The DTW1002Z is powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included) to deliver up to 2,200 ipm and 1,800 rpm. It has an electronic 3 stage impact power selection, hard / medium / soft, to reduce fault tightening, variable speed control by trigger and forward / reverse rotation.
The DTW1002Z is maintenance free, due to the brushless motor efficiently using energy to match torque and rpm to the changing demands of the application and eliminating carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life.

Got this for the odd fastener my smaller Makita impact won’t break loose. This one is a beast, heavy but that’s to be expected. Works well on my 3Ah battery’s, have only found a couple things it couldn’t break free but neither could the air gun. No complaints, it’s a great tool.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Robustes schweres Teil, was ich bentige um Reifen zu wechseln womit ich bis jetzt sehr zufrieden bin, aber die Zeit fr Reifenmontagen fngt ja ehrst ende des Jahres an.
Ein bisschen schwer aber mehr Power als mein pressluftschrauber und kein Kabel oder schlauch gefrickel. Radmuttern sind selbst auf niedrigster stufe kein problem. Beim anziehen nur mit ganz wenig Power arbeiten denn nach fest kommt ab. (Lsst sich aber gut dosieren ).
You really can’t believe a 1/2″ drive can be this powerful. Be careful you don’t go crazy as it will snap bolts. You’ll be glad it has 3 power settings.

I love this tool, a little expensive but when you use it only once, you will fall in love with it. I change all my tires with this power tool and its so easy. I keep it in my truck at all times good thing i did. I had a tire blow out last week on the high way and i was able to change my tire in minutes. Love this tool !!!

Prima di acquistarlo l’ho confrontato a lungo con il Milwaukee, come forza bruta sono praticamente uguali, ho preferito questo perch ha un ammortizzatore tra il corpo e la batteria, questo la protegge dai bruschi contraccolpi che potrebbe prendere.

3 times the torque of my pneumatic impact, and none of the setup hassle of running a compressor. The 3 settings are helpful for more control, and it’s even quite manageable in terms of weight.
I’m using a genuine Makita 3.0Ah battery with it, as that’s what I had already, and it still lasts a reasonable amount of time per charge. I do plan on getting a pair of 4.0Ah batteries for extra run time.

Attrezzo come descrizione…mi dava come oggetto usato… Ma era perfetto molto potente , io lo ho diversi mesi ed un buon atrezzo ed originale..
Sto ancora ridendo perch, oltre alla valutazione complessiva, amazon mi chiede di valutare la leggerezza. No, ragazzi, e’ un macigno. Ma questo non gli toglie le 5 stelle. E’ pesantissimo, siamo a 4 kg e oltre, con batteria da 4Ah. Ma chi acquista un bestione del genere, sa che dovr fare allenamento, oppure riposarsi spesso se lo deve usare con continuit.
E non lo si acquista certo per la leggerezza, ma per smontare la tour eiffell o il golden gate!
Ha una potenza allucinante. Occhio, perch se volete fare i fighi e prenderlo per smontare le ruote all’auto, potreste fare grossi danni. A svitare, nessun problema, perch con 1000 Nm vi svita anche le ruote del trattore, ma se chiudete le viti della ruota di un’auto con questo coso, rischiate di spaccare tutto. Quindi prendetelo per lavori davvero pesanti.
Sull’apparecchio in s, nulla da dire, tranne un particolare: la calotta in alluminio ha una verniciatura un po’ delicata. Ok che non e’ un soprammobile, ma strisciarla al primo utilizzo fa sempre scappare la bestemmia. Per il resto e’ un Makita, un nome, una garanzia. Bello, solido, ben rifinito.
Io l’ho comprato senza batterie e uso delle batterie di concorrenza ed e’ un mostro anche cos. Penso che con una 1860 originale sia ancora pi cattivo.

Das Ding hat Power ohne Ende. Mutter von Antriebswelle lsen bei einem 32 Jahre alten Benz… Kein Problem. Ist aber schon recht schwer. Aber top.
Despus de haber probado varias pistolas, sta es sin duda la mejor de todas, en cuanto a potencia.
Para tareas de aflojado, de momento ningn tornillo se ha resistido, aflojndolos en la primera posicin de fuerza de las tres que tiene.
La parte negativa es lo voluminosa y pesada que es, pero no impide trabajar bien con ella.
Totalmente recomendada.

