Kids love it. A screw was missing when it arrived but melissa and doug were amazing and sent a whole new set out. The furniture is amazing and the house is sturdy but light weight too. My 16 month old and 31/2year old love it.
We bought this for our 2 year old and she loves it. Its a nice size and the wooden furniture that is included is great. I only gave 4 stars because the elevator can pinch little fingers if you're not careful. It also came slightly damaged, but it wasn't bad enough to return - other buyers have mentioned damage as well.

Muy linda y de buena calidad
Compr esta casita para mis nias de 4 aos y 1.5 aos, quedaron encantadas. Han pasado mucho tiempo jugando, y es perfecta para que compartan y jueguen al mismo tiempo. Los muebles no son los ms bonitos pero compr algunos muebles adicionales de la marca Hape y quedaron perfectamente.
La cochera es un gran plus. Ya tenamos el carrito de la misma marca y cabe perfectamente.
El armado es sencillo y las instrucciones son muy claras.
Qued muy contenta con esta compra.
A great dolls house
we’re very pleased with our purchase- I have a 4 year old and 2 year old and they can both easily play with the house together without too many arguments! It was easy to assemble, the colours are bright and it has lots of space. The furniture that comes with it is also sturdy and fun, hours of imaginative play already had. Only comment would be the lift isn’t as great as it could be as it doesn’t always hold on the different floors and slides down. Haven’t taken a star off though as it doesn’t take away from the brilliant product overall

Beautiful Classic Dollhouse
This dollhouse is so classically beautiful and sturdy. The colours are vibrant and the little “rooms” are perfect for little hands. Two things I would like to point out are 1) the escalator which moves up and down does not stay up between levels or on top. So you need to keep holding it with your hand at the desired level. Also 2) the wooden family figures included are very wobbly and fiddly and do not stay upright. Other than that, 10/10!

I bought this for my boys 2nd or 3rd birthday (can’t recall exactly as they’re 5.5 now), and they loved it. It’s sturdy, easy to play with, and is still being played with now.
We bought this dollhouse over a year ago and it is still a hit!
We love the wooden figures and the car we purchased separately for it. (also Melissa and Doug) The size is big enough for more than one child to play at a time but small enough to fit nicely in a bedroom and not be too cumbersome!
I love the gender neutral colours. It’s kind of a blank slate type of play-house, my kids use it to ‘house’ all kinds of different creatures/dolls! (LOL dolls, Calico Critters, Melissa & Doug dolls..etc..)
Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because one piece of furniture arrived broken- but we decided to glue it together instead of dealing with a return. (the glue permanently fixed the issue).
Das Haus sieht toll aus und ist fr Kleinkinder optimal. Die mitgelieferten Puppen sind etwas gruselig und auch die Mbel knnten schner sein. Aber das Haus selber ist klasse. Nicht zu bunt. Bei uns wird es gern bespielt und zB die Haba Little Friends passen super rein. Der Aufzug hakt etwas, deshalb 1 Stern Abzug.

Nous avons choisi cette maison de poupe pour notre fille de 2 ans. Elle est de qualit, bien solide, pas trs compliqu monter. Cela fait un an et demi qu’elle l’a, elle y joue toujours autant et la maison n’a pas boug d’un pouce, l’ascenseur fonctionne toujours, les meubles sont en bon tat. Rien redire, les jouets en bois c’est solide.
Et la maison est pile la taille pour y accueillir des Sylvanians pour info !

Bellissima! Era da un po’ che la tenevo d’occhio, finalmente l’ho presa in offerta a 53 (un probabile reso). la confezione era un po’ danneggiata ma l’interno integro. Il montaggio facile anche se un po’ lungo, ora ho acquistato anche la macchina. Sono una psicoterapeuta, la uso in seduta con i bambini

Second best toy I have ever bought my children (after bikes). They love their doll house and play with it independently every morning whilst I stay in bed for an extra little snooze. It is beautifully built, a good size for 2 kids to share and I recommend getting the car too, then you get more dolls. I love listening to what the dolls get up to!!!

