Superb
This humidifier is superb and I would recommend it without hesitation. It’s very quiet indeed and I’m sensitive to extraneous noise. It’s got a very large tank which means that you don’t have to refill it so often. It looks quite attractive and is much easier to clean than previous humidifiers that I have owned.
I like that it’s shutting off automatically and remote control too is very useful.

Great large capacity humidifier which has 8L storage. Not need it at the moment but had issue last year when needed none was available on hot time of the year.
Currently rainy season and not much use but on hot summer days it’s life saver, critically, considering my Conservatorium gets quite hot men direct sunlight is on.
Easy to control and has automatic humidity settings which ideal to keep the room under the control.
Also came with remote control which quite handy but can be all functions access from direct machine as well.
Power can be regulated in 3 stages and timer also can be placed.
Overall nice big humidifier, have a look at my picture to see a real size. Hope it will be helpful to decide if it’s a suitable for personal needs or not.
We were constantly getting static shocks in the office, and after looking online for the cause and potential remedies we came across articles stating that it could be down to dry air (amongst a couple of other things) and a humidifier would help. We purchased this model and since the day we plugged it in no one has had a static shock, not one! Safe to say it has to be down to this product.
Delivery and service were also great. Would recommend to anyone who is getting static shocks in their home or office.

I'm very happy with this Humidifier, very easy to set up and directions easy to follow.
I liked how simple it is to operate. My only suggestions are: its a little bit tricky to fill with water, it could be improved if a suitable funnel for filling was included as it sometimes splashes out over the top rim if you have a shaky hand or poor vision
Also if it were on wheels it would be great as I like to move it from to room and its quite heavy especially when its full of water
Having said all that I am still very happy as it has helped my breathing and improved my cough especially during the night, I would recommend this produc

his humidifier is really easy to set up, easy to use and works really well. no noise comes from it even when it’s not on sleep mode, the timer goes up to 12hrs, it has 3 steam levels to choose from, a uv light to help kill bacteria and also comes with a sponge to clean it.
the instruction manual is helpful, although you hardly need it due to it being so easy to set up! i’m useless and even i did it.
only thing is i can’t get the remote to open to get a battery in it, but that’s probably just my issue. other than that it’s a perfect appliance.

Best humidifier I've used
Provides everythink you’d need from a humidifier and isnt massively noisy. The built in humidistat allows you to leave it on without worrying about over-humidifying your room, you can set it up to 90% humidity though so you can even use it for a tropical plant room if you wanted. The UV light eliminates the major problem with bacteria that most humidifiers of this type have and cleaning it is actually very easy. Plus you can use tap water instead of distilled water which saves you a fortune.

Filling it up with water couldn’t be easier but does require a little patience as you can’t pour it too fast unless you want to clean up the spillage! All in all a really good device, never heard of the brand until now but given it’s great packaging upon arrival and good build quality I’d look for this brand again for sure.

Smart and effective
Early days but it looks very smart and seems very effective. It has a good automated mode so that it can be left on, on the basis that it will provide a blast of moisturised air when the humidity level drops below a threshold set by the user. Very suitable for use in a room containing a piano or other instruments requiring a minimum humidity level.
I have tried many humidifiers in the last 6 years, but this one is just amazing. The things that are making it amazing are that is really quite, big water reservoir and the uv sterilisation, that eliminates the big issues that usually humidifiers can produce, which are bacteri and fungus. Is really easy to clean, but to be fair in the last month i didn’t had to do it not even once and all my plants are loving it. Definitely recommend it!
Fantastic capacity, which means you can relax with constantly re filling it. Mist shoots up high which reaches my plants perfectly. Very low noise and slender stature which slides in nicely behind my plants without being seen that much. Easy to move around and easy to refill. It’s now my favourite humidifier I own! And I own a few ! My plants love it.

