Very solid machining, not too heavy for my mount. Big knobs won’t unscrew completely and fall off.
This is an outstanding product. I use a relatively heavy camera (Nikon D850) and very long nighttime exposures. Vibration-free shooting is a must for me. I have used this for more than a year in the field now, and it meets all my hopes and expectations. At double the price this would still be a bargain.
Excellent Ball Head. Great value. Does what other ballheads can do at a fraction of the price. Highly recommend.
It’s great! I was able to change out the mount for different cameras.
The only thing I would change on this product is I wish the tension knob was bigger and you could use more torque to secure the clamping device.
Having said that however, it is a great product and I would definitely recommend it.
Rotule trs stable. Peux supporter un poids de 15 Kg.
Facile a manipuler . Excellent produit.
Ball moves smoothly, tension knob adjustment provides fine adjustment, the 44mm ball is perfect for a Fuji X-T4 with 50-140mm lens, you might get away with the 36mm version.
Anybody having g thoughts about purchasing one do before the secret is out.
Bought this to top my Leofoto mini carbon fiber tripod for my FX Impact M3 air rifle.
It’s better than I could’ve ever hoped for.
Also klare Kaufempfehlung z.B. fr SLR-Kameras (z.B. Canon 6D mit Tele: Canon EF 70-200 mm) und groes Stativ.
I ordered this to go with the Innorel tripod and I’m glad that I did, like the tripod this ball head is build like a tank. It’s sturdy and my camera feels safe mounted to it, It’s easy to use and the double cut outs to enable looking down with the camera, are a fantastic help. So far, I’m very happy with my Innorel buys and will continue to use them.
44mm is solid and low profile. With proper tension settings, the operation is smooth. It can be tightened to a frozen position, or a higher tension which allows you to position the lens into a nearly frozen position and further adjust without re-adjusting the tension. For the 200-600mm lens, I would definitely go with the 44mm at least. I would recommend this.
Perfect for the SLIK Pro 700 DX Tripod Legs. Supports Sig Patrol 7.63 with silencer and mag with no problem. all are stable and secure.
Wrde ihn jederzeit wiederkaufen
(aber ich brauche nur einen) !
Excellent combination of quality, price and functionality. I’m using it for panorama pictures with my medium format Fuji camera and it works great.
Honestly this is a very impressive ball head. Considering the price, it’s incredible. I doubt I could find anything like this for under 300 euros, and this one supports up to 30 kg which is unheard of!!!
Built-quality is top notch, as in built like a bulletproof tank. All the knobs have a very sturdy and precise feeling to them, not far from my Arca Swiss ballhead which is 3 times the price of this.
I would have no hesitation putting my $50,000 Alexa Mini on this thing.
The ball head comes in a dedicated pouch and even comes with an extra tripod plate.
A no-brainer in my book.
So far seems like a solid unit. Locks into position solidly.
It’s a high quality. I compared n52 to n44. N52 weight even lighter. Price is very close AliExpress on sale price. But it’s delivered by next day. AliExpress may have to wait 1 to 2 months.
Very solid & compact for a mirrorless camera, or for my D750 with a 20f1.8. Heavier combinations like the D750 with my 200-500 would exceed its capabilities, but I have a hydrostatic head for that. Overall an excellent low profile, solid & cost-effective.
Hi , I wanted to reach the seller, I bought one and I love it, and wondering how I can get a replacement for the top swiss arc plate, NOT the piece that attaches to the camera, the one on top of the ball head. I had removed it and misplaced it, can I get a replacement?
The ergonomics are good. it is well made and the finish is apealling. What I particularly like is that there is only one knob needed to loosen and tighten the ball adjustments. This definitely speeds up things. The ball’s stiction/friction is well balanced. I recommend this.
This ball head is great with one knob for tightening and the 2 slots for side ways adjustments. Moves around nicely slightly tightened and sturdy as a rock when completely hand tight. I have used my Tamaron 150-600mm lense and it stays put.
This head (and the smaller versions of it) is strong, stable and smooth beyond its size. Really well made and a joy to use.
