MAG-TAC LED Torch
The MAG-TAC LED is a true tactical torch, designed for professional users but also available to civilians. An aggressive knurled design allows for a secure grip and the body has twice the impact resistance of a standard Maglite torch. The MAG-TAC uses lithium CR123 batteries for high performance. The tail cap is shrouded to avoid accidental activation and the body has a matte finish. This tactical version of the MAG-TAC has been designed with input from military tactical consultants and has been tested and recommended by the National Tactical Officers Association. In addition to its standard features, it has a crowned bezel and features a high energy 12 Hz strobe for disorienting an attacker at close quarters. It comes with CR123 batteries and a pocket clip with a hole sized to accommodate a para cord lanyard.

Maglite USA Quality
I use a torch every night in work I have brought hundreds of torches so I have lived experience with torches I’ve owned all the new jazzy expensive chinesse torches that have supper lumens power but for some reason I keep coming back to maglite.and its the same thing every time DEPENDABILITY MEANING WHEN I WANT THE TORCH TO WORK IT WORKS… you can drop it use it for defence smash a window use it as a hammer and still it works. good old maglite and magtac in my experience it might not be the Brightest lumens but it’s still the best God bless U.S.AMERICAN Quality…

Direi Ottima. Non la uso a scopo tattico, ma per un discorso fatto di comodit e ricambi garantiti nel tempo(led di ricambio e altri componenti). Leggera e dal fascio luminoso notevole con clip in plastica per il taschino del giacchetto o pantalone. Soddisfatto 🙂

Es un tamao medio tirando a grande, su manejo es muy intuitivo, pero creo que da poca potencia de lumens con respecto a otras de su misma categora.
Luego slo funciona con 2 bateras de litio 16340 o con pilas R123, no hay opcin de una 18650 ya que el cilindro interior est reducido de dimetro a esa medida

6 year review
Its build quality is excellent. I don’t carry it in flights as it can be considered as a Kabutan, and they will create a fuss. Would give it 5 rating, but for the issues of using it continuously for about 6 to 8 min, it gets super hot, so not for continuous use. Else its excellent.
The clip is excellent and strong after so many years of usage.
This flashlight is made in the USA, and works well. I am still on my original set of 123 batteries that came with the flashlight, so I can’t comment on the life span the batteries will see.

Very well built and easy to use flashlight, a little over 4.5 inches with a couple light modes , rear button on cap.
Maglite is a great company that’s been around for a long time and is made in the USA
It’s looks brand new for being used, was a little concerned at first as it was very dim. Tossed the battery’s that came with it and put in fresh ones and lit up the room. Very well built light and seems quite durable.

I think this is a great light. Extremely bright and well built. However, when I bought it I didn’t realize that there is a functional difference between the scalloped and plane bezel. If you get the plain bezel, you will have a high (first click), a low (two quick clicks), and a strobe function (three quick clicks). This was what I really wanted.
If you get the scalloped bezel you get a click-on/release-off, two quick clicks – on, three quick clicks strobe. I have come to like the “pulse” feature, however, a low setting is nice when working in close where the power of the light can be a little blinding (like trying to read a label in a dark tight space like an engine compartment).
