Got these for my husband. They are now his go to work shoe. They are super comfortable and durable according to him. They also have arch support which he loves. He wears a size 10 so that’s what I ordered. They fit him perfectly. Enjoy!

Normally by different brand; decided to try KEEN based on trying other brand. Very happy with KEEN. Only recommendation would be for a little longer tongue for comfort.

These shoes are great! I wore Ecco waterproof hiking shoes for years but they quit making them so I researched a good replacement and got these Keen shoes and they’re better than any of the Ecco’s I used to wear. While they look heavy they’re very lightweight and have great support and they have a cool look too.

These shoes are great or I wouldn’t be on my fifth pair. They are so comfortable and really hard to wear out. I think I still have four pairs of this shoe in various states of getting worn out. Using the last time I use them is when I reseal a driveway! At that point they are ready for the shoe heaven. Highly recommend.

This is my second pair, I liked my first ones so much I bought them again. They do fit a little tight at first, but after you break them in, they feel great. Good traction, thr few times I stood in water my fee stayed dry so I guess that worked. I will say my first pair lasted me about a year and a half. This pair is about on track to last the same amount. They are a solid pair of shoes.

Started wearing these shoes for landscape work right out of the box. They feel great, are waterproof, and not too heavy. Best pair of shoes I’ve had for the kind of rugged work I do. Definitely worth the price.

I need wide fitting shoes and needed complete comfort in a walking shoe, combine that with a dislike of pink/lilac/pretty accents and I decided to go for a mens walking shoe, having tried numerous styles for women. I went half a size down to my usual women’s sizing and found these perfect. Waterproofness has been tested, they are really sturdy (a bit heavier than some walking shoes, but that didn’t bother me) and nice and grippy on all surfaces. Very pleased.

Love the shoes. Comfortable out of the box. I buy a pair /year. Getting a bit pricey.

The shoe fits properly and isn’t too heavy. I bought these to replace my Merrill’s which didn’t last. This is also have Keen Hiking boots and sandals which all rock!

My Asics are a size 10, and they fit me just right, but these just a bit too big even with a heavier sock. The insole that comes with the shoe isn’t very good considering the cost of the shoe, but maybe it’s my unusually high arch support. I plan on getting another insole with better arch support in the near future. I contacted Keen about the other insoles they offer, but I’m not satisfied with their response so far (automated response). Their insoles with a higher arch support cost $50, but their website doesn’t give you an idea of how high the arch support is. They offer low, medium, and high, but it would be great if they would measure how high each arch support is. Unless I hear from them in the next few days I will looking at another brand.

An early and avid Keen shoe wearer, I vowed never to buy a pair of Keen shoes again. This after having two bad new Keen shoe experiences some ten years ago. Never say never. I hike a lot and thus quickly wear-out hiking boots. For this reason the decision was made to “go cheap”. A pair of Propet men’s Ridge Walker boots were purchased a little over a month ago. What a mistake. My feet howl in pain. Since Targhee 3 has solid reviews on reputable review sites, it is back to Keen.

So far so good. After a couple of weeks of breaking in and my first hike of 9 miles, this is what is learned:

    – The shoes are stiff, breaking in takes time. This is not necessarily bad however. The build appears solid.
    – The soles have little cushion, inserts are in order.
    – The toe box is nice and wide.
    – My feet liked the change, the first hike was a pleasure.
    – The shoe laces are 48″ and barely functional. This raises the question: If Keen is willing to cut corners in such an obvious place, what other corners are cut? Having too short shoe-laces is not wise.
    – Cloth loops are used instead of buckles, not a fan. The top ones appear less than sturdy.

Replaced a pair of North Face which I’d worn for several years with Keen. Excellent fit and build. I do a lot of difficult hiking and these have performed nicely. An easy 5-stars.

This is my second pair of these exact shoes. They are waterproof, very comfortable out of the box and very slip resistant. I will be buying another pair when I wear these out in 6 months. The only complaint is after about 5 months the rubber sole began separating g from the shoe. I was able to glue it back and had no further problems.

