Nice and light but sturdy both dogs took easily to using them so I’m extremely happy with these!

Love these steps! Soft yet surprisingly sturdy. My dog is 25kg and uses them to get on and off the sofa with ease. A great buy.

These stairs cost a fair bit more than some of the other options on the market, but they are well worth it. I bought these as a replacement for the kind with a plastic frame inside which easily broke. Conversely, these ones are made of firm memory foam, so even if accidentally stepped/lent on by a human, they stay in tact. The dogs happily use them to get onto the sofa and even sometimes stop half way and lie on them, so they must be comfortable! If you can afford it, buying better quality items like these are in the long term better value, and as a result better for the environment, as I think they will last for many years.

We bought this for our dog after his cruciate ligament surgery. It was perfect, and we’re still using it. Very light- we just pick it up to put wherever it’s needed – great for dogs to get in back seat of the car. If it gets dirty, just throw the cover in the wash.

A little bit too expensive but does the job, my dog got used to it very easy although it’s a shy dog and it’s not confortable with new things brought home.

The gentle curving slope on these steps make them much easier to traverse than hard square steps – particularly if your dog’s body is longer than their legs (eg shih Tzu, daschund). The sponge is soft enough to avoid being harsh on their paws (like plastic steps would be); but also stiff enough to support the weight of my 9.5 kg dog without the paws sinking in (which would have made it more difficult for him to walk). The photo shows the level of the top step in relation to my bed (The Platform Bed by Get Laid Beds, and an Emma mattress, if you want to think about height), and my ageing Shih Tzu Lhasa manages it well, although there is an adjustment period as his habit of trying to jump or crying to go up or down (for a drink in the middle of the night, say) is needing to be broken.

We’re at the stage now when he uses it in the middle of the night (oh the difference in my sleep! It’s amazing!) But sometimes needs reminding to use it during the day when I am not well.

This is an expensive item but in terms of the value I get with better sleep, less crying (of us both, lol).

If they made a larger one with a platform for window-viewing, I’d be interested in buying one. As our dogs age we want to make their later years as happy and comfortable as possible.

I have 5 cats, 2 of them have arthritis and so struggle to jump up or down from the bed or sofas. This has been really helpful in them being able to get up and sleep with the others without needing to be lifted up by my husband and I, or them trying to jump and failing and then causing themselves more discomfort. It was such a winner that we immediately ordered another so we can have one downstairs and one upstairs.

My dog is quite old now and I wanted these to help her up and down from the sofa. They arrived in quite a small box so it was impressive how nicely they decompressed. The cover is easy to get on and off too, which is helpful. My dog has taken a little persuading to use them but she is a bit suspicious of new things so this isn’t a surprise; the slightly downward sloping steps mean that she has to take a bit of a run up to get the momentum to get up them and she just needed to get a bit more used to that, after a few failed attempts in the beginning. They are good though and I’d definitely recommend them. They also make a very comfortable foot rest for me when the dog isn’t using them.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy but light this was. I have a wooden set of steps but my dog hates going up it. I’ve just had operation can’t lift her so decided to finally splash out on these Masthome steps. So far, so very good – much easier for my dog to trot up to the couch or the bed than the old wooden steps. Cover fits really well, sponge is very sturdy but light. I’ll be buying at least one other of these – really pleased and surprised how very well they work.

This is perfect for my terrier who is 12 and getting a bit arthritic. He always sits on the settee with me and was having trouble jumping up . He used it sraight away . It’s vacuumed packed when it arrives and takes a few hours to expand to its normal size , has a separate cover that can be washed.

This product is brilliant. It’s lightweight so I can move it to anywhere in the house my cat needs it. We only had to show her couple of times what it was for and show uses it all the time. She’s old so finds jumping on to the sofa difficult. The stairs allow her to go up and down in comfort. Cover is washable as well. Would highly recommend.

I have tried many products to enable my westie to get on our rather high sofa. I’ve had ramps, steps and blocks and nothing worked, he just wouldn’t use them.
I ordered these as a last attempt and within the day he was using them. I think its because they are softer than steps, but firm and are a cross between steps and ramp with the rounded edges.
I ordered a second lot for upstairs. Amazing and he’s happy

When it arrived, I was worried it wouldn’t reshape, as it was vacuum packed into a small box. I unpacked it and it started to re shape straight away. Within an hour or so it was soon in perfect shape. The steps are sturdy for my Daxi and she easily goes up and down them. I’m impressed with these stepsoh and my Daxi loves the free toy too.