2 things: Wish I could give it 6 stars and wish I found it a year earlier.
Ottima testa a sfera, robusta e comunque leggera. La fluidit ottima.
Muito estvel grande e de qualidade. No leve. Manuseio muito bem e suavemente.
Goes well with the Innorel bowl head tripod both very well made from good quality materials
Got this to replace my existing ball head which after many years has finally bitten the dust, the search for a new one took a while then I saw this beast of a ball head and boy is it big , very sturdy and holds my 100-400mm in any position without any droopage . All I will say is that if you take alot of pano shots which I don’t then you might find it a little tight for your liking , but that’s the only small negative . I’ve matched this with the neewer leveling base and the two go well together , now I have a good sturdy tripod that will last many more years.
Though I haven’t had a chance to do actual field work with it it does appear to be very sturdy in testing around the house. For what I spent on 2 other ball heads I could have got this one and been done, buy once cry once.
Using this for an 8kg chassis rifle on a manfrotto tripod.
It supports the rifle easily, great tension control as well and extremely solid.
Comes with two arca swiss adaptors
If you are looking for a ballhead for a rifle/tripod setup look no furthe
I will not claim to be an expert on BallHeads… But what I will say thisTripod Ball Head-INNOREL N52 is be best one that I have owned. I have Manfrotto and Vanguard BallHeads. I shoot a lot of portraits in both landscape and portrait orientation so the Ballhead will get a high amount of use. I really like Manfrotto but I really just needed a third option for permanent studio use. I took a chance based on the positive reviews on the INNOREL products. The presentation of this product was good with a carry case and a extra mounting plate. The Ballhead itself was heavy and seemed to be of good quality and rugged. The tension of the ballhead was excellent and feels secure. A low amount of turns will tighten and loosen both the ball and alignment adjustments. The Leveling bubbles are integrated and strategically place for fine tuning. The painted markings for adjustments are clearly defined and are pretty accurate based on light use so far. If I had one critic on this product, It would be the coating on the frame of the Ballhead may be easily scratched. It does nots seem to be a thick coating of paint but the matte finish may be deceiving. Since I am rough on my equipment, this may be a concern over time, but we will see. Over All…. I would buy this product again.
The build quality of this low profile ball head from INNOREL is excellent and you can see it is made of quality material. It is very stable and sturdy when using a Canon lens 100-400 MM. This is great value for price compared to the much more expensive N52BH-55 ball head from Really Right Stuff and is lighter. I definitely will be using this ball head for many years.
Good ballhead, precision engineered. The only thing that I do not like is that the bootom screw is a bit on the small side and, when mounted on a large tripod dish like the RT90C, the screw is very close to the dish and I have problems fastening it, especially with gloves on.
I was pleasantly surprised at the qaulity and the robust build features. Fit and finish is excellent. Great value also. The low profile feature for my application puts this ball head in an elite class of ball heads, IMHO. I required a light weight unit with a low center of gravity and this ball head delivered. I photograph at extreme acute angles with alot of weighty equipment and I am looking to save weight where ever possible. I wish there was other colors like red but I would buy this unit again in a New York minute.
I use this mainly for landscape photography and occasional macro. It’s a solid lock up even with a heavy camera /lens setup easy to adjust. The low profile keeps the center of gravity close to the tripod and coupled with the hollow ball keeps the weight low too. The knurling and size of the the control knobs make it very easy to make adjustments.
Solid ball head does what it says on the ti
I very solid ball head. Panning action is slightly stiff but I haven’t used it much so I’m sure once I get my gear on it it will be fine. Very pleased with i
This is very different than the standard ball head for tripod. It has metal material unlike the usual plastic so you can really say that the built is sturdy. I specifically bought this for overhead stand with my almost 5 kg camera gear. Comes with 2 plates as well.
I bought this the Innorel N52 ballhead to pair up with my purchase of an Innorell ST344C set of legs. This ballhead is rated to a maximum of 30kg and the legs 35kg. When I first fitted them together it was virtually impossible to rotate the head even with the clamp total loose. I slackened the allen grub screw that locks the head to the mounting pan and although fairly stiff it is reassuring and okay when the camera is fitted.
