First car sent didn’t work which rather ruined Christmas Day however Amazon quickly dispatched a replacement and have to say it’s fantastic. My son loves playing with it and it seems very sturdy – even surviving 3 metre fall off a sea wall!!

Ik hou persoonlijk totaal niet van dit soort dingen… maar er stond niets anders op het verlanglijstje van mijn zoon dit jaar : een megalodon monster truck.
Hij bleek groot, zeg maar gerust enorm! en wow, wat is hij snel! hij maakt wel best veel geluid, binnen in huis schrik ik er elke keer van als dat ding er vandoor sprint.
Vandaag moesten de zwem kwaliteiten getest worden. Erg moedig vond ik, maar dit is natuurlijk wel tof!
Hij moet wel best snel weer aan de oplader (usb).

Veicolo radiocomandato dall’estetica accattivante. Ai bambini piace parecchio. Particolare che avrei decisamente evitato: le ruote sono leggere perch fatte di polistirolo. Credo che un uso su superfici come asfalto o ghiaia le rovinerebbe in brevissimo tempo!

Es de gran tamao, se desplaza tambin por el agua, lo hemos metido en la piscina, y por cualquier terreno. Es bastante rpido y reactivo, no lo veo apto para espacios cerrados/ pequeos.
Como contra el material , sobre todo lo que sera la jaula ( donde se sujeta todo el chasis) es medio frgil. Ya le he tenido que arreglar con la pistola de silicona.

A great toy, very fast and loads of fun. Only downside is that it says for Indoor and Outdoor use! This is an outdoor only toy, it’s that fast it nearly took the carpets and skirting boards clean off!!

Mein Sohn hat den Monstertruck zum 4. Geburtstag bekommen. Erst hatten wir ein schwirigkeiten die Fernbedienung un den Truck zu verbinden. Ging dann aber doch. Er liebt ihn sehr und hat viel Spa damit. Die Batterien in der Fernbedinug sind jedoch relativ schnell zu wechseln.

Megalodon für mega fu
Wir haben den Megalodon unserer Tochter zum 5 Geburtstag geschenkt. Sie hat sich richtig darber gefreut. Es macht sehr viel spass mit dem Auto zu fahren. Die Bedienung hat meine Tochter sehr schnell drauf gehabt, es ist auch wirklich gut gemacht fr Kinder da das Auto sich um 360 drehen lsst und so mhsames auspacken mit hin und her lenken berflssig ist.
Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt, wenn man die ganze zeit vollspeed fhrt ist der Akku sehr schnell aufgebraucht.
Aber alles in allem ein RC Car das richtig spass macht, auch den Elte

Cool aber Akku schwach.
Also fr die Kids super. Nur der Akku macht wirklich schnell schlapp. Keine gefhlte viertelstunde war’s dann auch schon. Hab daher jetzt ne Powerbank mit dabei. Das Teil ist wirklich robust und hlt richtig viel aus. Direkt nach dem laden blinkt die Lade LED Rot. Ich glaube das muss nen Fehler sein, denn fahren tut der Monstertruck trotzdem. Wir waren mit dem Teil im Urlaub, also an alle Eltern!…heult euch ne gute Powerbank mit 5V Ladepower, halbe Stunde laden lassen und dann ist wieder Action. Bis auf das Akku ist das Auto wirklich Top.

Hunted high and low round the country for one of these for my grandson birthday back in June and it was out of stock everywhere. When it came back in stock spotted Amazon was slightly cheaper than other retailers. What can I say other my 5 year old grandson absolutely loves it. Requires help putting the USB charger back in its compartment to keep it watertight as a bit fiddly/tricky. Make sure you turn the controller off when handling the car the wheels move very very fast !!

Awesome gift for my 6-year old son, he loves it. Easy to use and lightning quick – durable with how much bashing it takes! It does need charging after use but the easy USB cable attached and protected underneath is great. 100% well worth purchasing – loads of fun on land / water!

