It wasn’t that easy to assemble and did need 2 competent adults!!! Apart from that it is very sturdy and so far waterproof and would recommend this product.

Quality just as I hoped. A robust, easy-assemble and handsome item ( a box is a box I know but this is quite pleasing to look at!). I have given water resistance 5 stars but this is as yet only tested after moderate rain. I think if subjected to more horizontal driving rain there might been a little seepage in under the lid.

This is a good quality sturdy item. All the parts were well packed and the enclosed instructions perfectly adequate for me. For anyone needing more help there are online tutorials available (I didn’t look at these so I don’t know how helpful).
There were only two things that I didn’t like: one is that when closing I have to slightly press in the front panel so that the latch goes into the right place, and the other is that when opening you have to be careful that the lid doesn’t go back hard and strain the gas struts. This could be remedied by fitting a chain to the hinge.
Neither of these warrants a reduction to 4 stars but probably would merit 4.5 stars if that was possible.
I didn’t have any trouble with parts not fitting that some have reported. I suspect that some might have had things the wrong way round – either that or the manufacturer has modified the design.

Wertiges stabiles Teil. Aufbau, total simpel, mir hat nur aus Ferienlangeweile meine 13jhrige Tochter geholfen, das geht aber auch alles alleine. In wie weit es vollstndig wasserdicht ist, kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber ich gehe nicht davon aus da wir so ein Wetter in Ahrweiler haben, die Box steht auch unter dem Terassendach. Stabil und belastbar und passt ordentlich was rein. Bin voll zu Frieden.

Hard to assemble, but really worth the effort as the product is excellent! I now have three of these storing equipment outside. I was wary at first, after reading some reviews, so just bought one. Assembly is not easy. It suggests using a power drill with a special bit to turn she screws. However, if you see the last photo in my review, you can see the tools I used to assemble three of these storage tubs (I purchased another two!). I used a plumbers wrench to hold the nuts in place whilst I used the mole wrench, which can be tightened to grip the screws and slowly tighten the screws through the metal bars. Doing this with just a screwdriver is NOT possible, as the screws don’t just slide though the holes, but they do go through with the wrench method and one they get through, they can then be tightened by hand with a screwdriver. Do not go out and buy smaller screws as some reviews suggest, as the end product won’t be sturdy. The screws provided are the correct size.
The product is really sturdy; it reminds me of the Little Tiles type plastic that has a bit of soft bounce to it, with prevents it being easily cracked on impact. I can stand up in the middle of the box lid and it feels like it very easily takes my weight. One thing to note is that when you open the lid, it opens slightly behind the box, so if up against a wall, you need to leave a small gap behind the box. The colour I bought was ‘brown’ but in reality it is a taupe sort of brownish grey.

Needed waterproof/weatherproof lockable outdoor storage for garden furniture cushions, sports kit and a few other things besides. This is a top quality item – really robust and well made. Put it together in less than an hour by myself – you do need an electric screwdriver to do the build justice and get it spot on. Instructions are clear and simple to follow if you read them carefully.

Incredibly sturdy and really straight forward to construct.
You just need a drill for the screws and socket set for the bolts.
The four slides slot into place and you then secure with screws. Then you move onto the lid which you need to add the bracket arms too then secure to the assembled four sides. Finally you add the gas arms.
You could build a house on top of it it’s so sturdy.

Good product which was the single worst flat packed assembly I’ve ever constructed.

Looks quite sturdy however once assembled.

Very pleased with this for storing all my garden furniture cushions. I managed to assemble with the help of my 16 year old son so if we can do it anyone can. It holds all my cushions easily and perfect for the winter months it also matches my rattan furniture perfectly. Very sturdy and secure

nur zum Stecken. Das kann doch nicht Sinn der Sache sein, etwas zu verkaufen ohne deutsche Beschreibung!!

I bought a second one because the first I’d have rated 5 stars. The one just delivered wasn’t designed the same. Two sets of bolts were too big and consequently had to use alternates. Hence the ratings for sturdiness, easiness to assemble and durability at 3 but overall 4 after two purchases. I just can’t say how the new one will pan out.

When the box was heavy so needed two of us to bring through the house. No easy way to carry it as no handholds in the box. The instructions were fairly clear but we found that we had to make pilot holes for the screws as they were at such an awkward angle that even using a power drill to screw them in was difficult. If you did not have a power drill I don’t think you would manage it. The bolts definitely need two spanners or adjustable fine spanners as not much space to maneuver. Some of the screws have bolt heads which the instructions say to use the power drill but are too close to the lid so we had to use a ratchet instead. The gas compression hinges were meant to have been a push-fit… No way could we push them on so out came a small hammer and with much doubt, we managed to hammer them on. Now attached the lid closes gently so no trapped fingers. Does open quickly through. Also, pictures give you the idea of the size as not many sales sites show you in comparison with other objects. We will have to wait and see if it is weatherproof as not raining. We thought it was meant to be but the paperwork said it was not????? What is the point if not…!!! No visible holes to let the weather in. We are pleased that we went for this 439Ltr box as the others we saw on Wowcher were much smaller by volume but no sensible pictures to show size. We may therefore have spent more but worth it. We will fill with our sacks of Birdseed ready for the winter, so hoping it is weather proof 🙂

This is a very sturdy and high quality storage box! I was worried it would be cheaply made because the price was unbeatable but it is one of my best storage bins. Large and weatherproof!

We got this for the garden to store bulk bird food and were hoping the squirrels and rats wouldn’t attack it but the did – the joys of country living! They have gnawed it in places but not yet got in! This hold several large buckets of fat balls with some sacks and other smaller items and is a nice height to perch on for a seat. Nice looking and the brown blends into the background nicely. Easy to put together – a rubber mallet saves bashing with your hands.