I presume if you are on the market for a humidifier, you have a goo idea what you after – right? You have a dry room, especially once central heating kicks in and you need to have your rads on, but do not want your plastering to start cracking or nose feel stuffed and eyes dry, right? You are after bringing a mousture back into your room! Now, this is a big daddy! I mean I put it on in my bedroom ( albeit it is only a small room) and although it looked amazing and did do a trick on the lowest setting, after a while you find your windws dripping, so….let’s just say it is not for tiny spaces! For a bigger room, especially one where you have some living plants – absolutey perfect! I have two devices in my living room – an air purifier and this baby and I must admit they do create a lovely atmosphere and this is almost the only place in the house where I feel I can breathe in full! So, it is a well designed and a well made device that will work on one tank for up to 36 hours, and that is a long time in comparison to others I have had, it is best for a larger space and make a real difference almost at an instant! So, if you know what to expect, you will get all that an maybe a bit more ( with the essential oils function that is). Bottom line – a reliable device!
Decent and fairly quiet floor-standing room humidifie
We’ve been using this humidifier for a few weeks now and on the whole, it’s not bad at all. Quite a tall unit it is likely intended as a floor-standing unit which is how we have ours placed. This helps it to avoid the close-proximity dampness that can often occur with compact units.
When you turn the unit on you get a humidity percentage shown for what the unit believes your current room is sitting at, and you can optionally set the unit to a desired humidity level whereby it will turn itself on and off in order to maintain that level – which is how I like to use it.
I had thought that my specific room might have been too dry and was the reason why some of my plants were not doing so well, but it turns out it’s not bad at all, either way, I like to target around 58% humidity.
This unit has a little pop out tray on the side that you can use with essential oils to help scent the vapour – although they suggest you use a cotton pad with oil drops on it, rather than put the oil directly in the drawer. I’ve not used this drawer yet.
Noise-wise it’s fairly quiet – quieter than a smaller humidifier I also possess, and I could imagine that I would be able to sleep through this one if I ever choose to put it in my bedroom.
When running at full-chat there is a noticeable and steady stream of mist emitted from the vent at the top.
One possible downside is that the device won’t return to its previous state from power off/on, so there is no way you could incorporate it into a smart home by way of a wifi plug for example. That’s a minor shame as I’d have liked to be able to do that.
Overall, for a floor-standing humidifier that seems to be fairly effective, I like it.

It is not too overpowering, and I love not having to light a joss stick or candle to get the relaxing scent into the room.

Music rooms with pianos or other instruments is a must to help replace the moisture that can help prevent damage due to central heating systems. Arrives in a plain cardboard box. Inside there is a clam-shell of polystyrene, its unfortunate that we still use so much of this, yes it does protect fragile things for a negligible addition of shipping weight, but its next to impossible to recycle & is bulky in the trash.
The Lacidoll Large Humidifier is a sleek looking unit. It stands about 2′ tall & is about 11″ wide at the base.
Its exterior is made from ABS [Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene] plastic which has good rigidity, impact resistance & a nice smooth surface appearance. On the front top section there is a touch button control panel with a digital display.
One of the things I’m not keen on is where the power lead connects to the unit. It connects about ‘s of the way up. I know they’ve done this so the power cable isn’t running along/next to the water tank, but it does mean you have a power cable dangling in midair, this not only looks aesthetically unpleasant but if you have small children, pets, or are just not paying attention then its a snagging issue where the cable could get snagged & cause the unit to tip over, spilling the water. This is compounded by the cable being relatively short, so if you having it sitting away from the wall; to get better coverage in a space, the cable isn’t long enough to reach the floor before getting to the socket, so you may want to plug it into an extension socket.
The unit itself comes assembled & set is is very simple. But as always its worth while familiarising yourself with the enclosed instructions.
The internal water tank holds 8 litres [just over 14 imperial pints]so that will add 8kg [1 stone] to the units weight of 3.44kg [ stone]. This may make it awkward to move when full, but luckily its easy to fill or top up in situ by either taking off the lid, or just pouring water on the top… being careful not to pour water into the vapour outlet.
With a full tank the unit could run for 36 hours at maximum output, though as well as being able to set that output it has built in sensors that will halt the output once a level of humidity has been reached & then keep it at that. [Maybe I’m missing something here but the max output is 300ml/h, so at 8l [8000ml] tank capacity shouldn’t that be 26.6 hours?]
In operation its very quiet, [35dB, a human whisper is rated at 25dB & a standard refrigerator is 55dB] so it shouldn’t disturb your sleep. There is also a “Night Mode” where the unit still runs but the display panel will turn off.
The unit has three output modes, low, medium & high & is suitable to humidify an area of 500 ft2. For reference the average size of a UK one to two bed-roomed house is 828 ft2 so it should be able to cope with most UK rooms.
There is also a little tray where you can add essential oils [on a piece of folded cloth/tissue/cotton wool that you supply. This permeates with the mist so you can fragrance your room for freshness or other oils to aid things like relaxation.
I’ve had mine running in a room near some plants that don’t like dry conditions & they’ve been benefiting from it, looking lush in this very hot & dry weather over the last month. The house also feels much more comfortable with it running & smelling nicely with the oils I’ve been adding. Other than that I don’t realise its running as its so quiet… I live in a quiet rural area & usually running machines are noticeable especially at night.
As the climate warms up [unfortunately] the lack of air-con in most UK houses is becoming more noticeable, so running a humidifier is a good & relatively cost effective way to combat this.
The unit is also easy to maintain, it has an auto shut off so that it wont be damaged if it runs out of water & cleaning is simple, just give it the odd wipe down inside when its out of water.
I’m really happy with mine, easy to live with, makes the house more bearable in the summer heat & it looks nice with its unobtrusive looks; I’ve found many large room humidifiers look quite industrial, this fits in the house nicely.