Diese Truck war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk fr meinen 5 jhrigen Sohn. Er macht wirklich Spa und ist ein echter Hingucker.
Was mich strt ist die unprzise Steuerung. Er fhrt sehr schnell und ist dadurch schwer unter Kontrolle zu bekommen. Auch ist er relativ schnell leer und dann gibt es immer lange Gesichter. Meinem Sohn macht es trotzdem Spa und alle anderen Kinder wollen den dann auch immer haben. Vom Material her, ist er sehr leicht und ich bin mir etwas unsicher wie lange die Rder( Kunststoff/Styropor?? ) und der Rest hlt.
If you’re looking for a first remote control truck for kids, you can’t do better than this. It’s quick, but not so fast as one of the hobby-shop grade R/C’s that are hard to control. It is 4WD so can crawl through mud, snow, ice or gravel. We have built ramps for it, it crawls over rocks, it is so much fun. It has a modular ‘throttle’, so if you just touch lightly it will crawl over obstacles. Some of the cheaper R/C trucks just have ‘go’ or ‘stop’, they don’t allow you this control.
The controller has two thumb joysticks – one controls the left two wheels, the other controls the right two wheels. It turns more like a tank than a truck, because one set of wheels stops while the other turns. This means it can do fun spins in the sand, and makes a simple 4WD system.
The best part by far is that it has sealed waterproof components and floating tires, meaning it can go where most R/C’s can’t. It takes a beating and keeps on going – even in the bathtub if you wanted it to (??) My son is 7 and it’s the perfect starter R/C truck.

Fahrzeug ist jetzt seit ca. 5 Monaten im Einsatz, bislang ohne Schden oder Ausflle. Scheint also ausreichend robust gebaut zu sein. Und beansprucht wird es durch unseren Sohn definitiv, Strze, Schnee, Matsch, Schlamm, und selbst der Einsatz auf der Ostsee haben keine Spuren hinterlassen. Den Kaufpreis halten wir fr akzeptabel. Eine echte Spa Maschine!

Klasse Spielzeug. War erstaunt, wie gro und leicht zugleich der Monster-Truck ist. War jetzt schon mehrfach im Einsatz. Meine Kids haben bisher viel Spa damit gehabt. Die Dauer der Nutzung reicht in der Regel fr einen Tag aus, dafr geht es schnell mit dem Aufladen mit dem schon integrierten USB-Kabel des Monster-Trucks.

Brilliant fun. You can go over anything, including deep puddles and mud. It’s driven in our bath and torn through the Park. It’s a bit skittish but you soon master that. It’s really fast and easy to steer, brilliant fun.
The remote is a bit basic, child like maybe for older teens but younger kids it is perfect for.
I’m in my 40s and I sneak off with it.

Man sollte den Hai nicht aus groer Hhe springen oder fallen lassen. Das hlt das Kunststoffgerst nicht aus. Ansonsten ein Spass-Teil zum richtig rumbrettern. Irgendwo gegen fahren macht ihm nicht viel aus, die Spin-Funktion macht auf Matsch und Schnee richtig spa. Sehr viel besser als erwartet und die Kinderaugen leuchteten.

