Great vacuum cleane
It is more powerful than our older model but also heavier which is fine for me. We’ve found Morphy Richards customer service to be excellent which is why we chose to stick with them.
As good as many corded vacuum cleaners.
Bought to replace an older Morphy Richards supervac that had given good service. The main advantage of the new one is that it has two speeds – only the fast speed when hand held – the fastest speed having much more suction that the older model. Very pleased with this cleaner. Well done Morphy Richards.

This product works well and is good value for money. I have the same unit at my holiday home in Cyprus. I contacted Murphy Richard’s as wanted to buy a couple of spare foam filters and was told no spares are available it’s a disposable machine. You can now buy the Vax at around 160, probably a better optio

lovely lightweight vacuume cleane
I bought this to replace a cordless sweeper than suddenly stopped working , i do have a heavy vacumme cleaner but its too heavy for me to use daily, so i purchased this, im pleased i did, works wonderfully, takes 5 hrs to charge up, i get around 3 goes around the house on one charge, and charge it up , i always clean out the dirt after each use and clean the rollers under neath it, that way it stays clean and tidy, you have to make sure you check where the dirt sucks up by the rollers as i thought my vacuum cleaner was faulty as it was not picking up as it should do, then i cleaned out the rollers, and found a blockage where the dirt goes up into the dust cap, and i cleaned it out and its been running ok, so check that regular, im pleased with my purchase and use it daily, picks up realy well and i also vacuum the stairs each day, we have a dog so dog hairs around the house have to be vaccumed daily, well worth the money paid for it, and i wanted a brand named vacuume cleaner, good lightweight vacuums
A BIT OF A BEAST - BUT GOOD IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT!
This is noticeably heavier and more powerful than its lighter-duty cousin. I like it and am happy to trade some convenience for added power and duration. But, unlike its equally good lighter cousin, I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with seriously limited strength. This cleaner is one stage nearer a full-size and full-weight hoover. Sadly none of the filter parts match its lighter cousin so if you are hoping for compatibility with stuff you already have forget it. I believe the extension pipe and attachments are compatible though. I do think the light at the front is very useful. Overall, if a little surprised by the changes, I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is perfect for my lounge that has laminated wood flooring plus a large short pull rug, with the added bonus of the light you can easily see what needs picking up, and it does the job just perfectly! Nice and light and easy to maneuver. Easy to clean as well and altho I find the hand held unit maybe doesn’t have as much suction (which is strange!) it’s still a great little vacuum and I would recommend it!

Good cleaning, bad suction!
So, after playing around with this for a while my conclusion is that it’s great for quick cleaning, picking stuff up from the floor, etc, but it’s got really bad suction without the head attached.
For example it will clean my floor no bothers but when I remove the head and go for the cobwebs the spiders just laugh at me and walk casually away.
If you already have a big main hoover with a cable, that’s a nuisance to drag out every time you want to clean up a little something, then this is the perfect thing to have hanging in the corner. You can just grab it in 2 seconds, wham, bam, and you’re done.
I have no doubt that you could get by with this as your main hoover if you wanted, but I think of it as more of an accomplice. It also doesn’t hold very much so if you’re planning on cleaning a large dirty house then you’ll probably have to empty the teeny tiny box every few minutes.
That said, I’m quite happy with it, but I’ll pull out the big guns when I want to give the house a real cleaning, and keep this for quick messes, and quick clean-ups when I’m feeling a bit lazy.
Great purchase
I wanted a stick vacuum as I couldn’t be doing with lugging our heavy, old, upright dyson up and down the stairs. This was just the ticket! I did wonder whether I’d wasted my money on a whim, but I’ve not used the dyson (or the dustpan and brush) since I bought this.
First up, it doesn’t offer the suction of the Dyson that I’ve been used to, but because it is so light and convenient I use this way more frequently. Not tripping over cords or having to switch plug sockets half way through a clean means I can just whip round very quickly and easily with no cord winding afterwards. Whereas before I was vacuuming every week (or less, please don’t judge me), I’m now using this on an almost daily basis. It’s also so light and quieter that the kids get involved and enjoy vacuuming with it as well (everyone’s a winner!).
Initially I thought the headlights at the front were a bit gimmicky … UNTIL my little girl dropped a photoframe sending splinters of glass all the way down wooden stairs and onto pale tiled floor below. This was a godsend literally illuminating all those little splinters and giving me confidence that no one (especially the kids) was going to lacerate their bare feet. It also highlighted to my husband that YES we need to vacuum the stairs on a weekly basis if not more frequently as it showed that although they appear to be clean to the naked eye, the little headlights on this thing literally showed up all the dust and hairs – which was also very handy for under the beds as well.
I malt like nobody’s business and my hair has brought about the demise of many vacuum cleaners, but I’ve found it easy to cut my hair from this on the both times I’ve needed to. I now use this every couple of days over the bathroom floor or wherever I’ve brushed my hair and I couldn’t be happier, much more effective than the dustpan and brush that would just see my hair getting caught in the brush.
With two small children it’s also made cleaning up post-mealtime an absolute cinch as well! (not wet foods obviously), but they leave enough crumbs after each meal/ biscuit/ snack that Hansel and Gretel would be in paradise!! Again, this has just made that sooo much easier.
The only cons I can see are that the nozzle attachments can’t be stored on the unit or the wall-mounted base which is a shame, because it would be good to keep everything out of the way, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.
It does take about 5 hours for a full charge but I like that you can see how much charge is left on the vacuum by the number of lights. I usually just plug it in when I hang it up again so it’s ready to go for the next use.
The drum that collects the dust isn’t very big, but again ,I don’t mind that too much as it just ensures I empty it after each use. It’s also easy to wash between uses as well. Also as I vacuum more frequently there’s less to pick up than if I was using the big old upright.
I’d not hesitate to recommend this and in fact, I’ve been thinking of buying one as a christmas gift for my in-laws.
UPDATE. it’s started spitting out crumbs when I turn it off. Currently taking with Amazon and morphy Richards to resolve. Will update again shortly.

