Excellent, sturdy and attractive. This gazebo is well worth the price paid! Much nicer looking and more sturdy than those pop up ones for sure! No need for weights at the bottom, though I did secure 2 poles to the fence with bungee cords just in case of a super strong wind. I strung fairy lights through out the poles. The wires optically disappear into the black, and when it’s dark out it has the effect of stars. Very happy with this purchase!

Easy to put together and seems to be decent quality. Got almost completed with the setup and noticed the seam of the canopy was torn on the corner. Their support page doesn’t work which is concerning. Had to order a whole replacement from Amazon to pull the broken part and then reship the big package back to amazon. Hopefully this canopy holds and support will not be needed for the future.

Great canopy. I put it together myself in about 2 1/2 hours. One or two of the parts needed a little coaxing to fit together, but nothing too bad. I have it screwed to the wooden patio and it is very secure. Looks much more expensive than it was.

    1. You MUST, MUST, MUST tie this down! Screw it, nail it, stake it, sand bag it – it WILL blow away and be destroyed in a strong wind!
    2. The canopy has the potential to catch water, sag and be permanently damaged in a heavy rain – be prepared to burn weep holes before it’s too late! I sprayed mine with hyperbolic water repellent as a precaution but still watch it carefully and take it down if heavy rain threatens.
    3. A nice addition was recently made to the frame, however, now the original top canopy is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to install without a modification to the frame. Easy enough to do but very frustrating
    4. Replacement parts or canopies are not available. If they are missing or damaged be prepared to return the entire gazebo.
    5. Master Canopy has made it IMPOSSIBLE to contact them. No phone, no e-mail address, no customer service. They have gone out of their way to make sure they can not be contacted!
    6. If you can get past all that, it’s a very sturdy canopy and I expect to get a few years out of it – which is probably standard life for this kind of product at this price.

Arrived faster than expected. All parts were labeled, “yay!” counted, and present in the box. Also found excellent assembly instructions & it was super easy to set up. It does need two people in a few of the steps (My husband & I set it up in about 1 hr. or less). I ordered the black one, & It is so classy looking, the frame is sturdy, and the canopies fit nice & tight & you can adjust them tighter or looser. I have had many canopies & this one is really a cut above. I love it more than any canopy I’ve had in the past. It is so well made and the fabric is beautiful and sturdy, stitched well. The price was perfect and I just couldn’t be happier with it.

I’m using this to extend the length of our patio.

It took me roughly 4 hours to assemble and secure by myself. It’s doable but 2nd person would make it easier.

The canopy is a woven ripstop fabric, which has faired well for 7 months in the Phoenix AZ area heat and sun.

This is made of mostly thin wall 3/4″ mild steel tubing, so didn’t appear it would stand upto wind gusts but it has. It’s all about how you anchor it.
It comes with wire tent stakes, those will not cut it.
I used 12″ long drill in stakes, 2 in each foot, which by the way these legs are 2″ thin wall tubing. I also tethered it to my patios 4×4 legs just in case.

The second small rais3d roof canopy does a good job at keeping it from parachuting in high winds. Although check the anchors occasionally to make sure they’re still good.

It’s a nice gazebo and once assembled and anchored very well its lasted much longer than expected. Just know you’ll be spending another $40 or more on good ground anchors.

Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

Anchored well, 7 months in Phoenix AZ and still going strong

Prodotto arrivato nei tempi previsti. Facile da montare (fatto da sola in un’oretta). Bello esteticamente, finiture curate. Avrei solo preferito un telo di copertura di colore pi chiaro (il materiale mi pare comunque molto buono). Felicissima dell’acquisto.

Super easy to build and overall good value for money but I noticed the dark grey top fades extremely fast. After just two weeks I noticed a lot of fading from sunlight. Amazon sent a new top to exchange but there’s no long term solution.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis canopy was pretty easy to assemble. The only negatives I have about it is the quality. One piece was bent and I had to straighten it to be able for the next piece to fit. It’s also not as sturdy as I’d hoped but still a pretty good canopy for the price.

I mostly test out instant-up type canopies. This is the first bolt together canopy I’ve put up and I’m fairly impressed. I torture tests these by leaving them in the weather until they are destroyed. This one was up from September through February. Some high winds in February finally did the canopy in. The fabric tore and became a flapping nuisance.

