    Stylish lightweight indoor planters
I have a couple of these now. So many good points – self watering, lightweight, contemporary design. Particularly good for larger plants where planter weight might be an issue along with cost. I live in a south facing flat and self watering has been a real benefit.

My only criticism relates to vertical height. The plant sits on a shelf within the pot. When potting plants on I had to fiddle around with the vertical height of the plant to ensure fresh compost could be placed under the plant.

As my plants mature I will move them onto these pots as they make maintenance easy, offer good value when compared to conventional planters and are lightweight.

    Highly recommended.

    Ottimi vasi

The plastic on the top lifts up and you pour the water down the tube. The premium ones have an open hole but this one you just lift the cap turn it then fill. It makes filling it super easy. It can hold alot of water so plants can last several weeks between watering. You can remove the drain plug on the bottom if you want to put it outside its just a coin or flat head screwdrive

This planter is well made. It's sturdy, light weight and stylist. I am using this planter with Lechuza Pon. It didn't take my Bird of Paradise must time to adapt to the Pon. I would recommend the product.

    Toller Pflanzentopf

    Super consigliato!

    Saves time for watering
I love Lechuza planters and this one was just the right size for my plant. Although the pon they gave you with it is not enough so if you want to use pon instead of potting soil, you need to buy more pon.
Otherwise perfect planter and all my plants love Lechuza.

    Pflanzenbewässerung in Modern :)

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased April 2019. For two years this has been mostly an outdoor planter. Sun, rain, freezing weather. It has not only endured it, but continues to look beautiful. I would heartily recommend Lechuza planters as production or decorative planters. Cleaning in between plantings with plain dish soap is just fine. The inner liner is very easy to clean with a cotton cloth and a toothbrush on the underside. The outside and insides do not scratch easily. I have moved multiple times and they are always easy to put together and change plants. The removable plugs allow me to use the planter in the greenhouse in winter if I need to.

    Tolles System
Man giet also lt.

Aufbau geht ganz schnell, einfach alles zamstecken.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersès pratique et esthétique

The Lechuza pots (small, medium and large) have been are the very best self-watering systems I have encountered. I bought cheaper ones which never worked. They may be a little more expensive but I believe this has to be weighed against purchasing new plants!
    I recommend you try one.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI could not have a houseplant without these pots! They save a lot of time and effort. My ferns appreciate a slow and steady tank to sip water from. All I do is fill each reservoir with water (can be tasky if you have a lot of them like I do) and it lasts between 1.5-3 weeks depending on the humidity and temp. I would recommend keeping the soil around the filler an inch or so lower than the rest to avoid debris from falling in when you fill it. These pots come in a lot of sizes and some cool designs. I never thought I would like a plastic pot. I prefer clay or something more natural. But these blow those pots away in ease and the plants love them. I need a Lechuza 60 or 70 but they stopped making them! I have a huge philodendron that needs a new pot. It is on a rolling stand in a giant clay pot. It is over 40 years old. I have the square basket weave pattern pot as well as several 21, 28 and 35s. I also have a couple small ones but I haven't used them yet. They all perform well. They can take a light fertilizer water. I would caution using too much. Salts could build up over time. A few of these pots are two-piece, and cleaning the reservoir is possible. You could also vacuum out the reservoirs on these bigger pots with a wet/dry vac if you ever suspected dirt or debris being in them.

Die Tpfe kamen dank Amazon schnell (sogar Same Day) und gefallen uns hervorragend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersTransformed me from Plant Killer to Plant Growe
I am so good at killing houseplants, that my husband banned me from buying any more, because he felt it was a cruel and unnatural death for the poor plants.
I was allowed to try again, just once, because I wanted to get some air purifying plants. So, I bought this, and a plant. 3 months later, and the plant is flourishing, and I’ve bought loads and loads more of these pots in all colours shapes and sizes.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy fiddle leaf fig loves these pots but needs a load more subtrate.
I bought this 28cm pot for my fiddle leaf fig which has outgrown its small Lechuza pot. I usually kill plants so I’ve been really impressed with how it’s grown in the Lechuza pot.

This model is pretty easy to assemble, similar to my previous version but without the removable liner.

The only disappointing thing is that last Lechuza pot I bought came with enough planting medium to fill around the plant completely but this one only comes with a tiny bag to go in the bottom. If you’re repotting from a smaller model you’ll need to order extra “PON” growing medium, or a bag of houseplant compost. I’m going to stick with the PON granule substrate as my plant really likes it but it’s quite expensive to fill a big pot like this and it’s not available on Amazon.

