I was suddenly too weak to feel safe getting up off the commodes in my house. My mother had had those thicker plastic seats and I never liked them, for stability, cleaning or looks. A friend mentioned these and I got two for the bathrooms I used and they are truly life changing. So much so that I had them put in in my other two bathrooms as well. Very useful, supportive and sturdy and also easy to clean and with no damage to the actual commodes. A total win.

Ich habe dieses Gestell fr meine Eltern gekauft (beide 84 Jahre alt), da sie sich beim aufstehen schon etwas schwer tun. Sofort waren sie so begeistert, dass sie es eigentlich schon viele Jahre vorher haben htten wollen. Mein Vater sagt, man sitzt jetzt am WC wie auf einer Schulbank 🙂
Absolut empfehlenswert, da man nichts irgendwo anbohren muss. Die Montage ohne Werkzeug ist in unter 10 Minuten erledigt.

It works so well that I ordered another one for our second bathroom.
If you buy these you will want to spend more time on the toilet! They are the best quality, very strong and it took be 5 minutes to install. No taking toilet seats off and flimsy aluminum bars. Cost more but these are the bomb.

This has been a life saver for my 87 yr old mother. We paired it with a four inch booster seat for the toilet. It works great. I am really surprised by how sturdy it is. It’s solid made with decent gauge metal. After a year and a half it looks brand new. It’s still just as sturdy as it was the day it was installed. It actually attaches to the toilet itself which makes it more sturdy. No holes in your wall or floor.
The arm rest slides forward slightly with a lever underneath. It was very easy to install. I believe everything needed came with it. I might have needed a screwdriver. Took me maybe 15 minutes.
Bottom line, it’s great. My brother has health problems. After using the one at my mothers he wanted one. So we purchased another one. I would recommend it to anyone who has difficulty getting up from a seated position.

Robuste Toiletten-Aufstehhilfe
Die KMINA – Aufstehhilfe Toilette ist robust und sehr stabil in der Konstruktion. Die Armlehnen sind beidseitig hhenverstellbar und fr einen seitlichen Zu- bzw. Einstieg absenkbar. Leider muss man hierzu bei Bedarf die Rendelschraubstifte herausdrehen. Eine Mglichkeit, die Hhenverstellung durch eine Rasterklippfunktion, wie etwa bei Gehhilfen, zu nutzen ist nicht gegeben. Wird es wohl auch aus Sicherheitsgrnden nicht geben. Diese Aufstehhilfe steht fest am Boden und wird durch die seitlichen Druckhalter stabil an der Toilette verspannt ohne dies zu schdigen. Diese Aufstehhilfe passt nicht nur fr Standtoiletten sondern auch an Hngetoiletten. Die Armlehnen lassen sich in drei Stufen vor oder rck verschieben und rasten ein. So dass zum Aufstehen der Krperschwerpunkt auch nach vorne verlagert werden kann und so das Aufstehen erleichtert. Die Schaffung der Mglichkeit, die Armlehne wegdrehen zu knnen, um einen seitlichen Zu- oder Abgang zu ermglichen, wre kein luxus was Barrierefreiheit angeht, wrde mir gefallen. Diese Aufstehhilfe ist in wenigen handgriffen leicht zusammengebaut und aufgestellt. Diese Aufstehhilfe kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Es fcil de montar, no hace falta ningn tipo de herramienta para su montaje, solo algo de espacio para sacar las piezas de la caja y montar el armazn. Luego lo llevas al bao, lo sujetas al inodoro y listo.
Es muy estable. En las patas tiene unas tapas de goma para evitar que se puede mover/desplazar.
Muy contento con su compra. Es algo caro pero te puedo asegurar que merece la pena.

Den Artikel finde ich sehr hilfreich fr die zu pflegende Person. Die Aufstehhilfe lie sich sehr leicht zusammenbauen (ohne zustzliches Wekzeug) und war innerhalb von ca. 15 Minuten einsatzbereit. Auch beim Reinigen des Bodens ist sie sehr schnell beiseite gestellt, da man nur die Spannschrauben rechts und links lsen muss. Insgesamt vermittelt das Teil einen soliden Eindruck.

