MAG-TAC LED Torch
The MAG-TAC LED is a true tactical torch, designed for professional users but also available to civilians. An aggressive knurled design allows for a secure grip and the body has twice the impact resistance of a standard Maglite torch. The MAG-TAC uses lithium CR123 batteries for high performance. The tail cap is shrouded to avoid accidental activation and the body has a matte finish. This tactical version of the MAG-TAC has been designed with input from military tactical consultants and has been tested and recommended by the National Tactical Officers Association. In addition to its standard features, it has a crowned bezel and features a high energy 12 Hz strobe for disorienting an attacker at close quarters. It comes with CR123 batteries and a pocket clip with a hole sized to accommodate a para cord lanyard.

Great Torch. Love it so much. It’s unbelievably powerful and compact and although it burns battery pretty fast, because it’s so easy to turn on and off, it changes the way you use it. You tend to turn it on to investigate something rather than to just walk along. As a result the torch actually lasts quite a long time. And again, it is SO bright. I had a competition with a maglite of similar size and the magtac wins hands down. It has a far brighter beam, wider andle of cover and the light that it gives off is much whiter than bulb torches because of the LED. As a result you see much clearer colour. Torch is light and ergonomic and sturdy as anything. Feels like it will last 1000 years. Good buy. 🙂

Very bright light! Everything I was looking for! Very well made! Got it to mount on my AR and I’m very happy with it small, lite, and bright! Fits in a one inch scope ring takes a little effort but does fit! I recommend the weaver two peace top scope ring was easer to make it fit! Looks great on my AR!

Ottima luminosit e davvero comoda da usare grazie alle sole due modalit difunzionamento, bella e progettata bene. Solo due pecche ( che comunque rendono l’oggetto valido): la lente , non in vetro, non proprio resistentissima all’usura e i graffi gi dopo qualche utilizzo si vedono; nella parte tartarugata si vedono chiari segni di una fusione approssimativa ( solo come finitura superficiale).
5 stelle se avessero messo la lente in vetro o Lexa

I love the light output. It feels heavy duty and light, the improved knurled grip gives it a better hold over the previous models.
I used to use the Maglite XL150 thinking it was super bright, but after comparing both, I’d definitely recommend the Mag-Tac.
The only drawback (in my opinion) is the cost of the replacement batteries. But it depends on how often you use it.

Very powerful for such a small torch. Easily fits in the pocket and very light in weight. Perhaps a bit expensive for a hand torch but I guess you get what you pay for. Having said that, I am thinking about getting another one for keeping in the car 🙂

Great, heavy duty light. Super bright light in a compact package. The strobe would be good for warning motorists that you have a break down or dazzling a would be attacker. It's much, much better and brighter than the Coast brand lights I own. I liked it so much I ordered three! MADE IN THE USA!

Puissance d’clairage vraiment impressionnant pour cette lampe, on est surpris au vue de sa taille.
Le seul bmol c’est les piles qui sont un peu spciales, d’o l’toile en moins.
Enfin ce n’est pas grave je les commanderai sur Amazon.

This one's a keeper.
This light is exactly what I needed. I have no complaints about the plastic lens because I have never broken a MagLite lens. The momentary on for this light is perfect and is exactly what I needed to be able to signal for work (Military). I have had difficulty finding a new light that still had a momentary on option that was usable. This one works perfectly and if you click is twice very fast than the light will stay on. The momentary on is the default setting, which is great because it prevents it from being clicked on and staying on while in a bag or being worn. It also allowed me to signal well. Three fast clicks gets me the strobe feature which is done well. The batteries last at least as long as advertised and the light stays just as bright almost right up until the batteries die. The new version of the Inova lights and Streamlights lose a lot of their brightness as the battery life progresses. The MagTac survived going on an exercise with me and is now a permanent part of my kit. The plastic clip is preferred because it will not bend by accident. I tried applying some force to this one and it seems quite strong. I also stops the light from rolling when placed on a flat surface.
This light doesn’t disappoint me on any level. Brighter, lasts longer, and built better than the other mainstream competition. I don’t like some of the no-name brands that offer brighter lights because I find that I can’t depend on them and they are not made very well. I exposed this one to rain and freezing rain for almost a week straight without any difficulties. I’m glad I bought this light.

