Very good sound – the on-screen set up wizard and paper user’s manual are poor, the CD player is sensitive and the slightest mark on a disc will cause it to stutter. But the sound is the bottom line and it’s terrific.

This is my first all in one HiFi, after years of standard style micro systems, and I’m not disappointed. I bought it purely to hook up to my laptop on my desk, as all of my music is stored there as FLAC or WAV files. Good that it’s got a proper Aux in. Setup is as simple as it gets, even for a technophobe like me, I’ve not even checked out the manual yet. Looked at the sound presets, but dived straight in to the equaliser and got things as I wanted. The unit sits on a shelf at head height, about 45cm in front of me, and the sound is superb. It really punches above its weight. My most listened to genres are Goa Psy Trance, Reggae and Avant Garde Electronica, with some classical & rock thrown in for good measure. It absolutely kills all of them. I was sceptical about the downward facing bass speaker, but it really does irs job well. Volume should be enough for anyone. Moving on, I delved into the DAB radio. Reception with the standard extendable antenna is faultless. Internet radio via Wifi is just as good. Internet & DAB were two things I never thought I’d use, but this has changed. Soooo pleased that I chose this particular unit. At the price, I’d be really surprised if there’s anything to beat it. I’ll totally recommend it.
Its a nice looking all in one unit with lots of features and a nice warm sound. Has a large speaker underneath along with the front speakers, which helps with the sound. Not tried Eternal connections but DAB and Internet radio plus CD.
Considerando che l’ennesimo prodotto acquistato, ricevitore dab + radio internet+lettore cd si segnala: – Comandi,meccanica, funzionamento parte CD ineccepibile; cosa rara – Gestione dab, radio internet ecc. nella norma; non si notano differenze di gestione con altre marche; tutti uguali. Suono. letto pareri molto positivi in merito ma personalmente ritengo il suono standard; n negativo n eccezzionale. Personalmente ho apparecchi della Imperial che suonano meglio ma dipende dai gusti. Il prezzo caro ma secondo me giustificato dal perfetto funzionamento della componentistica.

The closest you’ll get to a Bose in a cheaper version. Have to play with the graphics depending on what your playing, but am happy with it, the price is a little steep I feel, but am happy with it.
Great uni
Having not heard of Lemega I was very nervous about spending my hard earned on something just going off reviews. I was torn between some of the ”bigger” well known brands and the Lemega for quite some time.
After much reading and internet searching I decided to take the plunge and I am so glad I did, very easy set up, great sound and very nice appearance. I would expect Lemega to become a big name very soon based on this unit, highly recommend.

This was purchased to replace an old Sony Hi-Fi which has seen better days. So far the M5+ has met all my expectations, it is a very solid unit and appears to be very well constructed. Set up was very easy, much easier than it would seem to be in the manual. Sound reproduction is very good indeed on internet radio, cd, and USB. Very good value for what you get!

I’ve been looking for an internet radio for ages now because the Wife isn’t too impressed with the trailing wires that living in a black hole necessitates. But which one? I deliberated for ages and eventually went for this little beauty and I’m very glad I did. The sound is amazing, it’s easy to set up and use and it has everything I’m going to need. Even the fitted aerial picks up some DAB radio stations…..unbelievable! And even crackly FM. Living anywhere but here it’s probably just as amazing. I’d say go for this one.

This has brilliant sound. It is also extremely loud when cranked up. I had never heard of the brand before buying but am really glad that I took the chance and bought the unit. I have no regrets whatsoever. It was a replacement for an aged Bose Wave Radio that had no DAB feature, and which would have cost at least twice as much as this unit to replace with one that did have DAB. I can’t say that I have noticed any reduction in sound quality over the Bose. In addition I have internet radio and Bluetooth functions available as well if I choose to use them.
I replaced the telescopic aerial with a roof top DAB aerial to get better reception. This is very very easy to do, provided you have access to an F Connector Removal Tool (available on Amazon). You need the tool because the aerial connection is recessed and difficult to get at. With the tool it takes about 10 seconds to replace the aerial, so it is not worth struggling to try to do it without the tool.
I would throughly recommend this unit!

Ho acquistato LeMega M5 per regalarlo ad amico che compiva 60 anni, quindi non ho potuto provarlo al meglio.
Per quel poco che ho visto posso dire che il prodotto realizzato veramente bene e il suono riprodotto da una pennetta usb molto buono, pieno di dettagli e potente.
Veramente un bell” ogetto, consigliato!

