Well made, looks great on my patio, can be left out all year round comes with a cover, l recommend you buy the foam base, looks great with lights (sold separately) and you can buy cup holders for this hot tub too, great for a beer or two
Fun Fun Fun
Highly recommend!
*Update* – OMG Wow!!! Just tried the hot tub this morning in the heavy rain. Set at 31’C and it’s bliss. The two bubble settings are immense. The powerful one really does invigorate. I cannot believe I didn’t buy this years ago. 100% the best thing I have ever bought. The temp only dropped 1’C overnight (11hrs) when I turned the heater off. The foam panels are not only very comfortable but hold the heat remarkably. I am going to buy the extra thermal cover to go over and with a 40% heat loss on the cover and 40% with the foam it will stay warm all week without the heater on. I’m blown away. An amazing hot tub. Certainly no need to pay 5,000 or more. This is far capable of providing an immense massage without breaking the bank. I feel like a new person.
Arrived in huge box. Put together quickly. Appears very robust and solid. Instructions not that clear. However I rand the support line and found them helpful. I purchased some silver insulation matting to help with energy efficiency
Haven’t used it yet. It’s heats up quick. So much better than the inflatable type.
Only thing to inflate is the lid
This is so easy to install . I love it , the keyboard is so easy to use, and the instruction manual is easy to navigate,it also looks very nice. I am so pleased I bought this model, so much more people friendly than the last layzspa I had .
Wish I had one of these as a kid, just so brilliant to chill in the tub.
The bubbles are fab, it heats reasonably fast and the Helsinki has lots of room.
Heats from cold to around 28-29 in about 5-6 hrs with the lid on. It costs around 85p an hour to run the heater – obviously didn’t buy it expecting it to be free to run
So you can imagine 6ish a day to heat it which is a fair bit every week as the wife wants to use it EVERYDAY!. Purchased a thermal cover for it which does help alot. Keeps alot of the heat in and it means you can turn the heater off and it will only drop a degree or so over the course of a few hours.
If you are going to use it alot as my wife is! I’d suggest investing in a fixed / fibreglass style one rather than an inflatable. As I would imagine they are better insulated and such!
Over all a great buy, and very happy.
I’ve wanted one of these for so so so long, managed to persuade the hubby that I will have it for my birthday “lol”
It all came very well packaged, so went through all parts to make sure everything was was there, which it was.
Assembly of the spa pool was very quick and easy to follow with the step by step instruction booklet. All parts look to be made well as is the main body of the spa and pump/filtration unit. I like the fact that the pump for the bubble also doubled up as a pump to inflate the spa pool and it says to run the pump for about 5 mins and then finish off with the supplied hand pump to the mentioned bar, just so you don’t over inflate!
Once filled up and does take a little time to do, but once full we had it all running with bubbles and filtration going, you have to expect a little noise because of all the bubbles but that’s normal, the pump screen is easy to navigate and use, also has a couple of pockets on the top for your drinks so that’s also great! It has a timer you can set to have the heater working and you can set what temperature you want it at too. When starting the bubbles you can stop them at any time, but that does have a timer which is set to 30 mins and automatically stops after 30 mins.
We’ve had this up for a few months now and been in it many times night and day, we’ve not had to top it up with any air and have had no problems at all just lots of fun!
Great value for money, great time for all the family anytime of the year, if your brave enough lol
We’ve had a Miami hot tub for a few years and it’s been replaced a couple of times under warranty. The bestway support is excellent. However we decided to try this one out and a month in we’re very impressed. The construction of this tub uses paddle board technology and the walls are very sturdy and much stronger than the other single skin tubs. Everything about this tub is in a different league to the Miami.
The heater units are much better and don’t turn themselves off after 72 hours.
So far so good!
It has been few weeks now since we bought layz spa. And I was waiting to write a review. But man oh man. That is the best thing I have ever spend my money on. Perfect. Easy to assemble and enjoy. Kids love it. We love it. Our friends love it. (Not sure about the neighbors tho )
But yeah very happy. Great hut tub
Come it if you just physically shape it and make sure there’s enough air: although inflatable it looks rigid. The lid is great too, secures nicely and helps stop the heat escaping. This only took 2 hours to fill maybe not even that. Once full I shocked it and the put the lid on and left it 24 hours to heat up. Beware that initially it seemed like the pump was faulty as some water came out of the bottom of the pump but it stopped once the water level hit the second hole. This is great as you can have the jets separate to the heat, and the floor is really padded although it doesn’t look like it. All in all
It looks really good and
Im so glad I bought it. I’ve turned the temp down overnight to 28 from 38 but it’s been 6 hours and it’s only lost 2 degrees and it isn’t warm here in Scotland just now. Turn it back up in the morning for a couple of hours and start again.