Unlike the fabric on most of the pop ups, this fabric is more like cloth. I am sure I could have prolonged the life of this canopy by spraying it with a UV protectant every few months but I didn’t.

I expect the replacement canopy fabric to cost between $60 and $80. I usually don’t spring for the replacement and opt to get an entirely new setup but in this case I’ll likely get new fabric. I do like this frame.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAfter my last pop-up gazebo was destroyed in a recent storm I thought I’d give this permanent gazebo a better chance to survive the Scottish winter. After assembling the frame (which takes about 30 min to do) I set the feet with concrete into planters made from recycled tyres purchased at the local B&Q, this has added about 25kg per leg, a couple of days drying time later I installed the canopy (10 min job with aid of a ladder), the all thing is now rock-solid and hopefully windproof. The problem I can see in high winds is the canopy ripping open, although it can be removed in case of severe forecast, and the welded connections in the frame splitting over time and unfortunately there is no replacement canopy available while the frame could be fixed with some ingenuity if needed. Anyhow the gazebo looks awesome, only time and winds will tell how long lasting the product is.

PS: Gazebo did really well in 70kmh gusts last night, frame is solid and canopy would appear to offer little resistance to wind, it does need a treatment with a water repellent out of the box however!

When I opened the box and removed the pieces, I was not impressed with the thickness of the metal. I thought it seems flimsy and would bend before it was even assembled. Once everything was unpacked, I reviewed the instructions. They were fine for someone who has assembled or seen a gazebo in the past. If you are new to assembling gazebos, you might want to watch a few videos as the instructions can be a bit vague. However, after you assemble one side, the rest is exactly the same.

Now that the gazebo has been in place for months, I am truly impressed with the quality. Not only has it stayed in place, but I have also had no issues with the quality of the metal or the cloth top. Everything still looks great and my doubts are gone. Overall, this gazebo is of good quality and if the price is right, I recommend it!

I will keep it simple here, this is not the perfect or the greatest gazebo kit but definitely well made and will survive many years if taken care of correctly.

    Somewhat heavy duty.
    Durable canvas top cover.
Heavy weight, it won’t fly away on a light wind but for stormy days, make sure mount it on the ground or have heavy weight sand bags tied to the legs. or if you have trees, tie it up.
    Easy to assemble.
Seems very durable but the metal pillars/legs will rust overtime or paint may chip off. I highly suggest applying high temp enamel spray paint every year, so it is clean and chips will be covered before any water penetrates thru chips or cracks.
Large in size, perfect shade, can grill underneath.
Definitely would buy it again if we ever need it again.

Assemble is very easy, we packed back up ours for winter time and will setup again in summer. Keep the box so you can store inside of the original box.

I have the green color. It is a very great color. Nice and rich.

I like the overall look of this canopy. It has a superior look over other “generic” canopies. On top of this, there is an air vent on the top to help keep this canopy from flipping over in higher winds. It is kind of like umbrellas which have the same sort of design.

This canopy is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of 229 bucks it is certainly overpriced, and there are a plethora of cheaper options available, but those cheaper options are typically the “generic” types. So overall I really like this particular canopy.

I’ve had a few cheaper flimsier ones that I’ve had to really struggle to keep from flying away in the wind but this one’s actually pretty sturdy and wind resistant. I still consider safety to be the most important thing so I tie off everything if I can. The thing I like is the elegant look and I also like how when it rained it managed the water perfectly and none of the stuff that was underneath got wet. We’ll see if this withstands the test of time I make sure to put it up and take it down not just leave it up in the weather because the elements will definitely ruin it as they have done in the past. Overall I could recommend this to somebody looking for a gigantic pop up easily fit a table or two underneath and put a bunch of friends in there.

This took me about an hour and a half to put together by myself. I was worried that I’d have to get some help or figure something out concerning assembly but it’s not bad. It’s got some good directions, it’s not too complicated, and it’s really not bad at all. I absolutely love the coverage, the sturdiness, how it looks, and the fact it’s just a little larger than my old one but it manages to cover my outdoor patio furniture a good bit better. This is a pretty good deal and it should last a long time with the anchors that I bought to keep this in one spot. If you plan to keep this up for any length of time without taking it down, I’d highly recommend getting some anchors to keep
    it in place.

