I bought this because I keep forgetting to take my keys with me. I live in a retirement home and sometimes staff are there with a spare key. Out of hours, a contractor has to come out therefore it was better for me to keep a key outside the front door. This one is excellent value for money. Solid dependable box to put key in and safe
Nearly all the Apartments in my Block have these or similiar as its so easy to get locked out by the front door closing from wind or forgetting the Key.
Installation is easy as all you do is mark the hole positions, Drill and the rail plugs and screws come with the lock box, once drilled correctly the Box is held on the wall Tight. And the Combination lock can be easily set for a personal combination.
Although a 5 star product, a Determined Burgler could get the box off the wall and opened, but this would take time and noise, so much that someone would see or hear it happening.
It does the Job for its purpose.

I was astonished at how small it was inside
While I should have have checked before it was fitted, the advertised photo shows more than 4 keys comfortably stored. My small brass ring holding 1 set of 4 normal keys, barely fits!
Having said that, it’s probably the best known style and make used in the UK, and renowned for being impenetrable.
Slightly small for 1 x Yale key + 1x small deadlock key. However, by putting the keys on a small ring, with no fob, they fit into the box quite easily.
I had no trouble fitting it, using standard red plugs and drilling as small a hole as the plugs will fit; this made the screws very tight. The screws supplied are long enough to go through render into the brick/block behind.
It’s a solid and well-made box. A bit fiddly to open and will be difficult in poor light – but that may be a problem with my eyesight.
Using this for a vulnerable member of the family and it’s easy to fit and reset

I bought a cheap version of this which stopped working when a small tension spring fell off. This one is a lot stronger and more sturdy, better built. I fully recommend it.

Good product but a few niggles on design. 1 an internal hook for keys would be really useful to stop them falling out
2. What drill bit size do you need ! It in the instructions at all !
Strong construction, this item comes recommend by my friends and family, installed in twenty minutes plus there is a sliding cover to protect the code wheels. Excellent for the price.
Not the cheapest on the market but then you pay for a quality brand. Really easy to fit and very simple instructions to follow, came well packaged and with quick delivery.

As a tip try and fit it under a window ledge or dry spot as to extend the life of the unit.
The keysafe size is very good compared to some of them you find on the market. It looks and feels very sturdy but the open lever is temperamental, we have learned the trick to do it properly, not sure it’s just this piece or all of them are made like these. You just need to get used to it.
Pleased with this. Easy to use and change the combination. We use it for occasional use. I’m not sure that I would use it to keep the key in permanently, but that’s more my wariness, rather than the products suitability.

Handy to have. Code easy to change and select but I find the lever to open the door a bit small. There are no slotted holes on the back so you need very precise drilling skills when installing on brick or similar walls. There is only about 1mm leeway per hole if you want all 4 holes to align with your wall plugs.
Bought this instead of wall mount key safe, inconspicuous key safe which people would assume was just a padlock

Very easy to fit. It’s strong and secure, and there’s plenty of room for the keys.
I’ve been using this for the last year and i am very happy how its held up to the weather. We’ve only had one problem with it when the door covering the numbers wouldn’t open, but a little oil sorted that straight out, it was caused by someone leaving the little cover open in the rain – so totally avoidable and not a manufacturing issue.

I live in a block private flats where we have had these key safes installed for some 5 years. I have bought this new one on the rear of my flat so that emergency services have access their as well as the main entrance. They are easy to install and as our experience of our existing safes shows they are secure and reliable
With all the directions followed, this works perfectly. You do have to rely on others to scramble up the numbers again after they replace the key but nothing is perfect. It was easy to set the code and easy to install.

This Keysafe was easy to set up and works well.
Installed in just a few minutes and it is very easy to set the combination. This is a replacement for a previous one just the same for which the combination was forgotten and it took several goes with a disc cutter and heavy hammer to break that open so it’s pretty sturdy.

Straightforward to install and is secure. It’s easy and reliable to use. Really only practical for a single key if used regularly. My main bug bear with it, is that it’s not easy to hold the key in place during closing. There’s not much space and nowhere to easily hang or support the key. However I’ve got round this (manufacturer please note!) with some blu-tack to stick the key to. No problems now- simplz
Although I’ve fitted Master Lock products before, this one was very easy to fit onto the wall and set the code. Since it has been fitted various carers have used it to gain access to the property and my elderly relative without any problems.
Great robust product, purchased to go outside a holiday let so guests can have access and leave keys safe whilst out. Had it a while now and still working well, waterproof and simple to change password number when guests leave.
Would recommend and good value compared with others available.
I have bought a couple of these for various places as they are fab. Sturdy, robust and very safe. Only thing I would stay is if you are putting up in a rural beach location it did need some WD40 to keep it loosen up.
Personally I don’t think you can do better than these; they are pretty much the industry standard. The rawl plugs were not quite up to what I felt was needed and so used some better ones of my own. Changing the code is straight forward. Enough space inside for a couple of keys but only a thin fob. Would definitely recommend.

As with most products you have to Mount to a wall there was no guide but I made my own drilled the holes and everything fitted fine. Not sure how secure it is and locating it into a safe place would be my concern.
Easy to install and use. Perfect for my business where contracted workers (turors) need to let themselves in and out. Will be getting one for my 24/7 gym too. Got one already but not half as good as this one.

