Golden Review Award: 219 From Our UsersThe Lay Z Spa Helsinki is my favourite Lay Z Spa tub. These are great looking tubs. I love the wood effect. It gives it a premium feel. I actually hire these out and find them robust and get lots of great feedback from my customers.
It is built using the tried an tested drop stitch technology that is used in the marine industry. This means that the walls have a narrow uniform profile. This gives the impression of a rigid wooden tub.
I feel it is the perfect size. It has a smaller water capacity to its larger brother the Monaco, which means that it copes better in winter given they both use the same size pump.
The pump itself also has a special feature that allows for winter use and will automatically start the pump heating if the pump is not running. This protects the pump from frost damage.
You can even screw in the optional lamp unit so you get a great effect at night. I have included a video of this.
Overall a great tub and do not hesitate to recommend it.

What a Gem of a tub!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI got this as my grandchildren were coming to stay and I thought they’d enjoy it… they LOVED it, and so did the adults.
It’s had a lot of use and looks very nice in the garden ( it actually does look like a wooden hot tub) It heats up quickly and is deep and roomy, a great buy all round

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our Usersgood quality piece of kit, easy to set up and use (you will need to look at a few youtube videos on how to maintain the water), but the hot tub is great, heats well and is comfortable and a decent size, had 3 adults and 4 kids in it last week, a bit cosy, but fun.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersI brought this to replace my lazy spa Paris the wood effect outer looks a lot nicer, the floor inside the tub seems to be less slippery also as the walls are thinner it’s easier to get in and out, I like the chem connect as I can just pop in a couple of multi function tablets when needed, on the down side my lazy spa pillows and drinks holder do not fit this spa properly.

Great value for money and looks like the real thing.
Very easy to assemble once I’d figured out which attachment to use to inflate !
My only concern and criticism is the name of Freeze Shield … that suggests to me that it’s protected at freezing point and in the original advert there was a suggestion it did go below freezing but when I got it and opened up the instructions it only goes down to 4 degrees. I bought this one especially so I could leave it out during winter, so not too happy about this!
I think the name is a misrepresentatio

Great hot tub. Best thing ever in cold Scotland. It keeps the temperature really good. Don’t but accessories through Denny though..they don’t fit the tub and they’re really really bad at they’re rerun policy. Can’t believe Amazon affiliate themselves with tha

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWe had a Miami, we wanted to use it all year round,so we upgraded, now we can with the helsinki, easy to use, even can put it on timer when we are not in so it’s ready when we get home, looks lovely and fits in great with our garden, yet to use it when it’s very cold, just hoping we can sort out the frost shield element because we haven’t needed it yet.

    Lovely

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally Impressed. Easy to assemble. Looks good not like an inflatable at all which is what I wanted. Bubbles are perfect and it keeps warm and efficient. Fits x4 comfortably. It’s worth getting the extra insulation mat as this makes it comfortable when sitting inside. As the sides are rigid and sturdy it doesn’t feel at all like a blow up. Very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI cant find any faults. The hot tub took 10 minutes to set up, an hour to fill and the initial heating took 8 hours from 12’c to 36’C. The operation is incredible simple, the 87 jets are great and even the adding of chlorine etc is clear and easy. It really is one of the best value products I have ever bought.

Upgraded from a cheaper lazy spa and the difference is chalk and cheese. Has this running all winter and enjoyed it nearly every day. Totally different material than the normal ones. Basically…. just buy one!

We love the lazy spa it is remarkably sturdy once heated is so great and the bubbles are fab!! Took about 30 mins to read the instructions and assemble! During lockdown has been a godsend. Only drawback is that it took longer to heat than anticipated but now it’s heated it can be put on a timer to top up when needed. Best pressie eve

Lid was not staying fully pumped so seller sent brand new lid out within two days. Now very happy with purchase and the excellant after sales care from the seller. Thoroughly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThis is one of the best things we have ever bought iv fitted dozens for different people but fancied one ourselves absolutely very easy ,as it says on the box 4 easy steps on a hot day it was up and filling within 15 minutes with no problems it took me longer to get it out the box , it’s better than I thought I thought it might be hard on the floor but it’s very soft and comfortable in the base where you sit and the side are very sturdy as you can sit on the side or use the side as a handle to get in is great . The sides are much better than we thought they look so real just like wood , a very well built and sturdy Hot Tub I would well recommend this tub as I’m an Electrician I’m well used to wiring these type of tubs as they are very well made and come with everything you need apart from water love it love it love it I like it better than the hard tubs as it’s much more comfortable and soft the kids love it too I just can’t keep them out ( the only down fall is i can’t leave the kids on there own so I have to get back in , it’s a tuff life , so don’t think about it just do your self a favour and buy one you too will love yours I promise.

    Reliable and sturdy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWith just the 2 of us we can fully stretch out its massive, have had 5 in it very comfortably and does fit 7 when crossed legged. It’s super strong material and can sit on the side. The lid is good, very heavy needs two people to take on and off but not much you could do about that. Not to loud and can be kept on at night time just a humming sound when outdoors.

We bought this after hiring one for the weekend. Wish we had done it years ago. This hot tub is brilliant, took us a few weeks to get the hang of using the chemicals but once we realised that having the ph right was the way to getting the chlorine correct. Make sure you order plenty of the dip sticks to test the water chemicals. We used a lot in the first few weeks. Don’t buy the expensive mats you can get them at DIY places for 1/2 the price.

We would pay a bit extra next time and get one with water jets not just bubbles as they are quieter. We use it everyday and our grandchildren love it. With our holidays being postponed it has brought us a lot of pleasure without leaving the house.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe decided to buy an inflatable, plug and play spa to see if we used it enough to consider a hard spa. However, this spa is such good quality and so like a regular spa pool at a hotel goat I don’t think we will bother. It was so easy to assemble, very sturdy and so easy to maintain. The bubbles are very energetic and the 40 degree temperature is very soothing. We absolutely love it!

