Got one of these lights 3 years ago and the batteries in a low traffic area lasted 2 years before the light reduced to a point where I had to change the batteries. I’m still using the light on its second set of batteries. Really easy to install and give of a very good light. Individual lights can be directed in different directions. Detection is very sensitive. Expensive but worth the cost.
These lights are an ideal way of getting bright, motion sensitive, multi directional outdoor lighting without the need for wiring.
The lights are very bright and each are on an adjustable swivel so can be moved both up and down and also left and right.
The unit slides onto a bracket which you fix to your chose with three screw’s (plugs and screws are provided).
The fitting bracket as others have mentioned makes it easy to remove the unit. So plausibly could make it easy for it to be stolen. However I got around this rather easily by fitting it higher than an average person could reach.
Other than that it’s great and fits my needs perfectly.
Bought these in October 2020, fitted them with Duracell long life batteries, and still going. Just about to change for the winter again. I sealed the fixture with a thin coat of vaseline to add to the waterproofing which has worked a treat. Just opened one set and completely dry inside. The lights are good for the summer and winter months, sensor picking us up a good 10 -15m away and floods the rear of the garden very well. Will purchase two more now for other parts of my garden, now I know how good these are.
These have been great all summer, battery life seems good. I suppose winter will give a better idea of what they’re really like.
As with all outside products you need to have it working before you can give a honest review. At the moment they are working fine and the light is very good. Will up date in 6 months if still working.
Very easy to install. Lovely and bright. Lights angle well and the motion sensor has a good range. Wish they would have an option to stay on dim rather than go off completely but I am pleased with the way they light up our dark side passage when we need to take the bins out.
Purchased to illuminate 2 garden area during the winter months as running power to the area would be difficult, Simple to install and work perfectly, time will tell regarding battery life.
Bought 2 of these as wanted to light up certain parts of the garden which weren’t near anywhere you could get power. Have to be honest, was slightly doubtful as to how powerful the lights would be on batteries, but Im really surprised and pleased! They’ve done a really good job and stay on for a decent amount of time. Im yet to find out how long the batteries last, but at the moment really impressed. Thinking of buying some more for the other side of the house, save having to hard wire.
Brilliant, quite literally, battery operated security lights. Very easy to install as they require no wiring. Adjustable directional beams though no control over sensitivity of PIR or illumination timing. Avoid placing near central heating outlet as warm gasses will set it off.
Having purchased three individual Mr. Beams lights I invested in two of these doubles, perfect illumination over my shed while the individual ones illuminate the side of the house. I have been surprised how long the batteries will last, in a couple of the lights over twelve months, a good light.
I purchased based on all the positive reviews and am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Its bright and works very well.
for the price they work okay. Detector is fixed but lights rotate flexibly. Heavy with batteries which are the huge d type.
I have three of these units now first one I’ve had over a year,and its been faultless so easy to install, great battery life even up here in Scotland outputs a fair amount of light ,you won’t be disappointed with this unit.
Not had chance to test the battery life yet, as they’ve only been up a week, but everything else was fine. Install was a breeze and it picks up anything legitimately moving around my house at night. The day/night sensors work too, so it’s not wasting batteries in the day. Really bright and very convenient.

I have other battery lights but these are great and I would definitely buy more although the cost is a little high.

I was looking for a light for my driveway as we have no street lights on our road. After deciding not to go down the road of wiring in flood lights i came across these lights. I’m always a bit dubious about product reviews. But these seemed to have good reviews so i bought a pair. So easy to install. They are bright enough for my driveway. My daughter even moaned because they were to bright !! Obviously doing their job. I would recommend these to anyone. They light up for about 30 seconds then go off. If the batteries last 6 months i will be happy.

Firstly all arrived promptly well packaged etc.
I bought a set of 2 early December, these were for the garden for the dog more than anything as it’s pitch black where we live. The throw of the light and the coverage is fantastic. Hence I thought give them a month see how we get on, battery life etc. well so far so good. So I got 2 more for the driveway and they are really good!
My one VERY MINOR comment would be I’d like to be able to set them to stay on just a little longer, but it’s not a complaint as these are battery operated so I guess the 15-20sec. Is probably set for a reason.
I would highly recommend these lights. Easy to install. Easy to access once off brackets to get to batteries. I will report back when the batteries die …. fingers crossed it’s a while!

Had these for ages now and still working. Really bright and fully adjustable. Have these lights facing a busy pathway and the batteries still last around 12 months

I purchased two of these. One for the front door and one for the back. So far, they work well. They give off almost as much light as an electric light. Hoping that they are actually watertight.
Easy to install and fit.

Very good quality and a lot brighter than I was expecting. I only purchased them to shine a bit of light when the dog goes out into the garden after dark. They do the trick and still on the same set of batteries for a month now. Great purchase
(a couple of months) and was directed to contact manufacturer directly, I sent a couple of e-mails with no replies from Mr Beams at all which is a shame. so I will not buy again from them again. In prcis one of the lights was not fit for purpose and even now works but sensor is waterlogged and the lights stay on permanently, not good of battery life obviously. They are a great idea and if they work they are first class , but there seems to be a problem, if you have one . So its a risk and a balance. On e bay you get to rate starts ion different criteria, if I could have done that I would have scored the company way less than the product.

Put these along a fence at the side of the house. Very easy to install and provide a great light. Sensor works well.

The lamp seems well made and is relatively compact considering the strength of the beam which is more than adequate for a short driveway and garage door.
