No Probs Installing For Windows 10 on a dell desk top PC. Bought, downloaded and installed in minutes. All ready had Livesafe (so already had an account) that I DIDN’T uninstall before installing Total Protection and the install just replaced my Livesafe (doesn’t show in my programmes now only Total Protection). I would advise that after all done give your computer a restart as you really should after any installations. It allowed me to cancel the auto renewal during download process but just give your account a view to check.

After entering your download code there is an auto-renewal box but you just need to click “no thanks” and continue with installing. I already had mcafee on my pc and devices and the download automatically updated my device protection once I’d installed it on my pc. Will definitely purchase again next year.

Easy to install and good value Already use McAfee Security for my Pc and Samsung Android tablet. I remove the auto renewal as it tends to be very expensive. I usually purchase new McAfee Security and reinstall manually saving a lot of money. Due to current Covid restrictions this is the 1st time I have purchased a email code verification package. It was very straight forward I purchased the item from Amazon and the download code was received minutes later. Installation onto my laptop and tablet was very straight forward, took about 45 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. All now installed and appears to be working well. Please note compatibility with older Windows systems eg. Vista, I use Windows 10 so fine. Also I uninstalled McAfee App on my Android before reinstalling new download, seemed to work for me. Installation prolonged Not for the first time I found the installation prolonged. From previous experience I uninstalled my resident McAfee. The program download from Amazon was OK but opening the downloaded file took some time and the initial ‘Install’ did not work at all! Cutting a long story short, following laptop restarts, the third attempt to install finally worked. Is this deliberate on the part of McAfee, hoping that the frustration of this installation process might lead to users resorting to the integral program updating at exorbitant cost???
No problem at all After reading lots of negative comments I took a risk of purchasing it. I already had mcafee which was due to expire. If you carefully read the downloading instructions while downloading it’s very very easy to instal and renews your existing subscription if you want.
Common sense to renew subscription this way! My annual renewal for McAfee rolled around again & to renew via McAfee they wanted to charge me 49.99 for the privilege. For the same requirements I needed, 3 devices for 1 year, I found I could purchase the same subscription via Amazon download for 12.99.
Having read the negative reviews that some purchasers experienced long winded difficulties I decided to go ahead & purchase anyway.
Before installing the new subscription from to my devices I uninstalled the previous version to avoid any conflict. I followed the instructions provided via the Amazon email & then those provided by McAfee during the installation. Installation successful with no problems experienced. Very reliable antivirus Been using McAFee for years now and I always buy a new copy, always much cheaper than the auto renew option. Not immediately obvious if you’re new to this where the menu on the website is for you to load the activation key but once you’ve done that then the process of installing is very easy.
Easy to install My previous McAfee had expired, so I bought this as it was a 3rd cheaper than buying directly from them and also gave me protection for 3 devices.
I found the installation instructions easy to follow and this downloaded on my laptop with minimum fuss. Took about about 30 minutes to do.
Some people have said that they have had problems but I found this very straight forward. Perhaps because I had McAfee before that’s why I didn’t encounter any technical issues.

Simple instructions and ease to install
Relatively easy to install but i worked in IT for 30 years Installed on two machines. For each I got the message unable to uninstall old version. I rebooted, resumed the install and it was ok. Standard installation technique which should have been part of the process step. Recieved emails subsequently to say my MacAfee had not installed and the advice on the website did not tell me what I need to do i.e. point my drop down list of installations from the old to the new. Pretty standard stuff if you are technically aware.
Great product and great price I have always used Mcafee and always look around when my renewal is coming up. Amazon had a great deal on the price and far cheaper than automatic renewal through the Mcafee website. Once purchased I had an email immediately with the link to my digital downloads and I picked up the code. Went straight to my Macfee account and linked it to my account and my subscription was extended.