My son takes this to our local beach on family trips and it’s is hilarious watching all the dads and sons turn heads in envy!
Works great in water – obviously a lot slower than on land. Fab over obstacles too, like very pebbly beaches. Seems to handle all punishment too – we’ve put it through freezing cold conditions, in water more than on land, and just pushing it to limits all the time – doesn’t skip a beat.
Only criticism is the battery only seems to last thirty mins of use – gave it a three star for this. That said, I do still think it is really good value for money and isn’t a complaint – just slightly ‘mehhh’ when you want to keep using it, lol. In fairness – with power output this gives, thirty mins may be impressive?!?
So much fun – do not hesitate to buy this for son (to give the designated adult an excuse to have it for themselves!)
El coche es una autntica pasada, adems de la esttica que me gusta a los peques parece ms un juguete de adultos que de nios.
Es rapidsimo, mucho, se ve en el vdeo que os dejo como sube por una pequea duna a toda velocidad y sin problemas. Puedes hacer ochos derrapando, se vuelve rapidsimo, como ms se disfruta es SIN DUDA en arena y ai es en la playa an ms porque se puede mojar sin problema.
El mando tiene un alcance brutal, como mnimo 50-60 metros o incluso ms.
La batera no hay que sacarla para cargar y dura unos 15 minutos si le das mucha caa, a toda velocidad gasta ms lgicamente.
Es bastante duro y pesa poco, las ruedas son como de poliespan y si lo usas en asfalto se pueden daar, al ser tan rpido y girar muy deprisa degrada las ruedas en asfalto.
Lo recomiendo totalmente, ha sido un acierto absoluto.
fun toy but avoid wate
I bought this item for my son’s 9th birthday which was in December 2020. The product worked well initially but then stopped working. It suddenly worked again after a period of a couple of weeks and I decided it must be because it had got wet and then dried out completely. I would suggest that the product is not very waterproof and that its best to avoid water when playing with it.

Charge time is onyl approx 30 mins but actual usage time is 20 mins which is not long enough when having fun. Bought this for my son for Christmas who is 5.
We havnt really used it that much due to weather however the few times we have taken it out it has worked very well even on snow on quite steep hills.
The controls are easy to use even for a 5 year old with learning difficulties.
I am very impressed with the durability.
It is very fast so certainly an outdoors toy but great fun.
Only criticism is the charging cable tucks into a small compartment under the car and can be quite fiddly to put away once charged.

Buen juguete. Carga en una horabaprox y la pila dura entre 30 y 60 min. Muy rpido (la velocidad se controla moviendo el joystick), buena distancia lejos del control, aguanta golpes en todo terreno, Ideal para todas las edades capaces de manejar el control remoto. No Ideal para nios muy pequeos por ser juguete rpido y de control “fino” (mi hijo tiene 5 aos y es excelente juguete para el, pero tambin quiero comprar uno para mi)

Tolles Teil, mein 4jhriger Sohn hat riesen Spass damit. Fhrt auf Sand, Schnee, Wasser, Wiese, etc., hlt ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten bei voller Ladung, geht rasant ab und hlt den einen oder anderen Crash ohne Probleme aus. Gehuse ist zwar auch schon abgefolgen, konnte aber ohne Probleme wieder aufgeklipst werden.
Da das Fahrzeug keine Lenkachse hat, Drehung erfolgt durch gegenlufige Radbewegung, ist eine saubere Kurvenfahrt nicht mglich. Fr uns aber nicht stren.
Was ich leider nicht so gut finde, ist das Aufladen. An der Unterseite gibt es eine Klappe mit kleinem Holhlraum, in dem sich das USB-Kabel mit Stecker befindet. Es ist nach dem Aufladen immer eine ziemlich knifflige Angelegenheit das Kabel wieder zu verstauen und den Deckel zu schliessen. Besser wre eine einfache USB-Buchse ohne Kabelsalat.
Ansonsten kann ich den Magalodon Storm ohne weiters empfehlen.

