So much fun!
This really was so much for both myself and my partner to play together. We completed it in about 4 weeks, probably could be done quicker if you had the time or slower if you wanted to make it last as they have little side missions for you to go an explore on top of completing the actual missions.

Excellent 2 player game!
My newphews loved this game. Their parents commented on how much they appreciated the gift as it made them work together to compete tasks amicably. It was a pleasure to watch them have some much fun as a family placing it. Would highly recommend it!
I feel like I underpaid
Every now and then you get a game that’s just beyond stunning. The creativity is beyond anything I’ve ever seen in a game. Even the other half said it’s better than sackboy and that’s our main game! Truly worth every penny.

I’ve wanted to play that game since it came out cause it’s team work based and it’s pretty awesome. The graphics are lovely, the story too and it was actually a long game. I didn’t play it in one go cause I wanted to enjoy it fully so I took my time and I don’t regret buying it at all. I would lend it to my little cousin so he can play it as well, he was a fan of Little Big Planet, so I think he will love this too.
It works perfectly with my PS4 so I would recommend it to anyone who want to play a co-op sweet adventure game.
Perfect date night game
This game has been super fun to play in the evenings when the baby has gone to bed. Myself and my husband love that you have to work together to progress so no one skips ahead or gets left behind. It’s great problem solving and also a good team building game!
My wife told me that we don’t do enough things together as I was stuck on my ps5! So I bought her this for Christmas.
She was not happy and refused to play it. She didn’t like the spanners and car cleaning equipment I bought her either. I’ll never understand women.
I put the game away thinking that I would return it or sell it on. Then my ten year old nephew came to visit and he loved it. We really bonded together having to help each other through the levels and I’ve become the cool uncle.
I would recommend this to anyone but just remember that it is a TWO PLAYER ONLY game.
Love this game
Absolutely adore this game. The story is funny and cute. It’s nice to be able to play with another person and work together to finish the levels. The mini games are fun, makes it a bit more diverse as you compete against each other rather than working together to solve a problem. I would recommend this game to everyone!

Para los paps que queremos pasarla bien con nuestros hijos, este es un videojuego muy imaginativo, con escenarios y retos muy atractivos. Este videojuego te atrapa y no te suelta, y es una gran oportunidad para transmitir a los ms chicos la importancia del trabajo colaborativo. Aunque la aparicin del libro suele ser un tanto repetitiva y predecible, el resto del videojuego est lleno de sorpresas, es muy intuitivo y no decepciona en ningn momento. Great family game
Played this with my 8 year old son and he says it’s the best game he has played, you have to help each other and the game has lots of levels.
Lol my husband bought this game for us to play together and had no idea what it was like. You do have to work together in order to beat the levels. Some are much harder than others and it takes both people to pass. Many times we were irritated at one another lol. But overall it is a good fun game

The perfect two player co-op experience
First and foremost, It takes two is a two player game, which has to be done locally via a splitscreen, or online with a friend. There is no single player mode to this game, with that being said what you do get is a clever, fun and inventive two player game. That forces you to works in multitude of different ways as you progress through the game, which results in a whole lot of fun along the way.
If you are looking for something that can be played by two people, then there are very few games like this one, so grab a friend, join them on the couch or online and prepare to have a lot of fun. Can’t recommend this one more highly.
Amazing game for couples
Me and my boyfriend play this game together and we absolutely love it. It’s so fun and there’s such a variety of things to do in the game. Would 100% recommend this game!

Best game for 2 players
My 11 year old boys loved the co-op play of the Lego games when they were younger and have missed having games they can play together. They have LOVED playing “It takes two” together.
Awesome game
Brilliant game. Played it with my wife and we both had a great time. It starts out on the easier side but by the end it is a challenge. I’d put it up there with SackBoy and Spiro. Played on PS5 and it’s gorgeous. Best 2 player in years I’d say

We started playing the game pretty much directly as we got it and it’s so much fun!! No wonder what it’s considered game of the year.
We are 27 & 28 and we are like two kids playing games. Fighting a bit sometimes hahaha but it’s very fun!
Also, there something really cool about that game is that you can purchase the game only ONCE and play it with a friend who’s miles away, with just one version of the game.

Fantastic Co-Op Experience - Just Wish It Were Longer!
Bought this game for my partner and me to play together, as we’re loving couch co-op games at the moment and are playing every one we can find. It was a lovely story and the gameplay was great fun, changing up location with every level and the powerups you get were unique every time. I feel the story was more geared for Cody’s character, as my partner played as May and she felt that her powers weren’t as interesting and the story was more about Cody. I just wish the story were longer, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes.

