Looks great at nigh
I’ve had a few of these spike lights in my garden for just over 3 years now. It’s held up great. They have a solid build quality and really make a nice atmosphere in the garden at night.
Ok
Its a good light once you fit your own plug to the cable, which is only a short cable and lucky we had a bulb to fit it in the cupboard.
Would have been nice to have a decent cable length, a plug and a bulb though
Not much more to say, they feel sturdy, they’re heavy and they look good. Time will tell whether it keeps the water out after a full rain season but so far so good.
Good outdoor wall lights
Use these mounted to a fence, they look great and feel well constructed and will withstand the elements.
Being solid metal using “smart bulbs” like Philips hue in them can be problematic – it does considerably reduce the effective range of the Zigbee lighting – obviously a consideration if using them with smart bulbs but not with normal LED GU10s
Only small negative is there is very little space in the back with the connector block which makes installation tricky especially if you have more than one cable entering the fixture but overall a great simple light fixture that looks like similar ones costing far more.
Okay Light Fitting
Great value for money lamp holder if you want to use your own gu10 lamps. Wiring block small and fiddly and the screw fit fronts were poorly finished with sharp edges inside. Not bad by any means, but you can get better quality fixtures.
Up Down Wall Lights
I am very pleased with these lights. They feel very well made and have a good amount of weight to them. Being IP65 rated each end of the lamp has a clear rubber ‘O’ ring which should inhibit water getting onto the lamp. Once open, easily done by twisting the lens case, it is quite an easy task to install the led bulb.
Installing was also straight forward, with a good length of wire available to connect to and once installed the lamps can also be rotated 90 degrees, either the left or right, so the lamp can shine horizontally if desired. Personally I preferred them to shine vertically as shown in my photo.
All in all I would have no problem in recommending these lamps.

Great garden directional lights
Solid build, easy to install (assuming you know what you are doing), pick your own bulbs so you can decide beam width and wattage for best lighting requirements for you individual garde
They are good quality fittings with a solid GU10 base connector, the luminare comes apart in multiple places to assist with installation and lamp changing.
When installing you do need to be careful not to damage the connections inside when putting back together due to how it is assembled as you can easily damage them if not careful, also worth using LED or SMD lamps as they produce less heat.
The base is already tight on space so if installing multiple it’s best to use a suitable junction box rather than try to have multiple cables enter the fitting.

very robust and well constructed light fitting, spot on…literally lol. I use GU10 LED lamps and perfect for customer I fitted them for. Would definitely buy again and highly recommended

Seems like good value for money. I didn’t install them as the sparky did but they look great on the front of my house.

Seems Very Weatherproof
The light is fitted outside with no cover from the elements. In two years there is no sign of water ingress but the base was carefully sealed when it was fitted.
I bought these for our BBQ/decking area. They are lovely looking and have gone up well. Hubby says they could be brighter for the area, but he would have a set of lights to rival Old Trafford if I let him. I on the other hand haven’t had any trouble when he allows me to BBQ, and the neighbours are happier with my choice rather than his.

Outdoor post lights
Very well made, would buy this light any day again.
I recently bought two of these to light an outside yard attached to a terraced house. I didn’t want to have bright lighting, just enough to illuminate the area so when I came home at night, the area was lit rather than being pitch black. I’d recently put a similar light up on the rear garage and was actually very surprised by how much light you could get from an LED bulb!
Was looking for something that would take a 1.2w LED GU10 bulb so that I could basically connect it to a dusk/dawn sensor and leave it to its own devices.This light fitting was perfect, allowing easy install and the ball joint allows you to direct the light to just where you need it. Although essentially a spot bulb, it easily meets my needs by scattering the light over a large area as it hits the concrete yard.
My only complaint is nothing to do with the light fitting, rather the bulb itself. After fitting and power returned, when turned off, the LED bulb glows slightly! Searching on Google revealed that when LED bulbs are connected to two-way switching, capacitance in the cables can generate sufficient power to light the bulb slightly even when turned off. Other articles suggested that should I install the second fitting, this issue will probably disappear and is not dangerous in any way.
Overall, a well made fitting, easy to install, with full angle adjustability. Highly recommended.
