- 1. Why can’t I play Netflix/Amazon Prime/Disney videos normally?
They cannot be played normally because of copyright restrictions. Please connect the projector to Fire Stick/Chromecast/Roku/PC enjoy the video. Some streaming videos or shows (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney) are protected by copyright and not play properly.
- 2. Why is there no sound when playing videos?
If the video has no sound, most of it is because the video is Dolby Sound. Like other projectors on the market, the projector does not support Dolby Audio. If the video has no sound, please turn off Dolby Audio.
(Approximate path: Settings > Display and Sound > Audio > Dolby Digital Out > Dolby Digital (off)).
- 3. Why can’t I connect my Android phone via USB-C to HDMI cable?

- 5. Why is it not recognized when I insert a USB stick?
The Mini Projector supports USB2.0 (black) USB flash drives (up to 64GB), please check the file system format of the USB flash drive on your computer. The projector supports USB flash drives with “NTFS” and “FAT32” system file formats but does not support “exFAT”.
- 6. Does the Mini Projector need to be connected to a power source at all times in order to work?
The Mini Projector does not require batteries and must always be connected to a power source to function properly.

excellent projec
Arrived before estimated time, happy with product, struggled connecting to my phone but was able to connect to my laptop and apple tv box, overall made up with this product and can not wait to use it for movie nights 🙂 definitely recommend

Awesome performance is second to none, great value for money and the image quality is Brilliant, Easy to use!! Great space saver too as boys share a room so no need for x2 tvs or monitors
Super Easy
Setup for this isn’t as tedious as it may sound, in fact took me less than 5 minutes to get this protector completely setup and my PS5 connected to the back. It’s better to use this at night, where it’s dark.
Issue resolved
Maybe I misunderstood, this does not replicate your phone screen on a projector. You can connect it to a device (only if port is compatible) and watch your phones pictures, videos etc but not from an app. Picture quality is not great but it’s cheap.
update : they have resolved my issue and I must say I am very impressed by their after sale team. They sent me a new projector which meets my expectations. Thank you!!
Not bad for its price
Saw alot of mixed reviews on this, thought id try it as it was cheap – ive hooked up my series s to it & to be fair its brilliant.
Nice and clear & screen is at around 60″ – speaker is decent aswell, though you can add speakers or headphones with the aux po
Cheap, cheerful but perfect for the price
For a cheap projector it’s great (we used it for some filming, then decided to watch some films on it). It’s not a premium product but it great fun, and you can plug it into an external speaker for a film nigh

It doesn’t come with the attachment part that you would need to connect your phone to the projector so I recommend ordering one to go with on Amazon if you’re also ordering as a gift.
But the quality is pretty good! Didn’t come damaged and a lot bigger than I thought it would be!

Little black dots have formed on the screen. Not my eyes playing tricks on me. Other than that good product will be returning tho due to that problem. Not happy. The black dots formed due to dirt on inner lenses which you cant clean. Not very happy!!! was offered a new ones and when that had the same problem they sent me another.
Missing broken hoping for resolve
Plain off shelf packaging nothing extra done by amazon, broken earth pin,hdmi to hdmi useless for any use apart from a possible laptop or dvd player. I’ve sent them an email , hoping for some logical and welcoming help re faulty power pack and none usable connection cable , further to this customer services replied and all is looking good,for those connecting a phone there is a good hdmi to USB c adapter on amazon 7 odd , does the job
Everything is amazing!
It came with all the kit listed in picture. Easy to set up with firestick and physically put on tripod included. Great picture quality when pointed far away and up close. Plus the built in speaker is great for bedrooms, living rooms etc!
decent projecto
I bought the projector and it did stop working after a little while but after contacting customer service, they were very professional and happy to send a replacement which has had no issues.

For a cheap little projector it’s been like being at the movies at home. Has great picture quality and even decent sound. Missus says it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought and I quite agree. Excellent value, though I have noticed it’s jumped up a tenner since I bought it last month. Still, go for it it’s worth it. (Video does it no justice).