I recently had a below the knee amputation(12/8)..I had a cheaper hand rail for the toilet (not cheap just cheaper)...it wobbled which didn't instill confidence and caused a fall...this hand rail does not WOBBLE ...worth the money.

My parents both in their 90s need lot of help getting up from toilet. I was looking different options to mount a rail from side etc. Finally came across this simple mechanism with great reviews. It was like 10 minutes to assemble. Very sturdy. My mom puts all her weight on it when getting up and it stays put. She likes it very much.
Also, it helps them from falling off the toilet.

I had previously used the free standing Drive and Vaugn adjustable height toilet rails. The drive set was solid, but short. The Vaughn set was tall enough, but wobbled. I decided to splurge. I assembled this myself in a tiny bathroom.
Pros: This is sold, heavy metal. So heavy I had to wait a few days until my body would allow me to lift the box onto a wheeled platform. A piece at a time would have worked as well.
Five metal pieces, 4 adjuster knobs and 2 suction cups. No tools needed.
My bathroom is Itty bitty, I have an elongated bowl and this fits and my door still closes.
Handle heights are adjustable, though could stand one more hole for shorter people. I am 5’6″ and the adjustments work for me.
Wide, flat feet with angled ends that don’t slide. Stays where you put it.
Did I mention heavy duty?
Cons: Heavy. If you have to build and move it yourself and your legs don’t work so well, it’s difficult. Obviously not that difficult, I did it myself.
Crossbar-I went with straight, but my bowl was too low, so I had to change to down angle. I should have measured, but legs..
Handles are HARD. And flat. I put grip tape on them and it helps. Not a deal breaker for me but might be for others.

Suction cups increase stability, but I don’t have then installed. I know my own limitations. If you don’t want this to move even a little, the suction cups do that.
If you want solid, heavy, not moving when you have it all installed, this is it. If you like to move your toilet rails around, not so much.

Viele der Aufstehhilfen scheinen so wackelig, dass ich Angst hatte meine Mutter knnte eher einen Unfall haben als eine Hilfe bedeuten. Daher war ich froh diese Aufstehhilfe zu finden. Bis zuletzt war ich unsicher ob das Teil an dem WC sicher halten wrde, irgendetwas zu beanstanden sei. Aber ich war begeistert, die Montage war leicht, alles fest montiert, nichts wackelt und man kann die Hhe optimal anpassen. Ich bin vollstens zufrieden und meine Mutter auch. Die Armlehnen sind nach oben, unten und nach vorne oder hinten verschiebbar und sollten somit fr jedermann bequem sein. 100% Empfehlenswert.

Has to machine additional holes in cross bar to be able to move handles closer together so clamps would tighten against the bowl. Arms are adjustable, which is good. Again, a very well built solid unit, would be very easy to install but I had to modify in machine shop to make it fit, so I gave 4 stars. If it fits your toilet, you will be happy with this unit. You do have to press the cross bar firmly on each side to assemble. (Toilet was a brand new 15" extra high unit with elongated bowl from Lowes, just installed for elderly parent.)

Mother in law had a stroke. We needed something to support her getting on and off the pot. This thing is as sturdy as a mule. Doesn’t move and is very supportive of weight put on the arms. Definitely worth the purchase. Strength is always important and this doesn’t disappoint.

This is the second one we have purchased for our home and are extremely pleased with the items. They are really built solid. The first one has been in daily use for two years without any issues. The second one is slightly less wide but it doesn’t matter as we didn’t need it fully extended; however, it may matter for someone who does need the full extension. Really Secure and feels like sitting on a throne - literally!
Bought for surgery which left me mobilising on one leg for 12 weeks. VERY secure – it never ever moves – and gave me a lot of confidence while very unsteady on my one foot!
Love the broad arms which are very helpful for leaning on while getting dressed sitting down!
I like it so much I’m keeping it in place for the next operation!!

Leicht im Aufbau und funktionell. Armlehnen sowohl in der Hhe verstellbar als auch horizontal nach vorne.
Einziges Manko: bei einem bereits hohen Senioren WC mit schlankem Fu sind die Schrauben zum mittleren Absttzen zu kurz. Dann ist das Ganze nicht so stabil. Ich werde versuchen, mich mit Styropor- oder Holzblcken zu behelfen.