Trustworthy product that can be relied on to protect your devices. I have used McAffee products for a number of years & always found them to be good value for money, easy to install and manage. To date they have kept my devices free of any infections etc.
Well worth the money for 3 devices. It was a bit fiddly to install it as it couldn’t remove the previous version, so I had to uninstall the old one from the program files. After restart it installed properly. I ordered the 3 device version, it is running very well on the other laptop too.
Simple antivirus. Easy to install after creating account etc. Scans ok. No other issues found so far.
Current scans time depends on hardware used. Got two different machines with about 7/8 minutes approx difference.
Mc Afee anti virus Worked eventually! Had to go onto the helpline as when we tried to install on the 3 devices and none of them would uninstall the existing Mcafee anti virus – the helpline were good but it took over 3 hours for the technician to sort everything out !
For IPad Users Its A Headache To Download But Not Impossible Oh my goodness I had McAfee Total Protection this year and it was highly frustrating to download when I did this last year, this year the app had my subscription to free and wanted me to pay online at McAfee, or so I thought, after hours literally of trying different things I noticed in small blue writing the words add account number here. I didn’t have an account number until I tried the code given to me and put that in and hey presto it worked beautifully. So if you have an iPad follow the email instructions and copy and paste the code in the box from clicking on the small blue words to add account number. This McAfee security gives you VPN too for peace of mind and adds it automatically, once you have successfully added the code – phew! Good value reliable cover too, but knocking a star off as it’s such a faff to download especially a subsequent year.
Dont leave me!!!! Alot of people seem to have a problem with mcaffee for various reasons . Its good as an antivirus , and never had a problem in that regard …hence the 4 stars.
What i did have a problem with though , was in small print in my last subscription (mcaffee live) had an auto renewal which you have to turn off manually . I got the product on sale initially , and ended up paying a full $100 without being aware of it , until my savings seemed to have a big chunk gone that week.
So this time around i cancelled the subscription , and got this one …a way cheaper option on sale during black friday for 1/10 of the price , it basically does the same thing . After i cancelled it the last sub , id get 10 desktop messages a day for weeks and it became tedious after a while . Messages like (ok im paraphrasing)….are you sure you want to cancel your sub?….yunno we have protected your machine from viruses over the last year and yer not gonna be protected without us …ok buddy heres 20% off your sub ….did you know we are protecting your emails too ???!!!…oh hey its cyber monday heres 30% off , come on dude …last chance ….ok ..very very last chance …ok very very very last chance , why wont you talk to me …dont leave me!! .
As soon as i installed the new mcaffee product, these messages disappeared and we kissed and made up.
Tip for installing Get this every year and have learned that you uninstall old version before installing the new one if you don’t you have all sort’s of problems

"Trust-!" I had many many offers to try other software, but for many years now McAfee has protected my on line activity. Via Amazon I had a very good price. Better price that buying direct or renew via McAfee. I trust my protection to McAfee for another year…and my thanks to Amazon for price and service….that was post or download on line, I went for download on line very easy.
Works well and gives good security I like the security McAfee offers in realtime, warns me of instant risks on the net to the hardware and blocks malicious ware. The only slight is running in the background drains the battery on PC and android gadget. Have to decide whether to keep it running in the background for security or run it and keep my gadgets constantly plugged in since batteries drain fast.
All Now OK At first I had a problem starting the download, but resolved this quite quickly. The install proceeded after recognising that I already had McAfee installed but was due to expire soon. The Install started by removing the existing version, and replaced it with the new version. However the Install did not update the expiry date. I resolved this by engaging in an online chat with McAfee support, who (with my permission), accessed my laptop and updated the expiry date. All is now fine.
Value for money Go value compared to McAfee update via there web site, just took a few minutes to get my head around using this update but once I realised the way to do it it went through Ok just takes a bit of time
Safe surfing Anyone who uses McAfee will have a love hate relationship with the product. It seems to provide the user with one of the vices it is installed to prevent — pestware (nuisance notifications of its products). In addition it tries to auto-renew at a premium over the new price of the product at Amazon which leaves the customer with a bad taste in the mouth.
However I’m of the generation that still believes in virusguard and it seems many years since I ‘ve had an infected computer with McAfee installed. Either McAfee is very good or the viruses are well hidden.
I bought this product from Amazon and downloaded from the games and software centre in Amazon. The process was extremely quick and effective. Amazon provides a 25-digit activation code which is input into the activation part of McAfee’s website. Amazon instructions are very clear and during installation I had the option to extend my current subscription which still had a few days to run before expiry.
My McAfee on the computer did not show the extended subscription straight away but this corrected after a few minutes. Probably if I had restarted the computer the details would have updated on the McAfee program.