Solid piece of quality manufacture which looks every bit of a more expensive piece of kit. New to the UK, Innorel looks like a brand to watch with this type of quality at a reasonable price point.
I over all like the ball head it is sturdy. Friction on the main big knob is amazing which allows to move the head as needed, even with my big rig DSLR and 600mm lens
Issue I am having is with small knob that should allow me to rotate the ball head 360 degrees and I should be able to use the small knob control to rotate as needed but even after completely rotation to loose still I see the rotation very slow. I am wildlife photographer and the slow rotation I may loose the bird if I have to pan quickly
I may be doing some mistake as this is my first day unboxing trying with my 600mm telephoto lens
Can vendor reach out to me
Both Innorel N52 and N44 were tested and ranked very high in TheCenterColumn.com’s ball head rankings. They are better than many ball heads that are several times more expensive than them. So it is a steal at the price. N44 is pretty lightweight but still provides great performance. I also own several other highly ranked (and more expensive) ball heads, including Sirui K-30X, Kirk BH-1, and Leofoto LH-40. Compared to those ball heads, Innorel N44 does not have that silky smooth movement but still moves very fluidly. Also the panning is very stiff. The main lock knob needs to be turned several rounds to really lock down the ball head. On the other hand, it does provide more fine control of the friction of the ball in this way. It doesn’t have a separate tension knob, but I really don’t use this feature on my other ball heads, so I don’t think I missed anything. I really like the double U notch and low profile design but hope the main knob and panning knob should exchange their locations. Overall I am very pleased with this ball head and would highly recommend it.
I looked at a large number of ball heads as I had a specific requirement: I only wanted 1 control to tighten the ball (many have 2 which is annoying) and secondly, I use a Nikon Z mirrorless camera with the FTZ adaptor. The adaptor has a bulge at the bottom which fouls most quick release plates. This head plate has a slim line grip and thus does not foul the adaptor thus allowing quick lens removal. The ball is movement is smooth and easy. The whole casting and quality is excellent. The controls have a quality feel and finish. The 2 vertical slots are also a big bonus. Highly recommended.
The N52 is really big so I ended up with N44. It locks up well and smooth. Panning is much smoother and better than the Manfrotto XPRO. Any anything else just works. I used it with 5D4 and 24-105 and it locks up fine.(70-200 is heavier but it will sit on a collar so it puts less stress on the locking ball. ). This is the best value in this price range. I’m not familiar with this brand but it turns out a good buy – so far so good.
Very solid build, good quality design (reminding of RRS BH-55 – though for a fraction of the price), well made, second quick release plate a welcome bonus. 360* rotation a tad stiff but workable.
his is set up for my 308 on a shadow tech tripod with a pig saddle. Does exactly what it was intended to do. The ball head is mostly smooth, but don’t anticipate an extremely fluid video pan head with this. I would purchase another one for my intended use if I needed another one.
I’ve only used it 5 or 6 times out with my Sigma 150-600 lens. It holds the weight without issues.
I wish the main knob had less of a turn to lock and unlock but overall I’m very happy with the purchase.
Works great with my 1DX Mark II using a 70-200 f2.8 so it can definitely take the weight. I have had other more expensive brands bust on me or come apart or tighten too much not allowing a quick release. this one so far does not have any of those issues. i would buy again.
This ball head is missing a major feature that many heads have and that’s a separate tension knob. I didn’t even knock off a point because I don’t care about that feature. With this head, you can still loosen it slightly and adjust the camera without it falling over. You don’t need that feature. I have a substantial collection of ball heads, including Really Right Stuff and Arca Swiss. I’ve been moving my nicest heads around from tripods to camera stand to jibs and other slider rigs. The heads can be a pain to move when they get over-tightened, so I decided it was time to get a permanent ball head on each support system. I wanted to do it without breaking the bank, so I got a few samples of heads under $100. This was the best of the bunch and it’s a steal at the price. I’d go for the largest one if you have any long lenses. That’s the only one I tested.