It was tricky to get out of the box at first, so I would recommend lying it down and pulling it out along the floor for safety. Once I unpacked it I was very impressed with the build quality, colour and structure of the device. The design is very nice too and won’t stand out or be an intrusion in any room. I inserted the components as the instructions say to and filled the water tank to the level. I turned on the humidifier with ease. The controls are simple and easy to use and it comes with a remote control too. The effects of the mist are instant and cooling. We also used some essential oils. We placed a few drops of lavender oil on some cotton and placed it in the compartment for oils this gave a fantastic relaxing aroma throughout the room.

It’s been over a week since we have used this powerful humidifier and so far we are very pleased with it.
My wife has quite an impressive garden indoors and the plants seem to like the water mist and also our two dogs seemed to bear the hot days more easily.
This humidifier it’s an absolute beast, it’s nothing like the small oil diffusers we have. My wife loves oil diffusers and she was excited to find out that she can add essential oils into this humidifier.
When it is on high setting for a couple of hours it manages to increase the humidity all over the ground floor and also spread a nice scent from the essential oils which is pretty impressive.
This humidifier it’s very easy to use and has a stylish and modern look.
The remote control it’s a bonus but not very necessary as you just have to set it according to your preferences and let it do its job.
Although it’s large, it’s very lightweight but it gets a bit heavy when filled up with water.

This is a physically big item so if buying please be aware of it’s size. Very much for a large room or office. Too big for a standard sized living room. However it is marketed as a large item so that’s ok.
Arrived well packed, good instructions. Easy to set up and get going. Probably wrong week to test this as in the last week the temperature has been over 30c. However we found that this humidifier to help with the air quality it was certainly much easier to breath and the air felt less heavy, hopefully that makes sense ?
This item comes with easy to understand instructions plus remote controller. There is also a touch screen controller too. With on/off button, a mist button with three levels of power, low medium and high, a UV button, a timer button and finally a nighttime mode.
The water tank is massive. Plus there is a drawer for fragrances.

This is a physically big item so if buying please be aware of it’s size. Very much for a large room or office. Too big for a standard sized living room. However it is marketed as a large item so that’s ok.
Arrived well packed, good instructions. Easy to set up and get going. Probably wrong week to test this as in the last week the temperature has been over 30c. However we found that this humidifier to help with the air quality it was certainly much easier to breath and the air felt less heavy, hopefully that makes sense ?
This item comes with easy to understand instructions plus remote controller. There is also a touch screen controller too. With on/off button, a mist button with three levels of power, low medium and high, a UV button, a timer button and finally a nighttime mode.
The water tank is massive. Plus there is a drawer for fragrances.
Best for office rather than home in my view.