Renewing protectio McAfee don’t make it easy for people to renew their subscription except by automatic renewal where the cost is considerably higher. Having taken a free trial first, it was necessary for that software to be removed before it would accept the key in my McAfee account despite it being fully upto date. The savings is however still worth the unnecessary hassle

A good buy if it downloads easily I have used this token system for renewing McAfee Total Protection subscription for the last two years, I have rated ease of installtion 4 stars as I have not found the process to download the update straight forward, I had the 25 digit code generated twice, but not sure why, and the ‘activate’ link as quoted in the ‘how to renew’ notes, did not work, so i searched their help facility for activate, and found a link that did. I suspect whether one has issues with the update falling over during the process, probably depends on the state of each individual’s device and operating system. I have renewed on the last day each time, and not waited for the licence to expire, partly because I feel this gives continuous security, hopefully. I also ran full scans and had a clearout on each device before updating.
Besides that, as a 67 year old timer, I have managed to renew successfully each time, and this product saves the high subscription the auto renewal prompts quote, which start from about three months before the end of licence date, which I also find pretty annoying. The auto renewal is easily turned off so i don’t think that is a big issue. I switched mine off at the end of the update while still logged into my McAfee account. I had two other devices also running McAfee, and they seemed to automatically pick up the renewal.
Very Easy to Use Once installed I found that it does automatically add you to the auto renewal services but that is really easy to turn off from your account. Instead when renewing I buy the same product for a cheaper price usually through Amazon and instead of having to uninstall the software to install it again, all you have to do is go to your account find the redeem retail voucher link and copy and paste your code into the box that comes up. It then gives you the option to use that as an extension to the subscription that is expiring and it will add another year (or however long you have bought up for) to it. Without the hassle of redoing everything all the time!
Good protection from all sorts of malware. This is the fifth copy I have of this. McAfee want 79.00 every year to renew the license. It is far cheaper to ditch the old copy and install a new licensed copy each year. Ten out of ten for value Amazon.

A good value purchase Yes, I’m rather pleased with this! The first couple of full scans after I installed it on my laptop took quite a while. But now a full scan takes about an hour or so. Also, it has other useful features. It removes cookies, temporary files etc, so there’s no need to buy other proprietary software for this specific purpose. Further, it has a vulnerability scanner which finds and installs your latest software. Before I bought McAfee I’d had a problem with several Windows 10 cumulative updates which my laptop wouldn’t install. For at least two weeks I had been receiving error messages. McAfee installed these updates successfully on the first day that I activated it on my laptop. A pleasant surprise. This was an unexpected advantage of having McAfee Total Protection and I’m glad that I’ve bought it. I think that I shall stick with it from now on.
Easier than I thought ! I already had McAfee Total Protection installed and the renewal was due. Saw it here on Amazon and couldn’t believe the price difference ! Bought here and downloaded the online code. I used the McAfee site and my current account with them to renew. No uninstalling old accounts was involved, just my expiry date was extended for another year. I had to agree to auto-renewal but just set a reminder to alter this in eleven months time. I also did the same for my tablet, and all in the whole process took about 15 minutes. Very pleased with this and will do the same next year. Highly recommended !
McAfee Total Protection 2019 Good value for money compared to going to McAfee direct or simply renewing – even though this is a McAfee product. Easy to install and very little setting up, including on mobile phone (though instructions for downloading/installing the latter could be a little clearer). It uninstalled my existing, expiring McAfee product on the PC before installing the new one, although I don’t know whether it would do the same for a rival product. So far, no problems, though only just installed. Have used McAfee for past few years and would recommend.

Good value - much better than 'buying direct' Product worked fine. Easy to download and replace the existing installation although annoyingly you cannot do this from the mcafee account. Just use the /activate link provided when you buy from amazon and it installs fine. It does irritate me though that every year I get a reminder from mcafee to buy at a ‘specially discounted price’ which is three times as much as on amazon when clearly they know that they can manage the price to third parties so that loyal direct clients do not get ripped off.
Delighted! - saved myself £45 on a renewal Simple to purchase and fairly simple to install. Only needs basic knowledge of the process of installing software.Bought the online version plus the emailed code. I read the other reviews before purchasing and knew to install via Amazon, and a couple of things to watch out for (signing up for renewal, etc.) then went ahead. Had some issues because I use a different email for Amazon and Mcafee tried to update my old subscription rather than the new one, but finally got there. Probably took about an hour of my time, but worth it.

