Thankfully this was not the case with ours.
It is a beautiful little vanity and our granddaughter absolutely loves it.
This is the 3rd KidsKraft product I have purchased for her and we have had 0 issues with any of them. Well made , sturdy pieces for sure.

Wood is very thin (was expected for price) but still quite sturdy. Chair is very strong as it held my 200lb self without any trouble. Had a bad mark on the mirror when I got it. My daughter absolutely loves it.
Bon produit correspond bien la description, quelques dfauts malheureusement des gratignures, peut tre pas assez bien protg pour le transport, en plus j’ai du modifi la porte car une panture de porte ne faisait pas (Dfaut de fabrication) sinon ma fille s’est heureuse du rsultat final

Could have done a better job labeling the parts. It is very pretty and sturdy. We have it to our granddaughter for her birthday.
Easy to assemble for one person, took 1.5 hours at most. Easy instructions to follow. No damage during shipping even though you could tell ups was rough with it. Only problem was it was missing the knob for the door. Easy fix though, just purchased a cheap one at hobby lobby. Only main concern is the left cabinet easily detaches from middle section even after tightening screws. Should be fine as long as not moved a lot. Overall happy with purchase and daughter loves as well.

Perfect size vanity for my three year old daughter. She loved to sit here and color and put on her pretend makeup! It has easy to follow instructions for assembly. However, it took a couple hours to assemble by myself.

Very impressed by this vanity. My four year old daughter got this for Christmas and loves it! It is just her size! There is plenty of storage for her to put her makeup, hair bands, etc. The mirrors aren’t real glass but they are great quality and very clear!

I was very surprised how good this little vanity is. It’s small and perfect for my 3 yrs old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it! Very sturdy, not hard to put together. The chair is very solid. The mirrors are plastic but very good reflection. It came with two broken pieces but Amazon Customer Service was excellent and replaced them immediately. Very happy with this purchase!!!

This is perfect! Well made, easy to follow instructions, comes with wall mounting supplies as well. Bought for my 5yo for Christmas. Mirror is great quality view even though it’s not real glass. KidKraft does a great job with making affordable, sturdy, kid friendly pieces. Arrived in about 1 week.
Good product. Once I put it together it will be great. I had to get tools. I am sure most adult men already have the tools needed. But I had to “catch up”. Finding the time to put it together is my drawback. The chair is together and she is enjoying it. Now just need to finish the rest. I may hire a carpenter to finish it.
Nice addition to a girly girls room. Was a big hit this Christmas. The mirrors are not real glass, but they are clear and much safer in this house.

Very well made and durable. There has been finger nail polish spilled on it and cleaned off with finger nail polish remover and didn’t hurt the finish. Very nice

Great product. My daughter loves it. Perfect size for kids. Probably going to last till she is 11 or 12, in terms of size. One star deduction for the mirrors, which is not a real mirror, just some composite mirror. It works, but I would have preferred real mirrors.

It’s so pretty, perfect size for my 5 year a old princess, but I must warn you, the knob of the little door does not fit well, and always falls down, leaving the sharp point of the screw out, I just went to the home depot and put one myself, that actually works

It was pretty easy to assemble. Quality of the material was good, paint evenly and the chair is very stable and strong. I sat on it while my granddaughter of 5 years did my hair and makeup. We had so much fun. She was so delighted with the vanity. I’m sure it will last her a long while if taken care of. The mirror had no odd distortion or reflection. I would give it a 5 star rating but I felt it was a little overpriced. It was shipped to me in the time promised and packed well.
My daughter was so excited about this and almost a year later, she uses it just as much.

My 6 year old absolutely loves this vanity mirror. She spends so much time sitting at it and has all of her brushes/make-up lol. The cubbies are perfect and has kept her room neat. My daughters, 4 & 6, absolutely LOVE this! We recently returned from Disney, and they refer to this as their very own. “Bippidy Boppidy Boutique.” I got the Cheval full length mirror as well, so they’re able to see their transformations. They have so much fun and haven’t stopped playing with it since Christmas morning.
I had a small problem with one of the anchors on the seat back – the fastener didn’t want to smoothly screw in and then wouldn’t completely seat. I contacted the manufacturer (KidKraft) by email and got a prompt response from Morgan Whitehead in sales support. He promptly sent me a new seat back along with a complete fastener set. Now this is customer service! I would definitely look at KidKraft products again for future needs.

We are very happy with the purchase. The quality is better than we expected and worth the money spent. Nothing was missing or broken. There were slight alignment issues with a couple of the pieces. This was a birthday gift for my granddaughter and it ended up being her very favorite gift! The vanity arrived in a box that was falling apart but every piece arrived intact and there were no nicks or scratches. The quality of this vanity way surpassed all my expectations and my husbands too. He has done carpentry work and he commented how well made this vanity was. It was made with good solid wood, good instructions for assembly and a sturdy well made chair. This is not a small “play” vanity it is large enough that my granddaughter (who is 3) will use it throughout her whole childhood. Bottom line is that we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and my Granddaughter was thrilled with the beautiful “princess table”. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a product that will last and is beautiful. Based on the quality of this product we are now looking at KidKraft play kitchens to purchase for some of our other Grandchildren!
I recieved this item damaged laying against my garage door.We waited to open it because it was for christmas.We decided to open it and put it together so we could see if anything was damaged.Three pieces were damaged. We filed a claim and had the pieces within five days.We had it together three days before christmas.
