Comfy but fake leather = sweaty bum ha ha! The covering material started to crack after less than 6 months.
Good recliner/swivel chai
Good quality chair at a very reasonable price,needs to be put together which takes about 3 mins,I placed my order late on a Friday night and they arrived first thing Sunday morning,you can’t ask for better than that.

Very comfortable chairs and look much more expensive than they are. Easier to put together if you secure the lugs on the seat and back earlier than is indicated in the directions, which could be clearer. But this niggle did not put us off buiying a second chair once we had started to use the first and liked it.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Purchased this after being let down by a High St retailer. It’s a fab piece, very comfortable and it’s size is not bulky so it doesn’t overpower the room like some furniture.
Used the Next Day delivery option – received messages keeping me updated and the tracking system for the carriers was state of the art – even told me the name of the driver – well worth the small charge.
My only negative comment would be, there is a fair degree of DIY assembley required so this is would not be an ideal purchase for anyone likely to challenged by this in terms of ability or strength (eg. a lone elderly person), but definitely worth getting someone to do it for you it you want a nice item for a very reasonable price.

Stylish and Good Value Chairs
I can see why people buy online! Arrived in 1 day, emails said a 1 hour slot and they were here within 15 minutes of the start time by cheerful driver. The chairs took about 15 minutes each to assemble – a child could do it. They are stylish, comfortable and appear to be very well made, the material being quite thick and durable. For the price, they are just as described and very good value.

Bought this chair as an addition to my bedroom to save me sitting on my bed when Playing Xbox or watching films which can get uncomfortable extremely quickly.
Was easy to assemble, possible with one person, easier with two just to get the arms in position. Material is extremely soft to touch, very plush, and incredibly comfortable. Has a high premium feel to it with a moderate price from the material of the chair as well as the wood feet. Reclining mechanism is just the right resistance, not too sensitive to slide the moment you sit down, but you dont find yourself pushing either.

Best price I could find online and very fast, no problems delivery. The chair itself is of reasonable quality for what I paid. Assembly average if you have already done this type of thing before, if you have not ,I would say take your time and follow the instructions very carefully.

I bought this for my dad at christmas. It provides good back support and is extremely comfortable. I sit in it myself when he’s out!!
I found the instructions limited BUT even so, if you let common sense prevail, it is very easy to put together.
I’ts now a month old and no problems as of yet. Worth it for the price.
My existing 3 piece suite is now too low for me to get up easily. This chair is a few inches higher and makes all the difference. It is also remarkably comfortable, especially when used with the footstool.
Construction was perfectly straightforward,though a certain amount of firm pressure is required to align the bolt holes in the arm rests.
The instructions are easy to follow and include an illustrated parts checklist. The parts are packed in logical groups making it easy to identify what is what with the different sized nuts, bolts and washers seperately bagged, making identification straightforward. The finished chair and stool are perfectly level on completion.
The only flaw was that the thread on the handscrew used to adjust the reclining action was not cut accurately, making it impossible to install. A quick phone call to the included Julien Bowen support number had a perfect replacement sent to me by return. The company clearly believes in good customer support.
The included tools are of better than some I have found in some self assembly kits in the past and were used to build the chair, it would have been slightly quicker to use my own toolkit, however, I was too lazy to go out and get them as those included posed no problem.
This chair represents excellent value with alternatives with more sophisticated reclining mechanisms, say, costing significantly more.

Despite coming in a pretty hefty box with some substantial padding etc, one of the legs for the chair had a split in it, though as it was near the centre and did not appear to affect the structural integrity of the stand I decided to keep it.
Assembly was straightforward but I did find some attention was needed to ensure the respective bases were level before finally tightening all the bolts; initially there was some ‘wobble’, and had I simply assumed that lining everything up would ensure stability I’d have been in trouble. Though I haven’t ‘really’ tried it seems that once the chair is attached to the base it is difficult-if-not-impossible to remove it again, which would have made adjustment of the feet extremely difficult. Nevertheless, like other reviewers, I was able to complete the assembly single handed but for some assistance connecting the backrest to the seat base (some force was needed to line up the pins) and again to line up the seat pillar with the seat stand.
Overall, I would say that at this price the chair represents very good value for money and but for the slight damage to one of the feet I would have given this item 5 stars

Brought for teenage sons room & all v pleased with chair. Quality good & although some assembly necessary, my husband put it together fairly easily on his own. Teenage son uses it daily for lounging & gaming, only problem is getting him to move from it!! Delivery was quick & problem free would definitely consider buying another from this seller in future.