Really pleased with it and Laz-e-spa were easy to contact about getting the warranty.
I read the reviews and were so mixed so took a chance.
It literally takes less than 15 minutes to erect and pump up.
The tub is actually very solid and the walls hardly move with the water. heated up from 15c to 40c overnight and hasn’t dropped below 38c since it’s been up.
I have put a twin 13 amp socket in for the pump and heater with RCD plus the RCD on the main cable itself so I have double protection should anything happen. Also run a new ring main on 4mm Twin & Earth cable through conduit to make it safe out in the rain.
I would highly recommend this hot tub to anyone who is looking for something a little larger than normal 4 person tub.
If you are going to build a decking platform for it to sit on make sure you put plenty of support posts in for your support especially in the centre section as that’s obviously where the weight will mostly be. Also make sure to put down a base protector rather than a tarp to cushion the floor a little and prevent damage.
Update 3July 2022:
Have now had this up for 9 weeks and no problems with it at all. Have it set on 38c and the only time it drops is when we’re in using it down to 36c.
Water is still crystal clear and pH alkaline and chlorine levels are all perfect.
I really couldn’t understand what people were moaning about with this Hot Tub.
People saying Lazy Spa wouldn’t guarantee it because it wasn’t purchased through them or an approved seller is BS. Ours is guaranteed and with the extra they give you for free. Couldn’t be happier.
Very impressed with this hot tub looks good very good size easy fit 4 people. Very sturdy and well paced lid which keeps heat over night. Water needs changinging every 3 weeks we order the thermal mat to go underneath the hot tub. Very happy with our purchase only thing make sure you test out as soon as you get it to check that there are no leeks and the heater works
Working long hours at a desk has opened up a world of aches which a hot bath just couldn’t fix. We managed to inflate and setup the tub within 45 minutes, which was a simple process, and was adding water shortly after.
Pros
– Thick pvc walls give it a sturdy premium feel.
– Easy to inflate & setup.
– High temperatures (40c) mean its great in winter too.
– Zero maintenance all-in-one pump, excluding water levels obviously.
– Easy to clean.
– Powerful bubbles to help loosen muscles.
– Little to no noise when idle.
Cons
– Rise in electricity bills, upto 2.00 a day when keeping it at (38C) . Although we turned it down to 20C Monday- Thursday and found the heaters rarely came on, which saved us alot midweek.
– Parts are a little expensive.
– No lights as standard.
We had to Google how to set it up and used YouTube quite a lot. Once it’s up, it’s amazing! It’s good size for 4, you can get 6 at a real push but comfortably 2 or 4. When there’s just us 2, it’s pure luxury. It’s quite load, but you can have it on different settings so you’ll get used to what level works for you. We really like that it has the water jets as these make it feel like a proper hot tub. The main advantage us you can take it down. You’d not be taking it down every weekend, but it’s nice to have some flexibility. It’s a huge hit, so glad we bought it!
The Helsinki was very easy to erect and then get pumping and heating. We were filling it up after about an hour and it then took 24 hours into Christmas Eve to get the temp to 38degs.Very sturdy and impressed with the pump/heater which is not too loud and works efficiently on a cold day/night. Comfortable inside cause you just float in the water it feels better than sitting in the proper hot tubs. The massage/bubbles work very well and makes you feel refreshed. We are still worried out the most efficient way to run it during the -degree nights and have wrapped a foil insulation around the outside and put the off cut in the cover and this has reduced the cost to about 5 a day keeping it at 38degs. Great product.
So glad we chose the square model
Lovely and spacious for 2 people and not too intimate with four. Good strong bubbles
Would recommend placing it on an insulated board and a mat to preserve some heat. Pump is a soft drone so not too annoying unless right outside bedroom window!!
It comes up to temperature quite quickly and holds its temperature when left on
37 38 39 is just lovely
the base is squishy and quite comfy. We have it on all the time and were in it on Xmas day!
Once inflated, surround is very sturdy and good to climb over. The lid might need pumping up occasionally but easy to do.
The Clips need to be done up tightly to avoid water pooling on the lid. This will happen if it’s not on a completely flat surface
All in all , very pleased, great Value for money and it has changed our leisure time for the better. Now we go in every evening instead of watching trashy TV, a perfect wind down before bed.
Perfect hot tube for home use, size is decent, easy to use, the best buy
I think at price I paid (680) was well worth it. For a home blow up hot rub it’s very sturdy. What I like the most is the narrow side. Other hot tubs you see have bouncy castle sides so ot takes up more space in your garden. This is 180cm in diameter and almost all of that is sitting room. The bubbles surpassed my expectations aswell, powerful and lots of them. If you’re looking to buy a hot tub, look no further. Didn’t take long to set up.