I wanted to add a CD drive (don’t ask … !) to the capabilities of my Ruark R2: but the R5 costs a LOT of money, and so decided to try this M5+ as a cheaper (though not “cheap”) alternative. As the headline says, I’m impressed and glad I did.
I’ve had the M5+ only one day, and so cannot comment on its longevity: but I really like the retro styling (including the “analogue” clock face whilst on standby) and the construction looks to be of fine quality. The button presses are like BMW switchgear …
All of the setup worked easily straight out of the box: wifi wizard, internet radio set up, linking to Spotify via an iPhone.
Living in a block of apartments with a metal and concrete frame construction, DAB and FM radio reception has been problematical, including with the R2, hence the internet radio: but the M5+ finds very good DAB reception too!
Remote is good also.
The most important bit: sound quality?
Cannot fault it on any of the sound sources, including the CD drive, without yet trying any of the various equaliser settings. If anything, I prefer it to the R2, a good “clean” sound that easily fills a large room.
So, IMO, a quality device in its own right rather than a cheap(er) alternative to a more well known and more costly name.
I can – after one day, only – fully recommend the M5+, it is brilliant.
I must be a bit odd. I actually own the LeMega M4+ and the LeMega M5+ and, to be honest, I can’t see why they changed the location of the buttons from the top (M4+) to the fascia (M5+), because other than the colour of secondary parts, I can’t fathom what was the difference. Both sound great- far better than (I think) they have any right to sound, given their diminutive dimensions.
OK, so for both M5+ and M4+, what is GOOD?
1. Sound quality for what is, after all, a unit measuring just 35cm (long) by 12.5cm (high) by 21.5cm (deep). It’s excellent – and best once you’ve figured out the equaliser function.
2. Flexibility – it plays CDs, DAB, DAB+, FM, USB (so iPod and iPhone)
3. Connection to a wireless server on your PC (using any DNLA server such as Microsoft Media Player or (my fave) Squeezebox).
4. Construction quality. The veneer is real walnut – not a plastic wrap. The unit feels well made and solid.
5. The look. For me, at leat, I think it looks great.
6. The price. Very reasonable when compared to Pure and others.
7. After sales. The company do respond to emails and you can get spare remotes from Amazon at a very reasonable price.
What is NOT so good?
1. The remote control sensitivity. Mine needs to be on-axis and no more than 2m away to work.
2. The internet radio connection was recently changed (it connects via a portal). To LeMega’s credit, they found an alternative portal and the change was (mostly) seamless. But the new service does not allow the saving of custom stream addresses (for example those with passwords). So no more Calm Radio premium, and no more Whisperings PureStream for me, even though I paid for both streams. As a ‘Stop Press’, they have now (Aug 2019) re-added this facility with their new portal. I’ll update again once I can check that the new facility works as planned… Now on Jan 2020, I can confirm that it does. Bear in mind, though, that as it is portal based, if LeMega disappeared, then these custom streams would stop. The other functions should all work, though, including the radio, DAB, streaming etc.
3. The tablet or phone app ‘Undok’ which does work and let’s you control everything from your device, but is very clunky when compared to something like iPeng for Squeezebox.
4. The colour screen resolution is a tad lower than we expect these days. You can see each pixel.
But all in all, I really like both units. If I had a recommendation it would be for the M4+ just on price. It has the same power output, the same software and the same colour screen. And it sounds exactly the same as the M5+. The difference seems just to be secondary colour choices (less cream) on the M5+ and no preset buttons at the front of the M4+ (but no control buttons at the top of the M5+ either)
Both are a really solid choice. One reviewer commented on the max volume. Well, I can fill a room 5m by 3m with sound that is pleasing, and with the equaliser (there are both preset and individual bass and treble and loudness controls on the menu system) you can easily get a sound that either rocks or soothes, but certainly fills my room. It’s a 30W amp, and let’s not forget that this is a logarithmic scale. Twice as loud as 30W is NOT 60W, it’s 300W. I honestly think that 30W in such a small form-factor is great. My old Sharp GF-9191 from the 80s was the boombox everyone wanted- and it was 12W!!