Excellent dolls house. Well made and exactly as advertised. Easy to construct with good instructions. Arrived on the date expected and is a much loved toy that is played with every day by my 2 year old Grandson who uses it as a house for his cars!
Everything about this dollhouse is great quality. It is strong and sturdy, I can see it holding up for many years. There are 3 nice dolls that are included with the set. They are flexible and can easily be positioned to sit or stand on their own. The wooden furniture is all sturdy, so it’s not going to tip over or run away when the dolls are placed on it. The fridge, stove and cupboard have nice doors that open and close, no fake doors. The door and the garage door are easy to open and close. The elevator slides up and down nicely. I love the wood and the colors that were used, perfect for girls and boys. The design of the house makes it easy for children to access it from every angle.
This dollhouse was delivered in it’s original box which was a little beat up but nothing major. My husband didn’t have a hard time assembling it. The only issue we had was with glue in some of the screw holes but it was an easy fix.
I did have to purchase the car separately, otherwise what fun is the garage. Considering this house has a garage, I feel the car should have been included.

De trs bonne qualit, une bonne taille pour deux enfants, ma fille y mlange des Playmobils, des poupes assez grandes et les poupes qui taient dans la maison. Ct pratique, c’est bien solide et les pentes de toit s’enlvent. Le descriptif annonce qu’en plus arrive comme cadeau une petite voiture et des occupants mais ce n’est pas le cas. Les meubles sont bien sans plus mais a va parfaitement d’autant que les enfants trouvent pleins d’autres choses rajouter et c’est a qui est vraiment bien, une maison pile poil pour laissez leur imagination prendre le relais…

A great dolls house.
This dolls house looks lovely and is well made and sturdy. I have taken 1 star off it because some small bits of the wood were a bit rough, and it arrived with one of the parts missing and an extra of another part. This was very disappointing as I was building it on xmas eve and it was too late to send it back, but the excellent Amazon customer services was able to offer a satisfactory solution to the problem. My 3 year old and 5 year old love it and it is a perfect size for them.
This took about 20 minute to assemble. It looks great but I took off a star due to some minor broken parts and one part that wasn’t glued in place.
After reading previous reviews about how hard the construction job is and seeing other photos of lots of small parts to put together I was surprised to see most of the assembly work was already done. It came as a solid front and back piece, (including the pre assembled elevator) all we had to do was insert the floors and put on the roof. After all the headaches people listed in prior review with assembly I guess this product was revamped.
All the parts were present, all well made, all labelled correctly, dead easy to put together took 30 mins on my own, no problems with any ill fitting parts or having to “make holes bigger”. The instruction book was fine the only problem, which you get with everything you buy nowadays is that they have to give them in seven other languages which makes the print having to be smaller than expected, otherwise drawings are good and to be honest you can just look at the picture on the box it came in. Bought for my grand daughter at a reasonable price, we have also purchased the car (though annoyed that the price suddenly dropped after we had delivery), also purchased a pet set by Hape as Melissa & Doug don’t seem to produce one, the Hape figures are pretty much the same scale so look fine.
One tip for construction, after attaching all floors to the back of the house, lay it on it’s back, put the front of the house on and drop the bolts into their respective holes and loosely attach the barrel bolts, this will help line up the front panel and floors and make fitting into the grooves easier, then tighten the bolts, simples! I have constructed Ikea furniture and to be honest this was a breeze compared to Ikea though they aren’t that difficult either.
I find it unbelievable that some people needed a second person to help and also took 3hrs to construct it!
As for finding damaged parts, yes things break but is it possible some of these were returns after people “had a go” at building it and gave up, in which case checking of returns may be the problem.
Everyone seems to like the look and feel of the house (even our cats), i’m pretty sure grand daughter will love it too.
Ma fille de 2 ans vient de recevoir la maison pour sa saint Nicolas, elle adore! Les petites poupees sont faites pour de petites mains, simples mais articules, elle peut les assoir sur les chaises, sofa, wc… Les petits meubles sont bien penss et les couleurs l’intrieur de la maison sont ptillantes. Superbe jouet.

