Good value for money
It is as I expected. No strong comments either way.
Small but does the job.
Been up just over a week and so far working great. Is a small light but bright enough for my needs. Cable is short but was fine for my application. This was stated in the description so no surprise. All in all easy to fit works well for me. Hope it lasts longer than the one it replaced.

An excellent produc
Product arrived as noted and was reasonably easy to install. Produces as much illumination as the unit it replaced.

The unit is lightweight, has a clear bright LED light and the motion sensor works well. So far holding up well to a wet Welsh winter. Only reason not to go 5 stars is that you need to be competent with electrics to install, preferably by a qualified person, as the wiring must be safely connected to a mains supply as it is not a battery-powered light.

Good replacement for my previous lamp whose motion detector failed after 8 years
I first connected the lamp to a 13 amp plug and set the controls to the desired settings before installing the lamp in the final high level location and hard wired to the low level duel pole switch. Saved setting it from a ladder after installing. Good light and much smaller than the tungsten lamp that it replaced.

Simple to install, wire is pre fitted , with good flexible wire, it a little on the short side, if like me you wanted wire inside building to junction box, you might struggle a little.
Otherwise, seems bright and motion detection adjustment simple.

Small, but super bright outside ligh
Compact size with a high level of brightness, and perfect for our garden. Installation was very easy as I was able to connect directly to an existing junction box. The settings are easy to adjust, and I am very pleased with the sensitivity of the motion detector.
Overall an excellent product.
Simple to fit and set up
I like the idea of a trailing lead instead of integral junction box. For me I could replace an older style unit very quickly. The sensing range is excellent and the light is less intense than the older floodlight, but better dispersing.
Decent value
Had this installed for a few weeks in the winter and working well so far. Had to mess around with the settings to get it coming on at the right light levels but once done it works consistently. The bracket that hold the light up is very flimsy though and will distort if your wall isn’t totally flat. Nice and bright though.

Great light, plenty bright enough for a 1 car drive way and a bit of path, your not being blinded but can see very well when the light is on, my only gripe is the cable is way to short it needs to be twice if not three times the length so it can be fed through brick work, so instead I had to wire it to a waterproof junction box then into the garage unlike my other light for the back garden, it would just look so much tidier also the actual sensor for the is only ip54 I think which dust proof not waterproof but my light is tucked under some facia so it should be ok, over all happy I mean for under 15 it ideal

Tiny but Effective
I have been really pleased with the performance of this light.
Very bright light,easy to install
The light works well and is easy to install and adjust.The power cable is a little short.This didn’t matter in my case as I had a spare junction box and plenty of cable but could be an issue. For the price ,good value product,I am pleased with it.
Good ligh
The security light was easy to fit. It is compact and bright enough to cover an area where two cars are parked.It is not too bright to upset the neighbours. I would have preferred a longer cable.
If connected outside it requires a waterproof junction box.

Very good motion detection.
Motion detection is very good, you can set it up to the distance you want. I have the 10 watt version, and the brightness is very good. They are very weatherproof and have never let me down.
Easy to wire in if you know what you are doing.
If you cannot wire, get an expert.

Bought this to replace an ancient outdoor quartz halogen floodlight. Outperforms a 300W QH bulb. Neat, slim and very easy to install. Motion detection works well and adjustable features mean that you can tailor the performance to meet your particular needs. No regrets concerning my purchase(s).

These will take a while to tweak.

I’ve only installed this today – so this is a review based on initial testing only…
Replaced an old Halogen light, which was working, but the sensor had broken – so the light went off – but then immediately came back on.
Was pleased that this unit came with the cable already installed into the light. I bought a waterproof junction box so I could simply wire up using the existing cabling from the old light in to this box and take advantage of the additional flex to place the light in a slightly different location. Played about with all the settings for a while to obtain the optimum setup for my front driveway. Not sure about the other comments on here claiming difficulty in getting this accurate – but I managed to get exactly what I needed after about 15 trips up the ladder! The time setting here gives me about 25 seconds light on time. Worth doing all the setup work – as once it’s sorted, should be no need to alter again.
The illumination is very good – covering my porch, the steps down to the front drive (particularly important for the Maccy’s delivery driver heading back to his car) and the entire front drive and the two cars on it.

I needed to combine with an external junction box where there is no room for internal cabling. How easy it was too install
The light was small compared too the light I had before it was very easy to install was a bit apprehensive about how bright it would be, but it was OK the light is as bright as the last one. Would recommend this product

Easy to fit and you can use a plug
Easy to mount (2x screws), only needs a plug (doesn’t need to be wired into a lighting ring), and control dials for motion, range and brightness take some time to get right but you can have a bit of fun doing so.
Colour of led is quite white (not blue or warm yellow).

Amazingly easy to install. But just ensure you have screws, rawplugs & likely more power lead, as the length attached to the light is only around 1 – 1.5m in length.
Only small gripe is, I’ve turned the light timer down to the minimum possible, that the light remains on once motion is detected & is around 5 minutes. Not great, but will sacrifice for the price & brightness it offers
That it works well
The light is up and running seems to work well, little trouble with the lighting Time but resolved after experiment. Used an ordinary juction box to connect to main supply from water proof lead as connection inside under cover. so far so good!

Small but very bright light. Was a bit tricky to put up as we couldn’t just insert the cable into the light as the cable is fixed and so had to work out a way to get the cable through the wall to the electricity supply. But the final result is good. It is sensitive to movement and lights the area we wanted it to.

Only drawback to my mind, though it’s probably a safety measure, is you can’t wire it straight on to your house’s wiring (I was using this to replace an old one that had been hard wired) so you really do need to buy some waterproof junction boxes to connect it up, and that can be a bit fiddly stood up a ladder.