This is my 2nd pair of the Keen Targhee line of hiking shoe. The 1st pair lasted me about 18 months of daily wear. I am on my feet 10 to 12hrs a day so these had a lot of miles on them. The new Targhee 3 seems more comfortable than the Targhee 2 that I had before. These are great shoes for work or play. I highly recommend them.

Hab schon solche in Grau. Nach 3 Jahren fast tglichen Tragen lsst langsam die Dmpfung nach. Aber der Schuh ist immer noch Top. Nun gleiche Gre in Schwarz. Angezogen. Super! Das einzige Manko sind die Einlegesohlen (Schwitzfu). Die taugen nichts. Gegen Lowasohlen getauscht. TOP!!!

I’ve been wearing Targhee shoes since Keen started selling them (many years). I’ve always worn a UK size 15 Targhee wide fit. However, Keens advice with the Targhee 3 is to go a half size bigger as they are slightly smaller than previous models. I could not find a 15 1/2 size so opted for the 16 and for me width ways this has been a perfect choice, they are a tad long in the toe but not not all sloppy, I wear thin socks so a thick sock would negate any excess length issues in my opinion. Keens advice to go 1/2 size bigger than usual is bang on and Targhee shoes have been the best shoes I have ever found, they outlast anything else I’ve tried by miles, (literally).

Keen approaches perfection. Like so many Keens I’ve owned over the years they are phenomenally comfortable right out of the box, relatively light, tougher than boiled owl, the waterproofing isn’t perfect but is as good or better than the competitors’, toe box is foot-shaped, and did I mention that they’re rugged? Like a bag of hammers.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst of all, these are the best shoes ever!!! The only reason I gave one star less is because I couldn’t get the exact colour I would have liked the most. I got (Steel Grey/Captains Blue), thinking they were the ones in the picture, but are not. I can’t find the ones in the picture anywhere which would seem to be an olive/captains blue. As a dedicated keen shopper I would like the option to get this colour in the future.

The Targhee III feels comfortable immediately and has the nice wide fit I need. I like the new style of the Targhee vs. the previous model. A great fitting and looking shoe that I am wearing everyday.

I decided to try it out, it was recommended as a good shoe for people suffering from plantar fasciitis. I have only worn it twice, so-far so-good feels comfortable, like the arch support. I like the look of the shoe, seems to be well made.

The Keen shoe fits perfect with a roomy toe box, the lacing also includes a connection to the heel so no slip.
I walk four miles every other day and for the first week wearing them, I have no complaints. After a month if I still Like them I will buy another pair to save in case they change the fit or style.

Waited awhile to review and I literally love these shoes. I wear a woman’s size 13 so I’m use to big and clunky shoes, but these are not so big and clunky they they are obnoxious! They keep out dirt and water no problem and my feet feel great, even after a long hike!

Well made though a fairly long break-in period. I added an insole because they have a large volume interior for wide feet. After wearing them for a month traveling in Europe they worked very well.

I had bought a pair of these last year for our Alaskan cruise because they are water proof and they are the most comfortable hiking shoe I’ve had. I usually have trouble finding shoes and sneakers that are comfortable so I bought this additional pair to have incase they are discontinued.

I needed a comfortable pair of shoes for working outside at a landscape nursery here in Florida. After 6 months I started working in a local food pantry as well loading and unloading trucks with a lot of walking. This is my second pair of KEEN – Targhee III. The first pair lasted a whole year wearing them every workday. They are very comfortable and durable, that’s why I bought the second pair with no hesitation. I paid less for them here than on the manufacture’s web site.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI just received these shoes a week ago but I just love them! They fit perfectly and display the same level of quality I’ve come to expect from Keen footwear: superb. So far I love these shoes!!

Full transparency: I’ve worn the Targhee II for years but chose to pay a little more for the Targhee III this time in hopes that the leather won’t separate from the sole, just behind the toe box. I think/hope that the design of the Targhee III will prevent that from happening.