I'm a fan of Maglite. I bought their xl50 and a couple of xl200's and then gave this a try. This is the best yet. Very bright and easy to use. It also works with tenergy rechargeable 123 batteries. They seem to be half the duration of Duracell ultras but are rechargeable.

La lampe est puissante et solide. Il y a trois modes, le seule dfaut est de ne pas terminer les piles jusqu’ puisement. Donc la lampe coupe sans prvenir quand les piles ne sont plus assez puissante dommage.

This is a compact and powerful flashlight that is an ideal everyday (everynight?) carry item.
It is extremely bright for its size and is capable of producing enough illumination for the vast majority of applications. The beam will easily dazzle somebody across the street and thus is an excellent tool for security applications.
The small size of the flashlight means that it can be easily concealed and can be comfortably carried on the belt even while driving.
The body is made from steel and the flashlight has a built to last feel. The belt clip is strong and slips over the end of the flashlight and is then tightened. This makes it very strong and eliminates any chance of it coming off while being carried. The light is activated by a switch on the back of the flashlight. The way the switch functions means that it is possible to activate any of the three modes instantly without having to cycle through them. The switch, like the rest of the flashlight, has a solid built to last feel to it.
The are three settings. A quick on/off flash, continuous on and then a strobe that people with epilepsy should probably avoid. I’m not sure what function the strobe serves other than to possibly assist when defending against an attacker.
Overall a nice little tool for a variety of uses.

I've had the this flashlight for the past three days and I love it. It's bright enough to light up anything you aim it at. The body is very well built and isn't to heavy for its size. While surefire has a flashlight with over 600 lumen for about the same price as the Maglite Mag-Tac the size of the head is just to big to carry I your front pants pocket. This flashlite is perfect if your looking to carry it on you on a daily basis. It's simple perfect for it size. And I can't wait to see what Maglite come out with next.

The tool supplied broke as I tried to install the clip, but otherwise this is a great torch. This was easily fixed with a hex key anyway. The MAG-TAC has a very bright white beam, probably more light than you will ever need from a torch. It is smaller than you might think too.

Great! I say GREAT little light. Right size, convenient clip, rugged. I've bought a few little lights and have liked them...but this is hands down the best. This little light is B R I G H T!!! In my field I have to depend on my light. This works! Only dislike is the batteries. 123CR batteries suck in that they're pricy.

This flashlight is very nice, fits good in the pocket and its power is outrageous. I use this product for inspection in dark places and it fits very well my requirements.

Perfect Gift for men/fathers
People think I am joking when I say if you don’t know what to get your husband or father for a birthday/Christmas then get him this flashlight. (to be honest any MagLite is a great gift but this one is special!)
The power of the light is phenomenal, 320 lumens has such a bright and effective range it is hard to believe so much light comes from such a small thing.
It is approximately 5 inchs long, uses LED, and has a great rugged anodized build which comes in black, grey, red and possibly other colors. I have 2 of these (I just seriously think they are brilliant) a grey and a black and could not say which I prefer.
I also like the on off switch being on the base, which for me is just a great natural place and so good design.
We have also given these as gifts to both my wife’s and my father who were equally as happy with them as I was (much to my wife’s surprise). I think it is hard for someone to be displeased with a product that excels and surprises.
Admittedly this is on the expensive side for a flashlight and for a Maglite, but don’t be fooled by thinking it is like every other flashlight as it just is not.
One thing to note – it is so very bright that for close up lighting (say if you wanted to look at a splinter in your finger) it is so bright it almost makes it hard to see, so you have to point it slightly to one side so to reduce the amount of direct light be shone on the thing you are looking at. Interesting situation to have, and not a normal one, but one I thought I would mention. For every other type of daily use or for when you just want a super bright flashlight, it is perfect.