This product was easy to install, had good adjustments and was very sturdy. Just be careful not to overtighten the sides, as it possible to raise the toilet and cause it to move around a bit. This could damage the seal if too much movement is allowed to go unchecked.

Comfort safe aid
Good quality frame for around a toilet to give me a safer and more comfortable experience as a very large disabled lady who suffers with IBS etc. This frame is a must. I only wish I had found it years ago.

After installing it, I found it to be very sturdy and my 90 year old mother is very happy with it. It helps her a lot. My only complaint is that the pads that screw up against the toilet don't swivel. They still do their job, but if they swiveled, they would fit better against any toilet.

I received my second one today they went thru an absolutely extra effort for me to have it for my needs in our Home I will be installing today and will get ready for another in the near future all 3 now have KMINA
We have a one piece toilet with sides that curve just enough that the typical toilet support bars that attach to the toilet seat screws will not work. There is a tile wall behind and a wall with a pocket door next to it- ie no good place for grab bars. And there is a sloped cathedral ceiling- so we couldn’t use a floor to ceiling bar. I tried a less expensive floor based support, but my Loved One found that confusing and often walked off with it as it looked like a walker, and it did tip over once.
This was well worth the money. It is extremely sturdy, every piece is adjustable, and once in place it stays in place. Surprisingly, it doesn’t really make the bathroom look too institutional, sort of like an armchair on the toilet.
Assembly is simple, no tools required, though the directions are not especially helpful. But it goes together just the way you think it would. The back suction looking supports adjust last, once it is in place.
Highly recommended.
I recently broke my femur and needed toilet safety rails. I’m a 6′, 210# male.
I initially purchased a set that was half this cost, but it didn’t feel stable and clattered around when using the arm rails to push myself up and triggered a bit of anxiety every time I used it.
I did more research and got this to replace my initial purchase as I’ll be dependent on this for 3-4 months. It is ROCK SOLID in every way and and gives me total confidence that I’m not going to fall. I love that the arm height and arm horizontal adjustments can be made while sitting on the toilet to find the perfect positions.
Because of the design, it’s also much easier to maneuver a walker around it (no vertical rails to get in the way) and allows for my Toto bidet seat to be installed as there aren’t any back rails (initial rails didn’t allow this). I had someone install this and it was very straightforward and quick.
This is an investment in your safety and worth every penny. I’m beyond grateful I found this product.

I have used many of the other attachable handles and because of having to replace them every year due to breakage decided to try something sturdier. This product was easy to assemble and very sturdy. My only criticism comes in the side suction cups... When the base is set up at the maximum width on both sides the suction cups do not have a long enough stem to reach the toilet and lock in. They should include a longer set of bolts for when the bars are set all the way out. They are short by about 1 to 1 1/2 inch on both sides so I am sure when set at the smallest width they would fit great. We will have to figure out a way to stabilize this problem but even without the suction cups in the proper position the handles are supportive and I like the ability to extend or get rack the position of the handles. If the suction cups reached I would give this a 5 star rating.