After locking my keys in my car I decided to get a safe box for a spare key. Very easy to install and seems very sturdy. Easy to create a new lock combination if you follow the instructions supplied.
This medium sized key safe works well. Make sure that the keys you want to store are not too big.
I used blue tac to stick my larger keys individually to the back of the safe and that works well. Consider the larger version, if available, for bigger keys on a key ring.
This is such a good product for the price. It’s sturdy, easy to install and use. Bought one for my mum and fitted it in 20 minutes outside her door.
This is a really strong sturdy lockbox for your spare key.. so handy if you want someone to let themselves in as in our case to walk our dogs and let cleaner in a few days each week. It was less than a 5 minutes job to install this and its definitely worth the money and peace of mind it gives.
You do need a drill to go through the brick to install but great and exactly what I expected!
Perfect and happy with my purchase
It was easy to install and so far seems to be ok happy with it have needed it twice ie spare key fee times so been a blessing. Weather wise I will need to see how it does over winter. Although have to say it jammed once I couldn’t open it the key inside was at a funny angle but after a bit I managed to open it. Only fits one set of keys ie 2 keys ata push 3 keys, any more and wont shut. I would of probably in hindsight bought bigger one. I would give 3 to 4 stars
We use tis to secure a key to a strong point on a vehicle. Great if swimming, surfing or hill walking. Alas they are quite easy to pick if you know what to do, but if the KeySafe is not obvious, that’s not really a problem.
Fitted to a brick wall, in an inconspicuous place easily. Feels strong and solid and changing the combination couldn’t be easier (move leaver inside, set code, move leaver back).

I imagine would be waterproof as there is a sliding shutter over keypad. Have managed to be lockout a few times, (by guests). So was a life saver for me. Easy to install, you can change codes easily too.
I think key safes are a necessity as you age. I have a large garden with hardly any neighbours nearby, so it’s peace of mind for me! Looks very sturdy and attractive.

Came well packaged and with basic instructions. Changing the default code is very straightforward and standard for many of these combination codes. Not sure on the weatherproof status yet as I have fixed it in a sheltered area. It certainly keeps light rain out and there is no reason to believe it won’t stay dry in there.
Fitting is very simple, with only 4 screws provided. You will need to make sure that you use the correct rawl plugs for your application. I would not recommend just using the screws without something else as a quick hack with a screwdriver would likely make the screws, on the their own, fail. Apart from that , a good product, easy to use and just big enough for a few sets of keys.

Only 2 criticisms:
Instruction text was far too small and had to take a photo to enlarge. We didn’t feel the screws to attach were adequate so we replicated them with sturdy bolts.
It was fitted and working inside 10 minutes and it can’t be much easier to use. It isn’t huge and you won’t get too much in to it, but front and back door keys on a ring with a small LED light fit in it with bags of room to spare and I knocked up a couple of cards with useful info on them – they fit in easily as well.
I doubt little short of a small explosion would be needed to open it without the key code – it feels very robust. So well pleased this end.
This was bought due to the uncanny ability I have to lock myself out of the house. Was straight forward to install with standard tools (drill and screwdriver) and is easy to navigate in regard of setting a pin. It seems secure enough but I still put the box out of sight around the back of the house for my own piece of mind.
If like me your door slams shut behind you then this is definitely worth the buy
Easy to mount and seems fairly robust. The only to keep the weather out is to seal around the outside edge. Otherwise water gets in from the fixing holes.
Good sturdy padlock. Only problem with it is the cavity is quite small. I wanted to put a car key in it but a thick modern car key won’t fit inside.

Very easy to set up. Can be wall mounted by easily removing the locking hoop. Easy to set combination. Plenty of room inside. Weatherproof and sliding panel on the front works well and looks good and solid. Already saved me the embarrassment of being locked out of my new home!

It’s not 100% weatherproof but I guess as long as you open, close and oil it regularly, im sure it will be fine.
Also be careful not to change the code by accident! Did it with the last one I have and had to throw it away.

Wish there was a hook or some way to hold keys still inside as can be hard to position them in order to close the box. Fits 2 chub door keys but would struggle to close with any more as no hook or hold facility even though potentially space for more.
These are pretty well made and you do see them everywhere.
Useful for keeping spare keys to garden gate etc.
I would not keep house keys in anything other than a police approved wall safe which is going to cost you north of 60 quid.
Easy to use and the mechanics work smoothly.
I have no doubt that a hammer and chisel could get into it in short order but then breaking a window is pretty easy too isn’t it?
This is the perfect alternative to leaving the key under the mat and being able to change combination easily is very handy.
I can’t comment on weather resistancy as I’ve only had it for a couple days but based on the materials I can’t see there being any issues.
The Installation was really easy just hold on wall mark 4 holes from inside lock box drill holes (I did 7mm) install a wall plug (not included) hold the box up install the 4 screws and your dandy.
There’s a little metal switch on the inside right section of the door which you flick up to allow you to change your 4digit code and your all set.

Was very much impressed by the sturdiness of this item and it was half price when we bought it so got one for the mother in law too. Very easy to install and look’s good on the wall as has the flap that covers the combination. Would definitely recommend this item.
Handy for keys but remember a determined burglar could rip this off the wall and take it away to open it in slower time with a saw or even patiently trying all the combinations
