Faulty item received originally but replacement fantastic
Unfortunately the first one we ordered was wonky, completely at an angle! Very badly put together as one of the wheels wouldn’t even move round.
However amazon very quickly sent a replacement and this one was perfect. Very well made, sturdy and adored by our 1 year old son.

I would still say its worth its money. It is literally like a mini trolley. Solid and sturdy and my daughter was so excited as its like the real thing. Think this is what gives it that extra specialness. It will last forever and her sister will grow into it. It will be a toy that will be used for years. My daughter up until now has had a plastic one that was a lot cheaper but kept needing to be fixed and she still played with that lots. Its a toy that might not be played with for a week or two but then got out again. Definately recommend. Go for it you won’t be disapointed. I am a massive fan of melissa and doug toys anyway. I think they are the best toys around.

The best purchase I ever made! My daughter who is 15 months will not stop playing with this. She pushes it around and it has actually helped her gain confidence in walking. It's very sturdy and built well. Also the best part is that even as she gets older she can play with it ! The shopping cart is worth every penny.

This was/is the best purchase I have made in awhile, My little girl has trouble walking and has a walker she uses everyday..But one day in a store they had a Doug & Melissa Play cart and she was OFF running and wouldn't let go ..unfortunately the store would not sell me the cart ..So I was on a mission to find one And I did through Amazon ..The Doug and Melissa Cart ...Thanks for such a life saver for me it freed up my hand so my daughter has some independence...So So happy!!!

Lovely trolley
My son loves his trolley, it’s just like a really trolley only smaller. We’ve even put it in the back of the car and taken it food shopping with us (you may need some patience if you’re planning on doing this haha)

This is by far one of the best toys I’ve bought for my little girl. She played with this till in a cafe and cried when we had to leave. So I came home and was on the hunt for one. This was a birthday gift and she loves it! Has played with this constantly since her birthday. Such a great toy and the quality of this is impeccable. The actual frame of the register is made of wood and the buttons/levers are plastic. Its very colourful and there are rotating register dials with pictures of items such as food. Really great buy.

Absolutely perfect in every way.. We take it shopping with us every week & my 2 year old granddaughter loves putting her own things in her trolley.
This, while not cheap, is a durable item. Our granddaughter loves pushing it around the shops and you don’t need to carry an actual shopping basket when you have this. It is very solidly made, safe to use and will outlast childhood.
If there is one criticism, it is of the plastic ‘seat’ which will not allow the trolley flap to fold flat as with the full-size trolleys. We eventually took the seat off and zip-tied the flap folded shut without it.
There is much to recommend this as a lasting toy and distraction for 3-6 year olds

This is really easy to build. I built it alone in about an hour – I did use an electric screw driver. Lovely wooden shop, sturdy with lots of shelf space. It is worth ordering the accessories as it doesn’t come with any.

Utterly gorgeous. Not that complicated to put together. Brought the pack that goes with this and looks fab! Only downside is the “mic” doesn’t work 🙁

Having researched others and reading about flimsy plastic and wheels falling off, I took the plunge and purchased one of these for our 3 year old grandchild. Expensive, but well made, robust and sturdy. Definitely recommended.

Just bought this for my daughter as other cheap plastic ones kept breaking, this however is the best bit of kit and most value for money I have ever spent on a product, instructions are very very easy, it’s as solid as they come, the little gimmicks just finish it off and my daughter has had hours and hours of fun, this is the perfect present for any 2-6 year old, and I can rate this product enough.
Don’t spend your money on anything else but this, I promise you 🙂

This is amazing! My little ones love it as much as I do. I used it to transport the washing from one end to the other! We’ve used in supermarkets too – so much fun!

Great quality and sturdy trolley. Well made except for some chipping to the metal. This won’t affect the use though.
Worth every penny
My 20 month old son loves this trolley and takes it everywhere! We take the trolley with us when we go shopping so that he also has a trolley and people always stop us to ask us where we bought it. It’s strong enough not to break when my son climbs into it and survive the occasional crash into the wall!

Seems a bit expensive compared to other kids trolleys but it is very robust and will withstand a lot of use. Looks the same as the real thing and is a fantastic toy for playing shops. Well worth the money.

We had a beautiful wooden trolley from GLTC before this which literally fell apart; the wheels didn’t steer and left marks on the floor, eventually they repeatedly fell off. We’ve been using this one for about 6 months now (indoors) but it is so durable I have no doubt it will last for as long as my children want to play with it.

Brilliant. Doesn’t tip. My 17 month old has great fun with this in Tesco. Seems expensive but the cheaper ones can tip over leaving a child with a nasty injury. So in my eyes worth every penny

So very pleased I bought this for her 3rd birthday, she’s thrilled to bits. She wants to take it to Tesco to help mum do the shopping!! I can highly recommend this item.

I love this realistic shopping trolley. Adults and children alike think it’s beautiful. Strong and sturdy, and doesn’t tip over. Even with 3 young kids playing with it! It has a brake system as well so if someone tries to stand on it or get into the basket it doesn’t move.

She just started walked assisted or holding on to something when she got her shopping cart. 2 and a half weeks after she started playing with her cart she started walking unassisted. wow. It was easy to assemble and sturdy enough for my four year old to climb into it and roll around in it before I noticed and ended that nonsense. Even after a month when other toys are usually destroyed by my little hellions, this one still looks and works like brand new. Great quality product.
It was easy to assemble and sturdy enough for my four year old to climb into it and roll around in it before I noticed and ended that nonsense. Even after a month when other toys are usually destroyed by my little hellions, this one still looks and works like brand new. Great quality product.

AMAZING PRODUCT AS ALWAYS FROM MELLISSA AND DOUG.
Perfect for my small 2year old. We take it food shopping every week and she LOVES it. So many people cue and comment how sweet and what a wonderful idea. Supermarkets should stock them! Would make parents shopping trips such a better experience if you have a toddler/preschooler. My 7year old can also push this and not look took big.
Sturdy shopping trolley
Brilliant, sturdy trolley, which my granddaughter received for her 2nd birthday. Has taken it shopping, and her parents have had a number of complements and enquires where it was purchased from.
My toddler loves this grocery cart! Added bonus that it has an area for the doll to sit! We will be adding some foam bumpers on it to avoid any damage in the playroom.

Great quality
Excellent quality as to be expected from Melissa and Doug. Cardboard nice and strong to withstand toddler play. The cans have lids you can open and close so the kids have lots of fun playing with them.

This was a Christmas present for my son, purchased in the hope it would make my weekly shop a bit less stressful. He absolutely loves it, it’s taken the tantrums out of shopping, and it feels really nice and sturdy. The amount of comments we’ve had when walking around with it is incredible, and my son loves putting stuff in his trolley. The only downside, which has more to do with my son than the item, is that it allrently is great fun to crash into things and people, which isn’t the most comfortable thing! We’ve bought a pool noodle we’re hoping to cut down to size and attach to the front to minimise any damage done!