Great flashligh
This is exactly what you’d expect. Its a solid little flashlight, great for one handed use while holding a pistol in the other, as in a home defense scenario. Its not weirdly bright with 8000 lumens or whatever but its definitely blindingly bright if shined in the eyes, and will illuminate an entire room quite adequately. This is a mostly US made item from a quality US company at a relatively affordable price. Similarly specced flashlights made in the US are quite a bit more expensive, though I dont have enough experience with surefire and the like to know if theyre worth the high price they command.
The light is intuitive to use and ergonomic to hold. Comes with a kind of cheap plastic pants clip but it does what its intended to do, and is sturdy. It just seems cheap because its plastic but that’s just an antiquated notion of quality, half the time modern polymers are just as if not more durable than metal, while simultaneously saving weight (just look at what glock did with polymer framed handguns).
Bottom line, this is a great purchase.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this flashlight after reading some reviews on Candle Power Forums, but it had the specs I was looking for, so I thought I would try it and return it if I didn’t like it.
Light: I was pleasantly surprised as it was much brighter than expected. The light is very similar to the HIDs on my car.
Grip: I have large hands and it fits comfortably as far as tactical flashlights go.
Clip: Most of the complaints around this flashlight are about the “cheapness” or lack of quality of the included clip. Sadly, I have to agree. I do not carry a flashlight around with me everyday, nor do I put them in my pocket and walk around, so the clip is a non issue for me. The only reason I continue to keep the clip on is to prevent it from rolling when I place it down. If you are looking for an every day carry and a clip is important to you, be aware that this will most likely break in due time.
Overall I am happy with this flashlight and would buy it again as well as recommend it.

I love this flashlight! There are times when I can't carry and I bring this little light along. With the proper training it makes for a great self defense tool. Super bright output and Mag quality as you'd expect, pick one up with some rechargeable batteries and you're good to go!

I am very happy with this flashlight. It takes a drop well, too: I accidentally dropped it from approximately three feet without issue. I highly recommend it. The price can sometimes be a bit high but I feel anything less than $70 is a deal.

Bright torch
Awsome torch. Heavy and solid metal torch. Extremely bright, very very bright. Love this torch. Can reach more than 300 metres without losing strenght.

This is my second MagLite and I intentionally purchased this one for its size, reviews, and because it is a MagLite. I received this little gem last night and when I turned it on I literally could not believe how incredibly bright the light was for a flashlight of its size. The 3 function button switch is really slick and the quality is unmatched. Pure made in the USA quality through and through. I rarely write reviews but was so blown away by this product that I just had to let everyone know that this is the last and only flashlight you will ever need. I would give it 6 out of 5 stars if possible.

Tough as balls, bright as hell. I use this at work, at home, walking the dog, hunting, when the power goes out, whatever. I love the cr123 batteries too, long life and fairly easy to find. Maybe a little large for everyday carry (in the pocket), but I keep it in a sheath on my backpack which works just fine.

Easy to operate, feels great in your hand, very rugged, beam focus is fantastic. Much brighter than even the 2D or 3D. You could easily disorient someone with this, especially on the strobe mode. It’s also small enough to be placed into an everyday bike light mount. The clip included if made of a reinforced plastic and is fairly bendable but I can assure you than it won’t break any time soon.
The batteries for this are pretty expensive and they don’t last all that long. So I don’t know how many of you would want to use this as an everyday torch because it will quickly become cumbersome having to constantly replace the cells. You can buy rechargeable but these will of course be inferior to proper lithium ion cells by Duracell or alike. They take a special type of cell which is usually used in things like alarm systems. CR 123 type. They’re also 3V batteries, so 6V in total. That is the reason why this little thing is so much brighter than the bigger D cell torches.
Still, I keep this by my side all the time now, I might buy another just to have in the car. Excellent piece of kit and highly recommended to everyone.