A lovely little bit of indulgence!

Easy set up about 20 mins, however , takes a least 1.5 to 2 days to REALLY set it up by the time it’s hot, put the chemicals in, get the pH level right and let it settle. After that IT’S SUPERB

Bought this because it was better value than a staycation. The product is ideal for what we want. I would advise watching the YouTube video of how to set it up because the instructions aren’t that clear. The flexibility of being able to pack it away when we aren’t using it for a while is ideal.

I was reluctant to buy a lay z spa as I actually wanted a proper hard sided hot tub. As a quick fix we decided to buy this one, I’m impressed. It’s really big which is what I wanted as some of them look really small inside. I like that it doesn’t look like the traditional lay z spa, in fact a guest who came over didn’t realise it was an inflatable. They thought it was real wood. Takes a bit of time to heat up so you have to be prepared. But I would recommend it.

Ordered Sunday dinner time and arrived Monday tea time, really impressed with the quick delivery. Very easy to set up and can use straight away once it’s warmed and chemicals are in which takes around a day. Enjoyed for the first time last night and it works absolutely fine. Much more powerful and comfier than I thought it would be. Very very happy so far! Bargain price too, cheapest I could find for this make. Thanks!

We hired this for a weekend for 200 & found it could be bought for 800. We had it up & filled for a month in September & used it every day. It cost us 3-4 a day in electricity so have decided to drop it for a while so the grass beneath it recovers (it might not) It was easy to put up & take down. You need to check the chemicals every day & clean out the filter but it wasn’t too onerous (though I ruined a tshirt with chlorine bleach spots)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery easy to set up and looks great, I set mine up on some 10mm play foam mats with a bit of spare waterproof laminate flooring foam underlay which is really comfortable when sat in Spa, and I bought a good quality patio table cover to go over the lot to help with the heating and it really helps, the heater is not on nowhere near as much as before, i also got a round swimming pool blue bubble wrap sheet for the water surface before the inflatable cover goes on just to help keep the temperature up when not in use. I am really glad I bought this Spa and would certainly recommend it, The thin wall design is a very good idea and makes the tub a nice size inside. Just take a bit of care setting it up and dont over inflate it and it works a treat.

Easy to set up and looks great.

The hot tub was easy to set up, it’s very big and took a long time to fill,I used hot water through my boiler.
The edges are quite thin so making it,a spacious interior, and the wood effect fits well with my wooden pergola.
    Very pleased at the moment.

I think at price I paid (680) was well worth it. For a home blow up hot rub it’s very sturdy. What I like the most is the narrow side. Other hot tubs you see have bouncy castle sides so ot takes up more space in your garden. This is 180cm in diameter and almost all of that is sitting room. The bubbles surpassed my expectations aswell, powerful and lots of them. If you’re looking to buy a hot tub, look no further. Didn’t take long to set up.

So glad we chose the square model
Lovely and spacious for 2 people and not too intimate with four. Good strong bubbles
Would recommend placing it on an insulated board and a mat to preserve some heat. Pump is a soft drone so not too annoying unless right outside bedroom window!!
It comes up to temperature quite quickly and holds its temperature when left on
    37 38 39 is just lovely
the base is squishy and quite comfy. We have it on all the time and were in it on Xmas day!
Once inflated, surround is very sturdy and good to climb over. The lid might need pumping up occasionally but easy to do.
The Clips need to be done up tightly to avoid water pooling on the lid. This will happen if it’s not on a completely flat surface
All in all , very pleased, great Value for money and it has changed our leisure time for the better. Now we go in every evening instead of watching trashy TV, a perfect wind down before bed.

The Helsinki was very easy to erect and then get pumping and heating. We were filling it up after about an hour and it then took 24 hours into Christmas Eve to get the temp to 38degs.Very sturdy and impressed with the pump/heater which is not too loud and works efficiently on a cold day/night. Comfortable inside cause you just float in the water it feels better than sitting in the proper hot tubs. The massage/bubbles work very well and makes you feel refreshed. We are still worried out the most efficient way to run it during the -degree nights and have wrapped a foil insulation around the outside and put the off cut in the cover and this has reduced the cost to about 5 a day keeping it at 38degs. Great product.

We had to Google how to set it up and used YouTube quite a lot. Once it’s up, it’s amazing! It’s good size for 4, you can get 6 at a real push but comfortably 2 or 4. When there’s just us 2, it’s pure luxury. It’s quite load, but you can have it on different settings so you’ll get used to what level works for you. We really like that it has the water jets as these make it feel like a proper hot tub. The main advantage us you can take it down. You’d not be taking it down every weekend, but it’s nice to have some flexibility. It’s a huge hit, so glad we bought it!

Working long hours at a desk has opened up a world of aches which a hot bath just couldn’t fix. We managed to inflate and setup the tub within 45 minutes, which was a simple process, and was adding water shortly after.

    Pros
    – Thick pvc walls give it a sturdy premium feel.
    – Easy to inflate & setup.
    – High temperatures (40c) mean its great in winter too.
    – Zero maintenance all-in-one pump, excluding water levels obviously.
    – Easy to clean.
    – Powerful bubbles to help loosen muscles.
    – Little to no noise when idle.

    Cons
    – Rise in electricity bills, upto 2.00 a day when keeping it at (38C) . Although we turned it down to 20C Monday- Thursday and found the heaters rarely came on, which saved us alot midweek.
    – Parts are a little expensive.
    – No lights as standard.
