It’s really easy to use. Nothing fiddly or complicated.

First 3 meals have been as expected – slow cooking less expensive cuts of meet makes the meal very very tasty and succulent.

Easy to us, really good size.. Good results so far, but flavour is better if you brown off meat and veg 1st.

Excellent mid-range brand with value quality. Large slow cooker, quite a footprint but expected for the volume, perfectly suitable for a family.

Easy to set up, clear instructions, consistent cooking, easy to clean, good value. Nothing wrong that I can say or pick out.

Being able to set the length of cooking time and the temperature being adjusted accordingly so it’s complete when arriving home. Also it keeps the meal hot for another 2 hours, should you be delayed. It is also very easy to clean, which great at the end of the day.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMade creme brulee for the first time in this cooker. Excellent as it held 6 ramekins. Also rice pudding was lovely and soft and tasty. Looking forward to using on more meals to freeze when cooking larger amounts. Note: there is only 2 people in the house so I double up recipes which this cooker is ideal for. It’s also very easy to clean.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo easy to use,
I put my chilli beef on when I went to work, came home to it perfectly cooked and keeping warm,
The count down timer is genius, takes the stress out of getting it right,
Would give it 10 stars if it went that high

The last slow cooker I bought was in such a hurry everything would boiled dry or get overcooked, thankfully this Morphy Richards Easy Time Slow Cooker lives up to its name and takes its time. I chose the 6.5 litre model and it’s pretty large, so be sure you need the capacity, although that said I have cooked smaller portions in it without a problem. The overall construction is good but the base unit’s outer shell is made from really thin metal, it even indents when you pick the whole thing up. The inner pot is much heftier and well-finished with a good non-stick surface and rolled edges around the rim, you can even use it directly on a hob to brown your meat before dropping it back into the base unit.

The controls are simple with just a timer dial to set how long you want it to cook and a choice of three heat setting buttons. The included recipe booklet gives three different timings for each recipe so you can quickly get an idea of how long your dish will need at each of the three settings. Even at full heat it only cooks at a very gentle simmer and it takes quite a while to even reach that. Note there’s no delay timer to turn the cooker on at a predetermined time and the inbuilt timer isn’t mechanical and so won’t start when the power is switched on.

The results are excellent and well worth the wait, meat is as tender as possible and other ingredients all get cooked through without breaking apart because nothing’s being stirred. The inner pot is so big, at least on the 6.5 litre version, and takes up so much room in the dishwasher that you’ll probably end up handwashing it, luckily that’s easy because of the non-stick finish. All together it’s an easy way to cook as there’s usually not much prep to do and everything cooks in one pot and the results can be great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGetting this was out of necessity as my old ones bottom suddenly fell out one weekend exposing its live innards!

I’ve had this over a month now and so far it’s been great, the timer is really good and has a visual display of green dots showing you how long you have left. Oh and the main selling point for this is the actual pot is Hob safe, so you can sear your meat in it on the hob so no getting out the frying pan giving yourself extra washing up, always a huge bonus. The build quality compared to my old thing is a huge improvement, the base being made of metal with a huge thick bolt holding it all together, hopefully that’s not going to drop out this time. All in all highly recommended dear Amazon customer, go get yourself one.

A great piece of kit by a reputable brand. Came well packaged with instructions. Works really well and cooks food really nicely. Several settles so you can set appropriately depending on what you’re cooking. Easy to clean as well.

We were very happy with the product. All my guest loved the slow cooked lamb. It was amazing. The timer is fantastic feature – this product was unavailable a few months back. So I decided to wait for it, and it was worth while- very happy with the product.

Morphy Richards are a well known and well established brand and for a reason, their products work.

This is a nice simple to use slow cooker, pop your ingredients in, set the timer with a twist of the knob and the cooker will do the rest automatically adjusting the heat setting to make sure your meal is cooked and ready when you need it, but it also has a keep warm function (for up to 2 hours) so that once cooked it stays ready for you.

You can override the heat setting if you wish.

The pot is coated and easy to clean and can even be used on the hob if you need to.

Solidly built yet lightweight. Not flimsy in any way and very easy to move around.. Certainly a long-lasting piece of cookware that should last at least several years if well taken care of.

The food doesn’t stick to the pan, regardless of what I cook, which makes cleaning an absolute breeze.

The lid fits securely (and I like that it’s clear so I can see my food without having to remove it).