Note the size. Is very twee. Has great light though. If try and tip it down, to stop glare next door, note the movement sensor will go down as well. The 3 adjusters are easier to set and read than most.

Fantastic light, a lot smaller than I had imagined and first thoughts when I opened the box was, this will be going back ! But the light Shone all over the driveway which is 60ft W x 40ft L so it certainly won’t be going back now, the sensor works perfectly too, the actual light is very slim and looks really modern compared to the old bulky 80s version, so really pleased and will now purchase one for the back garden.

Bright white light, motion sensor limited
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks, it was easy to install although be aware that you’ll need a wire junction box/connector to fit to a power cable. The light is bright but the motion sensor is of limited use because even with the detector on full it’s only picking movement up 15-20 ft away.

The connecting cable is short so I fitted a socket to the old wire and a plug to the new light. Now it’ll be much easier to change in the future.

it grew on me
in week 3 of a little fine-tuning and it works so well out back, i’m getting another for out front. so what if one day when it blows there’ll be no new bulb so blithely junk’n’replace. it still feels worth it, tho yeh – apologies to the local landfill.

Very small security light but very bright. I have found the the motion detection will not activate at the distance that it says, but never the less it does work on closer distances. I also found the the electrical lead was small and had to extend it. Would I buy it again (no ).

Bought this to replace an old halogen light which had gone rusty. This is about a 1/3 of the size so laughed when I got it out the box as thought it would probably look alright on a dolls house. But to my surprise it’s light is really bright and clear (white light) much better than the old halogen one. So don’t be put off by the size. 20w packs a punch!

A good economy light that does what it claims.
This is a good economy item that delivers an excellent bright light. Easy to fit and set up – but don’t forget to set the ‘lux’ for day and night settings or it may work all day as well ! The motion sensor distance setting sometimes varies a little in activating the light and it is also worthy of note that the fitted cable may be a little short for some at just 1 metre. All in all though, I like this hassle free light and I have had two now.

The motion sensor distance setting sometimes varies a little in activating the light and it is also worthy of note that the fitted cable may be a little short for some at just 1 metre. All in all though, I like this hassle free light and I have had two now.
Easy To Fit, Works Well
This took me about 20 mins to fit as a replacement for the old non LED one. Connections were clearly laid out and on completion, it was easy to adjust the settings. Very pleased so far.

Standard bit of kit that replaced an old halogen version. However, it illuminates the garden AND next door’s upstairs windows. I’ve had to fashion a hood to reduce this spill-over. Otherwise, works well enough and seems sturdy and reliable.
Great illumination and very small profile. Downside the adjustment switches are fiddly and the slightest adjustment, causes extreme times motion detection etc so lots and lots of trips up the ladder with tiny millimeter adjustments to get it to the settings I wanted. However it’s now done and works very vell

I bought two of these lights, they were great value for money spent. They were a lot brighter than I thought they would be, which was great as the one illuminates my whole back garden, which is absolutely esential, my dog can see where ever he needs too. Motion detection is excellent and fast to detect any movement.
I would highly recommend.
It's still working
Smaller than the usual security lights on sale, but has a bright light giving a good coverage. This was the fourth security light purchased and it worked first time, it wasn’t DOA, last less than a fortnight, or once on never turn off.
The steam from the condensing boiler nearby did trigger the light, but a small adjustment to the angle of the sensor fixed that.
Powerful light with good adjustability. Word of warning!

I wired this in to an existing light fitting and all it did was glow. Was ready to return it but thought I would try attaching a 3 pin plug and plug it in to a wall socket first. Bingo! it works brilliantly.
Would prefer it without the lettering on the front, but overall a good light.
Don’t bother with cheaper alternatives.
Why do I keep trying eBay?
Bought this to replace a lamp bought on eBay last month. That light just didn’t work. This one is; better made, heavier, well protected cable, brighter, good length of cable and a nice frosting on the glass that defuses the light. All in all I’m just cross that I keep trying eBay when they are just ‘cheap’. I’d buy this one again and recommend. Good value and above all it works!!!
Purchased to replace a 1 year old LED light with similar specifications. I have installed over 20 different types of LED PIR lights at my home over the years. Unfortunately none have lasted as expected. Some fail due to water getting into the ‘Sealed’ unit, some fail due to the PIR not working, others fail due to the LED output failing quite probably due to the underpowered driver for the output.
This one looks good, slightly smaller than my previous unit it replaces with the same 50W rating. I always purchase an LED floodlight that has a decent length of cable which this has. Some come with a ridiculous 10cm of cable which isn’t even long enough to wire into a junction box directly behind the light.
So far so good, light positioning has plenty of directional movement and so too does the PIR sensor. Light output is good, nice and bright and covers a large area. All adjustments work as they should and the light comes on when I want for the time I want.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this light. Hopefully a few months down the line won’t make me regret this review.
These are neat & compact, well built & economical to run. Bought as a direct replacement for halogen lights which were completely the opposite of that. The one in the image is only a 15w version & is lighting the lower part of my rural driveway..no light pollution here so that tiny thing is responsible for all the illumination in the image . Others are installed elsewhere on the property & give a clear but non glaring light. Much more helpful when night vision cams are in use as they produce a much clearer image than if the harsh halogens have been triggered which is counter-productive & not much use .
These were extremely easy to set up with lux, sensitivity & timing settings & were done before installing them. I’ll certainly be ordering several more of these & fully recommend them for other buyers.
Fitted in moments, connected 3 wires and done! adjustable sensitivity and time light stays on. Light and 50w for me gives me ‘daylight’ at night power. I even use it to eat outside as a light for for family. Looks great too, fitted and operational in under an hour for any novice.