Tolles Spiel für zwei Persone
Habe dieses Spiel fr unseren 12-jhrigen Sohn zu Weihnachten gekauft. Ziel war es, endlich mal etwas mit ihm zusammen spielen zu knnen, da sowohl Mama als auch Sohn Spa macht. Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr aufwndig gestaltet, fantasievolle Story, viele unterschiedliche und vielfltige Aufgaben zu meistern – ein Riesenspa fr uns Beide. Man mu zusammenarbeiten, um die entsprechenden Aufgaben zu lsen, das ist der eigentliche Reiz daran.

Jeu magnifique. Pleins d’nigmes et d’action digne des studios Disney. Belle morale galement. J’ai termin le jeu avec mon fils de 12 ans et on s’est bien marr franchement. Beau jeu d’quipe. Je recommande sans hsitations.
Great 2 player game
My husband bought the game for two of us to play as I’m not much of PS player, but we are truly enjoying it together. Highly recommended!
Really fun game
Was jubious about this, but actually it was a great game. Takes about 10hrs to finish with a friend and is a straight forward game. Just make sure you have a friend to play with as it’s co-op only. Can be played local splitscreen with 2 controllers but you will need somebody to play with, it can’t be done solo.
Really good story and it’s pretty action packed. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it.

This has so much variety of game play it’s hard to believe, quality two player game.
Super fun game for two
Loved the huge variety of abilities the characters adopt in this game. The storyline was also great. Me and my other half had an immense amount of fun and looked forward to playing the game after work each day. It didn’t take us too long to complete it but it was not a short game either. Well worth the money.
Only note I would add is that the game is not easy! So if you have no gaming experience this may be a little difficult. But we loved that about it, a bit of a challenge.
Fantastic game - A must have
Great game, good graphics and well rounded story (note there are certain elements that may be disturbing for younger players), smooth gameplay, funny, quite colourful and with plenty of variety to enjoy the vast world of It takes two, a delightful gaming experience overall.
Furthermore, it is great fun when you can enjoy the game with a friend either by local co-op or online co-op (note, PS plus subscription is required to play online).
10/10 would recommend as an addition to your PS4/PS5 games catalogue.
Great Co op game to play with approachable difficulty
Really fun game, there’s many different influences from different types of games that keep things interesting. Amazing co op game to play with someone, one of the best I’d say. Wouldn’t say it was particularly challenging for the main game but there are mini games that can add difficulty if you want that.

This co-op game (only playable in local or online co-op!) has a great (and emotional!) story. I played this through with my girlfriend and we both loved it.
You don’t have to be good at gaming to be able to play and is great if one of you are a beginner at gaming. If this is the case, the ‘beginner’ should play as the wife, as she is much easier to play as.

I’ve been looking for a good couch co-op I can play with the Mrs,who only games every so often. It’s hard to come across good local co-op, it’s not like the old days. However this game was a breath of fresh air. Easy to play, great visuals and fun puzzles. Definately a good pass time with the Mrs. Recommend it to any other couples too.

Great way to spend time with so
My son and I have really enjoyed playing this game together. It’s one of the few two player games for his PS5 we have found where two people can play in the same room on the same console rather than having to be online. Finally a good reason to have a second controller!