The meals I’ve gotten out of this are incredible – the cooker will pay for itself in a month. Meat comes out so soft and tender, full of flavour. I made shredded chicken tacos, ratatouille, pot roast, and even tortellini soup came out perfectly on the first try! It’s a very fool-proof device once you just figure out how to operate it.

The hands-off cooking is a huge advantage for when I’m working in the office and come home late. I can just toss my ingredients in and leave them to cook. No need to cook rice and meat separately. Just put them together and voila!

The different settings are easy to function and clear. The countdown is a nifty feature too so I don’t have to think back to when I started the cooker to know how much longer it has left. Best thing about it is its size as I like to bulk cook my meals for my working week and this is brilliant for such amounts.

One of the most versatile and easy to use devices you can have in your kitchen – highly recommended!

I really like simplicity of this slow cooker. It does not have any fancy controls which might confuse. All you need to do is set time how long you want to cook it and that’s it. Other pros which I like about this cooker are that you can remove the pot and use it on the hob to sear any ingredients, this reduces the amount of washing up, intensifies flavours and speeds up the prep process. Also the pot is non stick so easier to clean and also it is fairly huge, so you can make meals for big family.I like the glass lid because I can check on progress without removing all the heat. Overall, this great slow cooker I like everything about it from size to controls. It heats up pretty quick and when the meal is cooked it will make beeping sound and keeps meal warm till I’m ready to eat. Love it! Would recommend.

    Brilliant !!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe best cooking appliance I have ever bought. It is just so easy to use and very easy to clean. If you don’t have time or you don’t want to stand in the kitchen on weekends (like me) but still want to provide a delicious meal… This slow cooker is great! Not only for dinner but also desserts. There are a lot slow cooker books out there and this one here comes with a little booklet/instruction manual. Simply simple and energy efficient.

Other than that: vast majority of meals are prepared in minutes, just toss everything in and turn the slow cooker on, come home after work knowing that dinner is ready. Very convenient. I would say this slow cooker is something for beginners since it’s operated by a knob, much better than a display with a lot of buttons where you can make mistakes. Get this slow cooker and be happy.

I will also say that it does a great job at keeping your food warm for at least 1-2 hours, even with the appliance turned off after cooking. This is great for when your meal strategically finishes cooking before you come back from work but its hot and ready to eat. It is also very easy to clean. The surface is non stick so you wont need to worry about scraping the appliance to remove any food bits. Very handy and practical, a big time saver! Highly recommended, 5 stars! 🙂

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

I love my new Morphy Richards slow cooker! It’s made cooking meals for my entire family easy and fuss free. It has an amazing sized 6.5l removable pot. Being removable makes it easy to clean. The 6.5l size makes it perfect for a family or even for a couple who like to have left overs for the day after or to freeze. It’s excellent quality with great features such as the keep warm function. It’s a great slow cooker that i’m really happy with.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy wife and I are keen cooks, and having recently purchased a chest freezer off Amazon, we were keen to fill it with food, so when this Morphy Richards slow cooker became available, I jumped at the chance to see what this would be like. This is the second slow cooker I have owned, the first one by another brand was very basic but functional. This Morphy Richards slow cooker whilst still basic has some additional features that I like.

For a start, I love that the pan is hob proof, which my other slow cooker didn’t have. This means that I can brown off the meat first (such as with a game casserole that I have made using this Morphy Richard cooker) before adding the other ingredients, adding it to the cooker, and then slow cooking as normal. Additionally, I like the light indicator that lets me know how much time there is left of the cooking. Finally, the keep warm function is something else that I haven’t previously had the pleasure of, which is perfect for when family members are running late.

To date, I have used this Morphy Richard slow cooker for a game casserole, Chilli con Carne, and leftover Christmas turkey curry. All cooked perfectly. This slow cooker is also a breeze to clean. The pan just pops in the dishwasher and comes out perfect.

Whilst at the time of review this slow cooker is 62.99 for the 6.5-litre size, which is a little bit more expensive than its competitors, I do think it is worth the extra 5 or so, and therefore I can highly recommend it to you.

