Compact and lightweight, only 117mm long
The DTD154Z is a cordless Impact Driver, powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included), with electronic 3 stage impact power selection, High, Medium and Low to deliver up to 3,800 ipm, 3,600 rpm. The brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life.
Features T-Mode, automatic electronic controller that downshifts and reduces rotation and impact speed prior to driving the screw into place, and is engineered to minimise screw thread stripping, breaking and damage to the work, and a battery fuel gauge. It has a convenient one touch sliding ¼” hex chuck for easy bit instalation and removal.

Unbelievable torque and battery life
I bought this to go along with a new brushless drill and I am seriously impressed. The power and battery life is incredIBLE. My last Makita drill lasted 20 years, If I get half that I’ll be more than happy. Outstanding quality.

Worth the extra compared to cheaper models
Vast improvement over my previous makita impact driver. Much improved speed control, lighter and shorter for getting into tight spaces.

One of the best tools I have ever bought. Works much better than my older combination cordless drill and screwdriver.
It’s worth the extra for the settings
Absolutely love the settings on this. I often use the slow or T setting to make sure I don’t go straight through the plasterboard or split the wood.

Very robust and easy to handle, maybe a smaller battery than the 5ah that I use would make it even more comfortable when using it above waist height.

As a joiner/carpenter having a good drill is important. This is an excellent impact driver, powerful but lightweight. With 3yrs warranty you can’t go wrong.
This is my first impact driver. It arrived and I thought what’s this little thing I’ve wasted my money on!
But To my suprize it’s tiny lightweight and packs a real punch, it comes with a handy belt clip I’ve used it everyday for a Whole week (5days) I havnt had to change the battery yet (5amp) I’ve hung 10x. doors, fitted 10x work tops, fitted loads of shelving, driven in a couple of dozen techscrews into 4mm steel, fitted kitchen units plus loads of other miscellaneous jobs.
Has a handy light on it, has 3 digitally operated speed settings that are a little fiddly to switch as there is only one button and it operates the torch/settings etc.

And the new medel of the machita of 2019 or 2018 is much more powerful than the other drivers it seems small at first glance but you are amazed. If the screw is not unscrewed, it is not difficult to break any type of screw or bolt that is very satisfied by Makita

Atornillador de impacto Makita de 1/4″ con motor BL sin escobillas. Para usar con bateras de 18V litio-ion. Se ha utilizado con bateras de 3 Ah sin problema alguno.
Como todos los productos de 18v de Makita que terminan en z, viene en caja de cartn con instrucciones y garanta. Se puede poner en caja makpac tipo 2 con inserto correspondiente y queda protegida de golpes etc.
Relacin peso/potencia muy buena, es compacto lo que permite trabajar en lugares con difcil acceso.
Dispone de 3 velocidades de atornillado:
– Hard: 0-1,100 ipm
– Medium: 0-2,100 ipm
– Soft: 0-3,600 ipm
Adems tiene un moto T, especial para tornillos autotaladrantes, que baja la velocidad a Medium justo al entrar el impacto. Tiene tambin velocidad variable en el gatillo con modo reversible, y luz led desconectable por el usuario si se mantiene pulsado el modo “T” unos segundos.
Calidad esperada viniendo de Makita. Funciona de maravilla por lo que ha cumplido mis expectativas ya que lo compr por 83,35 en septiembre de 2018.

I had a “brushed” version of this, but the power increase in the brushless is worth paying the extra for, as are the speed settings, putting screws into plaster board on the low setting for instance is made much straightforward.

Ergonomics are spot on, no quick chuck but for the price it’s not a major issue, have used it to hit things into place and so far nothing. Just for reference it’s quicker than the newest Milwaukee fuel M18 brushless impact driver (side by side comparison)

This impact driver is a hell of an upgrade from my brushed model which just lost power and would barely put in a 6-inch screw. Makita always makes a great cordless tool, and are always improving them between models and this is no exception. I have had this drill for about 2 months and is doing wonders.

The speed/ power control are very useful so you do not over torque screws. It’s a really good, small and light but extremely powerful tool.

Been using this for some time now. Managed to put down floorboards with screws and no pilot holes needed. Didn’t damage one of the heads due to the impact action. This is now my go to tool. Only wish I had purchased one sooner as it would have saved me so much time compared to my old electric driver which kept rounding the heads of screws

Super reu pour noel je l’ai teste dans du bois dur chne avec vis de 125 magique !! Ca rentre comme dans du beurre et sans mal ,galement teste avec tirfont sans prs perage ! Mais l il a cass au trois quart machine gnial et puissante je recommande