This is 3rd set of doggie steps, none of which have had steps deeper enough for my dog to use. These steps are nice & deep, my dog can at long last, get on & off the bed. I only had to walk her up & down the stairs once, &, she’s happily used them since. I strongly recommend these steps, don’t waste your money on others, like I have.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhen this product arrived I was a tad apprehensive as the box it arrived in was rather small. The wife, I and the Dog opened the box and were greeted with a rather impressively packed kit. One bag contained the cover for the foam stairs, Another bag had the extremely compressed foam that forms the stairs and unexpectedly another bag containing a free rope toy for our companion.
We started to open the bag containing the foam section and as Air started to get into the bag the foam expanded to it’s full and impressive size. The foam is well cut and surprisingly firm, better than I expected to be fair. The cover is well made and had no signs of failed stitching or torn or ripped fabric. We placed the cover on the foam section and with a little bit of stretching, tucking and folding, we got it all zipped up which brings me to another good point! I now know that we can give the cover a wash if it gets grubby from little paw prints.
We placed it next to our sofa and after a final inspection by the dog, the wife and I had lost the sofa!
This is a fantastic and well made product and although expensive, we believe our loving pooch deserves the best and we have the knowledge and satisfaction that our companion can join us on the sofa without having to jump or fall.

I have had this several months now and it still looks as good as new. lightwieght and easy to move about for a dog who cannot decide where she wants to sit. Helps her a lot and she is not a small dog, she feels safe going up and down it, although it did take her a couple of days to realise what it was for. Would highly recommend for older dogs or dogs with mobility issues

Had to write review of these dog steps. They are just great. Was a bit worried my dog would not use. They arrived with a toy. Put a treat at the top step which at first she eat at the side but within minutes was going up them to get. They are very light and can be moved around the house. They are soft but sturdy and do not move. Now you can get cheaper which have a mental frame but these can wobble.one wobble and my dog would not go near These are worth the price. Cover can also come off to be washed. Plus the toy was a added bonus. Would definitely recommend anyone to buy these

Bought this for my two dogs (a Daschund and a King Charles Spaniel) who are getting on in years and not quite as mobile as they used to be. We have an old armchair sitting in the corner of the room they like to sleep on, they are now having difficulties getting on and off but since buying these steps they get up and down with no problems. Definitely recommended for somebody with a dog who is not as mobile as they used to be.

My dog took to these steps right away, I think it was because the steps are sloped and they don’t have corners which makes it easy to use.
The material, combined with the memory foam underneath, gives slightly giving excellent grip yet the steps remain very stable.
The base surface grips my wooden floor well so doesn’t move around.
The overall look is excellent, lovely textured material.
My dog is a Jack Russell crossed with something, she is 8kg weight and is well chuffed with her new steps. Bit dearer than a lot of steps but well worth the money.
    Thoroughly recommended.

I really like it, as a miniture dachshunt owner we wanted to make sure there was as little strain on his back as possible, this does the trick and for an 8 week old puppy to not struggle it shows the gradient of steps is spot on. Also the dog toy was a really nice touch, my teething puppy thanks you!

    Really good!

We’ve tried a couple different dog steps, but our boy has really not got on well with them at all. He’s always struggled to judge the distant between the steps. But these are more of a ramp with bumps. He finds then really easy to get up and down and took to them like a duck to water.
Being foam, I was really sceptical that they would be any good, but they are so solid, it’s no problem at all.
In fact, despite the price, my wife bought a second set.
    Thoroughly recommend!

I purchased these stairs so my mini dachshund could get safely on and off the sofa. He’s only a puppy so he has got the hang of using them very quickly. They come in a tiny box but expand quickly and the cover can be removed for washing. The cover is a little baggy on the front where the steps are as they do not seem to expand entirely but it’s still perfect for what we needed. The fact that they are memory foam helps to protect the joints too. Overall very pleased and the dog clearly likes them too!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe had to raise our couch following my husband’s hip replacement and our dog struggled to get on and off unaided. These steps are perfect! Sturdy enough to bear her weight (15kg), lightweight enough for us to also take them up to the bedroom so she can get on and off the bed. Took her no time at all to realise what they were for and she uses them constantly. Very pleased.

These steps seem quite sturdy and don’t seem to slip on my wooden floors. They are quite expensive for what they are but I like the fact that they are a graduated step (more like a slope) which enables my dog to run up them. She is a bit wary of them but the longer I leave them in place, the more she is learning to trust them. I wish that they had cost a bit less and the additional dog toy included in the box had been left out, because it wasn’t necessary. Would be nice if they came in different colours too.

Great purchase. First 24 hours my dog was a bit wary but after that it was as if she had always used them. They are graduated which probably makes them easier for the dog, as opposed to narrow steps. It’s very firm and doesn’t buckle under her weight (just under 12kg) but kind on the shins if you bump into it. As others have said, put the cover on before it opens up and just wait a few hours. Really very pleased with this purchase.

They don’t look very impressive when you unpack them initially but after unpacking we put the cover on and then waited a couple of hours for them to pad out and they are really great. I would recommend them even though initially they seemed a little on the pricey side.