    Pros:

    Easy setup
    Well made
    Good value
    Larger than average
Shade holding up well in the sun
1.5 hours to assemble by myself

    Cons:

Should use anchors if leaving this up for a while

MASTERCANOPY 11×11 Patio Gazebo with Soft Top Outdoor Garden Gazebo for Patios and Backyard (11×11, Forest Green)

Set this up two months ago (September 2021)

I was able to assemble the gazebo myself, but needed the husband’s help to move it into place.
Easy assembly, and the frame feels durable. The canopy top frame is a little lighter which I believe allows some give to the frabic top. The 4 frame legs are a lot heavier adding enough weight to keep the gazebo stable.

One thing to note is the forest green fabric is not as vibrant as shown in the product page pictures.

This was set up over a small garden at the edge or our property. I think it looks great and so far have no complaints.
I live in the southwest so I’ll be curious how fast the color of the fabric fades under the sun.

This is a keeper for me.

    Hope that helps!

Nice option if you want a gazebo you can setup/tear down or move when needed

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis 11×11 patio gazebo is made with rust resistant poles that push and snap into place. It is not the size of the poles that make this tent. It is the quality poles that don’t rust out with one summer. We have left this up all summer by our pool. We wiped down the top and folded it up for winter. I’m sure we will get many years of use from this.

The large center hook is a great place to put a light. The vent helps to keep it steady in the storms.

I just wish it has a few side walls as an option.

Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Assembly wasn’t easy but it wasn’t hard. I followed the directions and I got there.

I am glad I got a 11×11 as opposed to a 10×10, it might not seem like much but it makes a difference.

The covering is okay and should hold up a few years I am guessing. The structure is strong and doesn’t feel flimsy like some of my pop up covers do. Next, I am considering getting some sides for it.

Over all I am pleased and would buy it again. 5-STARS

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy wife and I have been wanting something like this for quite some time now. Every time we see the solid wood displays at big box stores we know that’s what we want but can’t spend thousands of dollars on something like that in our lives right now. Occasionally we’ll see metal and cloth gazebo canopies such as this at the stores as well but they always seem cheap in quality but not in price as they’re like $500 and up easily. All that being said I find this product to be an excellent value for the price!

The whole things came perfectly packaged and everything was wrapped and cared for in packaging. Nothing was damaged and no parts were missing. The instructions leave a little to be desired in that they lack words and leave you with a bunch of drawings for instructions. Luckily it’s not that difficult if you lay everything out and organize your assembly and look the instructions over before you jump in. Assembly took me about an hour or so and I did have to have my wife help me a few times. At 11′ end to end there are just times when I didn’t want to lift one end or side without support at the other end. Also since I built the main frame upside down I needed her help in flipping it right side up. I also grabbed my own hex wrenches and a socket set and ditched the cheap “tools” that came with the box to be easier on my hands and wrists.

After putting it together we moved it around the yard a few times before deciding exactly where it should go and staking it in the ground. I will say that I find the stakes to be a bit inadequate; they are not very long, are smooth, and the hook is more of a bend that doesn’t double back into the ground. These type of stakes may be great for your kids tent in the back yard with weight on the inside, but I do worry about them holding up if we get some big gusts of wind that may turn this thing into a giant parachute. I have ordered more substantial stakes on Amazon and will replace these when they arrive (for reference the ones I ordered are a foot in length, are ” thick, and are barbed so they grab earth as you try and pull them out so they won’t be easily lifted by wind).

The metal is powder coated and should hold up nicely in the elements (I live in Ohio so we get them all). The hardware that will be exposed to the elements also appear to be coated so hopefully nothing gets rust issues down the road. The canopy is thick but could be thicker in my opinion, but will certainly fit the bill at this price point. There are grommets in the sides if you wanted to further tie down the canopy or maybe hang something light from them? I especially like the two tiered nature of the top that allows for airflow mitigating the parachute worry I had. Since we are putting this above our tiny backyard fire pit it will also allow any hot air to escape quickly which is nice. There is a sturdy hook in the center of the canopy that will hold a lamp or wind chime or whatever you wish to hang from it and it seems like it could hold a few pounds; it’s pretty substantial.

All told we’ve had this up for about a week now and we’re loving it. We haven’t had any real storms yet but thus far it’s stayed put (awaiting those additional ground stakes). It gives us great shade around the day and will keep and light rain off us if we decide to have a small fire in our little pit. I think it also adds something special to the look of the back yard as well. My wife has strung tiny solar lights on the inside and it’s so relaxing sitting out under the canopy at night.