Sound quality is amazing, easy to set up took a few seconds, easy to use the screen & menu navigation is easy to use & follow. The manual is a bit lengthy but covers everything you need to know about the system. The only disappointing part (for me) is the cd mode unfortunately it is basic compared to the other modes & doesn’t give any track information or artwork on the screen, just says trk1, cd mode & the date, for a system this expensive I’d have expected track information & artwork for that cd. Also it doesn’t play anything off my iPod mini in USB mode maybe that’s due to the age of the iPod rather than the actual system itself.
I Have had a number of “All-in-one’s” over recent years for our kitchen music centre from cheap to expensive and have found them all to be lacking in some way or another, from basic sound problems to irritating design shortfalls, then came the Lemega M5, the sound quality is very good and improved further with slight eq adjustments. As I have an outdoor aerial it was pleasing to find that the internal aerial could be removed for a connection via an F connector to my outdoor aerial and all the stations I wanted was well received, I didn’t use its own telescopic aerial so can’t comment on the reception there, I also am not interested in internet radio so cannot comment here either.
The display is a delight and has clear and precise info on the track being broadcast. One very small thing is, pressing and holding for a second or two the round function knob on the top turns the device off this is also the mute as well so if it’s not held long enough the sound is muted instead of turning off, slightly irritating but not a problem. As with a lot of modern electronic devices the instructions leave a lot to be desired, and could be improved. All in all this is the best for its size music centre I’ve owned and it gives pleasure every time I turn it o
Das Gert entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und meiner Erwartung. Ein groes Minus: Es gibt leider nur eine Bedienungsanleitung auf englisch. Die Bedienung auf dem Radio ist als Ersthilfe in deutscher Sprache.
Wann wird die Bedienungsanleitung auch auf Deutsch (evtl. im Internet) vorliegen?
Very well built and with all advertised features apparently working as described, so I’m well pleased with its performance in all respects: however I personally prefer the ‘ auna Connect CD ‘ which is also available via Amazon ( at slightly lower price ) and has very similar features. I cannot find fault with LEMEGA M5+ which I purchased to replace a ‘ Pure Avanti Flow ‘ that broke after many years of faithful service ; but the LEMEGA M5+ has more features and lacks nothing of significance that the the Avanti Flow had. Personally I prefer listening to my ‘ auna Connect CD ‘ ( is the sound quality of that a teeny bit better or more voluminous , or is it just my imagination ? ). Could the very much more expensive Evoke C-F6 really be of vastly better quality in some respect ? ~ I doubt it , but do not own one to be able to make a direct side by side comparison with LEMEGA M5+ .

Einbindung ist System war problemlos mglich, intuitive Menfhrung und ein Klang der gut ist, machen es ganz klar zur Kaufempfehlung.

Mein Vorposter B. Stark hat schon viel Aufschlussreiches ber den LeMega M5+ geschrieben, deshalb ergnze ich hier nur, oder schreibe Wahrnehmungen nieder die abweichen.
+ Verarbeitung, Materialien, Design:
Sehr gut bis ausgezeichnete Verarbeitung und Materialien. Design ist immer Geschmacksache, aber vielen wird der M5+ wohl gefallen. Das Retro-Design ist jedenfalls klug und modern interpretiert.
Der groe, schwarze Multifunktionsknopf am Gertedach ist diskutabel, einerseits ein originelles Feature (aber auch kein Alleinstellungsmerkmal), andererseits schrnkt er die Aufstellungsmglichkeiten des Radios ein.
Notiz am Rande:
Als eines der wenigen 2.1-Radios hat der M5+ einen Lautsprechergrill auch am Gerteboden, der den kleinen Subwoofer vor Beschdigung seiner Membran schtzt – dafr ein groes BRAVO! Man mchte meinen das dies eigentlich Standard sein sollte, ist es aber erstaunlicherweise nicht, auch bei meinen am Schluss genannten drei Alternativen hat nur das Hama einen geschtzten Subwoofer, in diesem Fall durch eine mit Abstandshaltern abgesetzte zweite Bodenplatte.
+ Einrichtung und Handling:
Durchwegs logisch mengefhrt und selbsterklrend, das Manual braucht man mit ein wenig technischer Vorbelastung kaum.
– IR-Fernbedienung:
Leider ein qualitativer Schwachpunkt, da aus billigem Plastik und zu wenig Direkttasten, passt nicht zum wertigen Gesamtbild des M5+, Funktion und Reichweite sind aber soweit OK.
~ Firmware:
Funktioniert, aber wirkt noch nicht 100% ausgereift (z.B. unverstndliche Meldung: “Datum der Firmware” nach dem Versuch des Firmware-Updates).
+ Klang:
Gut bis sehr gut, durchsichtiges und klares Klangbild, tendiert im positiven Sinn zur hellen Wiedergabe.
Der Bass ist bis zu den Oberbssen hinunter OK, darunter fehlt es trotz 13cm-Subwoofer im Gerteboden an echtem Tiefbass (die Bassreflexrhre an der Rckseite klingt mir etwas zu hoch abgestimmt) da hilft auch die im Men integrierte Klangregelung wenig, das knnen meine am Schluss gelisteten Alternativen allesamt besser.
Die wichtigen Mitten werden durch die beiden Breitbandtreiber weitgehend verfrbungsfrei wiedergegeben, Stimmen klingen deshalb angenehm und richtig.
Die Hhen werden klar dargestellt und nerven nicht durch bermige Schrfe oder Zischeln.
Feindynamisch klingt der M5+ etwas begrenzt und leicht komprimiert und grobdynamisch fehlt es etwas an Reserven, Autoritt und Durchsetzungsfhigkeit aufgrund der Endstufe mit nur 30 Watt RMS.
Bis erhhter Zimmerlautstrke klingt der M5+ aber sehr sauber und unangestrengt, bei hheren Pegeln geht er aber bald in komprimierte Sttigung und danach in die bersteuerung ber, zur Partybeschallung taugt er deshalb eher nicht.
Eine breite Stereobhne darf man von dieser Gerteklasse selbstverstndlich nicht erwarten, ab ca. 1 m Abstand vom Radio hrt man bei all diesen All-In-One-Gerten nur noch Mono (auf Verschlimmbesserungen wie eine virtuelle Stereo-Verbreiterung, oder Pseudo-3D-Sound hat man beim M5+ lblicherweise verzichtet).
Und hey, wir reden da ja ber ein Tischradio und keine audiophile High-End-Stereoanlage, aber bei dem ausgelobten Preis darf man trotzdem einiges erwarten.