I love it! It’s really small and doesn’t take up space. I wish the tripod was a bit taller but so far I like watching films on it. Sometimes the image gets blurry but it comes back to its normal quality later on 🙂

The projector was great. The brightness and sound quality was also excellent. The remote was excellent. But one thing wrong with the speaker is that it does not have good instructions
Amazing value for money (I paid 39 with an Amazon deal). The projector is tiny, very portable, but throws out a big screen with decent brightness (ideally you would use this in low light / darkness), and has great connectivity. It is very short throw compared to my other larger projector (i.e. it projects a big screen at a small distance), but has a handy zoom feature to reduce the screen size up to 25% if desired. This also has the quietest fan on any ‘budget’ projector I have owned which is a bonus. My only grumble would be that the power lead is too short so I will probably end up extending or replacing it for a longer lead. Whilst this wouldn’t replace your main TV it is a competent portable projector that can offer a good viewing experience. Very impressed and quite amazed they can put it out at this price.

El proyector est muy bueno, buena calidad y brillo, lo he utilizado tanto en el cuarto y en la terraza con una distancia de poco ms de dos metro, pero la calidad de la imagen si baja y se ve ms borroso. Tiene que estar bien centrado si no no se puede acomodar bien la imagen.
Compr el proyector hace casi 2 aos, de hecho era el modelo previo al que est ahorita, estaba super contento, buena imagen y excelente servicio, hace unos meses empez a mostrar una mancha azul en medio de la pantalla, pondra una resea mala de no ser porque me comuniqu con el vendedor y me antendi Cassie, inmediatamente me dijeron que por mi pas no podan reemplazar el proyector pero sin ningn problema me hicieron el reembolso de lo que pagu, el proyector en si es muy bueno y pienso compralo de nuevo con el reembolso
Bought this little guy to bring on camping trips about to test her out this weekend, as far as I can tell so far with the little putting around ive done with it at home I’m very impressed it’s clear and does what its intended for. I have a Bluetooth speaker I paired with it the speaker volume is nothing to brag about on the projector itself but does the job too. Overall great bang for your buck!!

Recientemente, tuve la oportunidad de probar el proyector AKIYO 5G WiFi Bluetooth con trpode, y debo decir que qued impresionado por su rendimiento y caractersticas. Como entusiasta del cine en casa, siempre busco proyectores que ofrezcan una experiencia visual inmersiva, y este dispositivo no me decepcion.
La conectividad 5G WiFi y Bluetooth fue otro punto destacado de este proyector. Pude transmitir contenido de forma inalmbrica desde mi dispositivo mvil, tablet o computadora sin problemas. La configuracin fue sencilla, y la conexin se mantuvo estable durante toda la reproduccin. Adems, la opcin de conectar dispositivos externos, como altavoces o auriculares Bluetooth, permiti mejorar la experiencia de audio.
El proyector tambin viene con un trpode incluido, lo cual es una gran ventaja. El trpode proporciona estabilidad y flexibilidad para ajustar la altura y el ngulo de proyeccin segn las necesidades. Esto facilit la configuracin del proyector en diferentes entornos, ya sea en una habitacin oscura o en el patio trasero para una noche de cine al aire libre.

La calidad de imagen es muy buena, si es full 1080 HD. Fue muy fcil conectarlo. El precio fue excelente. El sonido es regular, pero si se conecta an sistema de audio es mejor.

Al principio, no estaba muy convencido con esta compra, pero me lleg con un da de anticipacin. Al recibirlo y posteriormente ponerlo en funcionamiento me dej sin palabras. Material de buena calidad, precio justo, excelente imagen y excelente atencin de la empresa que inmediatamente se puso a mi disposicin para aclrame dudas sobre el funcionamiento del producto.

Me gust mucho la imagen, mi nica referencia de proyectores econmicos era un Steren que tena que estar totalmente oscuro para que se vea medianamente bien, pero este cuando est oscuro se ve suuuper bien, con poquita luz ( indirecta) an se ve bien aumentando le el brillo
AMO este proyector :)
Desde que lo conect no ha hecho ms que sorprenderme. El proyector es muy pequeo y no abarca tanto espacio pero la nitidez de la imagen y el color que tiene son maravillosos, de igual manera hay una opcin de moverle a la configuracin, y si lo tienes como yo, conectado a una computadora, puedes tener varios programas para mejorar la calidad de la imagen.
El proyector es muy bueno, con sus 1080p a 60hz.
Te servir para ver pelculas, conciertos, jugar videojuegos o ver imgenes.