Happy with cleaner, but Customer Services useless.
On assembling the cleaner I found that one of the prongs on the plug was slightly bent so that it wouldnt fit into the socket. I thought that Morphy Richards should know so rang customer services who were completely useless. Spoke to two different people who both sounded boref and dissinterested and bordering on impolite. The only response was “ring Amazon”.
I actually managed to straighten the prong with a pair of pliers.
Having said that ,the cleaner is pretty good. Suction is reasonable and its easy to empty. A bit heavier than i would have liked especially when using the hand held but not a major problem. I like the light on the front.
So four stars for the cleaner, none at all for Morphy Richards customer services.

It light in wieght. The suction is OK. The battery lasts long and charges relatively quickly. Now we stopped using the standard vacuum cleane

Good little hoover. I only use it as a quick clean up around the kitchen on an amtico floor. The wheels are quite small so very difficult to push on carpet and seems to scrape on the floor so wouldn’t use it as my main machine

I have a very small flat with carpet and lino and the vaccume works well on both surfaces. It’s very easy to use, lightweight and is easy to store. The hand held mode is great from getting the tops of door frames and into corners. The drum is small so needs emptying after a couple of uses but it’s not somthing that bothers me. My space is small so I can get away with quite a few uses before needing to recharge. For the price it’s great.

Lightweight great for small flats/homes
Great for small homes. Move around the house with ease. Goes from wood to carpet. Has lights on it too so you can see any dirt you have missed.
This wouldn’t be suitable for a larger home great for a student so lightweight and easy to store.
Must be emptied and clean regularly to ensure great performance.

Needed a new vacuum, as my old one decided to work no more. I am so pleased with my purchase, the cleaner has two speeds for suction, as we have had new carpets laid this is just what I needed. It is light to handle which is good as I do have arthritis in my hands, and I can lift the cleaner easily.

This is good for day to day vacuuming or hoovering out the car, however I still have a main hoover to deep clean rugs and carpets. Blockages occur occasionally but that’s just down to user error! This is surprisingly good. It has a nice suction to it. It was able to suck up 5p coin thanks to my child. The brushes are great for furniture and it works well on pet hair. Its easy to use that my 5yr old loves it and its light enough to carry around.
The dust collector is small its essentially a dirt buster wearing a costume but it is a nice little vacuum cleaner.
It also is really great at picking up fine fluff off the carpet… its like the lint out of the dryer trap. So you know the main vacuum brush works well. That’s also really easy to remove threads from as it has a plastic catch on the bottom you can remove with a flat head screwdriver and the brush pops right out meaning now finger contortions to remover debris from it.

Sucks up all the hay from my guinea pigs and works on lino which my other one doesn’t. Really light weight, has lights to help see under furniture and fits in all the small spaces between furniture. I’m very happy with this and the price was less than half of my other one. I will definitely buy another one. I use this as the main vacuum now and keep the other one for upstairs.

For the price, it’s a bargain! The battery lasts for 30-40 minutes., the suction is good. Over all its’s much better value than lots of more expensive ones and very good battery life.

ok so this is a replacement and for the money not too bad it needs a tool holder on the tube cos you have to take the tools around with you a – for me then the head although a little smaller than my original cordless the head is not swivel which would be a nice added feature and the dust capacity could be bigger so on that i prefer my original which had the above features and was cheaper you decide

Excellent for light, everyday use.
Excellent design and ‘build quality/finish’. Use it for quick/secondary cleaning. Love the LED headlights, which reveal dirt/dust on the floor not easily seen with the naked eye.

Purchased this after much deliberation as my current cordless Dyson V6 is having issues. I couldn’t be happier with this product. Very similar in function and design to my Dyson. Suction is good it picks up small particles and dog hair very well. Attachments included and easy to clean the stairs. Not as lightweight as my Dyson but very very close and comfortable to use especially the on/off button doesn’t need to be held down while using. Charge time as stated around 4 hours and has light indicators to show the charge. Easy to remove the dust container which makes emptying easier and you just need to brush out the main filter and wash the foam filter once a month. Easy to maintain. I especially like the lights on the main brush head which are really helpful when hoovering in low light, dark corners and under furniture. I wouldn’t purchase another Dyson this is much better value for money. Very happy customer would definitely recommend.