We love this dollhouse, the furniture is sturdy and cute…and it only took my husband about 3 hours to put together! I had already read some of the reviews so we knew what to expect. As others had stated, the holes do not line up at all, so he just drilled carefully and it came out great…and no swear words either. My child loves playing with peppa pig in there too:).

It is bright and colorful with easy access for the children to play with it. The elevator wasn't cut and fit properly so we can't play with the elevator.. We are trying to fix it.

As the others have said, it wasn’t the easiest thing to put together but totally worth it. This is a FANTASTIC doll house. I know several people who have the KidKraft house (I think sold at Costco for a while) and it doesn’t even compare. This is a great size, very colourful, simple yet fun. The accessories that come with it are great, but I did also get the car and the baby set which really complete the house. I love the handle cut into the roof because I can pick it up to clean under it, or move it around. It’s open enough that a few kids can play at once and not fight for space. Overall, I’m very very pleased with my purchase. Melissa & Doug products rarely disappoint.

Giocattolo acquistato a Natale 2015 per mio figlio. E’ un prodotto molto duttile (ogni giorno cambia funzione: da casa della famiglia ad albergo a caserma dei pompieri, della polizia ecc). Molto robusta e facile da montare e da pulire. L’ascensore necessita un po’ di olio.
El montaje de la casa es algo complicado, pero una vez montada es muy estable. Al ser una casa tan abierta pueden jugar varios nios a la vez y sin molestarse. Viene con algunos muebles y muecos, pero al ser tan grande se queda un poco vaca. Recomiendo comprar algunas cositas mas.
Super Spielhaus von der Grsse und Haptik. Bauanleitung war gut verstndlich, allerdings habe ich fr 3-4 strrische Schrauben/Verbindungen fast so lange gebraucht, wie fr den Rest des Hauses. Aber es war die Mhe wert. Vor allem die Garage und der Lift kommen bei den Kindern (Mdchen 4, Junge 6) gut an.

Great size but lacking in doors and windows to ope
I am a huge Melissa and Doug fan. I chose this dolls house as it is large but hi rise so isn’t huge on the ‘floor footprint’. And mainly because it is so open so can play with it from many angles and see through it.
I love it but my girl who loves dolls houses at other peoples houses isn’t as thrilled as I thought she would be. She is 2. I think having watched her play with other houses, she likes the doors and windows to open and close etc.
Also the furniture included was a bit lacking. Not enough for the size of the house, very basic and a bit poor quality in places eg No bedding for the bed. The toilet etc seemed cheap and not well finished. I’ve added ELC stuff and it is much nicer now.
I bought the car for the garage and fully recommend it.
The house itself is good quality. I think it is something my child will grow into as her imaginary play increases.

Fate spazio in casa perch grande. E’ solida e tutti i pezzi corrispondono, le istruzioni sono chiare, sono forniti anche dei piccoli strumenti per il montaggio. Peccato che i pupazzetti siano solo tre, ma andranno benissimo anche personaggi del Duplo o altre bamboline (non le Barbie che sono troppo grandi).
Devo ancora regalarla, la tengo in garage per il momento… ma ogni volta che la guardo vorei giocarci io! ^_^

Ai bambini piaciuta moltissimo, riescono a giocarci tranquillamente in tre senza intralciarsi e ci passano molto tempo. un po’ difficoltoso montare la parte centrale con l’ascensore se si da soli, quindi assicuratevi di essere in due!! Buona qualit e prezzo assolutamente giustificato per la struttura che davvero grande e ben accessoriata!!
It's a great doll house, however it was really tricky to assemble by myself (and I am no stranger to assembling things), and the last screw still isn't in as the hole isn't lined up. The elevator was really stiff too...we used some chalk to try loosen it which helped a little. All in all a good buy though

articolo arrivato in perfette condizioni all’interno anche se la scatola era un p rovinata. Il montaggio molto semplice e la casa risulta grande e molto solida. Gli arredi inclusi sono quelli della foto e ci sono sembrati pi che suff. L’abbiamo presa come regalo di compleanno ad una bimba di 2 anni che la sta usando moltissimo, con grande soddisfazioni sia nostra che dei suoi genitori.

