Very comfortable and good quality! Wore them in Quebec on a few hikes and a via Feratta without breaking them in and they were awesome. Longest hike was 6 hours with incline and they were great! Very happy with these.

I’m about a size 8 in sandals, and size 9 in hiking shoes (don’t like to feel the front of it). I tried these out in stores and ordered on Amazon. And I had to get 8.5 in these, even if my other Merrell hiking boots were 9. But other than sizing, I LOVE these shoes! I wore them hiking a week in the Alps and they were amazing. Didn’t need to break them in, and paired with smartwool socks I had no blisters or any other issues. They are light, have great traction, and don’t come off unless you untie them. That last part is nice if you’re hiking in the mud at all. I have narrow, bony feet, and some shoe laces rub the top of my foot, but not these! I also like a roomy toe box, and these fit the bill once again. I’m getting a 2nd spare pair in case they discontinue this model!

In these pandemic times, my husband, dogs, and I have taken to long hikes of 7-8 miles. It’s a lot of hills and on the first one, I bruised a couple of toenails. I decided I needed new hikers and although the fit is true, I went up a half size for more toe box room. We’ve been doing this hike 3 days a week since March, so 6 months. No problems since switching to these hikers. Bought a second pair so they don’t discontinue when I need another pair. I love them.

I’m always hesitant buying shoes online, but my old shoes were all worn down and I was slipping and sliding on the dirt trails I walk on. I go hiking on many different trails near my house. These shoes have been amazing in every situation! I’ve hiked up and down steep hills, climbed rocks, gone down paths with really loose gravel, and even used them while running on both the packed-dirt trails and pavement. I love that they have an amazing grip on any terrain and they’re extremely comfortable! I’ve gone on at least 8 hikes (That were at least 7 miles each) and one long run since getting these and I’m very happy with them! I also didn’t know what size to get because I heard you should sometimes order up for hiking shoes, but I decided to stick to my regular shoe size and it fits perfectly. Sometimes when you first put them on you have to take a second to adjust them, but once you start moving they’re great!