I had read reviews which said these chairs split/crack after just one use but I haven’t found that and have used the chair daily for almost a week (if I do I’ll be expecting amazon to deal with it to my satisfaction!) Its very very comfortable and my husband is extremely jealous so might get one for him too. Only issue is with the fact that it has to be put together by yourself which we found very difficult – takes some strength and dexterity.

I researched a few similar products but ultimately settled on this one. So far I have to say that I am delighted with my choice. The quality and comfort are superb, well worth the price. It is also a little more compact than I was expecting, to the extent that I’ve found that it tucks nicely under my home desk, doubling as an extremely comfortable computer/office chair. lovely chair but too low
Very comfortable and good looking chair, just one drawback, it is not high enough. I have overcome this by screwing “riser blocks”, stained and polished to match, under the legs supplied.
elaxation at value price
I absolutely love this product. I have been suffering from back pains and felt a recliner might help them. I managed to put the chair and stool together without any help just by following the instructions given. My back pains have now gone and the chair is so comfortable I have found myself falling asleep sitting in it. The footstool is the perfect height and being flat rather than some of the tilted ones on the market is a bonus. The chair looks great, was an amazing price, and is a purchase I do not regret.

I bought this chair as I have a damaged spine and need a suitable chair,which I can adjust and this does the job magnificently. the only drawback were the instructions,which are awful,i spent a good 15 mins looking for a bracket,which turned out to be an arm,but in the illustration,it was the same size as the brackets,hence the confusion.the manufacturer gave a phone number,but no one was there ,as it was a bank holiday Saturday. in the end,i disregarded the instructions,which were spread across two pages,which meant I had to keep turning over.i found it much easier to put together on instinct,so I have given it four stars.on the next working day,the manufacturers,did phone ,to check it was alright though and in all fairness,i would buy another,as the price,its terrific.
This arrived quickly and was easy to put together – no tools required other than the key supplied. It reclines beautifully and appears much more expensive than it actually was. Well satisfied.

Bought this as a cheap alternative to home furniture as new home would need the main window removed to be able to get a “proper” sofa etc into the house. Takes about 10-15mins to put together and comes with tools. Only small gripe is your bum can get a bit sweaty when sitting on it but otherwise no complaints, ha ha! Very happy.

Excellent chair and footstool but for that person who wants to come home after a very hard day’s work you want to feel as though you are sinking into a bed of pillows. More stuffing please! I certainly wouldn’t mind having to pay 30% more for “the perfect chair”. Easy to put together and very well packaged, would have given it 5 stars had it have been stuffed a little more 🙂

Easy and Comfy
It was even easier to put together than the reviews led me to believe. Did the whole thing on my own in about 20 minutes. So far a very comfy chair, haven’t sat back on my sofa once since I got it – I have put eternal dibs on the chair! At the end of the day, its just a case of seeing how long it lasts. Being as cheap as it is, not sure what to expect but so far so good. I would definitely recommend as a cheap alternative to the 300 mark jobbies.

Comfy, Classy and Good Value
Bought this item on the 8th, it was deliver on the 9th.
Assembly was fairly painless, instructions are a little unclear (Footstool) (Armrests) Made me feel like I was going to break the armrests, though I suppose this is the same with all self assembly items.
Quite low to the floor, though this turned out to be a benefit as the Armrests fall just under my pc workstation so no chance of damage the faux leather with accidental collisions. Will keep my eye out for durability, as this is my 4th chair in 2 years.

Really comfortable and stylish
I was looking for a recliner for some time and decided on this one on account of the good reviews it got. Was not disappointed. Item arrived quickly and was packaged well. My son put together the chair and stool quite quickly even though the instructions was a little unclear. A few people spoke about the holes on the arm of the chair not aligning properly we also found this to be the case on one of the arms but managed to fix this. The recline goes quite far back and is really comfortable. I am really pleased with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.

This is by far the best thing I have ever purchased from Amazon. I got a cheaper chair just like this one from b&m bargains that was terrible and I had to take it back. This one though is excellent, brilliant support all the way down my shoulders and back and is the perfect height for relaxing in. I wouldnt buy this if you are after an office chair unless you have very long arms. Its abit low for that but Im 6ft 3″ and my feet are just nicely on the floor if you dont use the foot stool. Reclines to a decent amount too.

These were a gift for use on my sons canal boat and the feed back is – attractive – comfortable and pleasing. the delivery was faster than quoted and good value all round!