Meine 4 jhrige Enkelin hat das Puppenhaus zu ihrem Geburtstag bekommen. Nachdem der Opa das Haus recht schnell und gut zusammengesetzt hat, haben wir gleich losgespielt. Gemeinsam lagen wir auf dem Boden. Meine Enkelin war von der Garage sehr angetan. Sie hat sofort Autos gesucht und die Puppenfamilie ging auf groe Fahrt.Aber der Hit ist natrlich der Aufzug. Puppen werden transportiert aber auch Mbel, wenn mal wieder umgebaut wird.
Das Haus hat eine relativ gute Verarbeitung und ist von vielen Seiten zugnglich Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

My young son asked for a ‘toy house’ for his 5th birthday. This Melissa and Doug house ticks all the boxes. We had a task on our hands to find a house that wasn’t pink (why do toy manufacturers feel the need to gender toys????????), but this is perfect. The size is good too. It was a little bit fiddly to assemble in places, but I managed to put this together on my own (it would be a lot easier with two people) and it is sturdy. The instructions were clear.
My son absolutely loves it and plays with it daily. The open nature means he can easily reach in and move the people/furniture around. It’s also lightweight, so he can move it around his room depending on how he’s playing with it. He plays really imaginatively with it.
A wonderful, traditional toy that we’ve really got our money’s worth on.
We also bought the car and doll set to go with this.

We’ve just constructed the dolls house and it took us 1 hr 45 mins.
Few minor problems we encountered were the :-
– instruction images seemed to show one of the floors the wrong way round. Although it was fairly obvious it delayed the build slightly.
– one of the major side frames of the house were not glued together so I had to help my husband hold these pieces during construction.
Other than that it looks good and I can’t wait for Christmas Day now 🙂
Proprio bella sopratutto per l’ascensore ed il garage e forse tra le pi grandi in quanto ha 7 stanze. Resistente e facile da montare.
Superbe maison de poupe !
Tout d’abord, attendez-vous un colis assez grand. Un bon mtre de large sur 60-80cm de hauteur.
J’ai trouv que cette maison en bois avait de nombreuses qualits :
– Design attrayant et ct “chaleureux” des couleurs vives. Chaque pice a ses propres couleurs et son style unique
– Assemblage pas trop compliqu grce aux vis en mtal
– Solidit du bois, certes cela reste un bois compress assez lger mais l’ensemble, une fois mont, tient la route
– Espace optimal des pices. Les enfants peuvent glisser leurs mains facilement
– Nombreux accessoires : ds le dballage, on retrouve de quoi constituer une chambre, cuisine, salle de bain, salon, etc.
– Les poupes/personnages fournis ne font pas “amricains”, ce sont de vrais “poupes” l’ancienne
En conclusion, voici une maison de poupe vraiment qualitative qui se distingue des autres maison en plastique ou en bois de mauvaise qualit. J’ai enlev une toile car cela fait quand mme une somme. Un peu moins cher, cela aurait t l’affaire du sicle. A ce prix, c’est tout de mme un excellent jouet qui ravira garons et filles.
Voici une bien belle maison qui fait trs envie sur le site et qui ne doit pas une fois reue.
Le montage prend du temps malgr tout, au moins une heure, voire un peu plus. La notice est bien faite et est trs claire.
Une fois monte, la maison est trs claire, are et les couleurs sont agrables, ni trop criardes ni fades. Les pices sont de dimension idales pour y jouer avec des playmobil, ou les trois petits personnages livrs avec la maison (qui ressemblent des petits pantins de bois).
Quelques meubles a et l permettent de commencer jouer sans avoir tout de suite envisager des achats pour justement la meubler.
Mes deux garons y jouent avec plaisir, s’inventent plein d’histoires et les playmobil (et certains petits engins Lego…) ont trouv leur place dans la maison et le garage.
La maison se dplace facilement et n’est pas trop lourdre (elle ne bascule pas mme si on la pousse par terre pour la faire avancer).
En rsum, c’est une trs belle maison de jeu, avec laquelle plthore d’histoires sont racontables.
Elle n’est pas du tout, du moins mes yeux, rserve aux filles, des garons peuvent tout fait s’amuser avec!
Ce qui me freine sur la cinquime toile, c’est le prix qui, mme s’il est srement justifi, est quand mme vraiment lev.
Ceci dit, c’est du bois et si l’on regarde des grandes maisons/htels playmobil ou autres, on est aussi dans cette gamme de prix.
Bravo Melissa & Doug, une marque vraiment super, pour cette belle russite!
Superbe maison en bois, de qualit. Les couleurs et les motifs des pices sont vraiment beaux et en font une maison originale et gaie.
Le montage est facilit car le systme de vis est le mme partout (sauf 2 longueurs diffrentes). Mais tout ne tombent pas forcment au millimtre… Compter tout de mme 1 heure au minimum de montage.
Le fait qu’il n’y ai pas de murs latraux et que les “demi-toits” s’enlvent, permet une trs bonne accessibilit aux pices.
Je trouvais l’ide de l’ascenseur trs astucieuse, mais l’usage, ma fille ne s’en sert pas. Les personnages ne tiennent pas debout pendant la manoeuvre, et se coincent souvent les jambes, ce qui empche de monter/descendre.
Le pre ne tient pas debout (une jambe plus courte que l’autre) et le mobilier fourni ncessite d’tre complt: pas de couette pour les lits, pas de vaisselle. Mais le fait qu’elle soit meuble, pour le prix, est un vrai plus !
Les personnages ne sont pas dshabillables.
Le dplacement de la maison est trs ais, grce aux poignes situes sur le toit. Elle n’est pas trs lourde.
Chez nous, les Playmobils ont pris place la place des habitants d’origine…
Un super cadeau d’anniversaire ou de Nol pour une petit fille !