Finalmente un avvitatore serio…ho comprato il makita dtw700 prima di acquistare questo e sebbene tira fino a 700 nm con la batteria carica non riuscito a svitare un bullone della ruota della macchina che avevo tirato in precedenza a 140 nm…stasera ho provato con questo avvitatore da 1.000 nm e con la batteria quasi scarica e la velocit al minimo si svitato subito senza problemi…certe volte per sicurezza sempre meglio acquistare il modello pi potente per stare tranquilli…consiglio a tutti questo avvitatore…
Sopra le mie aspettative ! Non ha paura di nessun bullone duro da svitare ! Provare a svitare prima con velocit bassa e poi aumentare se nn svita ! Ma gi a seconda velocita svita bulloni di ruota di un camion ! Lo avessi comprato prima !
Unbelievable I have a Snap on battery impact gun which cost 950 this at nearly a quarter of the price does exactly the same jobs, removing wheel nuts off my Dads Scania with ease.Crankshaft bottom pully nuts which on most cars are notoriously tight no issues for this thing Amazing.
Dieses ist nicht meine erste Makita Maschine, deshalb wurde diese auch ohne Akku gekauft, da schon welche vorhanden sind.
Im Prinzip habe ich diesen Schlagschrauber gekauft, um besonders festsitzende Schrauben an meinem PKW zu lsen, wo mein anderer 300Nm Schlagschrauber nicht weitergekommen ist. Das ist nun mit diesem kein Problem mehr.
Kleiner Tipp: Falls nicht vorhanden, bestellen Sie gleich einen Satz qualitativ gute Schlagnsse, Verlngerungen und Gelenk dazu. Dann kann dieses Gert seine Kraft voll entfalten.
Ich wrde es immer wieder kaufen.
Das Teil hat so dermaen Kraft, dass selbst alte Achsschrauben nur so rausflutschen. Wir haben auch noch einen Milwaukee um mehr Geld, der Makita ist absolut ebenbrtig!

Ich habe bereits den Hazet 9012m und war der Meinung das der ausreichen wrde. Allerdings gab es jede Saison wieder das Problem das die Rder am T5 (angezogen mit 180Nm) nur mit Radkreuz und Verlngerung zu ffnen waren. Der Hazet (trotz grossem Achlauchdurchmesser usw) schaffte es nicht, war aber fr alles andere top auf Grund der Grsse. Aber: dieser Makita lst alle Schrauben in der kleinsten Stufe mit einem mden Lcheln!!! Ich bin sehr begeistert davon. Mich rgert das ich ihn erst jetzt gekauft habe
Und das der Akku angeblich wackelt (andere Bewertung) soll wohl so sein, denn wenn man sich das Gert mal genauer ansieht wird man es verstehen.
Ich werde weitere Tests damit machen. Aber bisher bin ich sehr positiv berrascht.

Yes its was as expected, as a heavy duty impact wrench which deals easily with wheel nuts etc, my rating reflected the high cost of the item which would otherwise have been 5 star. I’m sure Makita have produced some duff tools in the past but not found one yet and I’ve got quite a collection for a DIYer.

Enfin !!! Cette cl choc ou boulonneuse est parfaite. Utilis pour changement des pneus hiver mais servira pour la mcanique c’est certain…. Trs puissante, 3 rglages en mode serrage… Je conseil le minimum pour les roues.

Je trouvais juste un peu surprenant le jeu entre la fin de la poigne et l’emplacement de l’accu…. Mais apparemment c’est tout fait normal.

Hauptschlich nutze ich das Gert zum Reifenwechseln meiner Autos, egal wie fest die Schraube sitzt – sie ist zu 100% offen!
Bitte achtet darauf Schlagnsse zu verwenden, die normalen aus dem (auch vom guten) Knarrenkasten zerstrt das Teil recht gerne

Yes, it *IS* heavy but not unduly so but any concerns about the weight vanish when, with only a few uggaduggas, your stubborn nuts (or in my case, coach screws that were just too damn tight to fasten even with a socket set) just seem to miraculously fasten or unfasten themselves…
I’m now thinking of sinking a large steel rod into concrete in our back garden and holding the world to ransom … either pay me one million dollars (does quick Dr. Evil style pinkie finger to mouth) or I shall clamp the Makita to the rod and stop the planet rotating! … Sounds like a plan, no?

This thing removed rusty old nuts and bolts from a 21 year old BMW (e46). That was on the low setting. As suggested by another reviewer, I also bought an extension rod and a universal joint. Altogether this thing can now reach anywhere and handle any job. It is super heavy though.