Auto-Renew I’ve been using McAfee for a good number of years on my PCs… and I’ve not had any reason to be concerned.
Obliviously I am generally wary of emails offering me millions in US bank accounts left for me by my Nigerian grandfather I never knew I had.
One thing I will say is – make sure you’ve switched off the auto-renew option… otherwise you’ll end up needing that money your “grandfather” left you

Very easy to use and a fraction of the cost of Mcafee’s renewal product. After entering your download code there is an auto-renewal box but you just need to click “no thanks” and continue with installing. I already had mcafee on my pc and devices and the download automatically updated my device protection once I’d installed it on my pc. Will definitely purchase again next year.

McAfee quoted 89.99 to renew my subscription. I bought exactly the same product from Amazon for 10.99. I wonder how McAfee justify this mark-up? The whole process was very quick and easy. Immediately after purchase, I received an e-mail with a redemption code. I then went into my McAfee account to redeem the code. The software automatically installed and the whole thing was completed within 5 minutes.

Easy to install and good value
Already use McAfee Security for my Pc and Samsung Android tablet. I remove the auto renewal as it tends to be very expensive. I usually purchase new McAfee Security and reinstall manually saving a lot of money. Due to current Covid restrictions this is the 1st time I have purchased a email code verification package. It was very straight forward I purchased the item from Amazon and the download code was received minutes later. Installation onto my laptop and tablet was very straight forward, took about 45 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. All now installed and appears to be working well. Please note compatibility with older Windows systems eg. Vista, I use Windows 10 so fine. Also I uninstalled McAfee App on my Android before reinstalling new download, seemed to work for me. So a good product and very good value for money.
Installation prolonged
Not for the first time I found the installation prolonged. From previous experience I uninstalled my resident McAfee. The program download from Amazon was OK but opening the downloaded file took some time and the initial ‘Install’ did not work at all! Cutting a long story short, following laptop restarts, the third attempt to install finally worked. Is this deliberate on the part of McAfee, hoping that the frustration of this installation process might lead to users resorting to the integral program updating at exorbitant cost???
No problem at all
After reading lots of negative comments I took a risk of purchasing it. I already had mcafee which was due to expire. If you carefully read the downloading instructions while downloading it’s very very easy to instal and renews your existing subscription if you want.
My annual renewal for McAfee rolled around again & to renew via McAfee they wanted to charge me 49.99 for the privilege. For the same requirements I needed, 3 devices for 1 year, I found I could purchase the same subscription via Amazon download for 12.99.
Having read the negative reviews that some purchasers experienced long winded difficulties I decided to go ahead & purchase anyway.
Before installing the new subscription from to my devices I uninstalled the previous version to avoid any conflict. I followed the instructions provided via the Amazon email & then those provided by McAfee during the installation. Installation successful with no problems experienced. I also managed to switch off the auto renew option in my account settings too.
All very straightforward.

Been using McAFee for years now and I always buy a new copy, always much cheaper than the auto renew option. Not immediately obvious if you’re new to this where the menu on the website is for you to load the activation key but once you’ve done that then the process of installing is very easy.
Easy to install
My previous McAfee had expired, so I bought this as it was a 3rd cheaper than buying directly from them and also gave me protection for 3 devices.
I found the installation instructions easy to follow and this downloaded on my laptop with minimum fuss. Took about about 30 minutes to do.
Some people have said that they have had problems but I found this very straight forward. Perhaps because I had McAfee before that’s why I didn’t encounter any technical issues.

Relatively easy to install but i worked in IT for 30 years
Installed on two machines. For each I got the message unable to uninstall old version. I rebooted, resumed the install and it was ok. Standard installation technique which should have been part of the process step. Recieved emails subsequently to say my MacAfee had not installed and the advice on the website did not tell me what I need to do i.e. point my drop down list of installations from the old to the new. Pretty standard stuff if you are technically aware.

I have always used Mcafee and always look around when my renewal is coming up. Amazon had a great deal on the price and far cheaper than automatic renewal through the Mcafee website. Once purchased I had an email immediately with the link to my digital downloads and I picked up the code. Went straight to my Macfee account and linked it to my account and my subscription was extended.
Good product but can have installation issues
Good product but difficult to install. Fortunately, very helpful customer service so the problem was resolved quite quickly and efficiently.
I think I know what to do next time. If you already have an account with McAfee you need to click on your account and find the reference to activation key. This is where one should put in the 25 digit code.

I have used McAffee products for a number of years & always found them to be good value for money, easy to install and manage. To date they have kept my devices free of any infections etc.
Well worth the money for 3 devices.
It was a bit fiddly to install it as it couldn’t remove the previous version, so I had to uninstall the old one from the program files. After restart it installed properly. I ordered the 3 device version, it is running very well on the other laptop too.

