Very sturdy box
Quality just as I hoped. A robust, easy-assemble and handsome item ( a box is a box I know but this is quite pleasing to look at!). I have given water resistance 5 stars but this is as yet only tested after moderate rain. I think if subjected to more horizontal driving rain there might been a little seepage in under the lid.

Since being supplied with hessian sacks for recycling, by local ciuncil, this product has proved invaluble to keep them in.
Replaced home-made wooden box.
No more rotting and wood preservation! Only downside was that sef tapping screws intended to pull the box together tended to push them apart instead. Pilot holes would have been useful.

This is a good quality sturdy item. All the parts were well packed and the enclosed instructions perfectly adequate for me. For anyone needing more help there are online tutorials available (I didn’t look at these so I don’t know how helpful).
There were only two things that I didn’t like: one is that when closing I have to slightly press in the front panel so that the latch goes into the right place, and the other is that when opening you have to be careful that the lid doesn’t go back hard and strain the gas struts. This could be remedied by fitting a chain to the hinge.
Neither of these warrants a reduction to 4 stars but probably would merit 4.5 stars if that was possible.
I didn’t have any trouble with parts not fitting that some have reported. I suspect that some might have had things the wrong way round – either that or the manufacturer has modified the design.

Tolle stabile Box
Wertiges stabiles Teil. Aufbau, total simpel, mir hat nur aus Ferienlangeweile meine 13jhrige Tochter geholfen, das geht aber auch alles alleine. In wie weit es vollstndig wasserdicht ist, kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber ich gehe nicht davon aus da wir so ein Wetter in Ahrweiler haben, die Box steht auch unter dem Terassendach. Stabil und belastbar und passt ordentlich was rein. Bin voll zu Frieden.

I used a plumbers wrench to hold the nuts in place whilst I used the mole wrench, which can be tightened to grip the screws and slowly tighten the screws through the metal bars. Doing this with just a screwdriver is NOT possible, as the screws don’t just slide though the holes, but they do go through with the wrench method and one they get through, they can then be tightened by hand with a screwdriver. Do not go out and buy smaller screws as some reviews suggest, as the end product won’t be sturdy. The screws provided are the correct size.

Die Box habe ich ber Amazon am 20.05. bestellt, am 10.06. erhielt ich die Info, dass das Paket verloren gegangen war. Nachdem ich den Verkufer kontaktiert habe, hat es noch etwas gedauert, bis das Geld zurck berwiesen wurde. Also habe ich dieselbe Box beim Verkufer direkt am 8.07. bestellt und gestern 13.07. kam sie an. Die Einzelteile sind sehr stabil, alle Schrauben waren mit eingepackt. Mit einem Stecksystem ist die Box schnell aufgebaut. Das Festschrauben war etwas mhsam, da die Lcher in den Einzelteilen nicht vorgebohrt sind. Aber mit dem passenden Werkzeug hat es gut geklappt.
Sie ist gerumig und alle Sitzpolster (insbesondere die Gre 62×62 cm) passen prima hinein. Ich hoffe, sie hlt die nchsten Jahre und ist wasserdicht.

All good. We purchased one and then a couple of days later another. Follow the instructions to the letter and you will have no problems assembling it. Ideally with two people though! Very sturdy and roomy inside.

Firstly, I was a bit surprised at the size of this box. Sure, I had measured up the space allocated for it but this really is quite a large and impressive storage unit. Bought it to replace an ageing and smaller box that was quite flimsy compared to this. It arrives in a rather large and heavy cardboard box and on opening it you quickly understand why. The plastic panels are fairly solid, and the metal parts are of decent quality.
It took around 2 hours to construct with the help of the Manual, the YouTube video and the brilliant mobile phone app that allows you to see how to construct it in 3D. There were still confusion where my husband had to refer to the instructions a number of times to check his understanding, but it was constructed by my husband on his own, and without the need for a power drill, just the electric screwdriver and a set of spanners. All the panels lined-up well and although screwing-in some of the screws was problematic, nothing was particularly difficult. He had envisaged problems with the fitting of the gas struts as a number of people had mentioned problems they had with that, but a rubber-headed hammer used over a heavy towel made light work of fixing the struts in place. All in all an impressive storage box, well made and fairly rigid. Can’t comment on it’s waterproof capability yet as only put together today but I can see no reason why it wouldn’t be waterproof. So far very pleased.

Sturdy and easy to set up
I’ve had a number of boxes for my garden but let me tell you This box is of great quality, sturdy and solid – nothing like the flimsier things available. Its a 2 man job to move it but once built up its worth it. I use it for my ratten furniture cushions so its ideal.

Incredibly sturdy and really straight forward to construct.
You just need a drill for the screws and socket set for the bolts.
The four slides slot into place and you then secure with screws. Then you move onto the lid which you need to add the bracket arms too then secure to the assembled four sides. Finally you add the gas arms.
You could build a house on top of it it’s so sturdy.

Lots of storage in this solid, sturdy box. I am using it to store a large collection of plastic pots and trugs but useful for anything you want. Not had any rain yet so can’t say how waterproof it is but I have hosed it down without problem. My 77 year old husband had no difficulty putting it together, single handed.

