his is our secong bread maker as the last one gave up after a number of years ,this MR bread maker is so much better than the old one its very simple to use and produces a great loaf.
easy to clean with a coated pan that is a good shape the paddle is a better design than our old one.
Very easy to set up and we had perfect bread on even our first attempt useing the recipe book included.
previous experiance tought us to follow the recipe to the letter , if you do you cant go wrong !
the size of loaf is not shop sized its about 3/4 the size , but you can always make more
only issue we have found so far is the 1 hour bake program gives mixed results with most of the loafs not rising .

Easy to use. I have been experimenting with various types of flour. Just add ingredients as per the instructions, set it leave it. Lovely flavour and no preservatives.

Pleasantly surprised
As a 31 year old male, I bought this as I have some stomach issues with foods with lots of additives etc, so I wanted to try this as it would be fresher with less ingredients.
For the price, it has definitely been worth the investment, the ingredients involved are simple and easy to add via the instructions, it really is a case of press and go.
The machine itself isn’t small, but also not too large to fit on the kitchen worktop.
The 3 hour bakes are definitely better in terms of end results, the fastbakes I think are hit and miss a lot of the time, but still a feasible option if you’re stuck for time.
I’d recommend this based on my current experience with it, I’ve found the bread produced to “agree” with my stomach, so for anyone in a similar boat, it’s worth consideration.

I wasn’t convinced the bread maker would work but I was completely surprised how easy it was to use. Follow the instructions exactly, turn it on then 3 hours later a perfect loaf appeared.
No yeast flavour in the bread that I usually get when I make bread by hand and no holes in the body of the bread.
A Loaf to be Proud of
I am so impressed with this bread maker which arrived today. I followed the white bread recipe, putting everything in to the machine and turning it on and Voila! 3 hours later the most delicious loaf of bread. Now, I am experienced because, I had a top name
Bread maker machine before this one, but the bread was nowhere as good as the bread made in the Morphy Richards machine. I recommend it and didn’t want mention the name of the old machine. but for me this machine beats hands down. So pleased bought this one.
I found an error, 2 cups is not 312g do not use the cup part of recipe. Use 312g of flour and it’s perfect. Ignore cups in recipes. I did report it. Great machine though.

Home baking is fun.
We have made a couple of small loaves and the first attempt went very well. Second attempt wasn’t as good, but maybe that’s down to the time taken? We are still experimenting with it and look forward to trying other varieties suggested, as well as our own rolls. It’s quick and easy to follow and we look forward to more home made items!!
Bread make
The bread maker is very easy to use the bread comes out looking really good. My only complaint is that the paddle gets stuck in the bread, although it is easy to remove.
Bought to replace the one we gave away
We had the same model for our Chambres d’Hotes in France. Gave it away when we went travelling but decided we want beautiful homemade bread now that we’ve settled down. Just wish we could buy the French granary flour we used to buy in E LECLERC!

This is amazing for any type of bread. Not had much luck with cake. Keep trying. Recommend this bread majer.
Easy to use, makes a nice loaf!
Arrived quickly and was well packaged. As easy to use as any bread machine can be, can’t complain at all really. Only slight niggle is the audible beeping can’t be turned off, so if using the timer function. You will be woken by the beeping coming from the kitchen, if set to come on over night.

I loved the finally baked loaves but found it difficult to understand the instructions at first. Not very clear for first time users.

This is the third MR breadmaker I have had over a number of years and this is the best. It is much easier to use than previous ones with a better shaped pan having a good coating on it so bread doesn’t stick and the paddle is better design so the bread easily comes out. Been very pleased with the results.

Bread maker is very easy to use. It remembers settings which makes it even quicker to get going. Obviously takes a while to make and cook the bread, but if you’re not in a hurry, or want fresh bread first thing in morning, then its great!
Can add seeds etc during cooking, which is a bonus too.
Machine is a bit big, but is a nice square ish shape so fits in a corner or a cupboard well.
I love mine and use it at least twice a week.