Der M5+ kann wirklich so gut wie alles wiedergeben, was heute gefragt ist:
CD, DAB/DAB+, FM-Radio, Internetradio, Spotify Connect, USB-Playback, Multiroom-Funktionalitt und Bluetooth-Connection.
Die klanglich beste Wiedergabe habe ich mit der Quelle CD erreicht, aber auch die anderen Quellen klingen durchaus nach HiFi, wobei ich aufgrund unserer schwachen DAB-Versorgung hier diese Quelle leider nicht testen konnte, dafr kann der M5+ natrlich nichts.
+ Preis/Leistung:
Aufgrund der Vielseitigkeit, der qualitativ wertigen Ausfhrung und des guten Klanges gebe ich trotz des durchaus selbstbewussten Preises gerade noch ein +. Zu diesem Preis gibt es aber durchaus Alternativen von anderen Herstellern, dazu spter mehr.
Fazit:
Erfreuliches Multiformatradio das in fast allen Disziplinen berzeugen kann.
Abgesehen von der billigen IR-Fernbedienung, die LeMega schleunigst gegen ein wertigeres und funktionaleres Modell tauschen sollte und der noch nicht vollstndig ausgereiften und tlw. etwas “kreativ” ins Deutsche bersetzten Software (ndert sich hoffentlich mit zuknftigen Firmware-Updates) macht der M5+ fast alles richtig.
Abschlieend muss aber auch gesagt werden, dass in dieser Gerte.- und Preisklasse auch noch bessere, potentere und klanglich noch berzeugendere (vor allem in der erweiterten Basswiedergabe) Alternativen existieren, die aber dafr meist nicht alle der Quellen beherrschen, die der M5+ bietet.
Fr Interessierte die alle Quellen des M5+ wirklich nutzen und hier die oberste Prioritt vor dem letzten Quntchen Klangqualitt setzen, spreche ich eine uneingeschrnkte Kaufempfehlung aus.
Alternativen:
Fr alle anderen, die z.B. ein CD-Laufwerk nicht bentigen empfehle ich aufgrund des noch besseren Klanges mit signifikant mehr Tiefgang und mehr klanglicher Autoritt z.B. das HAMA DIR3600MBT (70 Watt RMS), das locker eine mittelprchtige Stereoanlage ersetzt.
Preislich ist das Hama auf Augenhhe mit dem M5+.
Wer aber wiederum CD-Audio und MP3-CD braucht, aber auf Internetradio, Spotify und Multiroom verzichten kann, dem empfehle ich das MEDION LIFE X64400 (80 Watt RMS), das ebenfalls satten Stereoanlagen-Sound bietet und nur etwa die Hlfte des M5+ kostet.
Fr High-Ender empfehle ich das hervorragende REVO SuperSystem (Achtung kein CD-Laufwerk, 120 Watt RMS), das in fast allen Disziplinen die vorangegangenen Alternativen bertrumpft aber nicht in den Schatten stellt, die Unterschiede sind nicht berwltigend, aber fr feine Ohren hrbar. Es kostet allerdings annhernd den doppelten Preis des M5+, denn die letzten 10% Qualitt kosten eben bekanntlich immer am meisten. Klanglich spielt es aber auch eine Klasse hher als meine genannten beiden Alternativen und zwei Klassen hher als der M5+.
Alle drei genannten Alternativen sind jedoch von den Gehusemaen etwas grer als der LeMega M5+, das Medion am grten, aber das Hama hat als Hochformatgert wiederum die kleinste Stellflche. Alle sind trotz unterschiedlicher Designs qualitativ und haptisch sehr wertig ausgefhrt und verarbeitet und auf Augenhhe mit dem M5+, am hochwertigsten ausgefhrt und mit der feinsten Audiotechnik ausgestattet ist wenig berraschend der herrliche aber teure Revo.
Das neue Spitzenmodell von Lemega ist der M5+, welches ich mir fr mein Bro geleistet habe.