This impact is exceptional well built, and extremely powerful. It will destroy normal sockets be warned. I paid for a Makita impact set and glad I did.
It is a heavy brute and you know you are hefting it if holding it under a car out stretched. It has not failed yet to shift a bolt or nut. I used it to spin off a 36mm nut off if a L200 drive shaft that had been on for 178000 miles, whilsted off much to out surprise!

It’s not a toy use proper impact sockets or you will split ordinary ones .. I’m not sure if Newton metres mean much to people but the breaking force is equal to a fifteen stone man grunting on the end of a four foot bar .. a fully charged battery is easily enough to change all four wheels on my tractor . It is reassuringly solid and very powerful

If you are looking at a getting a powerful impact gun then look no further. This is amazing. It makes job so easy. It’s so worth the money. I used it on wheels, brake callipers, suspension struts etc. Everything was effortless for this gun. I love it.

This is a piece of kit. Blazed in 8″ concrete fixings with minimal fuss. Not used it on my trailer wheel nuts yet, the reason for the purchase. Ideal for steel framed buildings and such like. Should of bought it sooner.

C’est gros c’est lourd, mais c’est efficace, et c’est bien le but recherch quand on achte ce modle.

Einfach umschaltbar in drei Stufen und kompatibel zum Rest mit Makita 18V System.
Wirklich ein Drehmoment Monster. Bremssatteltrgerschrauben an einem Golf 6 zeigten keinen groen Widerstand. Mit Ratsche oder Verlngerung keine Chance. Nur Schlagschrauber Verlngerung oder Gelenke verwenden, alles andere wird schonungslos nachgeben. Bei den Radschrauben meint man sie seien nicht richtig angezogen trotz 120 Nm. Die Schrauben fliegen nur so raus. Maschine hat allerdings richtig Gewicht, braucht es aber auch fr die Power von bis zu 1000 Nm mit 5Ah Akku. Was fr richtige Mnner und bestimmt kein Kindergeburtstag. Wrde den Makita sofort wieder kaufen. Ist seinen Preis wert, schafft so ziemlich alle Schrauben bei einem Auto.

Super Drehmoment,gut dosierbar.Evt. ein Viertel-punktabzug fr nicht ganz exakt passende Feder als Sicherung fr Stecknuss.Viel zu schwergngig,nach Entfernen des Grates ist alles gut.Sehr zu empfehlen.
Das Ding ist der Wahnsinn. Auf kleinster Stufe Autorder. Auf Stufe 2 gehen Tracktor Schrauben ab. Stufe 3 hab ich noch nie bentigt.
Der Makita Schlagschrauber ist Mega!! Top!! Ich will nicht mehr ohne diesen Schlagschrauber arbeiten! Der Preis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt!! Mega Power auch die dicksten und fest gerosteten Schrauben, haben mit diesem Makita Gert keine Chance!

I have been looking at this impact gun for sometime on amazon and when the time came to replace the timing belt on my car i pulled the trigger and purchased.
So far i have not been disappointed, took the crank bolt and wheels off with ease, just hope it keeps up to it.
A couple of good points, its wellmade, and i like the fact mine is made in the united kingdom, i did ask this question but no one came back with a conclusive answer.
All in all very please.

Wir haben diesen Schlagschauber an allen Mglichen Schrauben an Autos ausprobiert und er hat bei keiner einzigen Probleme sie zu lsen.!
Was mich gewundert hat sogar festgegammelte Antriebswellen Schrauben lste er ohne Probleme wo mein Hazet Luftschrauber schon Probleme hatte.
Fazit Mann bekommt was man bezahlt .

My corded impact bit the dust and I have other Makita cordless tools so this was the sensible choice. It works as good as any corded impact but without the cord. Not as much power as my air impact but it is more convenient and I rarely need that much power. The only downside is that it is a little heavy.

Aber selbst 32er Mttern die ca.20 Jahre nicht bewegt wrden, lassen sich nach ein paar Schlgen lsen… Aufpassen bei festziehen mit dem Schrauber, er schafft ohne Probleme die Schraube abzureien, wenn man das Drehmoment nicht drosselt.

Hasta ahora, con bateras originales, tanto como piratas, no he tenido ningn problema. Es grande y pesa bastante, pero para la potencia que tiene, es lgico. Si no, hay opciones mas ligeras por menos precio y menos torque. Hasta ahora, ha quitado todo lo que le pongas por delante. Es una pasada.