Very easy to assemble and after two months of watering like a normal pot plant through the soil the roots will have grown down through the pon layer into the water reservoir, after which you can just fill it up through the funnel on the side of the pot till the indicator shows max and you’re good for up to almost 3 months in the winter and 2 months in summer, it makes looking after your plants a doddle I have a 1.3 metre Kentia Palm happily growing in mine, 10/10 for looks and practicality

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe size and look of the planter is overall good. My plants do well it in. However, after using for approximately one month, I noticed a crack yesterday. It was on one side, horizontally. I would've never noticed it if I hadn't rubbed soil on the side. Dirt went into the crack and that's how I saw it; otherwise, I would've never seen that on my white planter. Mind you, I haven't moved my planter at all since I first potted it up. Material seems to deteriorate quickly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLachuza plastic po
Nice pot, well made and easy to assemble. Just be aware that this version does not have the removable liner like other versions/models, if that’s what you are looking for, and that it’s outer surface does not have a smooth high gloss, shiny surface, but instead has a slightly textured matte look and feel even for the white coloured pot.
But as it does not have the removable liner and pull up handles, the internal volume is bigger than the classico premium models.

After a year of use, I am super-pleased with the result. I bought two of those and the plants in them are looking very healthy, despite me neglecting them and being a terrible gardener. I just ordered and other 5 planters of the same brand (different style and colours) for an different area. The colour and finish is nice and even, the design is sharp and discrete, and the materials used are sturdy and sustainable. The Lechuza watering system is excellent and very very easy to set up.

Attractive pot with neat reservoir and indicator that really helps with correct watering – no flooding or wondering if it’s a bit dry. Mine is slightly out of round. The same pot is also available with a removable inner, which I would have preferred. It accepts a set of wheels that fit neatly underneath, which is very useful as this is heavy when planted up.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersKeep Your Plants from Dying!
Pricey but worth it! I love plants, but it is easy to forget to water them enough, especially if they are outdoors. Lechuza’s pots hold a reservoir of water and keep your plants watered so you don’t have to water them as often. This is especially nice, when you go on trips and can’t be there to water them every day.

You initially have to train your plants so make sure to read the instructions. You start by water your plants form the top like normal, but eventually you will only fill the reservoir. As to how often you have to fill the reservoir will depend on several factors such as how thirsty your plants are. For instance, I have one variety I can easily go a month without refilling the reservoir, while a thirstier variety requires weekly refilling.

Lechuzza offers a wide variety of planters. My favorite are the hanging baskets.

I waited a couple of months before writing this product review, as I was not sure about it initially. I did wonder whether I had just bought a rather expensive plastic pot; especially when most of the plant’s last remaining leaves dropped off soon after repotting! But I have been proven wrong! The rather old, unhealthy looking house plant has been transformed. It was great going away on holiday and coming back to a leaf covered plant. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLot of money, lot of po
I was looking for a large planter pot to transplant a large house plant that I have owned for many a year when I came upon Lechuza, which I had never heard of. As always I started researching the Company as their products are not what you would call cheap and found a lot of useful reviews and links to help me make an informed choice. As stated not cheap but when you consider a replacement cost for an established tall twenty year old house plant, then consider it more of an investment.
The product arrived well packaged with basic instruction for the assembly of the irrigation, although basic I had to re-read to fully understand. The finish to the planter is excellent as is just what I was looking for, my indoor house plant will now last another twenty years but hopefully not grow much more, at 43cm it’s a big pot.

Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersYou might say I gave my planter the extreme test. I had just purchased this planter and then had to leave for a month. I thought, "no problem" the planter reservoir is full. However, one slight problem... I live in a pretty dry climate. Long story short, within two weeks of my departure our summer temperatures shot to 100 and the water didn't last, almost everything died. Upon my return I replanted and then watched my water levels everyday over the next two weeks and learned how the planter responds in my climate. Now that I understand what it needs in my environment the planter works great. Yes, these planters are a bigger investment than your standard planters, but since I can wind up traveling two days to a week frequently (and sometimes longer) this meets my lifestyle. If I'll be away for longer than ten days I have someone come and fill the reservoirs or I can even take the planters to a friend to "babysit". The best thing is that I can keep my flowers and herbs happy and still be away. I have two planters now and will eventually get a third. The planters are of good quality and have a nice finished look. I just suggest you give yourself at least a week or two to learn how much water your planter requires in your climate.