Maglite make excellent lamps and this is no exception. It is working beautifully so small with such a lot of power.
This torch is great. For its size it is super bright and it feels like a premium torch due to the build quality. The strobing effect is excellent. I would recommend this torch for anyone working in the emergency services or security

This is a great value for the money. I’ve been using it since July 2013. It uses 2 – 123A 3volt batteries. The flashlight has an on/off button on the back (bottom). One click (press of the button) is a temporary light for as long as the button is pressed. Two clicks and the light is on until clicked again to turn it off. Three clicks and the light becomes a strobe. The light output of 320 lumens does not have a reduced setting as some other models have – however – that said I purchased it as utility for everyday use and emergencies. It has been used around the home, in my truck and carried in the field for two months. It has endured rain and hot weather and continues to function flawlessly. Keep in mind the flashlight does get mildly hot from use because of the technology used to produce the high intensity light. It comes with an optional belt clip and has a scalloped head. The scalloped head has protected the front of the light on several occasions when dropped. The belt clip is very handy and holds the light securely to your belt or in your pocket. The light is made in the USA and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a dependable very bright flashlight that is highly durable and a great value for the money.

A really nice flashlight, this is a 3-Mode light with HI-LOW-STROBE which actually lets you do signaling. The frame is aluminum and has a tactical bezel and it's a good competitor for some over-priced Surefire's. It's really worth the money; it's made in the U.S.A and brings a plastic clip. The clip is made of a good quality polymer which is quite tough, the output is impressive and has an adjustable beam like all mag-lites. I completely recommend this flashlight for all those flashlights freaks like me.

A lot brighter than I had expected. comes close to my old surefire in brightness at a cheaper price. we"ll see if it lasts as long. would be nice to see some tac mounting hardware and a tail switch.

It is so light, and easy to carry, and yet has the power to illuminate with a better light pattern than it's much heavier and bulkier predecessors from Maglite. I think I'll get another one of these for the car and one for the garage, and retire the D-cells!

The MagLite Mag-Tec LED flashlite exceeded my expectations. It is incredibly bright for such a compact design. I will be ordering more of them to put into all my vehicles but will keep the orginal one in the house.

"Made in America" sells it for me!!. Cost and Quallity were also factors for my choice of Mag Lite products. I have several Mag lites. This one is very bright and is of very high quality. I also have the XL200 which has variable light output which is a nice feature (Hint hint).

The clip is plastic but appears sturdy and has held up well so far. I was able to illuminate a tree in my backyard from 150 yards away at night... Impressive for how small this thing is!

This is definitely the brightest compact flashlight I have ever seen. In a dark room this light actually makes it impossible to keep your eyes open until the pupils adjust after several seconds. I would recommend this light to any one needing an intruder deterrent. The strobe effect is awesome.

Extremely bright for its size and the quality is top notch, I like it over my Maglite 2d led pro. The only downfall is that it uses the 123 battery that are at least $10 to replace. Well worth it though.

very high quality i’ve come to expect from Maglight. I have always appreciated Maglights quality and price.
the only gripe i have is i wish there was a low power mode so it dsnt suck the life out of the baterries. Its not a deal killer i still love it and will always be a Maglight fan.

Habe diese Mag Tac nun seit einer Woche. Sie liegt unglaublich gut in der Hand und ist so leicht, dass sie in der Jackentasche nicht strt. Mit dem robusten Clip kann man sie problemlos auch an einem dicken Holstergrtel befestigen.
Bei den angegebenen 320 Lumen Leuchtkraft kann man sagen, dass es sich auch tatschlich um 320 Lumen handelt!
Die von Mag Lite gewhlten Modis sind perfekt finde ich- man drckt drauf und hat Licht! Nicht wie bei anderen Lampen, wo man sich erst durch zig Modis schalten muss bis man den gewnschten hat.
Zur Batterielaufzeit gibt Mag Lite 4 Stunden an. Kann dazu allerdings noch keine Aussage treffen, auer dass ich sie nun schon seit einer Woche mehrmals tglich im Gebrauch habe und die Batterien immer noch halten ohne dass ein Leistungsabfall zu bemerken wre.
I have been waiting for Mag Intruments to enter the modern flashlight world for a long time. I currently own both models, 320 and 310 lumen models. These are the quality product I expect from Mag. I am totally sastified with these lights.