This is a nice family sized, cooker so easy to use and pretty much foolproof for the hard working cook. It’s quite simple looking but more importantly very simple to use, ideal for older personages or someone who looks after one. The inner pot can apparently be used for searing meat pre cooking however I’m quite happy to do that in a normal pan in case of damage. We have coked a couple of spag bols, a casserole and a curry in this so far with great results. I’m a keen walker, out in all weathers, and I’m sure the thought of a nice hot dinner waiting for me puts an extra spring in my step during these winter months.

This is an excellent slow cooker. We used a much more expensive one a few years back and never really got on with it (dishes always came out watery and greasy, perhaps the temperature was too low).

This Morphy Richards slow cooker is very easy to use – you only need to set the timer and the device chooses its own temperature, though you can override this with a high, medium or low setting. There’s only one knob (timer) and three buttons (temperature selection), and that’s it. Easy.

As much as we like traditional stews and so on we decided to start with Mexican pulled pork and here’s how it went. The information says you can sear your meat in the removable interior cooking pot. No doubt you can but we decided to do this in a frying pan in order to keep the pristine pot in tip top condition. It’s rather thin to help heat transfer from the cooker unit and it didn’t feel right to stick it on the flame. Not sure how the non-stick interior would react to repeated high temperatures too.

Next the pork was slow cooked with orange juice, achiote spice mix and crushed garlic. We set the timer for 8 hours and left the temperature on the default medium (LEDs indicate which temperature it’s on.) The pork was turned over once late on in cooking but I think it’d still be as good without this.

The oval lid does a good job in keeping the moisture in, and giving you a look at the food inside.

It tuned out we wanted to eat at about 7 hours into cooking and so we broke up the meat with a wooden spatula right at the end. The final amount rich liquid was absorbed into the meat, then we served with flatbread, chipotle sauce and a few other extras like orange + vinegar picked onion.

My word it was amazing. Flaky, yet tender, and absorbed all the liquid for great flavour.

    Summary points:
o Very easy to use, just set the timer and come back when you want the food.
o Confident to leave it unattended, even all day (we went out during cooking – wouldn’t do that cooking in the oven).
o Can place it out of the way from cooker and work surfaces if doing other food preparation (often we cook different things for different people).
o Large capacity, but you can do small volumes too (e.g. our pulled pork). Good oval shape accomodates joints better than round shape.
o Many recipes will transfer to the slow cooker with no or little adjustment (stews, joints, currys, etc etc), and it’ll be easy to adapt (e.g. the guide suggests placing root veg at the bottom of the pot). First dish was amazing.
o Easy to clean – sponge wipe with a soapy water and it looked like new.

The only small pet peeve is something that applies to almost all appliances it seems. It would be nice to have retainers to wrap the electric chord around, and even a false socket to secure the plug. we may end up storing it the original box partly because of this. We have limited work surface and need to store it away somewhere when not in use.

    Very good indeed

A slow cooker that’s user-friendly and easy to clean is a must have for in our kitchen, so I was pleased to receive this one branded by Morphy Richards.

I got this slow cooker because I wanted to cook for my family on my birthday. I saw this great recipe online and needed something like this. Nice to see that it worked well and my family loved the food that I served them. It’s user-friendly so I didn’t have any complications using it and was impressed with how easy it was to clean.

This slow cooker is made of aluminum and has a capacity of 6.5 liters. It has a timer which you can set for how long you’re going to heat it, unlike other slow cookers. There are LED lights that indicate how many hours are left. It has an Auto Keep Warm feature that lasts for 2 hours so that it won’t get cold before you serve it. There’s also an Over-ride / Manual heat selection, Low/Medium/High, so you can alter the heat setting based on what you need. This might be my favorite feature, the pot is removable so you can use it to cook other foods and it’s also dishwasher safe and very easy to clean.

I really like how unlike other slow-cookers, this has a timer that you can set up to 12 hours. You can also set what kind of heat you need, low/medium/high, whatever the recipe needs you can set it to that easily. The pot is also removable so it’s very easy to clean, no hassle. It looks really good and premium and works well. My wife is now obsessed with cooking meals using this.

Overall, I am happy with this product. If you love cooking, I’m sure you’ll love this slow cooker. I think it’s worth the price and I am happy to recommend it.