Bought for my disabled wife. She is short, 5 ft, 74 y/o. Really helps her sit down and stand up when using the commode. I like that the arm rests can be moved forward or back and locked in place. The position of our commode and vanity are such the we slide one arm rest back and the other forward to allow her ease of moving to the front of the commode without having to move around the arm rest. Set up was not difficult and took only a few moments. Instructions are mostly illustrations. I had a little confusion about the threaded bolts with plastic knobs. There are too sizes and a lot of holes in the tubes and it took a little bit of trial and error to find the threaded holes for the smaller sized bolts. There is always room for improvement. Two things I would like: (1) would like the adjustable arm rests to raise about 2 to 3 inches higher. As I said, my wife is short, with short arms. When standing she can barely touch the arm rest with her fingers, so she has to bend or squat little bit to grab the arm rests when trying to sit down. (2) The bottom supports on the floor extend forward past the front of the commode. My wife tends to snag those with her feet when trying to position herself in front of the commode. Would be nice if those could be shortened so they don't go past the front of the bottom of the commode. Over all I am very pleased with this support system. It is strong, sturdy, and works. Ansich eine gute Idee
Aufbau war schnell erledigt und erstmal stabil. Das Problem besteht aber leider darin, dass die Weite/Lnge der Stabilisierungsstange unten zu gro war, so da sich nach kurzer Zeit auch die “Halteschrauben” fr die Toilette gelst haben. Hier musste dann gebastelt werden. Auch muss letztendndlich auch unten die Stange durch zustzliche Lcher verkrzt werden, da ansonsten fr meine Mutter (eine sehr schmale Person) die Armlehnen zu weit auseinanderstehen und ihr etwas helfen aber nicht nicht ideal sind (und sich hierdurch dann auch die “Halteschrauben” lockern”) Hier sollte vom Hersteller vielleicht einfach mal etwas nachgebessert werden.
Good robust frame
This was bought for my mother and is very successful. Unlike most similar frames I have seen it has braces at the side which you can adjust against the loo to stop it moving. It is very easy to set up and easily adjusted to get a good position.

King for your Throne - Very stable device
STURDY – Ideal for anyone’s throne where a need of assistive stability is needed. This is a well made – long term (hold for the next family member) item. Very happy so far with the usability of the item. No stability issues when getting up/down or applying pressure to just one side.
We did have a missing part (the tightening dial that adjusts the cup pressure against the bowl). But the manufacturer (in Valencia Spain) was prompt to respond to our email and promises to send the item soonest. Even with that part missing the device is still very stable. Will buy again if timing calls for another family member to need an assistive accessory like this.

The frame is very sturdy once set correctly. The assembly is a little tricky but not something that should worry you. All in all a brilliant product that works really well.

Arrived next day and well packaged. Easy and quick to assemble and install. Surprisingly sturdy. Purchased for a tall gentleman with reduced mobility, who found it very helpful to have installed and use. No drilling of walls or floors and easily moved or removed. Compr esta estructura para una persona mayor con problemas de movilidad y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. El montaje es muy sencillo y los materiales son de buena calidad, todo se ajusta perfectamente y es muy regulable tambin. A mi parecer tiene una pequea pega que sera sencilla de resolver por el fabricante: La barra inferior horizontal que se fija con la parte baja del inodoro tiene solo 2 posiciones de ajuste, que son las que van a determinar si la estructura cabe en un especio ajustado. Si en esta barra se hiciesen dos posiciones (agujeros de ajuste) ms hacia el interior, se podra reducir el espacio entre los brazos de la estructura, permitiendo que esta se ajustase sin problemas a indoros que se encuentran en espacios muy reducidos. An as yo la he ajustado desplazando todo el conjunto un poco hacia un lado y ha entrado bien y con muy buen ajuste gracias a los tornillos diagonales inferiores. Parece un poco cara a priori, pero en mi opinin pagas por su buena calidad y robustez, y te aseguras una buena compra que no te decepcionar. Solo hay que tener en cuenta las medidas de la estructura para ver si se va a poder ajustar bien a tu inodoro, como ya he mencionado anteriormente el montaje puede ir muy justo en espacios reducidos. Dicho lo cual, recomiendo su compra. Satisfaccin garantizada.

USEFUL AID
Having lost balance and muscle tone in legs, rising from the toilet was getting more difficult. This device has made this so much easier. Fitting is a bit fiddly but my wife managed it without too much trouble! I am a big bloke, over 20 stone and this frame accommodates me easily and I feel much more secure. Wish I had thought to get it sooner. I would recommend without hesitation.

I have one of those low toilets that is fixed to the wall, I already have to use a riser toilet seat. But my knees are getting so bad and being overweight it has been a struggle. I looked at lots of these support frames but it’s hard to find a strong sturdy one for my weight. Well this is it! Plenty of space for me to move, and it supported me to sit down and back up. I was nervous at first but it’s so sturdy, exceptionally well built and even looks quite smart. Very good value for the price.

Used in the downstairs toilet where my disabled wife had a fall recently. It is robust but still good looking, easy to assemble and adaptable. My wife feels completely safe using it and KMINA are really helpful.