Magnifique maison de poupe qui ravira aussi bien les petites filles que les petits garons.
Elle se monte facilement comme un meuble Ikea.
L’ensemble est superbe et le ct rtro des figures donnent encorde plus de charme cette maison.
Elle est relativement grande, il faut avoir de la place chez soi.
Je recommande vivement ce jouet pdagogique et esthtique.

Coup de coeur pour cette maison que j’ai pu comparer avec la maison de poupes en bois Goki, dans la mme gamme de prix. Elles font peu prs la mme taille.

Pourquoi Dough et Melissa est mieux que la Goki, que j’ai eue la maison ?

– Elle est gaie, elle est pimpante avec ses jolies couleurs, elle dcore la chambre (la Goki est beaucoup plus fade, sans aucune couleur, car la moquette bleue de la photo du site n’est pas colle dans la maison livre).
– Elle est bien accessoirise ! Le petit WC et l’vier sont sympas. Les personnages (papa, maman, un enfant) aussi. Ds qu’on dballe, l’enfant a dj de quoi se raconter une petite histoire. La Goki est livre vide et elle trop grande pour les Playmobils, donc en plus il faut chercher les personnages la bonne taille, et chaque pack cote 15, donc pour meubler la maison, on la repaye une seconde fois.
-l’ascenseur la main c’est original (la Goki a un simple escalier), c’est le petit plus sympa qui attire les garons (reste leur faire comprendre de ne pas mettre la voiture dans l’ascenseur…).
Bref, dans la mme gamme de prix, je conseille cette maison mieux dcore que la Goki.
Fantastic dolls house- I particularly like that it is not especially gender orientated and I have noticed that my daughter’s male little play mates also like it. The colours are lovely and who wouldn’t want a house with a lift? The furniture is toddler proof and the little figures are great for little children to play with and create characters in relation to. My daughter also loves to add little bits of furniture and toys from other bits and bobs and there is room enough to do this. The dolls house is sturdy in structure and I cannot imagine that it will not last for years and years- simply fab

