Its been up a month, it is under a shelf but has not failed in the rain. Very bright, very simple install, feels sturdy to the touch and no complaints here. Would recommend.
Side note, I would NOT go any brighter for the average back garden, trust me its bright enough
Bright ligh
Compact unit provides a wide area of light, easy enough to wire up, simple to attach to a wall with the fixings provided. Delivery was quick and the price was reasonable.
PIR works
Existing light had become faulty so needed to be replaced. This was a good price. Physically smaller that expected and cable was shorter than ideal but it is now in place and functioning as required. It is bright enough for what I need. Longevity still to be determined but satisfied at prese
Sensor delays
Only issue is sometimes the sensor lags in detection, anywhere from 1 or 2 seconds to 5+ seconds, it’s a noticeable delay and I’ve set the sensitivity to max.
Otherwise it’s very good so far.
I bought two of these lights as I’m quite impressed by the relatively small size and the effectiveness of the sensors on them. The only downside, in common with all these type of lights that Amazon cells, is they all come with rather short cable as he assume you were going to join them to a circuit using a switch box. I bought some small waterproof plug holders in order to join it to a longer cable and I found it excellent for that. You can adjust the sensor up and down and left and right to stop it triggering all the time and I found the light. It gives really good as it doesn’t blind you completely and it doesn’t annoy the neighbours either they carefully set up .

Lights are good, arrived quickly and easy to set up. Only quibble is that they could have done with longer power cables, but that can be sorted out easily enough.
It works as it should for now
Easy to install but say If i need to replace the light I would have to rewire the light entirely for a new one which is ashame for hassle but hope it lasts and it’s a bright white as it should be.
We used to have a 30W LED outside the back door (we live in the middle of the countryside so its pitch black). Have now stwiched to the motion detector type – so its still black outside but the light comes on only when you need it. Downside – be careful if you go out of range when outside as you need to go back into range to activate light once again. Saving a lot on electricty this way. 20W is more than bright enough
Very good for the money
I have 2 spotlights to wire up and I thought I’d try this one before I committed to a second. I think I will buy another though, as its pretty good.
Doesn’t come with a junction box and I was planning to wire my existing setup directly into the light unit. However, you can’t pull out the wire that it comes with as it goes into the unit without any visible connections.
Bought a weatherproof junction box for it, wired it on and after some tweaking of the sensitivity it is now up and running and I’m happy with the purchase. Only been in situ for a week but no qualms so far.
Excellent service
The product was delivered packaged and on attempting to set it up the buttons on it to control time, daytime/ nighttime operation were stuck and broke off rendering the item unusable. So not 5 star. However the retailers response was excellent. Upon reporting it to them they immediately offered a replacement or refund. I took the refund and it happened immediately. So product somewhat lacking but I would buy other items from thus retailer due to their customer response so 5 sta
It doesn’t work…!!
This product is useless! Which ever setting I set it to the light only works when I hold my hand completely over the detection sensor.
I’m returning it for a replacement that actually works..!!
Purchased this product to replace an old outside light.
I was a little apprehensive at first as it was quite light but should have realised that as it’s LED the production of the product will be lighter.
The product is well made and the paint covering it has been well applied with the intention of weatherproofing the product for outside weather.
The light was simple to in stall and the instruction leaflet that came with it was straightforward.
The two bolts on each side have good locking spring washer that made angle adjustment easy.
Once fitted, the controls are straightforward – when it should come on – how long it should come on for – and finally at what range it should activate. ( The range and time of lighting is adjustable with small rotary screws).
The ‘brightness’ of the light is excellent and I was happy right away that I was saving money and hadn’t bought an inferior product.
More than happy to recommend as a good value for money purchase.
I bought this as a replacement for a similar (but not identical) unit that failed after around two years. Given how hostile the winter weather is where I live, that was quite good going. I bought it on the strength of the many reviews, avoiding the very cheapest.
One major plus is, due to the size of the bracket relative to the light housing, I did not have to remove the bracket to install it (unlike the previous model).
I set the timer and sensitivity controls half-way and turned the ‘lux’ (level of ambient light before it operates) down to near minimum, i.e. nighttime only. When it got dark, I found I had to stand right in front of it waving my arms to make it operate! As I wanted this to operate from movement one car’s length away, I turned up the sensitivity to maximum and now works as hoped.
As with similar units it comes with a fixed, relatively short length of cable. It is not intended to be opened to replace the cable. Hence a water-proof junction box mounted near will be required (see photo).
It was easy to set up
Well worth the money it’s nice and compact and a very good light use this for round my bin store great at night the sensor has got a good range
Security Lights
I bought 2 for my rear garden to replace my old halogen lights and i wish i had these available first back then. Really easy to install but i did buy 2x connector boxes from a different store – ‘you can do it when you…’ you can guess the store. These were to make it so much easier as the lights came with a cable attached.
Great For Doorway Illumination.
I use this near my backdoor. It is situated on a dark driveway so this is necessary to be able to see the keyhole.
You have to remember that this is only a 20 Watt so it is never going to floodlight a football pitch.
This has been up for about 7 months now in a fairly exposed position and so far (touch wood) shows no sign of weather penetration.
Petite and excelle
Replaced a Lap product supplied by builder which was useless. This worked as needed from beginning. Easy to manoeuvre to ensure only goes on when needed. Also has a distance as well as the timing and Lux facilities
Highly recommend. The low wattage more than adequate for our needs
Brilliant light, easy to set up
I purchased this to replace an ancient halogen tube light that had stopped working. Installation was easy as there was already a cable running from the fuse box to the connection point. Once installed I adjusted the timer so that it stays on for about 30 seconds once triggered. nothing else needed adjustment. The light is brighter than I expected for a 20w light and the sensor has a wide coverage area, this is a very good light.