This is exactly as described. I have one problem that disappointed. The screws that need to go through the metal parts were too big for the holes in the metal parts. Fortunately we had screws in our own toolbox that did fit.

It’s easy and quick to assemble right up until snapping the last 2 lid opening support joints. For some reason they were extremely hard to snap over the round ball joint. Fortunately, we had a builder with us on the day we assembled it and he suggested gently forcing the clips apart, slide over the ball joint and then release them which he kindly did for us. For a home DIY person, this is certainly not something they could be expected to do. The first 2 snapped on easily. Clearly nothing we did wrong – just manufactured a bit too overly tight.

Did some research into the pros and cons of outdoor storage units as this was to store business files so something completely watertight was essential.
This was a perfect choice as it’s proved to be exactly what was needed as my files and documents remain completely dry despite heavy rain and snow throughout January and February.

A very good product. With some DIY experience it is easy to put together. I followed the instructions on my phone which were easy to follow. Some of the screw holes needed to be made larger. Very pleased with the box now it is completed.

This arrived very quickly and also with the usual pictorial instructions. It would be a help if some sort of numbered stickers could be attached to each of the sides and these numbers linked to the pictorial instructions. It should also be put in the instructions that in addition to the 2 spanners (11mm and 13mm) required an additional spanner will be required (from memory I think a 13mm) as on one operation it is required to hold both sides of the nut and bolt when tightening. Pliers don’t really do the job. A minor gripe on what is, overall, a very well made piece of kit. Take care when assembling the hinges as they only join one way. Can be assembled by one person, but really two are needed to position it when built. Overall, for a mid-priced garden box it is very good and will take garden tools (for example) with plenty of space.

When the box was heavy so needed two of us to bring through the house. No easy way to carry it as no handholds in the box. We will have to wait and see if it is weatherproof as not raining. We thought it was meant to be but the paperwork said it was not????? What is the point if not…!!! Solid, large storage box.
Good solid box. The largest one that I could find to keep my garden furniture cushions in. I’m keeping it inside, so don’t know how waterproof it is. Pretty easy to put together with the video instructions via an app. I did manage to break one of the gas struts as they don’t pop in easily – but it works ok with just one strut.

So, I assembled the storage box today. Took me most of the afternoon. Its quite sturdy. I would say make sure you have all the tools ready to assemble. Some parts need a little coaxing to fit properly, a tap here and there to make it seat right.
Anyway, you get the picture. Also fix the lid iron parts layed down on the cardboard packing, this will stop it getting scratches – thank me later!

La compramos hace alrededor de dos meses, no es difcil de montar, su diseo es muy bonito, tiene mucha capacidad, y aguanta bien el peso. Tenemos encima la caja de herramientas y una bici infantil

Like others have said impossible to put on without breaking them. Asking for spare parts or a reduction in price.

Having read reviews on a number of other products I decided to purchase a Lifetime 439 Litre (116-Gallon) Storage Box in Dark Brown for general garden storage. The size and weight of the delivery carton was slightly off putting, so I unpacked at the front door and carried the sections to my back garden separately.
Having read the assembly instructions it became apparent that with a little patience all should be well. A small drill and socket set made things easier and after a few hours I had a superb looking and sturdy box in place.
At the very end of the build one of the small springs in the lid support pistons broke. However a quick email to “Lifetime EU Support” resulted in a complete replacement part being sent by FEDEX from the US, which astonishingly arrived at my house only two days after shipment. Now that is what I call outstanding customer service!
Both my wife and I are really impressed with a secure, solid and spacious box that now enhances a corner of our garden.

It took a couple hours to put together. Screws fit by piercing the plastic. It actually seems to work well. It was to the first exposure to water - water tight. We store pillows in it to keep them clean.

We got this for the garden to store bulk bird food and were hoping the squirrels and rats wouldn’t attack it but the did – the joys of country living! They have gnawed it in places but not yet got in! This hold several large buckets of fat balls with some sacks and other smaller items and is a nice height to perch on for a seat. Nice looking and the brown blends into the background nicely. Easy to put together – a rubber mallet saves bashing with your hands.

This box holds 4 seat cushions and 4 pillows for the seat backs. It went together pretty well, though there were some spots where it was difficult and didn't quite match up. We've had it for a couple months and it's staying closed, and so far looks good.

Assembly went well for me but follow the instructions. It helped me to have a pick punch to start some assembly screw holes. Not sure how rain proof it is as I have a roof over my storage box. Looks nice and holds a lot of items! Very well made and should last a very long time.

It is a very generous size, holds all of our cushions and a lot of bird seed bags as well as grill cover when grill is in use. Waterproof so far and easy to assemble. Great dark brown color matches the siding on my house!

I ordered this deck box to keep my outdoor cushions in. This is exactly what I needed to keep them dry and I don't have to carry them inside the garage every time. I must say, I did need to get my son to help put this together but that's no big deal. I liked this so much that I recommended this to my neighbor and she is going to order one for her patio also.