Me and my partner had played this game for many hours and hours and every moment was worth the play , best co-op for couples and best co-op ive played in a very long time , the story is very meaningful , would highly recommend
Very satisfying co-op experience with very minor flaws
My boyfriend and I both enjoy playing games, and are always looking for things we can play together at the weekends. It takes two seemed like a no brainer. It is from the same team who gave us A Way Out which we had also played and enjoyed. It takes two takes place in a much more whimsical world than the prison escape of the aforementioned title, and sees you play as May and Cody, a couple on the brink of divorce, who are somehow changed into dolls by the tears of their daughter Rose (just go with it!) and have to work together to find their way back to their home and their daughter.
The gameplay style is platforming and puzzle solving, and each character has their own role, ensuring you must work together to progress. It is not so difficult that you won’t be able to figure it out, but neither is it insultingly easy. I would say it’s 12 age rating is about right, making it suitable for most older kids and adults. We played it together at home, but you can also invite a friend to play online at no extra cost with the friend pass.
On the whole I liked this game very much but there are a few minor things that prevent it from being perfect. On a couple of occasions we had characters fall outside of the game world, which meant we had to restart the game. There were a few times when the camera angles were not ideal for one character, but there was not much we could do about it, except get through as quick as we could, and the last very minor thing is we both agreed that the talking book character was very annoying!
Aside from these minor flaws this is a lovely game. Cute, nice to look at and not too hard. Ideal for playing with a loved one or friend. Be aware, this cannot be played in single player so if you’d rather play alone this is not for you!
It Takes Two is an excellent example of why couch co-op is still an truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
With the option to invite a friend to play with the code included it is brilliant value for money.
The game itself as the title suggest revolves around various beautifully crafted levels with puzzles and bosses to fight with your partner.
Whilst it’s not an overly challenging game by any means I do feel it will be enjoyed by a slightly older audience to grasp and appreciate the many themes and jokes included.
The levels are incredibly varied as are the puzzles and boss fights. The way the developers have crafted the game is in my opinion absolutely brilliant. It’s unique, innovative and above all – damn good fun!
The graphics are as to be expected depending on what platform you play on. They aren’t breathtaking but they aren’t bad either. You get glorious vistas to view out across, deep colours and rich environments.
The gameplay as mentioned above is fun, unique and genuinely well thought out. A particular level has each player equipped with half a magnet each. You work together to push/pull.
Another level you’re equipped with a nectar gun and a matchstick bazooka!
Each level/zone offers a great variety in play.
Throughout each level are some obvious and some not so obvious mini games. Which pit you against your co op partner. These offer a great variety and help break up things every so often.
Value for money? Well for the length of play and if you’re a trophy/achievement hunter I reckon you’re looking at a good 10/15 hours possibly 20 depending on how many times you stop to interact with the levels!
If you can nab this for 30/35 I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

One of the best platform games I’ve ever played . Imaginative levels . Great story . A real surprise . Playing with my 5 year old boy and although some of the bosses are a bit tough for him we got through it just fine . ” It’s a 12 after all ” . And it really does take two

Me and my two children are obsessed with this game it’s so much fun and so addictive! Some bits are challenging and frustrating but that’s part of the enjoyment figuring it out. 100% recommend

Loved this start to finish.
Nice to play with someone else either on the coach with you or online from different places.
Also great that you can play it with friends even if they don’t own the game ( as long as they play on the same platform ).
The game itself was a lot of fun, with a surprising good longevity.
Gameplay and story are super fun and with lots of variety to keep you entertained and surprised.
Me and my flatmates loved it so much we went for the platinum trophy.
Recommended to anyone who can enjoy it with someone else and willing to try something different than the usual nowdays games.

Fun two player action adventure
Initially tried the demo of this game and found it so endearing and fun to play. Price now down, I decided to buy this to see how much more fun the rest of the game would be.
It is a joy to play and a great way to engage with another player, working in a team effort to get the game completed. Whether it is local play or online, it is fun and challenging to team up and take these characters through the many parts of the journey. The story ,I guess can come of as a little cheesy and overly sweet at times, but it is so much fun to control and play that this doesn’t matter.
The quality of the game design is just excellent, from the beautiful locations, graphical quality and animations used, it really is a lovely game to look at and play.
To play this you do have to team up with another player, but on this occasion it makes it all the better.
More two player co-ops like this would be welcome.

Absolutely amazing game!! The storyline, functionality and creativity is on a totally higher level than other 2 player games.

I never expected to enjoy such a multiplayer game since I always tend to play single player games, but this one is actually a terrific one.
Family friendly, very fun, so joyful and has an excellent gameplay mechanics and wonderful graphics and animations.

Just Brilliant...!!!!
After many years struggling to find a decent co-op game our prayers are answered. Fabulous split screen graphics and a plethora of puzzles that you both have to combined to solve. Around 12 hours game play and the pace never slows keeping it exciting throughout. Quite simply the best co-op I’ve played. Let’s hope more developers give us more of this in the future. Me and my son have had an awesome time playing this. 10/10 love it….
A marvellous game
I saw the trailer for it and thought I would give it ago. Well I have never played a game within the past few years which is as good as this, it’s amazing!!
The story, characters and voice overs are fantastic. The game play and puzzles are extremely well done not to hard but not to easy.

Purchased this from a different retailer as it was unfortunately out of stock on Amazon. Can honestly say this is a fantastic game. We have the PS5 upgrade and after completing sackboy with the other half, this blows sackboy away. She is a massive fan of sackboy and even agrees with me on this. Fantastic game, the graphics are superb on the PS5 with hours of fun. Highly recommend!

So much fun! Played a free trial and loved it so much that I decided to buy the full version. It’s a co-op and both characters have to work together to progress in the game, but there are also some mini games inside that are competitive and are just brilliant! I would recommend this game to anyone! Just be mindful that you can’t play it on your own.