Easy and tasty
Obviously bread makers have a reputation of being a fad. Well only time will tell. But I’ve had mine for over a month now and make a fresh loaf every other day. So easy to use. Only takes ten minutes to get it started and then sit back and relax. A couple of hours later I’m tucking into a warm loaf of french bread! Simply gorgeous!!
Quick easy and tasty. I’m crap in the the kitchen. I use all in one mix from the supermarket. It’s only 80p. The only other measurement needed is for the water. Tip both into the machine and go. In 3 hours fresh tasty bread. The house smells great too.
Very easy to clean. You can choose the size of the loaf and crust options. No sticky residue left in tin.
Keep in mind that when it makes the dough the machine can move if on a slippery surface. Allow clearance for the lid to open.
As the bread is made from fresh ingredients it won’t last more that 2 days max as there’s no preservatives.
I normally eat brown bread but I tend to make white bread as the bread is not as white as shop bought bread is. Apparently bleach is used to whiten the loaf.
All measuring equipment is included.
You can use the timer so you wake up or come home to a freshly made load, the aroma adds to the delight.
Invest in a sharp bread knife as the bread is so soft when you cut it. A wire cooling rack is recommended to allow the bread to cool before cutting rarely does this happen as the family usually tuck in before it’s cold.
You can make lots of different bread. It stops and beeps to remind you to add any extra ingredients like olives, tomatoes, nuts fruit and so much more.
I highly recommend this. The main thing that surprises me is how easy it is to use and clean.
No complicated buttons. For the crust setting you press the crust button. Each time you press, it scrolls to Light, Medium then Dark and repeats the sequence while an LCD display shows your choice. The same goes for load size and other options.

It is easy to bake bread using the Morphy Richards breadmaker.
Fab little bread maker.
Makes delicious bread. Convenient and easy to use. The 1.5lb size come out the best: 1lb is a bit too solid and 2lb too tall to cut easily.
The pizza dough recipe is brilliant. Dough setting in general is great, I’ve been making lush cinnamon buns. French bread setting/recipe is also brilliant.
Only downside – the beep when you turn it on is obnoxiously loud.

Just add the ingredients in the described order, choose type of crust and press go – couldn’t be easier. The only thing some people may have an issue with is that you have to retrieve the “paddle” from the bottom of the loaf after cooking and that leaves a small hole but I think it’s a similar process with all bread makers.
You could easily pay double the price of this for a bread-maker that is no better than this one.

Have always made my own bread but due to arthritis I am unable to need the dough. Was all ways sceptical of bread makers due to some bread I tried from a friends bread maker, it was heavy and tastless. Shopped around and read all the reviews. This one the Morphy Richards Fast Bake arrived in good time, being a prime member would expect nothing less.The box it arrived in was gigantic, ‘the machine is a big one’ ( just right for the ladys) Very simple to use, will make three sizes small-medium-large. The manual is clear and concise,results are excelent. Wish I had brought one a long time ago instead of strugling.I used to get up early to make the bread. Still get up early but thanks to the setting I can load the ingredients the night before get up have a cup of tea and watch the day break. Only criticism would be the small hole the mixing paddle makes in the base of the loaf , top of loaf not as smooth as when you hand roll the dough, but I can live with that, there are much bigger problems with pandemics etc at the moment. Register the machine on line for a two year warranty. Overall yes buy one.

Only used basic recipe so far but make sure
warm water used as if tepid as stated in recipy book bread will not rise as well. Also I mixed salt, sugar and milk powder in warm water prior to putting in pan then added oil, followed by Sifted flour and yeast powder makes a big difference to end product..
I also weighed flour rather than cups for more consistency..
Great bread for not much dough
Superb. I’ve owned breadmakers before and had variable results, but this one is churning out tall, fluffy sandwich loaves with little effort. First loaf was rushed together and was dense and cakelike, but after paying more attention to the method, ingredients, quantities and measurements, it’s consistently turning out great bread. Hints : we have been using the sandwich setting rather than the quick programmes, have been adding in a small amount of bread improver powder, using a mix of fast and french yeast, reducing the amount of sugar (the book recipes are a little sweet), removing the paddle after the second rise, shaping the dough to fill the pan after the second rise, and using the overbake setting to brown the crust. You don’t even have to use strong bread flour, we get great results using locally-milled plain flour. Overall, great value for money and an easy-to-use machine that churns out great bread if you pay careful attention to the method.
Worth every penny
This brilliant device makes delicious bread with almost no effort from its human owner at all. Just chuck in the ingredients in the listed order, shut the lid, press the button and it’s done. A couple of hours later (and a house filled with the delightful aroma of fresh bread) you have a superb, crusty wholesome home-made loaf to enjoy. Buying this was the best decision ever.

Fabulous Easy to Use Breadmaker!
This was my first adventure with a bread maker. Have to say I love it! Found this very easy to use and followed the instructions supplied. Favourite is the Granary loaf though I am now a lazy bread maker and can’t wait to continue to explore new recipes. If like me you were a reluctant bread maker this is the answer!
