I’ve been buying my yearly subscription via Amazon since I found out I could do this. It is way cheaper than renewing your subscription through the app when it rans out. Totally recommended.
I had this similar product as part of my BT package. They changed to Norton which I found did not work to my satisfaction and was difficult to configure. McAfee is very straightforward and intuitive. The only oddity I have found is that I installed it on my Windows 10 PC and all was OK, including the installation of the Virtual Private Network. However, when I installed it onto my Windows 7 PC the VPN didn’t install. Strange.
Took a while to replace version already on system but needing renewing did uninstall it .kept trying to get me to download a different version which McAfee were trying to get me to buy off there website at more than double the price. eventually downloaded it on phone but still have to replace out of date versions on 2 laptops .
I have had this for many years. Easy to install and follow the instructions. It auto deletes the previous version and installs the new version. Just remember to switch off the auto renewal in you mcafee account.
Got this from Amazon. Absolutely no problems installing it onto my new computer, and great value for money. Usually there is some form of glitch with downloads, but not this time. My only comment is I wasn’t sure my order had gone through, and I purchased another one, which, as it turns out wasn’t necessary and I cannot get a refund, so now I have an identical download that I don’t need. If it is still valid in a years time, I will use it.
An excellent product. Easy to install and a greatly improved, much quicker procedure compared to previous years Very pleased with these improvements which require minimum input by the use
I have used McAfee for several years now. I do miss getting the physical disc in the post to install the software as it used to be sold but it is so easy to download from the link provided. It is a good quality computer protection product and easy to install and use.
I hate the annual renewing my subscription. The price to renew is double/treble the cost of buying new. For the last few years I have paid full price and then rung up and asked them to refund the difference, which they have done, but it is a time consuming business.
This time, I bought from Amazon at a fraction of the price. They sent me a keycode instantly by email which was easy to enter if you have a McAfee account and click on ‘Redeem your Retail Card’ and follow the instructions.
I followed the instructions which didn’t represent what appeared on the screen. Why would I immediately want to upgrade? Typical McAfee, never make it easy. Why all the adverts?
Finally, I got success. Then I tried to protect a tablet and had a choice. Download for Windows or download for a phone. It is an Android tablet, so I selected the phone option and got a message telling me the software was incompatible with the machine I am trying to download to. I tried the windows option and got the same message.
My McAfee accounts tells me the tablet is covered, and one day on from my old subscription expiring, I can still access McAfee on my tablet and I cannot find that it doesn’t work, so maybe I am covered on both.
I am not exactly computer savvy and way beyond retirement age.
The product appears to work properly and if it does, is good value for money. If Amazon can do this why can’t McAfee?

After alot of searching online I came across McAfee Software Installer helper which is free to download. It did everything for me and approx 30 minutes later it McAfee was all installed. Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem!
I have taken a star off for the hassle it took to get it installed but once installed very good product.

I already had MacAfee Total Protect installed on various devices . I bought this to continue my subscription for another year . It automatically updated my account for another year . Works well and is value for the money .
I have used McAfee antivirus products for years and can totally recommend this product.
It doesn’t slow your system down like some of the others antivirus products available.
It is easy to install and the interface is simple to understand & use.
Very easy to install as my son did it for me. Value for money – who knows if my laptop does not pick up a virus then it was if it does then it wasn’t. Easy to use -yes
For a bargain price, and three devices protected, buying this is a no brainer, I like McAfee, it seems more subtle and not as ‘intrusive’ as some other makes I’ve used in the past, but the decision to buy was more about the price if I’m honest.

Liked price and what it does but vpn not unlimited and it was confusing what to do it was annoying at firs
