I have used it & it does what it was supposed to. Stylish & easy to carry.

Due to the low number of reviews I was initially cautious about buying this machine – but now unreservedly feel it was a good purchase decision – I am really pleased with it as being battery powered means that it is quick and easy to set up and use on a regular basis to keep those pesky fallen leaves at bay and keep my driveway looking tidy!

Only criticism is that the batteries make it a little heavier to use than as mains powered unit – but battery life is good and I have never yet run out of charge.

It is true in this instance to say that you get what you pay for – well made and convenient to use – highly recommended

Item arrived well packaged and on time, simple to assemble, came as a complete machine, including batteries and charger, not too heavy and a lot less cumbersome than a corded machine, both blowing and suction worked as well as my Flymo machine, not as robust which accounts for it’s light weight, but I am sure with respectful use it will do a good job for many years. I would recommend to a friend

I was determined to swap to a cordless leaf blower/vacuum having tripped over my old mains-run one’s cable and broken my nose! The Murray cordless is obviously so much safer, and is easy to assemble. It is lightweight and manoevreable. A quick test- run proved that the adjustable vacuum is fine for our medium size garden. The two large18V 5ah batteries supplied provide plenty of power. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a fantastic piece of kit, it’s made such a difference to tidying my garden. I had a cheap electric plug in one which was cumbersome to use as it meant having to plug it in at different points down my garden and driveway to reach the full lengths and wasn’t overly powerful. This however is an absolute dream to use!

This comes with 2 batteries which already have charge in them and show the percentage of battery left on them which is really handy and i’ve found doing my entire garden and drive only used 50% of the battery so there’s enough charge for it to be used again without even charging straight away.

Weight wise this is heavier to use than my older cheap one as obviously the batteries make it more heavy but with this making it so easy and versatile to use I don’t mind at all and it’s manageable for me and my partner to use.

The vacuuming capabilities are fantastic, it’s more powerful than my old one and doesn’t struggle even with the wet muddy leaf piles I currently have in my garden and it collects them easily and shreds them up to then be emptied in the garden waste. It makes it so much easier and i’m really impressed with it. I haven’t had a need for blowing the leaves yet but it also has that feature.

All in all a brilliant piece of kit, the batteries can also be used with other tools across the range which is always useful to have spares ready charged and ready to use! Highly Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMaybe you’ve never heard of Murray – but it’s a brand of Briggs and Stratton who you should have heard of if you’re British at least. There are quite a few cordless leaf blowers/vacs around but this one appealed because there was no messing with changing nozzles from blow to vac, it was 36V, looked well-designed. and came with everything – main unit, two batteries and charger. So far quite happy, but some may find it a bit heavy because of the batteries, but I think this is an issue with all cordless leaf vacs so be aware. As a guy (sexism alert!) this is not an issue for me (even though I’m 70), and it’s a lot lighter than the old mains-powered leaf vac I still have. However, the mains-powered ones are usually more powerful but I’m, happy to trade the cordless convenience for slightly less power. Also like the battery percentage indicator on each battery so you know how you’re doing time-wise. Cleaning our patio and pool area for 20 minutes I only got down to 60% battery so all good there as well.

Great machine with large battery autonomy which is more than enough for me to collect all the leaves.
Only one problem : the accessibility of the turbine is difficult for cleaning, otherwise I recommend buying this machine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve used plenty of leaf blowers and vacuum’s over the years and the most annoying thing has always been the cable, it always seems to get in the way. This leaf blower and vacuum from Murray offers the same or more power and performance you would expect from a wired one but with the freedom of being cordless. I still keep looking around for a cable because I’m so used to it lol. The leave blower does a great job blowing most of the leaves into a pile and then the vacuum function does an admirable job of sucking them up and chopping them up. One thing to be aware of is that it does struggle to vacuum leaves that are really wet but this is the same for most garden vacuum’s. Either wait until they’re dry or use a broom. Simple.

Unfortunately I had to return the item as it wouldn’t hoover up large dry or wet leaves, kept clogging and constantly having to unblock it. The manufacturer did reply to me saying it was not suitable for large leaves. It picked up small leaves perfectly and had a great blower facility.
It’s a shame as a fantastic lightweight machine, easy to manoeuvre due to the wheels, powerful motor and top quality recharge batteries.
I would definitely recommend, as long as you don’t have large leaves.
The return process was quick and easy. Pors at Amazon customer service was so helpful and efficient.

Considering this is battery powered, it’s a powerful machine for both blowing and vacuuming.

It’s very simple to put the machine together. The build quality is very good. It’s really easy to operate and the shoulder strap and wheels mean you don’t feel the weight.

I live in Wales where it’s often wet so I road-tested this on wet leaves on wet paths and grass. It was a pro at both jobs. The blower needs to be pretty close to wet leaves but has a wider effect on drier leaves, and ditto for the vacuum. The vacuum mulches what it sucks up and collects it in the heavy duty cloth bag that hangs under the tubes. You can see from my photos how it comes out.

The batteries last a long time, I ran out of jobs for it to do before the batteries died. It uses two batteries and comes with a special twin charger. They charge in good time, and the batteries are universal for the rest of the range which is useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful machine

Really good piece of kit. Battery on full whack lasts about 20 mins in vacuum mode, which is more than enough for me to collect all the leaves on our driveway which is fairly large at 50sqm.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI normally resort to raking or picking leaves up out of my back garden so this leaf blower and vacuum is going to be used quite a lot this autumn.

Firstly, it is quick and easy to set up, I’m not just saying that as I’ve never had one before. The two batteries which attach on to the blower are already charged, on the back of each battery is a display which shows charge percentage when you press the button. These batteries can be used across the Murray range also which is useful if you have or intend to purchase these. The charger takes the two batteries at the same time, the charger also has a front USB port for charging any other external device.

The main blower itself just needs the front end and 45L bag clipping on and with the batteries attached you are good to go. The front handle is adjustable to make holding this more comfortable, the lever on the side changes the unit from blower function to vacuum. Switching on is via the variable power control switch on the front. In use it is comfortable to move around with the wheels on the front helping out. Initially I found the vacuum function didn’t perform well but after a while I got more used to it and was able to grab all the leaves on the lawn. If big leaves get lodged on the front hose it just needs to be slightly agitated and the vacuum will pull it in. I found the vacuum worked best when the front hose was close to the ground. All the leaves that it grabbed was mulched and kept in the attached bag which I will use on the garden at a later date.

The blower performed amazingly, even wet leaves stuck to the ground were easily moved out the way. I used this for about 25 minutes on full power and had used about 50% of the battery charge. It only took about an hour to get the batteries recharged back up to 100% which was quick.

Overall its very impressive and the quality of the unit is very good. There’s no wires or petrol to mess about with, just plug in the batteries and you’re off.

It’s most definitely worth the money!

It's a powerful leaf blower/vacuum for a battery powered unit!!!