Quality product at a rock bottom price. Every bit as sturdy as advertised.
This was the first time I invested a decent amount on a ballhead and boy did it pay off. Having used a friend’s expensive ballhead(RRS) I must say that the Innorel model punches wayyyy above its weight class. In fact, I’m not convinced it’s not coming out of the same factory as the more expensive RRS stuff.
Thanks to the small footprint of the Arca-Swiss clamp on this model, it works great with the JJC X-Pro3 metal hand grip to allow nearly full rear LCD articulation on an X-Pro3 camera https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083QFC76M
And it works better still using a small bi-directional base-plate that allows itself to be shifted slightly forward of the film plane to enable full rear LCD articulation: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HIQ3T4S
I can spend many hundreds of $$ on Ball Heads. I am not a professional photographer. I utilize this product to improve my marksmanship. Coupled with an RRS acra swiss Quick detach attached to a HOG saddle I can take targets well beyond my skill..
TWO thumbs up!!
Great ball head large enough to support larger lenses & my heavy medium format cameras
It’s definitely not as smooth as a higher end gitzo or manfrotto but for the price its perfect!
Excellent ball head for my needs! There is only one thing I feel needs attention. The screw knob for the Arca-Swiss lock needs to be have a longer shaft. That would make it easier to lock down and release your camera from the mount. Enjoy using this piece of equipment every time I photograph!
With little information that I was able to find about this head, I took a chance and glad I did. This head weighs as advertised but feels lighter than I expected. The 52mm ball is not only beautiful but holds solid. Being a hollow ball, time will tell if it fares well but my initial feeling is this ball will hold up for many many years to come. I like the shorter stem and the double notch but the clamp hits the pan ring when placed in portrait/gimbal orientation. I switched out the clamp for a 64mm round clamp and it clears above the ring and just looks better as far as I am concerned. The main large knob has a long turn for precision with the drag and locking. I found this to be fantastic with light and heavier loads. Panning is designed for heavier setups (being 52mm ball) and pans smooth with little effort but with a smaller camera body and 50mm, it feels a bit stiff. Over all, this is a winner and the bonus is the price. Shipped fast as it was handled by Amazon and I will and have already recommended to friends.
The clamp does come off with a little effort.
The bubble on the clamp is accurate and is useful, even being under the plate. This gripe people have is really unwarranted if they adapt as this placement is quite common and has not ever made me feel inconvenienced.
I would suggest changing the clamp but the one supplied is strong and super light… I just do not like it hitting the side of the housing when put to its max angles in the slots.
Built like a tank. You will not be disappointed in this ballhead at all. Supports my 5d iv with 150-600mm lens with ease.
I just purchased it after having a half functioning Benro ball head for years. From the looks of it right out of the box, it feels and looks like a quality made product. Box and product look brand new. Once I install it on my tripod, I’ll update the review.
This looked like a decent ballhead for the price, and especially if it were the weight it advertised to be – it wasn’t. I was looking to create the ultimate travel tripod for my interests. The tripod I chose came with a ballhead that was nearly one third of the weight of the whole tripod. This one was lighter AND it looked like a superior design. It is lighter, but with a couple of weaknesses in the design. The clamp includes a bubble level, which would be completely covered if you have a camera mounted. Most better ballheads include this feature, but design it so that the level is visible with the camera mounted – so it’s actually useful. The second flaw is that the clamp on this is nearly the tiniest I have seen, which means not very much purchase on the plate that is mounted to the camera or lens. I find this very odd considering the weight support claims they make. If I were intending to use this with any of my DSLRs I would have returned it. I only intend to use it with a much lighter bridge camera. I have many small ballheads and the only ones that have smaller clamp areas are those intended for GoPro and other very light cameras. I tried to remove the clamp, to replace it with one I’d be more comfortable with, but had no luck. However it was glued/chemically welded, etc. it is not coming out. All this said, it does seem like it will function well – better than most this inexpensive and only time will tell on durability.