Really good quality, helps with hay fever , easy to use and fill
This is a very good quality humidifier with a large 8l capacity tank , it’s top fill too so it is very easy to fill.
I like that it has a built in humidistat to detect the humidity in the air to keep it at your preferred humidity.
In this recent heatwave I’ve definitely felt the benefits of using this humidifier, I suffer with really bad hay fever which had gotten really bad due to all the local grass being cut after a long time , this has improved my dry itchy throat and nose at night, I’m not waking up with dry lips and throat every morning, so it definitely helps if you suffer with allergies.
It’s quite a big unit but lighter than i thought, it’s quite heavy when full though so best moving it into the place you want it before filling with water.
It’s very well made and has a sleek design, it’s easy to fill with a wide opening and it’s easy to clean when needed, I like that it isn’t really loud too like the last one we had so it doesn’t disturb you when drifting off to sleep or relaxing, reading.
The LCD display is clear , you can read the current humidity level easily and clearly, the display will shut off on sleep mode so there’s no constant bright light or anything to disturb you.
Overall it’s a good humidifier, I like the tall sleek design , it’s easy to fill and maintain and it has many benefits , it helps with my dry itchy cough from hay fever.
Over the past week the temperature has topped 31*C so I expected this humidifier to help with the air, making it less heavy to breathe but even in a room with the door closed, the curtains pulled and the mist on high it still didn’t do as good a job as I expected it to.
It comes with easy to understand instructions and a remote. The remote has exactly the same buttons on as the touch screen on the main body. There is an on/off button, a mist button with three levels of power, low medium and high, a UV button but I didn’t think it made any difference as to whether it was on or not, a timer button with hourly increments up to 12, a nighttime mode button to turn off the touchscreen display, and a humidity button that goes up in increments of 5 from 40 to 90%. The water tank can be filled by lifting the motor part off the mail body but there is an easier way if you prefer by pouring onto the black dome. It flows over it and down the edges into the base water reservoir. It also has a small drawer that can hold a small sponge for fragrances.
It worked perfectly fine but I would have liked the mist to have been blown a little further up into the air so that it could circulate more. It doesn’t say to but I put ice in the water to make it cooler and it seemed to lift the mist a little higher. I had to have a fan beside it blowing the mist around the room. We tried it in our child’s bedroom and it seemed to work better, possibly because there was no movement in the room who knows.
Needs to have a more powerful mist.

I am very pleased with this large humidifier. I have been having it switched on in my living room where it is also home to my three parrots. Lately I have noticed they have been having very dry looking feathers, and within the week I have been using it I have noticed a big change in the look and feel of their feathers.
I like the aromatherapy tray, and I have been using a few drops of lemon balm on some cotton wool. The smell is very very subtle so not to overpowering.
It holds a lot of water and in operation it is so quiet I forget it is on. It can be used with the included remote control with ease.
It is a nice machine and I am really pleased with this product, I highly recommend.