In a world dominated by plastic toys, it’s lovely to find a well designed and sturdy wooden toy which will appeal to both boys and girls. It took a couple of hours to construct, but once done it provides many happy hours of play. The colours are indeed gender neutral enough to encourage boys and girls to use it happily, and the open sides allow for easy group play and no squabbling! The garage and lift are lovely additions, and while the car set can be purchased separately, really you can put any suitably sized car in the garage and any furniture (or wee soft toy, or plastic dinosaur) that you like in the house. Everything supplied is sturdy and should last many years, and the possibilities for children to exercise their imaginations are endless. A truly lovely toy.

Bring on the wood! Here is evidence that you can still create a real sense of play without gaudy bright plastic toys. This wooden dolls house is beautifully coloured with pastels and is both a joy to the eyes as well as the children.
It requires assembly, and although one of the stickers was on the wrong side of a piece of wood, which stumped me for a minute or two, it was for the most part a trouble free experience. It took me over a hour and a half with little people pestering me for the duration. It could be done significantly quicker on your own 🙂
It’s really light and features handles at the top, so you can store it away from central play areas if you need to.
The house itself comes with people and furniture, however leaves scope for additional M&D goodies, such as the car. The design is great though, The central lift is a great touch and really aids the role play to come alive. Ideal for children between two and six, this is a well crafted and thought-out toy.

Flat pack construction is relatively straightforward though one of the stages of constructing is mislabelled slightly. The only real criticism I’d have of this generally good quality product is that the lift, while a brilliant idea and adding dynamism to play, would probably last longer-and be easier to fit- if it was set in a shaft, perhaps plastic.
Fantastic value for money. I’ll agree with other reviewers that construction is not was easy I hoped but all pieces were clearly labelled it prob took about an hour and a half.
Once built it really is a beautiful and fun sturdy dollhouse. My kids have loads of play out of it already and It looks very attractive so I don’t mind leaving it out which means it gets played with more.
It comes with a mother, father and daughter figure. Charming wooden dolls with pose able legs so you can sit them down etc. There are 5 room sets, kitchen, dining room, adults bedroom, kids bedroom and bathroom. The furniture is basic but charming and you don’t really need any other pieces to be happy with this playset. It advertises a car on the box to go in the garage which my kids would like.
The elevator that you pull up and down works very well and adds a bit of interest to the house. I like the fact that when the roof pieces are on they turn into a handle so the house can easily be moved around.
All in all we are thrilled with this house and wish we had got it sooner.
Having lived in the toy box for a while, it was time Nanny, Granddad, Mummy, Daddy and the three offspring moved out into a place of their own. It just so happened that a large three storey town house, complete with garage and internal lift, became available. Not only that, it was partly furnished too. In fact, it was so big that the four adults decided there was room for three relatives to move in with them.
The builders obviously had ease of construction at the forefront, as this self build house is far from difficult to assemble. It might be a bit time consuming, and getting the front door and lift in place is easier with two, but the only tool you will need is the supplied hex (or allen) key. What will be of concern is that the two red floors seem to have been labelled with each other’s sticker. The open nature of the building means all rooms can be accessed by the front or the sides, and the half-roof doubles as a carrying handle.
This partly furnished property comes with a bathroom suite, a double and single bed; a dining table and chairs, kitchen appliances, a settee, small table and a telly. All these pieces are fairly robust and well made and some have opening doors where necessary. Though it isn’t that heavy, it’s sturdy and should stand up to what it’s put through when being played with. And that’s the objective. The only downside of this is that you may very well get badgered to invest in more furniture, etc.
The ‘fun value’ of this can’t be underestimated. It may seem expensive for a doll’s house but don’t look at the price; look at the faces of your children when they’re playing. You can’t put a price on that.