I really like this hoover Brilliant at suction, easy to use and store and so easy to clean after use as well.
Really recommended comes with fittings for stairs sofa ect. Can even clean car quick and easy as well

Does a very good clean.
Does a good job. Light and easy to manoeuvre with strong suction. The only flaw is the small dust container that require frequent emptying. Treble the size of the dust container and it becomes a perfect machine.
It is good for carpets and tiled floors.
I bought one of these about 4yr ago and was so pleased with it’s performance, when it stopped working I immediately went for the same model, and I am not disappointed for the second time. It arrived on time and was well packed, so many thanks to the supplier.
Better than expected, easy to use, great performance
Needs emptying regularly as the chamber is obviously very small but absolutely brilliant little vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, lightweight, wife loves it.
Supervac 2 in 1 says it all, super!
Love the cordless Supervac 2 in 1. The upright is so light and easy to use. As I sew, I have lots of threads and it picks all up, great suction power. I don’t have stairs so can’t comment but the 2 in 1 means that I use the hand held section can clean my sofas with ease. Great for the money, would recommend.
This is the second I have bought (same make – same product) … the first now lives permanently upstairs. I use the new machine downstairs on tiled floors and mainly for dog hairs. I always attempt to review an item with absolute honesty – which usually means weighing up both he ‘pro’s and cons’ …. I am genuinely struggling with this product – there just seems to be nothing I can say against it. Straight out of the box – and you immediately see that this is a ‘top quality item … it both looks good – and it feels good. Before use – put it straight onto he charging unit – a few hours later … the red light turns to green – and you are all ready to go. Place your hand over the end – switch on – and feel the suction power this machine has – it’s truly impressive.
Off you go … and you’ll see what I mean – this machine really does – ‘mean business’. The only thing you have to consider before you purchase this item – is that it can’t really be expected to have the colossal power of a plug in 240 volt mains vacuum cleaner – and it doesn’t. You would be mainly buying one of these for an efficient and quick – zip around the house … it performs that task with ease and efficiency … but can’t be expected to match the power and capability of a mains machine – for – deep cleaning.
That said – providing you understand “why” you are buying it – and what you expect from it … it’s an excellent purchase – that’s why I now have two of them.
Improved suctio
I purchased this vac to replace the first version MR produced and which had finally died after some years use and its used on twist carpets, and the handheld on car cleaning and upholstery.
What I liked:
The full unit has two suction speeds, the highest of which is a huge improvement over earlier models. I had used a heavy upright alongside my last MR Supervac, but this new model is far more powerful.
The vacuum collapses down and takes little space to store.
I originally thought led lights were gimmicky, but actually they are useful.
The one speed handheld is much easier to remove than other products in the current Supervac range.
There’s a swivel head tool attachment – great for upholstery, mattresses, stairs and car cleaning.
Battery usage time is good.
The increased suction option definitely collects more dust to empty at the end of a cleaning session, but the convenience of this unit outweighs that for me. If I have a gripe, its that there doesn’t appear to be an easily removable replacement battery which could extend the life of the vacuum and probably make recycling of old machines easier.

I LOVE this vacuum cleaner! It’s the best I’ve ever used (and we’ve owned a dyson). It’s cordless, bagless, lightweight and it stands up on its own. It is super easy to remove the little handheld vacuum for use. It’s easy to empty and clean the dust canister. It has lights on the floor head to really show up the dust to make sure you get it all. It swivels really easily and manoeuvres underneath things really well. It stands in its charger with little storage areas for all the tools. It’s quiet. And it was the cheapest vacuum I could find with good reviews – more than half the price of most of them. I can easily clean my whole house with this on one charge (we have 3 floors). I haven’t used the tools yet, but look forward to trying them out. I’d recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Fab little hoove
Great hoover even picks up my dogs hairs without problem. Prices was also a bonus.
I read the reviews – especially the bad ones and thought long and hard before I purchased. All I can comment on is how I find it. It is heavy; it has really good suction on hard floors and carpets but my carpets are all short pile and I can see if you have thicker/wool carpets and rugs you may have a problem; run time is good and charge time also; it’s very compact and can be stored in the smallest of spaces; it’s great having the facility to unclip the hand held feature which is also good; it has a small dust box but is very easy to empty; yes it’s stiff to empty but better that way than too loose; it hasn’t a fiddly filter which no one ever bothers to clean, the one filter is easy to get to and clean; mine doesn’t topple over as some appear to do; the tools for the hand held are sufficient; I thought the light was a bit of a gimmick, but actually I find it very useful.
I use mine for daily vacuuming, not the heavy duty stuff, but it’s great and I recommend it after having had mine a month.
