Great for small to medium size cake mixes; easy to operate, convenient size and a good price with Amazon offer. Despite some reviews splash guard is very effective and have had no problems with mixture sticking to sides of bowl. Would probably give 5 stars if it included whisk attachments. Haven’t used dough hooks yet but all round very happy.
Bought this as a present for my daughter, she loved it, not sure about durability and versatility as she’s not mentioned any of that. I bought a Kenwood Chefette in 1977 and it’s still going strong, I’m hoping this model will be as durable.

It’s Kenwood! The name speaks for it’s self. Bought my first one 40 years ago, it died so had to be be replaced. Lasting 40 years, I would have been mad to buy any other make.
I love this and use it much more than the Kenwood Prosper I had before. Very flexible. My only quibble is that, when using the whisk as a free-standing whisk, it tends to topple over – the whisks become too heavy to balance with even quite a small amount of mixture on them.

Hopefully will last as long as the previous Chefette Hand Mixer I got in 1975. This one is quite a bit larger, has a metal mixing bowl with fragile plastics lid, and useful attachments.

Small mixing bowl works beautifully, just make sure you have the mixing blades are the right way round or the bowl remains static. Tilting the appliance a little stiff to begin with.

As others have said, a great replacement for our,original wedding present, same make, lasted 35 years! Have binned the hand mixer bought last year. This one is just so good on its stand, makes baking so much easier. This should last me the rest of my life hopefully!! So reasonably priced too.

It’s not an artisan but hey love that you can use it as a handmixer and if ever needed as standing mixer. It’s good decent power too. Can’t complain.

Was delivered very quickly & undamaged, the Kenwood HM680 Cheftte is attractive & you would think it was a much more expensive mixer.
Really useful to be able to use this on the stand or as a hand held mixer. Sturdy construction and not too heavy or noisy. The only issue I have with it is that it should have a much slower low speed for blending. The lowest speed can throw flour out of the bowl if using it by hand. Not sure it actually needs as many as 5 speeds. Four, including a very slow initial speed would be plenty. My 40+ year old Kenwood Mini ( still going, just ! ) is very good in that respect with only 3 speeds. This mixer appears to be unique in its flexibility and is priced sensibly. Recommended.
Compact.. Easy to use and clean (in the dishwasher) and so much cheaper than the others I looked at. So far we’ve used it for cupcakes and butter icing and it did the job perfectly.

I bought this as a part replacement for my 20 year old kenwood chef. The chef still works very well but I have trouble lifting it. The cheffete is easily lifted from a cupboard and works well for the smaller quantities I now need. Top marks for an excellent machine.

Very pleased with this product. Its exactly what I was looking for. Very powerful and not as much noise as other brands. It’s a bonus the metallic bowl and the mix doesn’t splash when you whisk it.
A gift for my mother’s birthday she was very please with it however it was a bit disappointing that the box was dented ! When it arrived and also the fact that I can’t be sure that it will work the way I need it to because of this dent.

Just what I wanted. The only drawback is the necessity to remove the cover in order to add further ingredients. I note the more expensive larger mixers have this but, being a small family, I wanted this particular size. Lovely mixer, easy to use and also quite quiet. Well done Kenwood!
Very pleased with this machine.It is also useful to be able to iuse it as a hand mixer as well as on its stand. The only fiddly thing is the splash guard but that gets easier as you use it.

I have just used my Kenwood Cheffette for the first time today and it’s brilliant. Really going to enjoy using it! The whisks take ingredients from side of bowl and everything mixed really well. It’s great having the shield on top too. Great mixer – would highly recommend.
So far so good although it has only been a month. It is quite loud but at this price it has done everything I have asked of it and is small enough to fit into my little kitchen. Great product and fantastic value for money.

This is brilliant kenwood mixer! got it as a present for my mum and she loves it, didn’t have any problems with it – does it job very well, very fast and gives you the choice if you want to use the stand or if you quickly use only the mixer itself.

The bowl does goes round with gearing from beater, which is different from original. Easy to use.
