These were a gift so I don’t know about battery life
But they were pleased with them .
Good value, easy to install, has 10 year life span then replace.
Arrived on time and was easy to install. Works when you press the test button, hope we never find out if it works if there is a fire!

Very well priced smoke alarm and comes with everything you need to fit it to the ceiling (bar the drill).
The battery that came with it was flat, though.
The item that I bought was great value for money,so easy to work. I now know where to go if ever I need another one

Bought for caravan thankfully it has not gone off, small unobtrusive size
The hush feature beeps intermittently for a while after you press it just in case someone were to test it then hush it then think the battery they had just put in were a dud and get super confused when it happened again. Just in case.
Useful feature though! Read the instructions.
Ordered from caravan smoke alarm section but the instructions say not suitable for leasure vehicles or boats but I have put in caravan will see what happens.
So far no false alarms which is better than the fire angel one it’s replaced.

Excellent product works as should. I would rather have the replacement battery type. Some of the others with fixed batteries don’t last as long as they should. Some less than 12 months in my experience.
Arrived on time works ok only thing was there were no screws or anything to fix it to the ceiling. So I had to go out and buy a pack of screws just so I had 2 to put it up with!
Got this for our caravan as existing one was out of date. I wanted one that didn’t go off every time you cooked. This hasn’t been tested yet in that way as we’ve not been able to go away since buying yet due to lockdown however many other reviewers say it didn’t go off. Easy to test and easy to fit. Lasts 10 years and has replaceable battery too.

Very quickly delivered,great make,and bargain price,I suggest read the manual,re flip out arm on battery insertion to ensure correct battery insertion,original replacement battery was low on power,no big deal inserted Duracell had a few spare,but at this price and brand I recommend.
Ich habe diese als Ersatz fr die 10Y29, die ihre Sollzeit erfllt hatten, gekauft.
Wichtig war mir, dass ich die alten Sockel weiter verwenden kann und keine neuen Sockel samt neuen Bohrlchern installieren muss.
Dieses Vorgabe wird mit den 29HDRB erfllt. Lediglich ein kleines Plastikstck (das bei der alten Version die Installation eines inaktiven Melders verhindern soll) muss u.U. mit einem Seitenschneider entfernt werden. Danach arretieren die 29HDRB bombenfest in den Sockeln der 10Y29.

Always opt for the Kidde models. Never had an issue with them. Work consistently well. Burnt food in the kitchen will set them off – which is a good test in a way.
This is a good small size………not so obtrusive as some detectors
Works fine but i thought it had a 10 year battery life but it is actually a 10 year alarm life.
