Nothing I can complain about. It scans all barcodes 2d and 3d. It works with square on iPad. Looks pretty nice. It’s USB rechargeable. Oh hey, there is is thing to complain about, it uses the absolutely ancient big fat USB connector that like no one else has used in fifteen years. What a strange design decisio

Very happy with functionality for price. Top of my list for replacement or additional, if needed.

Once you discover what all you can put in a barcode or QR code, you may find all kinds of uses for a good wireless scanner. Inventory of course, but you can use it to enter any kind of text into pretty much any kind of application. While I would not recommend such a thing, you could use it to enter your username and password to login to something. Or enter often used commands into a CLUI. Anything you can imagine.

I had not released that there are so many different barcode fonts out. This reads the one we use but our first one would not. So check!

I like this product very much. I used other 3 cheaper barcode scanner before. The price is 30-60. It all can’t scan DPD&UPS&DRUDE&HERMES label or scan it very difficult. This product is very easy scan these barcode. Excellent product.

I initially purchased this as the 2D model for use in my retail store. I have a basic, cheap, wired barcode scanner connected as a backup but purchased the wireless model for ease as we often have bulky products going through the till which aren’t always convenient to lift up etc. The previous model worked well but was damaged after a drop (one of many!) and stopped working. I went to purchase another, though the initial price tag put me off the 3D model. I foolishly purchased an alternative (Tera) which eventually stopped charging within a few months. It was then I decided to purchase this product.

I should have made the decision sooner, as it was the correct choice all along. The device is ergonomic to hold and performs well consistently. The battery life, much like the previous model, is fantastic – there is an on/off switch but this is not really required if in daily use as it will go into standby itself (which can be adjusted/turned off.) There are many features that can be programmed by simply scanning barcodes. It may not be the most user-friendly way of doing things but once you are used to it it is simple enough. You only really need to program the device during the intial setup however and are unlikely to need to adjust much once it is setup. The product does work out the box and will suit most requirements without any need for adjustment.

The 3D model is far superior to the 2D model. It is the same external case and similar battery life but with fewer moving parts there is less to go wrong. I would like to see the product offered in different colour combinations but I suppose the colours make for ease identifying each model in the factory.

The device scans barcodes well – from a distance and manages crumpled/damaged barcodes. The 3D model of course also scans QR codes and will also scan barcodes/QR codes through a screen (such as a smartphone) – both of these a benefit as I have now moved staff swipe cards to QR codes available on Apple Wallet or printed.

The only downsides for me, firstly the device charging port is USB-B (the square connector) – not the worst thing in the world, but is certainly less ergonomic than say USB-C. If the device supported wireless charging it would too be a bonus. I am aware there is a product in the range that comes with a cradle but I opted against this as it appears to be a less rugged design which wouldn’t be suitable in my fast-paced, hard-floor retail environment. If this particular model was supplied with a similar cradle I would be very interested. The second downside is the price. I do believe that it is worth it in the sense that it is reliable and is definitely good quality. However, I am almost certain the markup on this product is phenomenal and it could be sold at a cheaper price in line with competitors.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product and despite the above I would certainly purchase again if required and would advise others to do the same. Zebra and Symbol products are popular in the industry at the top end but for any small to medium business this product is more than satisfactory.

Doesn’t have a charging dock, but really doesn’t need one. It runs for weeks without needing a recharge! Internal rechargeable cell. Comfortable grip. Works on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or you can plug the supplied USB cable directly from the scanner to a computer. Easy peasy to setup and just works hassle free.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks amazing. I have not tried the Bluetooth mode but the by far my favorite mode is the inventory feature that lets you scan hundred of codes and then dump them. It also has the ability to strip pretend and append values to the read codes show helpful as well as keyboard values like tab enter and space

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWir nutzen den Scanner BCST-73 um Barcodes von Formularen bzw. QR-Codes vom Bildschirm einzulesen.