Buena calidad, me lleg un poco antes de lo previsto y no es tan ruidoso como dicen, la verdad no considero que el sonido del ventilador sea un distractor ya que suena bien la bocina. Imagen ntida, fcil de usar, ligero y buen tamao.
Good for relatively close to the wall
Easy to use, works great, only downside would be that it doesn’t focus greatly from distances over 3/4 metres. the screen size cant be adjusted unless physically moved. otherwise perfect and very compact! 🙂
Good after sales services
Product is ok for the price.
Picture quality is decent with the bottom part of the screen being blurry at times if you want a very large image. It goes out of focus quite easily when not in use but is quick to adjust and watch your media.
Like the ability to connect my Amazon firestick and have access to my subscriptions.
However my lamp did blow out but customer services was quick to resolve my issue and I can go back to enjoying movies on the big screen.
Noisier than expected but soon becomes background noise
When you can find the perfect spot to display the projection the quality is really good. For the price the product is beyond ideal. The only downside I’ve found is the noise of the fan however once you’re watching something it becomes background noise and isn’t too annoying. The customer service given by akiyo was to a very high standard and sherry was able to help me resolve the issue.

Sounds depends for devices what you connect with project. Quality of image is good I cannot say that is excellent but for this price I am happy.
HDMI cable doesn't work
Doesn’t work. Plugged my phone in via a USB C to HDMI adapter – didn’t work. I figured ok, maybe it’s the phone or something. Then plugged my laptop in via HDMI and ALSO didn’t work, and worse it makes my laptop stream bug out! Very frustrating. Can the seller tell me is there something obvious I’m missing? Otherwise I will certainly require a full refund.
***UPDATE***
I switched out the HDMI cable that came with the projector to one of my own, and voila! It works now. Very annoying that the lead they sent doesn’t work and I wasted hours trying to figure out the problem. Projector looks great to be fair and the audio is better that I thought it would be. Still doesn’t work with my phone though but I know that USB C to HDMI can be tricky so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt with that one.
Fantastic little projecto
If you are looking for a projector that just works with a fantastic screen and playing time and a small speaker look no further the projector just smash it out the water and with clear visuals.
Have no problems for the first 3 days and it’s just simple amazing. Small size and easily to take away anywhere so make sure you have a wonderful time with family and friends when watching.
Could be brighte
To be fair, for the price it’s pretty good. I’ve been using my console mostly, however I have watched a few films as well, and whilst the brightness isn’t great during the day, at night, all lights off on a white wall it’s fine.
Sound isn’t too bad, however I have been using an external speaker which is quite loud. It’s not quite a cinema experience but pretty damn good
I’m pretty impressed with the projector.. I would somewhat say it kinda exceeded my expectations.. the product is better seen in person than online. Audio does come from the projector and it does have a stand and an hdmi Calle included 🙂 although the power cable isn’t the longest but that’s not a big issue. In terms of audio sound it’s not really really noticeable if you have something playing.. I’d reccomend a speaker tho.

It comes with a remote but will need batteries and a hdmi cable, it’s really good the focus button is smooth and the further u move it back the bigger the screen gets

Overall a very good product for the price, easy to set up and a good quality display and sound!
INSTALLATION – the projector is very easy to set up, used with an amazon fire stick and it projects the stick as soon as you plug it in without any adjustments to the settings.
DISPLAY – display is average but can be adjusted depending on how far the projector is from the wall or screen, room needs to be dark to achieve the best screen quality, if the projector isn’t parallel with the screen the screen does get distorted – width of the display is longer at the bottom than at the top but this can be adjusted. It comes with a tripod which is very handy and it can be moved and placed in a variety of angles and positions.
SOUND – the volume isn’t the best, in a small room it is ok but in a larger room the volume probably wouldn’t be the best quality. The projector also makes a sound when in use from the fan that is built inside, this does affect the sound quality as you can hear this when in use, but when the volume is up to its maximum you cannot hear the fan.