Weihnachtsgeschenk fr meinen 3. Jhrigen. Aber Papa hatte schon vorher megaspa damit.
Auch wenn es natrlich alles aus Plastik ist, wirkt es sehr stabil und macht die wildesten Fahrten mit.
Negativ:
Das USB Kabel ist nervig einzulegen.
Bei mir ldt es nur,wenn er auf an steht, obwohl die Beschriftung was anderes zeigt.
Empfehlenswert !
Fr Kinder ein riesiger Spa. Das Fahrzeug ist einzig und allein fr den Outdoorbereich konzipiert. Es beschleunigt extrem und nimmt jegliches Gelnde. Es besitzt keine Lenkung, was dann ber gegensinning unterschiedlich schnell drehende Rder realisiert wird. Dafr kann es auf der Stelle wenden. Es schwimmt und kommt im Wasser gut voran durch die fr den notwendigen Auftrieb montierten Hartstyroporrder. Das Laden erfordert beim Verschliessen der Ladeklappe ein gewisses Ma an Fingerspitzengefhl nicht zuletzt um die Dichtigkeit korrekt herzustellen. Um die Getriebe sollte man sich jedoch Gedanken machen, da bei Inversbeschleunigung sehr hohe Krfte auf die kleinen Zahnrder wirken, welche gar evtl. nur aus Kunststoff bestehen. Bisher konnte in solchen Fllen zwar ein Schnarren festgestellt werden, aber zum Glck noch kein Getriebeschaden (bis jetzt). Der Akku hlt ca. 25 min und ein Warngerusch ertnt wenn dieser geladen werden mu. Das ist praktisch, wenn das Fahrzeug sich gerade auf “hoher See” befindet und ein baldiges Aufsuchen des Ufers von Vorteil wre. Verbaut ist ein Lithium-Metall-Hybrid Akku der nach ca. 1h geladen ist, so das der Spa weitergehen kann.
FAZIT: Ein toller Spa fr Kinder zu einem gnstigen Preis
I Thought this was quite expensive for what it is, and felt dubious buying it BUT when we got it out the box christmas day and my 7yr old son (who is MAD about sharks) started driving it around and we saw what it could do – WOW!!! I Thought this was quite expensive for what it is, and felt dubious buying it BUT when we got it out the box christmas day and my 7yr old son (who is MAD about sharks) started driving it around and we saw what it could do – WOW!!! Day two and we took it out on the water. Great fun. Ended up upside down for quite a bit while we waded in to retrieve it and it was still fine. Son drove it upside down in water for a while too. Has had plenty of bashing and has been fine. Has been driven over rough ground and poor roads and mostly stays upright. Battery life could be longer (maybe 20-30 minutes at the mo) but it really is good fun. We took it indoors to a large sports hall too. Son is only just 6 and is getting good at the controls.
Spass vs. Akkuleistung
Unser Sohn (5) hat es zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekommen und ist begeistert. Es hlt was es verspricht, fhrt ber Stock und Stein, durch Sand und Pftzen, ber Rasen und Asphalt.
ABER der Spa ist nur von kurzer Dauer, ca 20 Minuten bevor ein piepton ertnt und signalisiert dass der Akku vom Fahrzeug leer ist. Das ist sehr schade und sollte unbedingt behoben werden.
Geht ab wie immer eine Rakete
Super Teil. Mein Sohn (4) liebt das Teil. Er ist leicht und geht ab, wie eine Rakete. Ist aber eher was fr drauen. Ob er auch wirklich wassertauglich ist, wei ich noch nicht. Das ladekabel ist fest verbaut und nur durch eine Plastikkappe geschtzt. Wasserdicht sieht das nicht aus, aber Spritzwasser hlt die auf jeden Fall ab.
Spaß hoch zeh
Absolut cooles Teil! Mein Sohn hat sich den Truck vom Christkind gewnscht und weil er anscheinend so brav war auch bekommen 😉 Er hat einen extrem hohen Spafaktor, da es sehr schnell ist und halt einfach auch mal in einen See gefahren werden kann, da das Auto wasserdicht ist. Eine direkte Lenkung hat das Auto nicht, die Steuerung erfolgt ber den Antrieb der Rder rechts oder links, dadurch wirkt es sehr agil und aggressiv.
Insgesamt macht er einen sehr robusten Eindruck, ich hoffe das besttigt sich durch lange Haltbarkeit, falls nicht werde ich ein Update schreiben. Mein Sohn ist glcklich damit, daher kann ich das Spielzeug empfehlen. (Auch ich habe einen riesen Spa, wenn ich mal fahren darf)
Wir haben ihn zu Weihnachten unserem Sohn geschenkt und dieser ist begeistert davon. Der Megalodon ist fr den Auenbereich gedacht. Im Innenbereich kann er sich mit den Styropor-Rdern, die eine kleine Gummiumreifung in der Mitte haben, nicht halten. Dafr hat er auch zuviel Power, die er in Wiese, Garten, usw. gut nutzen kann. Bei uns hlt der Akku jetzt ca. 30 Minuten. Die Fernbedienung reagiert sofort, ist fr unseren 5,5 Jhrigen fast zu direkt, aber das ist eine bungssache.
Ein groer Pluspunkt, der Akku muss lediglich ber ein USB Kabel geladen werden und dann geht’s auch schon los.
Er ist leicht und ich finde dennoch relativ robust. Bei uns hat er bereits ein paar berschlge in der Wiese gemacht, hat dem gut Stand gehalten.
ber Wasser haben wir noch nicht ausprobieren knnen, daher kann ich dazu noch nichts schreiben.
Fazit: Spa und Action kommen hier nicht zu kurz, Power und Laufleistung berzeugen auch – klare Kaufempfehlung!