Worked eventually! Had to go onto the helpline as when we tried to install on the 3 devices and none of them would uninstall the existing Mcafee anti virus – the helpline were good but it took over 3 hours for the technician to sort everything out !
For IPad Users Its A Headache To Download But Not Impossible
Oh my goodness I had McAfee Total Protection this year and it was highly frustrating to download when I did this last year, this year the app had my subscription to free and wanted me to pay online at McAfee, or so I thought, after hours literally of trying different things I noticed in small blue writing the words add account number here. I didn’t have an account number until I tried the code given to me and put that in and hey presto it worked beautifully. So if you have an iPad follow the email instructions and copy and paste the code in the box from clicking on the small blue words to add account number. This McAfee security gives you VPN too for peace of mind and adds it automatically, once you have successfully added the code – phew! Good value reliable cover too, but knocking a star off as it’s such a faff to download especially a subsequent year.
Alot of people seem to have a problem with mcaffee for various reasons . Its good as an antivirus , and never had a problem in that regard …hence the 4 stars.
What i did have a problem with though , was in small print in my last subscription (mcaffee live) had an auto renewal which you have to turn off manually . I got the product on sale initially , and ended up paying a full $100 without being aware of it , until my savings seemed to have a big chunk gone that week.
So this time around i cancelled the subscription , and got this one …a way cheaper option on sale during black friday for 1/10 of the price , it basically does the same thing . After i cancelled it the last sub , id get 10 desktop messages a day for weeks and it became tedious after a while . Messages like (ok im paraphrasing)….are you sure you want to cancel your sub?….yunno we have protected your machine from viruses over the last year and yer not gonna be protected without us …ok buddy heres 20% off your sub ….did you know we are protecting your emails too ???!!!…oh hey its cyber monday heres 30% off , come on dude …last chance ….ok ..very very last chance …ok very very very last chance , why wont you talk to me …dont leave me!! .
As soon as i installed the new mcaffee product, these messages disappeared and we kissed and made up.

I had many many offers to try other software, but for many years now McAfee has protected my on line activity. Via Amazon I had a very good price. Better price that buying direct or renew via McAfee. I trust my protection to McAfee for another year…and my thanks to Amazon for price and service….that was post or download on line, I went for download on line very easy.
Works well and gives good security
I like the security McAfee offers in realtime, warns me of instant risks on the net to the hardware and blocks malicious ware. The only slight is running in the background drains the battery on PC and android gadget. Have to decide whether to keep it running in the background for security or run it and keep my gadgets constantly plugged in since batteries drain fast.

At first I had a problem starting the download, but resolved this quite quickly. The install proceeded after recognising that I already had McAfee installed but was due to expire soon. The Install started by removing the existing version, and replaced it with the new version. However the Install did not update the expiry date. I resolved this by engaging in an online chat with McAfee support, who (with my permission), accessed my laptop and updated the expiry date. All is now fine.

Go value compared to McAfee update via there web site, just took a few minutes to get my head around using this update but once I realised the way to do it it went through Ok just takes a bit of time
Anyone who uses McAfee will have a love hate relationship with the product. It seems to provide the user with one of the vices it is installed to prevent — pestware (nuisance notifications of its products). In addition it tries to auto-renew at a premium over the new price of the product at Amazon which leaves the customer with a bad taste in the mouth.
However I’m of the generation that still believes in virusguard and it seems many years since I ‘ve had an infected computer with McAfee installed. Either McAfee is very good or the viruses are well hidden.
I bought this product from Amazon and downloaded from the games and software centre in Amazon. The process was extremely quick and effective. Amazon provides a 25-digit activation code which is input into the activation part of McAfee’s website. Amazon instructions are very clear and during installation I had the option to extend my current subscription which still had a few days to run before expiry.
My McAfee on the computer did not show the extended subscription straight away but this corrected after a few minutes. Probably if I had restarted the computer the details would have updated on the McAfee program.
I was impressed by the seemless the activation process.