Das Stereo-Tischradio verfgt ber drei Lautsprecher (zwei Hoch- und Mittentner an der Front und ein Subwoofer an der Unterseite).
Es empfngt Programme ber UKW (mit RDS), DAB und DAB+ und kann via Bluetooth Lieblingsmusik von Smartphone, Tablet oder Laptop streamen. Dazu kommt noch ein Zugang zu Spotify-Connect und weil das nicht genug ist auch noch ein Internetradio, damit knnen ber 20 000 Sender und Podcasts aus dem Netz empfangen werden. Wer dann noch seine Musik per DLNA aus dem Heimnetzwerk streamen mchte, bitte, auch das ist eingebaut. Achso, man kann natrlich auch seine CD-Sammlung abspielen oder mit dem USB-Anschluss auf der Rckseite MP3s von einem Stick oder dem Handy oder Tablet streamen. Es hat diverse Weck-, Schlaf- und Schlummerfunktionen. An der Front ist ein Farbdisplay verbaut, damit knnen auch Slideshows wie Bilder, Plattencover und vieles mehr angezeigt werden. Soll es fr alle richtig laut werden, dockt man den Apparat einfach an eine grere HiFi-Konfiguration an, wobei die eingebauten Lautsprecher schon einen guten Sound mit entsprechender Lautstrke liefern.
Noch Wnsche offen? Ich denke mehr an Konnektivitt geht heute nicht, da ist einfach alles vorhanden!
Die Einrichtung des Lemega M5+, also im Wesentlichen die Einbindung in das heimische WLAN-Netz, ist schnell und unkompliziert erledigt, ich empfehle den Einrichtungsassistenten zu benutzen. Es liegt zwar nur eine englische Betriebsanleitung bei, die Bedienung ist aber intuitiv auch ohne Anleitung mglich, das ist recht gut gelst.
Die Verarbeitung (ich habe das weie Model) ist sehr gut, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Alles sehr passgenau, saubere Rundungen, keine scharfen Kanten oder hnliches, ein echt hohes Qualittsniveau.
Der Radio stecht auf 4 weichen Kunststofffssen, welche Vibrationen recht gut absorbieren. Das farbige Display ist gut lesbar und hat eine gute Auflsung/ einen guten Kontrast.
Die Bedienungsknpfe auf der Vorderseite und das Kontrollpanel an der Oberseite haben einen gut abgestimmten Druckpunkt und lassen sich sehr genau und angenehm bedienen. Auf der Rckseite befindet dazu noch ein Hauptschalter fr die Stromversorgung, das ist in der Preisklasse schon auergewhnlich gut.
Das Gert lsst sich darber hinaus auch mit der mitgelieferten Fernbedingung gut steuern.
Die Hrprobe habe ich anhand einiger meiner persnlichen Lieblingsstcke durchgefhrt (auer beim Radio, da war es eben Antenne Bayern).
Ich war da sehr angenehm berrascht, welche Detailtreue teilweise hrbar war. Der interne Equalizer bietet die Mglichkeit zur individuellen Anpassung, ich persnlich mag mehr Hhen und etwas mehr Bass. Man kann hier auch diverse vorgewhlte Klangprogramme auswhlen, z.B. Jazz, Pop, Rock, Wer kann, der sollte mit dem Aufstellort etwas experimentieren”, besonders mit dem Abstand zur Wand, wegen dem rckseitigen Bassreflexrohr!
Fazit:
Das Gert liefert meiner Ansicht nach in allen Lautstrkenbereichen eine absolut gute Wiedergabe ab. Es verfgt ber einen krftigen Bass und die Mitten und Hhen machen viele Details hrbar, insgesamt ein sehr positives Klangerlebnis. Dazu gibt es eine hervorragende Verarbeitung, eine Konnektivitt die keine Wnsche offenlsst, ein sehr gut ablesbares TFT Display, eine absolut benutzerfreundliche Bedienung und das zu einem unschlagbar gnstigen Preis.