Amazing , very fast and light, we have trialled it through hilly sand dunes at the beach through a heavy leafy wet park and up skate ramps it is still going strong! I would highly recommend!
Only annoying feature is the charging cable compartment is tricky and fiddly to shut back up.

My 4yr old got this for his birthday. It is fast, drives on water and is waterproof. The transmitter range is good and beeps to warn you if you are going too far. It also warns you as it approaches the battery needing recharged. The main negative is one I read in many reviews, the charging cable. It is so fiddly and inconvenient to stow away to seal the battery compartment. A child simply could not do this and it takes me, an adult, several minutes of annoyance to achieve it.

Fun RC vehicle. It truly runs on water and is a lot of fun to drive. It is fairly durable, but I will admit the shark body scratches and scuffs easily.
One complaint is the charging setup. It’s nice to have a cable always attached, but trying to stuff the cable back in the compartment can be tedious.
Der ferngesteuerte Megalodon Storm Monster Truck in Hai-Optik ist sehr robust und macht wahnsinnig Spass ! Aber am besten nur im freien da der Monster Hai sehr schnell ist und recht laut beim lenken . Aber im freien hat man den vollen Spass und kann mit Vollgas rumheizen und ihn auf der stelle drehen und Donuts machen lassen und ber Rampen fliegen lassen . Egal ob im Sand , Wiese oder der Strae oder im Planschbecken (oder im See?). Macht echt FUN !!! Da er wasserdicht und wirklich robust ist hat er von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung . Und da der Megalodon Storm Monster Truck einen Akku hat den man wieder aufladen kann braucht man nicht immer wieder Batterien kaufen (auer Fernbedienung) . Unserem Enkel macht der Monster Truck Hai auf jeden Fall wirklich Spass . Und ehrlich gesagt mir auch .
We’ve tried multiple radio controls and this comes up trumps every time. Land, water, forests, roads, rocks this can handle it all.
Plus for a 4 and a 6 year old who put toys through their paces, it holds up. So far unbreakable, waterproof and lightweight. Also it’s pretty easy to use and does fab tricks including doughnuts, bicycles and more (Monster Truck fans will know all the moves).
Even the battery life isn’t bad, at least 15-30 mins play and easy USB charger.
I highly recommend this for any child, any age!
Unser Sohn hat bereits zwei ferngesteuerte Autos, aber keines das auch auf dem Wasser fahren kann. Entsprechend gro war die Vorfreude auf den Monster Jam Megalodon Storm — zumal er die Marke bereits von seinen Metallautos her kannte.
Bei der Lieferung waren wir ber die Gre des Fahrzeuges berrascht. Der Megalodon Storm hat eine Lnge von ca. 36 cm, eine Breite von 24 cm und eine Hhe 23,5 cm. Die Verarbeitung des Autos ist grundsolide, auch wenn es so gut wie vollstndig aus Kunststoff besteht. Die Verkleidung in Haifisch-Form ist robust und bersteht auch berschlge des Fahrzeuges unbeschadet.