Humidity acts as a natural moisturizing agent that can relieve dryness. For this reason, humidifiers are often used for relieving:
dry skin
sinus congestion/headache
dry throat
nose irritation
bloody noses
irritated vocal cords
dry cough
cracked lips
You may be prone to these discomforts when the air in your home is dry. This is especially common during winter months or when an air conditioner is being used during the summer. In UK homes, air conditioners are relatively rare so the actual need for a humidifier is probably less than it would be in hotter countries. This is my first experience of using one in the home, despite my advanced years.
Upon delivery, I couldn’t help but notice how light the box was, despite the device’s considerable size – it’s 28 inches tall, or just under 72cm. But once filled with water, that weight changes a lot, so much so that some users might want to fill the device ‘in situ’ rather than – as I did – fill it in the kitchen and then carry the now much heavier product to where I wanted to put it. I think it’s fair to say that while it’s not exactly like carrying a 72cm block of concrete around, it needs to be carried around with care once full of water because if you were to drop it or fall over, you could hurt yourself and you’d make a fair old mess with 8 litres of water all over the floor. Anyway, in my case there were no mishaps and it was positioned near the desk in my ‘home office’.
In the current environment – temperatures of about 22 degs C and average-to-low humidity – I didn’t find that the benefits blew me away exactly. I could certainly see a continuous steam of water vapour, of course, and a very subtle cooling effect that seemed to be felt mostly on my scalp, but it wasn’t long before I forgot that the humidifier was in use. I left it on all night, and slightly disappointingly when I awoke 8 hours later, my throat was drier than it normally is at that time. The dryness went away within a few minutes though. So all-in-all, I was slightly underwhelmed, although I appreciate that those with some of the symptoms I listed above might have a different point of view. Personally I have none of those problems at the present time, and by this I mean both before and after using the humidifier.
Things perked up, however, when I bought some essential oils. I have never used such things in my life before, but after doing some research and learning about some of the (claimed) benefits as reduction of stress and anxiety – two things I do suffer from – I took the plunge and ordered a gift set for myself, comprising 14 different types. I haven’t tried them all yet, but I have experimented with lavender, tea-tree and grapefruit and I must concede that the results have been pleasant and satisfactory. The humidifier has a tiny tray in one side into which a few drops of essential oil can be – well, dropped I suppose.
So by using essential oils, for me this humidifier is beginning to make sense, or should I say I am starting to actually notice the benefits. It’s very hard to measure any reduction in stress levels – time will tell – but I’m optimistic that the claims are well-founded.
It’s a classy-looking device, the Lacidoll Large Humidifier, and seems to be a bit on the pricey side compared to some of its more plasticky peers, but I do like it and while I’m not quite an aromatherapy convert yet, I do find myself switching this thing on more often than I might have expected, and it’s true to say that when used with essential oils, anyone entering my room usually comments “hmm, it smells really nice in here!”, which makes me wonder what they used to think before I got the humidifier but I’ll take those comments as testimony to this product being a worthwhile investment.

This dehumidifier is very sleek and quiet when in operation, it can hold up to 8 litres of water in the tank, which you can fill using the wee hole in the lid (once lifted off) or by removing the top half of the dehumidifier
The dehumidifier has 3 settings, low, medium and high mist and has an LED display so you can see the current humidity levels and settings, it can be worked using the remote control or by pressing the buttons on the front of it
There is a small drawer at the back, this can be removed to place essential oil in, it’s best to put a few drops on a piece of cotton wool or tissue though and not directly into the drawer, this will emit a lovely aroma when you have the dehumidifier on
It’s suggested that you empty out the dehumidifier around once a week and clean the inside with the sponge provided or with a wet cloth
This dehumidifier does not need replacement filters which is good and it will automatically shut off if it was to run out of water
The dehumidifier comes with a 3 pin plug which is attached
I think this dehumidifier looks great and will fit in easily with most decors. It has a sleep mode and should help with getting a peaceful night’s sleep, it’s pretty quiet so shouldn’t disturb you
I’ve got mine placed in the living room and use a few drops of aromatherapy oil (on a small piece of cotton wool) this helps me to relax in the evenings

I was not able to test this humidifier at the best time of year, really as I would have liked to have put it through its paces with the heating full on when the atmosphere tends to dry out . However, I wanted to give it a go and I put it in my bedroom to use overnight. It is filled at the top and takes 8 litres of water. It is nice and quiet and I found it did not disturb my sleep with any noise and I set it quite high, although I do not think I would generally need to run it as high. In the morning this neat machine had certainly done its job and I noticed a very fine layer of moisture on the laminate floor. I think when the air is dry this machine will certainly keep things far more comfortable and help avoid dry eyes and throats. I have tried a couple of other types of humidifier, but in my view, this one is better than either of them.

Quiet performer.
Quiet and automated humidifier.Very little noise and any vibrations whatsoever. Large capacity tank. Easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to operate – both panel and remote controller very intuitive. Low cost maintenance model unit. Quality feels bit plastic composite with satisfactory finish in sections but can be bit brittle in places due to manufacturer construct and build specifications so caution is advised during any service activities. No additional safety features available preventing children access to main unit internals while operational but this is individual matter. Accuracy +-5%, daily output rate is satisfactory. Overall, if you are after mains powered, large tank sized auto humidifier with remote control this could be the one to consider. Thanks.