Morphy Richards 461021 6.5L Easy Time Slow Cooker

It is pretty similar to a rice cooker, but the inner removable pot is easier to lift out, and that’s my favorite part of this equipment. The added convenience of being able to saute in the same pot before slow-cooking is lovely to me since I believe in searing and sauteing to get that umami flavor. It has a timer and an automatic temperature adjuster. It’s just mind-blowing how easy cooking can now be – even the laziest housekeeper will enjoy using this slow cooker! The size is just perfect for a dinner party!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis arrived in a top opening branded box with images of the cooker along with details on its uses. Once opened the instruction manual is on the top, and the cooker is protected and held with bespoke polystyrene and card with the glass lid sitting upside down in the top also well protected.

After opening everything up I had a read through the manual which I found to be very clear taking you step by step through the uses and care, along with having some suggested recopies in the back. I gave the removable cooking pot and lid a good clean to remove any manufacturing taint as per the instructions in the manual and was ready to try it out.

I tried this out with a beef stew following one of the recopies in the back of the manual but slightly adjusting it to my own taste. I seared the meat and some onions in a pan on the cooker and put these into the removable cooking pot and cut some vegetables to go in with it. I found it really easy with the removable cooking pot to load everything in while preparing, and as the pot is fairly light it does not make it too heavy to lift into the base unit when everything was ready. I added the stock after placing it into the base unit to avoid spillage and it was ready to go.

I set the cooker to eight hours on the dial and left it to go. The temperature is automatically set although this can be manually overridden if required. There is very little noise from the cooker and once it has finished it automatically switches to warm. I was very pleased with the end results and have since cooked a curry and chilli con carne which turned out great with very little effort apart from preparation.

Overall as a family of four I found this ideal with a 6.5L capacity and really like the set it and forget it until its finished aspect. I like that it is really simple to set and not having a multitude of complex settings and buttons. The removable cooking pot makes it great for placing on the table for serving and I found it simple and quick to clean. In my opinion this is ideal for a medium to large family, it’s simple to use and gives great results, I can’t fault it so have given top marks.

Simple to use and gives great results

    This slow cooker is brilliant.
One of the best parts is that the removable pot is light in weight and can be used on the hob to sear the meat, and also great for reducing liquid at the end. It can also be used in the dishwasher as well to make cleaning extra easy.
I love the time dial it’s all so simple, you select the best then the time. If you choose to adjust the time after selecting it will auto select how long it should take.
Another amazing feature is that once your food has cooked, it will keep it warm for two hours. So you don’t need to worry if your late home.
Really pleased with this slow cooker and will be well loved in our household

Morphy Richards Easy time slow cooker is absolutely brilliant, this is large enough slow cooker that you can feed your whole family, or you can batch cook a whole load of food to freezer for later. I really like the control, it gives me more control than my normal slow cooker so that’s a massive bonus. I also like that the whole thing is almost heatproofed or something as it doesn’t get hot during use, I really like that. My old one burns your fingers when you aren’t careful. A must buy from me.

The shape and design are very nice.
It is advantageous to separate the pot part and use it on the hob.
It can be used in all kinds of cooking as well as
It adds flavor to its taste with its slow cooking option, especially when cooking meats.
I think the biggest advantage of this product is that it keeps the food at a constant temperature until 2 hours after cooking.
With 6.5 liters, it is ideal for large families and easy to clean.
I recommend it especially for big families.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis Morphy Richards slow cooker is a delight to use. I have the 6.5l and it looks quite a size on the worktop. It comes with an instruction booklet which includes some recipes; using the machine is simplicity itself but the instructions spell out very clearly the squence of use.

The slow cooker is very well made. The inner metal container has all the edges rolled so it’s easy and safe to take out of the main part of the machine. This inner can be used on the stovetop to prepare the food before being set into the device itself.

The outer of the machine has handles set well below the inner container so you can lift the whole thing without burning yourself when the cooker is in use. The lid fits closely but does not clip on.

The controls on the front of the machine are self-explanatory. You set the time for which you want the contents to cook and the machine selects the appropriate heat level. Once the time expires there is a keep-warm feature. On setting the time, the hours light up, and as the time passes, so the lights extinguish. A glance from the kitchen door tells you how long dinner will be.

The machine heats up very quickly and I have found it far more satisfactory than my previous slow cookers. The 6.5l model does hold a lot of food, ideal if you have a big family, are entertaining friends or like to batch cook. I made beef casserole last night and was very pleased with the results. The meat was tender, not one bit dried out and at the same time, not thin or meagre in the gravy.

The cooker is easy to clean. I am so happy with this slow cooker and fully recommend it.