The hot tub was easy to set up, it’s very big and took a long time to fill,I used hot water through my boiler.
The edges are quite thin so making it,a spacious interior, and the wood effect fits well with my wooden pergola.
Very pleased at the moment.
We hired this for a weekend for 200 & found it could be bought for 800. We had it up & filled for a month in September & used it every day. It cost us 3-4 a day in electricity so have decided to drop it for a while so the grass beneath it recovers (it might not) It was easy to put up & take down. You need to check the chemicals every day & clean out the filter but it wasn’t too onerous (though I ruined a tshirt with chlorine bleach spots)
Ordered Sunday dinner time and arrived Monday tea time, really impressed with the quick delivery. Very easy to set up and can use straight away once it’s warmed and chemicals are in which takes around a day. Enjoyed for the first time last night and it works absolutely fine. Much more powerful and comfier than I thought it would be. Very very happy so far! Bargain price too, cheapest I could find for this make. Thanks!
Lazy spa are the best. We had to replace our other brand tub. Looks great, easy to clean filter, a more robust construction. You pay more but it is worth it.
I was reluctant to buy a lay z spa as I actually wanted a proper hard sided hot tub. As a quick fix we decided to buy this one, I’m impressed. It’s really big which is what I wanted as some of them look really small inside. I like that it doesn’t look like the traditional lay z spa, in fact a guest who came over didn’t realise it was an inflatable. They thought it was real wood. Takes a bit of time to heat up so you have to be prepared. But I would recommend it.
Bought this because it was better value than a staycation. The product is ideal for what we want. I would advise watching the YouTube video of how to set it up because the instructions aren’t that clear. The flexibility of being able to pack it away when we aren’t using it for a while is ideal.
Easy set up about 20 mins, however , takes a least 1.5 to 2 days to REALLY set it up by the time it’s hot, put the chemicals in, get the pH level right and let it settle. After that IT’S SUPERB
Had one before. That good and larger than most. Bought another.
We bought this after hiring one for the weekend. Wish we had done it years ago. This hot tub is brilliant, took us a few weeks to get the hang of using the chemicals but once we realised that having the ph right was the way to getting the chlorine correct. Make sure you order plenty of the dip sticks to test the water chemicals. We used a lot in the first few weeks. Don’t buy the expensive mats you can get them at DIY places for 1/2 the price.
We would pay a bit extra next time and get one with water jets not just bubbles as they are quieter. We use it everyday and our grandchildren love it. With our holidays being postponed it has brought us a lot of pleasure without leaving the house.
Absolutely brilliant product, quick and easy to assemble. Very pleased with our purchase
We love the lazy spa it is remarkably sturdy once heated is so great and the bubbles are fab!! Took about 30 mins to read the instructions and assemble! During lockdown has been a godsend. Only drawback is that it took longer to heat than anticipated but now it’s heated it can be put on a timer to top up when needed. Best pressie eve
Upgraded from a cheaper lazy spa and the difference is chalk and cheese. Has this running all winter and enjoyed it nearly every day. Totally different material than the normal ones. Basically…. just buy one!
Great hot tub. Best thing ever in cold Scotland. It keeps the temperature really good. Don’t but accessories through Denny though..they don’t fit the tub and they’re really really bad at they’re rerun policy. Can’t believe Amazon affiliate themselves with tha
Great value for money and looks like the real thing.
Very easy to assemble once I’d figured out which attachment to use to inflate !
My only concern and criticism is the name of Freeze Shield … that suggests to me that it’s protected at freezing point and in the original advert there was a suggestion it did go below freezing but when I got it and opened up the instructions it only goes down to 4 degrees. I bought this one especially so I could leave it out during winter, so not too happy about this!
I think the name is a misrepresentatio
It’s had a lot of use and looks very nice in the garden ( it actually does look like a wooden hot tub) It heats up quickly and is deep and roomy, a great buy all round
It is built using the tried an tested drop stitch technology that is used in the marine industry. This means that the walls have a narrow uniform profile. This gives the impression of a rigid wooden tub.
I feel it is the perfect size. It has a smaller water capacity to its larger brother the Monaco, which means that it copes better in winter given they both use the same size pump.
The pump itself also has a special feature that allows for winter use and will automatically start the pump heating if the pump is not running. This protects the pump from frost damage.
You can even screw in the optional lamp unit so you get a great effect at night. I have included a video of this.
Overall a great tub and do not hesitate to recommend it.