Excellent product! High quality, well made, durable, heavy duty, easy to put together, and will be easy to store when not in use! I cannot say enough. I am a tall woman that Carrie’s her weight in the bottom and hips. I am 5″9 and 270 lbs. This is exactly what I wanted. I searched forever! I just happen to come across this unit, and decided to go for it! It is pricey, but I have not seen any other units like this. No tools are needed to put together. Very easy to put together. All I needed was the pictures to find out where the parts went. Took me about 15 minutes. I do work in healthcare, and I have an upcoming total right hip replacement. I am not a fan myself of portable potty chairs, especially when you have larger thighs. So I needed something that allowed room, does that make since. This is a great product, worth the money if it will last any years. I am confident it will. I can easily disassemble and store away till my next surgery. Knee replacement. If you are tall, and want a quality toilet Riser, go with the Bemis toilet seat!! Sorry about construction in background, bathroom redo because of condo unit above and water!
Perfect toilet frame!!
I searched for ages looking for a toilet frame for my elderly mum who just had a total knee replacement surgery. This has been an amazing adaptation to the toilet. It attaches securely onto the toilet frame which makes it more sturdy and stable then the freestanding options in the market. My mum feels very confident and secure using it. I honestly couldn’t recommend this more. So much so I’ve ordered another one for the downstairs bathroom. Highly recommend this!!

This is finally our answer for a family member who needs a safety rail to independently stand up from the toilet. The issue in our situation is that he must use only one arm to push up and other frames sometimes tip to the side when equal pressure is not used on both sides. If you have a stroke patient, an amputee, shoulder surgery or other condition that requires you to use unequal pressure on one side to stand, this is your answer. In addition, of all of the aids that I have had to put together over the last year this was hands down the simplest. I am elderly and small and I snapped it together in 10 minutes or less. I can’t add a photo that is any better than the ones that come with the description. Look around, I found as much as $100 difference in price for the same item by the same manufacturer. It is more expensive than other toilet frames but worth every penny. Despite how it might look, with two easy adjustments it is very easily removed from around the toilet for mopping the floor and cleaning the toilet.
This was our 3rd try at toilet rails and this is it. It also adjusts to a good height of 31″ if needed. We have a high toilet, a 3″ riser, and a bidet on top and this is also the only frame that had an arm that is high enough.

Unlike May’s government, this toilet frame really IS is strong and stable, and also easily adjustable to any toilet you may have.
Feels very sturdy, doesn’t move when fitted.
Assembly tip tube liners – need to align properly inside tubes with bolt holes to allow efficient assembly.
Assembly tip – the cross bar in front of the toilet can be fitted horizontally or at an angle of 45 degrees depending on size / external profile of the toilet to obtain the best fit. There is no way of telling which is the right or left side of the bar. If you can’t get it to fit to your satisfaction just turn the cross bar over and try again. As indicated above it’s essential to ensure that tube liners are in their correct position.

I got this for my 94 year old father. It put together well and seems very strong. Unfortunately he hasn’t used it yet as he has broken his hip
I don’t however forsee any problems with him using it as it’s substantially made

Easy to assemble, nice fit to the toilet. Sturdy and doesn’t slide around like the other frames. My mother has Parkinson’s so this keeps her steady and upright while she is using the toilet.

Le ha gustado ms que las barras fijas a la pared. Recomendable sin duda alguna, adaptada tanto para una persona corpulenta como es ella, como para otra que no lo sea. Adems, el espacio del que dispona en los laterales, uno de ellos, demasiado estrecho, no ha sido inconveniente. Be careful when lifting the box as this is exceptionally heavy. It’s not too hard to set up and offers great stability and support for those who find getting on and off the toilet a bit of a struggle. It’s secure and doesn’t move, so it’s reassuring when being used. Easy to clean and maintain. Great item.
He comprado esta estructura para mis abuelos porque les cuesta mucho caminar y valerse por ellos mismos. Tena la duda de si me iba a valer porque el bao es bastante pequeo, pero entr a la perfeccin y lo usan sin ningn problema. Bastante bueno porque parece muy estable y seguro y tambin sirve para baos pequeos. Genial.