If you’re looking for something more permanent or much more long term you may just have to up your budget a bit. But for us, this really hit the sweet spot and if your in a similar situation I think this will be just perfect for you!

    I love i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am comparing this to another gazabo I purchased on Amazon. It falls short in a couple of essential areas.

    Here is what I liked:

    The assembly is pretty straightforward.
Unlike popup canopies, the frame is very sturdy. If you add weights/sandbags to the legs, it will stand up to high winds.
The 10×10 seating space is generous.
    Attractive.

Here is what I didn’t like:

The canopy could have drain holes to prevent water from pooling further.
The frame has no built-in rods for hanging curtains or mesquite netting.
The hook is a weird idea. I wouldn’t want to add weight to that area of the frame.

It works, looks attractive, and seems to be of good quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a pretty good gazebo. I don’t think it’s a super high-quality gazebo, but I don’t think it’s a piece of garbage either. It looks really nice, and it’s made reasonably well. I think the bottom line is that it’s a good gazebo at a very good price.

And just so you know, a cedar or teak gazebo of this size that’s not a complete piece of junk will cost you a bare minimum of $2K. And a premium cedar or teak gazebo of this size will cost you $5K or more. So, again, this is a good gazebo at a very good price.

Putting this gazebo together was very straightforward. The instructions are pretty good and there were no missing pieces or missing hardware. So, thankfully, putting it together was a breeze. I unboxed it, went over the instructions, and put it together in a little over an hour.

Now, while I really like the color of the forest green shade/cover, to be honest, I’m not a big fan of the black frame. It looks okay, but in my opinion, a dark brown, textured-paint frame would look far nicer. But, of course, that’s merely a personal preference.

So, to sum up, like I said, I think this is a pretty good gazebo. Especially when considering its very modest price. I’d be really surprised if there’s a better do-it-yourself gazebo at this price point.

If you have any questions about this Mastercanopy gazebo, please feel free to ask, and I’ll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI truly love this gazebo. Right now we are dealing with torrential rain so I’m regretting setting up the Gazebo prior to big storms but it seems to be withstanding thus far.

    Pros:
    – Set up was intuitive
    – Beautiful canvas top (I added additional stitching for added security)
    – Sturdy
    – Did I mention that it’s beautiful. My neighbors on both sides. think that we’re doing a huge backyard redesign because we got this gazebo!

    Cons:
    – I feel like the quality is good but. not GREAT. Some of of the parts seems cheaper and lighter than I. expected.

All in all though, I really love this gazebo and I’m happy that we got it. We did place sandbags around each of the legs to ensure that it will stay put during these storms. However, I do think it would be fine. without!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWOW! This gazebo was absolutely easy for me to put together by myself. I started assembling this at around 6pm and completed it at 8pm. I used a wrench and ratchet set to make set up a bit easier for myself and couldn’t be more happy. I love the finish of the structure itself, it appears to be powder coated to avoid rust. Th canopy cloth itself fits snuggly on the roof and has vent holes to prevent too much movement on windy days. The roof also has Velcro straps to secure around the base of the roof to ensure a nice fit. Inside the roof center, there is a hook where you can hang a light or fan which is very neat. It can also be anchored to the ground if you’re setting this up in a soft ground area. Overall, instructions were very clear and not that hard to assemble on my own. A must have for your backyard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a good garden gazebo. It has a lot going for it. However, there are a couple of things that keep it from being truly great.

The top canvas is good. It allows for much better airflow. It does have a flaw though. The pockets that the supports slide into are not big enough and it doesn’t look good. I’m sure they will hold, but when you look at them, you expect them to slip out at any moment.

The metal frame is easy to put together. A lot of the junctions snap together with a locking pin. The horizontal supports bolt together. Overall it’s a pretty solid build. The only drawback is the quality of the parts. Some of them are cleanly welded. It doesn’t prevent assembly, but it does look flimsy in some parts because things don’t line up as well as they could.

The hanging hook inside, is bigger than expected and seems like it could hold a decent amount of weight, but it does have limits. The actual hook could hold far more weight than the frame supporting it. With that in mind they could have gone with a thinner hook, to save some space, but I’m not going to knock them for that.

This is a very good gazebo, but if you want the best, this is not it. This is, however, an excellent value.

    Very Good but Not Grea

I wasn’t disappointed and neither was my guest. I highly recommend this product,I can’t wait to use it again.