Small compact light.
Nice small compact light. Fixing holes are quite small, so be prepared for a trip to they DIY shop for some small fixing. Everything on the light works as it should.

Small and brigh
Fitted under a car port and working as good as I hoped. It’s brighter than I expected and emits a nice white light. Seems well made and at a good price.

Used a few of these and they tend to be fairly well made and last a while. Relatively easy to install and set up. Good pricing on most of Lepro items.
No fittings
Looks good though but no fittings,. So need to buy some suitable screws and plugs
This Lepro security light looks almost identical to a Luceco product of which I’ve never had one last longer than 1 yr. However it offers a very bright light, it’s easy to install, but be aware the lead is far too short, the unit is sealed so one can’t fit a longer lead. I’ll see how long it lasts and edit this review.
Flood ligh
It’s smaller than you think, but powerful enough. Lights up an area of about 5m.
Great light, very short electric lead
Great light, just what we wanted to light a small outside garden. The only problem is the length of the electric lead, way to short for most outside connections.

Bought this to replace one that failed. This is smaller, but does the job it was needed for, i.e. overlook the drive and come on if anyone approaches the car at night. Would get another for the front door if I could find a way of getting power there.
Nice bright ligh
Purchased this to replace ones I had been buying previously that were microwave based, but unfortunately only lasted around 12 months. Trying these for the first time so time will tell.
IR seems not as sensitive or far reaching as microwave so there’s that. Otherwise so far so good. Nice strong light in a smaller unit than before.
Small but very brigh
Love this little light it works really well. Be aware though it comes without a plug and the lead is only a metre long so quite short. In fairness it does explain the lead length on the amazon page but I totally missed it and found myself having to add a extension which was no big deal.
Weatherproof but not airgun proof...
Bought this for my elderly dad, as the side of his house is quite dark at night and his carers asked for a light to be put up. Very bright and illuminated the path well. Too well unfortunately, as his “delightful” neighbour put 3 airgun pellets through it after a few days as he couldn’t be bothered to contact me to adjust it so it didn’t stay on too long, etc. Other than that it worked well.

A great little out door light. We’ll made and looks good, my only criticism, needs an extra 6 inches of cable but maybe that’s just me. Don’t let this put you off,I’m well pleased
Does what it says on the tin.
I had to get an electrician in to instal, so I can’t really say if that was easy or not, but the light works just fine and is bright enough to cover a good area outside my back door.
Good, easy to use. Sensor range is limited.
Good light, does exactly as expected. Simple to install. Only criticism is that with light pointing down, the sensor cannot be raised beyond the angle of the light which reduces detection range.
Does the job
Smaller than I expected at around 15cm across but every bit as bright as it needs to be, easy to install and the motion detection works well. Use it at my front door and it illuminates everything without looking like you’re trying to land a jumbo jet.

People have mentioned the water resistance and the light is ip68 while the sensor is ip54. If you read the specs that should be fine for rain. So far so good.

Good value
Purchased two of these lights for outside home use. Hopefully I’m not writing this too soon, but after 3 months of winter weather they are still working perfectly. The sensors are not affected by branches blowing in the garden which is good. Distance adjustment is a bit hit & miss, but for the price they are excellent value.
