It assembles easily and the cushion is a great for sitting. The decal letters are a wonderful bonus that I put on other trunks we have around the house.

A gift for my Granddaughters first Birthday looks so good and the parents liked how well it’s made she’ll have it for many years.
My granddaughter loves it. When she isnt putting things in it, she sits in it like her own fort.
A few reviews complain about getting this put together? The instructions were clear – all parts fit correctly and note that if the base board is installed the right way round, the screws are recess into the wood and the unit can be used on any surface without scratching it! The lid mechanism also works well and tgg hi e unit had a nice glossy finish.
Only criticism is that the thickness of the front board could do with being a little thicker, where the cam locks are positioned, the front board bulges slightly when they tightened- however, being white means that this doesn’t show too much.
We like the safety feature that allows our 1yr old Granddaughter to open and close it without worrying about injury. Very durable

The lid is too thin to use the normal screws that were provided. We had to improvise and added bolts to keep it together. It’s much sturdier now.

Overall there toy box is very nice and fairly sturdy. The only problem we had was one of the levers came bent making it extremely hard to fit into the ball joints, this resulted in the whole thing ripping out. We ended up having to use wood filler 3 times before we were able to rig the lever to fit. Otherwise, it was very easy to assemble and the instructions were great.
Very sturdy and easy to build. The finish is very good and seems durable. The only flaw is the ball joint attachments for the spring arms is not as sturdy as it should be. I had one of the lid attachments fail when snapping the spring arm onto it. They should have used the same size screws as the hinges. Of you but this box, throw away the H screws and use flathead the same size as the F screws.

This toy chest is amazing!! Super study and great quality. Comes with a sticker pack so you can customize the name on it or what ever else you would like. Extremely great quality for the price. I am 6’4 and 250lbs and this thing holds me up and doesnt feel unsafe at all. The struts for the lid are strong no worries for the little ones. This is not a cheap made product by any means. Instructions are great and make it easy to set up.

Good toy box, only down side is the paint chips a little easily but kids are going to ruin it anyway so that’s not a very big issue and a couple pieces of hardware were missing. Lol all in all it’s a cute and sturdy, great for the price you pay and pretty easy to set up.
Assembly was a little tough for my weak wrists because instructions advise no power tools. I’m a little concerned about slipperyness of the seat. Although there is some minor anti slip protection I’m probably going to add up adding a layer of rug saver. The handles are really nice to move it around the kids room and it comes with 3 of each letter so I can put both my kids names on it.
I love everything about this toy box! It’s super cute and matches so well with my sons nursery. It’s a decent size and plenty of room for all of his toys. Seems like just the perfect size for him to access his toys and sit on the bench as he gets older. I am having the problem of the lid staying open, however it shuts no problem when you put the seat pad on top. Not sure if it’s supposed to do this or if we did something wrong. Assembly was fairly simple, but time consuming. It took my husband about an hour to set this up.

I had purchased another box from another website and though it was nice, the paint was thin. This box is beautiful. The soft pad is a nice extra and the safety hinges work great.

This came late, but it was so easy to assemble, is sturdy, and perfect for my 5 year olds toys in my living room! I may get another one for her bedroom as well! She loves that she can sit or lay on top while reading her books and I love that you can customize it with the lettering! Great for the money! 100% would recommend.

Everything about this item is great for the price. However if you’re not “assembly” or “builder” savvy you can get confused with the instructions for installing the hinges. They should be more clear in the instructions. I threw them away and assembled with ease but that’s because I’m awesome. Haha great product though!
Assembly was a two person job and a little difficult to accomplish, but once we got it together, it is study and spacious for toys. My daughter loves sitting in the padded seat to look at books too.
I gave 4 stars only because i wish it was a bit bigger. But for the price it is great. The lid cannot slam down on my toddler, it is a cute bench for the play room that he actually likes sitting on and can hold a fair amount of toys. Thinking about buying another for our living room to put throw blankets in as well. Cute piece!

The toy box is just as described. Great quality. We bought it for our 1 year old granddaughter so obviously the hinges on it that prevents it from smashing her fingers was very important. The stick on letters were not in the box but that was okay since we were putting wooden letters on it anyway.

Very sturdy and safe, I can sit on it with my daughter if I wanted and not worry about it breaking. Was happy to invest a little bit more in something of this quality.
I would say it’s not the simplest thing to assemble, but if you take your time, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

-Assembly was easy, although the screwdriver tool that came in my package was too small for the bigger lock
screws, so I’d recommend having your own flat head or phillps screwdriver for the assembly. Material is great
quality & sturdy. Shocks for the lid assembly work great and are very safe for the kiddo’s fingers. Gloss paint

-The only other thing I should mention here, and the only reason the product receives 4 stars from me is that the
bottom of the toy box rests on the exposed screw heads. This isn’t a problem on carpet, but we have hardwood
so I had to go grab some felt tabs to cover them as to not scratch up our floor. I feel like this should be included
with the product.

A great purchase. Comments were correct that it’s important to allocate some time to assemble; not due to difficulty, rather, there’s more screws and parts than expected which is clearly for the reason of high quality. For the price, I was pretty much sold when I lifted up the box and realized this wasn’t partical board to my surprise. They also spent money on the shocks to open and close. For everyone with kids just learning to walk, getting your hands caught due to curiosity is a concern. I’d doubt you’d see that risk with this product.
Love this toy chest. My daughter can easily lift the lid herself to get her toys out (just under a year old). It fits a lot of toys in it and is very sturdy. Easy to assemble, worth the money.
Went together fast and easy. I used wood glue on dowels and seems as well as locktight on screws as a habit. Not sure it was neccesary, probably would have been good without.
This is a great toy box. had a little trouble getting name on nice and straight, the o’s didn’t really match the other letters in the name “BROOKLYN” they seemed smaller, but still looked good..
I like the toy chest because my 1yr old grandson can open and close it by himself. In the front there is a opening so he can close it without hurting his fingers.
Honestly, pretty darn sturdy for the throw together type of furniture you get in stores nowadays. Good instructions. Make sure you read the instructions the struts carefully before mounting. Worst case, slide something under the metal ring and pull to release the clamps.

I bought this toybox for my grandson’s 1st Christmas. It is very well made and the seat was just the perfect color for his room. Husband, dad and brother-in-law all 3 had a hand in putting this jewel together. They said it wasn’t bad, LOL! Overall I love this toy box which is the perfect size and super cute. It will hold an abundance of his “baby” toys that are smaller right now.

I love how it fits in with my living room, makes it look a lot nicer than the cheap one i had before. In order for it to close you must force it down by yourself, so i like that bc my kid likes slamming things if she can. The little bench is perfect for her & her friends to sit on & read a book. The space on the inside is just right for all her toys (she has a crap ton more in her room) that she keeps in the living room. I didn’t build it but my child’s Aunt put it together, it was fairly easy but she did need another person to help. We won’t be using the sticker’s bc i like to give my things away to those who can’t afford much so if in the future she grows out of it, we can give it to someone else.

It was easy to put together until I got to the lid. I needed a second set of hands to hold the lid in place while I tightened the screws on the hinges. Overall, relatively easy to put together. All of the hardware I needed was included.
Firstly, the parts and instructions were laid out so beautifully – making it very easy to assemble. It still took some time, but that’s because this is a quality product.
It is made of real wood, not cardboard/plywood/whatever cheap materials others may use. This wood is beautifully painted.
All in all, an excellent product that I’m very glad I purchased.
One set of holes that hold the lid jacks was drilled too deep and I had to get different screws.
It does seem to be very sturdy and it does hold a lot of stuff.