I didn’t think this was going to work, but after quite a few days for the foam to firm up, my 9 kilo dachshund now prefers these steps to other hard steps which weren’t quite right for short legs and a long back. I have tried so many types of steps!!! I wish it was a little more solid at the back, where it rests against the sofa and thought I would have to add some sort of frame there but he is managing so far. A weighted bit at that end would help though. I would prefer it to be a bit more solid.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt didn’t take long for it to expand into it’s cover which I put on while still compressed. Very sturdy and my stair reluctant dog has just gone up on it no trouble at all and he’s the heaviest of the three. So light and easy to move about so even though I bought for the bed can bring it downstairs for the chairs for my littlest dog. Much better than the solid wooden stair ones as more like a ramp so much easier for them to compute especially for my stair reluctant boy who didn’t need to do a big run up for this. Only gave it 4 for value though as do consider it is a bit pricey for what it is. That said if it works then saves in the long run by trying to find cheaper versions and them not working as well.

The others I looked at were open tread, which I didn’t think looked very safe in this respect. Also, it’s more of a ramp than steps, which I think is easier for doggos to use. It took very little encouragement to get him to use it – after two days he was flying up and down it! It stays in place well with no “creeping” (it’s on carpet, I can’t answer for other floor surfaces).

When it arrived, it was squashed almost flat to fit into its box but don’t worry, after a few hours it expanded to its full size (I took the opportunity to put its cover on, which is easier to do it its flattened state.

The cover is well made and attractive.

I dithered a bit because of its price but I’m very glad I got it in the end. I think, if he could, my doggo would recommend it. As he can’t, I will!

Great product perfect for my chihuahua to get onto my high bed. He has muscle wastage in his back legs and this really helps him to be independent again. Good quality product that serves it’s purpose.

Quite surprised to see the box when it arrived, hadn’t thought that the foam would be rolled and sqeashed. Amazing to watch it uncurl. Took overnight for it to firm up properly. Only had it a day but both dogs are using it now. Pleased with it as are Charlie and Rosie, two Westies.

These steps are fantastic. My little cat has arthritis. He’s now finding it hard to jump up onto the coffee table. It took him a couple of days to use them but, now he loves them. They are sturdy. The foam is super quality. I’m going to buy him another set for upstairs.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersPurchased these for my 5 year old Jack Russell who has osteoarthritis and cruciate ligament disease.
Thought they’d make his life much easier and mine having to keep lifting him on the sofa with a bad back . On delivery the foam steps came tightly rolled and out of shape . Panicked a little but once it had expanded and the covers were put on they were fine. Took a few attempts to get my dog to use them but with a little bribery he has soon realised that they are the easier way up to the sofa ! I’m hoping they will last but at this moment in time I’m quite pleased with them.

Ideal for my 3.5kg cat. Expanded within hours and lightweight to move when needed. Fits perfectly to the side of my bed.
Such a great product for small animals with arthritis or movement problems. Definitely recommend.

Lightweight and easy to use. Bought this for my elderly dog who cant jump up on the sofa, or bed. Its ideal for the sofa, not so good for the bed, (its hit and miss if she uses it for the bed, it doesnt quite fit to the top. ). Was very disappointed when first unpacked it and nearly sent it back, but it soon filled out. (It’s like a hard memory foam). Generally pleased with it.

Easy to assemble, easy and lightweight to move around, and gentle steps.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen I first opened the product, I immediately requested a refund. It had been packed so tight, I doubted it would ever spring into shape. However, after a few hours it did and my jack russell loves it. Very easy on the joints and a good angle to access easily.

    Better than looks at first.

These graduated steps are PERFECT for my dog’s recovery from a broken leg. You can use them straight away- remember the cloth cover will be baggy to start and then steps firm right up gradually over the next few hours to a day. Sloping style stops dog jumping off them and more likely to use them.

This looks great now that it has filled out, a bit disappointed that the badge on front is hanging off.
My dog will not use it hoping she will get used to it, if not will have to return i

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBrilliant!!
I bought this item for my mum’s datchund she’s not long had spinal surgery, so no more jumping on and off the sofa , I tried it with my dogs they took to it straight away , sturdy/ solid enough to give them confidence to walk up and down with minimal training, the steps are sloped around 2 inches high so little or no pressures on their spine. when it arrives it doesn’t look great but the sponge needs couple of hours to unfold to the right Shape so don’t worry.
The only negative is the price little to high I thought.
Ps assembly is easier if you put the cover on before it fully unfolds then adjust if needed.

    Brilliant...

Great product but my only advice for future buyers is maybe buy direct because lately AMAZON leave my delivery’s in the street when I’m not home rather than neighbours, it won’t be long before something is stolen .

Liked that is easy to assemble, and you get what it says in the description. However, for the price I would expect better fabric and zip, because it has been made of very cheap materials.

This is really nice. My Chihuahua has learned to go up and down no problem. We trained him with treats
It’s really good quality. At first the cover is slack but when the foam expands overnight it fits perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersLooks really cheap when it arrived but really really pleased with it once its all put together. My 10 week old pup is a pug chihuahua cross so absolutely tiny and so this is brilliant for her, and she mastered it instantly and loves running up and down onto the sofa! It’s really sturdy, my 5 year old loves following her up i

Don't be disappointed when you open it as it's brill once put together.