Die Reifen sind aus Styropor gefertigt und dienen als Schwimmkrper, wenn das Auto auf dem Wasser fhrt. Ein gummierter Ring in der Mitte der Reifen sorgt fr den ntigen Grip auf festem Untergrund. Besonderheit ist, dass das Fahrzeug ber kein Lenkgestnge verfgt, sondern die Richtungsnderung ber den einseitigen Antrieb der Reifen realisiert, hnlich wie ein Kettenfahrzeug.
Der Akku des Fahrzeugs ist fest integriert. Geladen wird er ber ein USB Kabel, welches in einer Kammer im Unterboden verstaut ist. Das Kabel ist mit 45 cm etwas knapp bemessen, erfllt aber seinen Zweck.
Die Fernbedienung ist einfach gehalten und wirkt nicht ganz so solide wie das Fahrzeug selbst. Fr ihren Betrieb werden zwei AAA Batterien bentigt, die sich nicht im Lieferumfang befinden. Zwei Steuerhebel dienen der Richtungssteuerung. Zustzlich sind noch zwei Tasten fr die Trimmung des Geradeauslaufs zu finden. berrascht war ich ber die Reichweite, denn selbst in 30 Metern Entfernung lsst sich das Fahrzeug noch steuern. Die Fernbedienung warnt sogar, wenn man an die Grenze der Reichweite kommt.
Wir haben in den letzten Wochen das Fahrzeug in jeglichem Gelnde und sogar im nahegelegenen Fluss fahren lassen. Der Megalodon Storm hat tatschlich jedes Terrain mit Bravour gemeistert. Zu Beginn ist zwar die Steuerung etwas ungewohnt, da das Fahrzeug bei engen Kurven aufgrund der fehlenden Lenkung zum Rutschen und berschlagen neigt, hat man aber einmal den Dreh raus, lsst es sich sehr gut steuern. Die Geschwindigkeit an Land ist ordentlich, im Wasser hingegen muss man etwas Geduld mitbringen (siehe Video). Durch die groen Reifen sind Hindernisse kein Problem, zumal das Fahrzeug ber einen Allrad-Antrieb verfgt.
berschlge verzeiht das Fahrzeug genauso wie Anpraller an Objekte wie bspw. Wnde. Bisher sind weder Verkleidung noch Chassis beschdigt, trotz ruppiger Fahrweise. Das einzige, was es zu kritisieren gibt es das Fahrgerusch, welches der Megalodon produziert. An einem Sonntag kann das laute Motorengerusch schnell den Zorn der Nachbarn auf sich ziehen.
Die Fahrzeit liegt mit ca. 20 -25 Minuten durchaus im Rahmen und sorgt fr ausreichend Fahrspa. Anschlieend muss der Wagen fr gut 90 Minuten ans Ladegert, bevor er wieder vollstndig geladen fr weiteren Fahrspa sorgen kann. Gut gelst ist, dass die Fernbedienung eine zur Neigung gehenden Akkus signalisiert. Insbesondere bei Fahrten auf dem Wasser ist das ein wichtiges Feature um den Megalodon rechtzeitig an Land zu holen.

Viel zu kritisieren gibt es bis dato nicht. Der Megalodon macht durch seine gute Gelndegngigkeit, hohe Geschwindigkeit und die Fahrmglichkeit auf dem Wasser groen Spa und muss sich vor der Konkurrenz der gleichen Preisklasse keinesfalls verstecken. Das bisherige Auto unseres Sohnes war nicht viel gnstiger, kommt aber an den Megalodon Storm nicht heran. Daher knnen sowohl Vater als auch Sohn den Wagen von Monster Jam bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen, solange man sich nicht an dem lauten Betriebsgerusch strt.