Renewing protectio
McAfee don’t make it easy for people to renew their subscription except by automatic renewal where the cost is considerably higher. Having taken a free trial first, it was necessary for that software to be removed before it would accept the key in my McAfee account despite it being fully upto date. The savings is however still worth the unnecessary hassle

I have used this token system for renewing McAfee Total Protection subscription for the last two years, I have rated ease of installtion 4 stars as I have not found the process to download the update straight forward, I had the 25 digit code generated twice, but not sure why, and the ‘activate’ link as quoted in the ‘how to renew’ notes, did not work, so i searched their help facility for activate, and found a link that did. I suspect whether one has issues with the update falling over during the process, probably depends on the state of each individual’s device and operating system. I have renewed on the last day each time, and not waited for the licence to expire, partly because I feel this gives continuous security, hopefully. I also ran full scans and had a clearout on each device before updating.
Besides that, as a 67 year old timer, I have managed to renew successfully each time, and this product saves the high subscription the auto renewal prompts quote, which start from about three months before the end of licence date, which I also find pretty annoying. The auto renewal is easily turned off so i don’t think that is a big issue. I switched mine off at the end of the update while still logged into my McAfee account. I had two other devices also running McAfee, and they seemed to automatically pick up the renewal.
Once installed I found that it does automatically add you to the auto renewal services but that is really easy to turn off from your account. Instead when renewing I buy the same product for a cheaper price usually through Amazon and instead of having to uninstall the software to install it again, all you have to do is go to your account find the redeem retail voucher link and copy and paste your code into the box that comes up. It then gives you the option to use that as an extension to the subscription that is expiring and it will add another year (or however long you have bought up for) to it. Without the hassle of redoing everything all the time!

This is the fifth copy I have of this. McAfee want 79.00 every year to renew the license. It is far cheaper to ditch the old copy and install a new licensed copy each year. Ten out of ten for value Amazon.

I read a few reviews of people not being able to register the product so i was worried it may not work..what i found was if you copy and paste the code it misses a digit off so count the number of digits in the activation code and add what is missing…i did and it works fine ….give it a try ..fully recommend …
Yes, I’m rather pleased with this! The first couple of full scans after I installed it on my laptop took quite a while. But now a full scan takes about an hour or so. Also, it has other useful features. It removes cookies, temporary files etc, so there’s no need to buy other proprietary software for this specific purpose. Further, it has a vulnerability scanner which finds and installs your latest software. Before I bought McAfee I’d had a problem with several Windows 10 cumulative updates which my laptop wouldn’t install. For at least two weeks I had been receiving error messages. McAfee installed these updates successfully on the first day that I activated it on my laptop. A pleasant surprise. This was an unexpected advantage of having McAfee Total Protection and I’m glad that I’ve bought it. I think that I shall stick with it from now on.

I already had McAfee Total Protection installed and the renewal was due. Saw it here on Amazon and couldn’t believe the price difference ! Bought here and downloaded the online code. I used the McAfee site and my current account with them to renew. No uninstalling old accounts was involved, just my expiry date was extended for another year. I had to agree to auto-renewal but just set a reminder to alter this in eleven months time. I also did the same for my tablet, and all in the whole process took about 15 minutes. Very pleased with this and will do the same next year. Highly recommended !
McAfee Total Protection 2019
Good value for money compared to going to McAfee direct or simply renewing – even though this is a McAfee product. Easy to install and very little setting up, including on mobile phone (though instructions for downloading/installing the latter could be a little clearer). It uninstalled my existing, expiring McAfee product on the PC before installing the new one, although I don’t know whether it would do the same for a rival product. So far, no problems, though only just installed. Have used McAfee for past few years and would recommend.

McAfee works well for me, does the job it was intended for. BUT remember do not go down the line of renewing the subscription online via McAfee… it will be the worst experience you will ever have and you pay more too! Just rebuy the package like this one.
Product worked fine. Easy to download and replace the existing installation although annoyingly you cannot do this from the mcafee account. Just use the /activate link provided when you buy from amazon and it installs fine. It does irritate me though that every year I get a reminder from mcafee to buy at a ‘specially discounted price’ which is three times as much as on amazon when clearly they know that they can manage the price to third parties so that loyal direct clients do not get ripped off.

I read the other reviews before purchasing and knew to install via Amazon, and a couple of things to watch out for (signing up for renewal, etc.) then went ahead. Had some issues because I use a different email for Amazon and Mcafee tried to update my old subscription rather than the new one, but finally got there. Probably took about an hour of my time, but worth it.

Obliviously I am generally wary of emails offering me millions in US bank accounts left for me by my Nigerian grandfather I never knew I had.
One thing I will say is – make sure you’ve switched off the auto-renew option… otherwise you’ll end up needing that money your “grandfather” left you
