I’m not the best at doing my own nails but after using this kit for a while I’m finding it easy, anyone can do it. The kit came with everything I needed including polishes. I’ve since ordered another one for my daughter and also different colours of polish. Love it!
Perfect results, I was a bit worried at how good it would be in comparison to having them done in the salon but look amazing and will save a fortune. The lamp is fantastic drying in 30 seconds.
As a complete novice to the use of any type of nail polish I opted to go for gels as I need something that doesn’t chip easily while I’m at work. This set was very easy to use and the instructions were very clear. I am very happy with my purchase.
Great product! I would say some of the lighter shades need an extra coat but the LED version is so quick to cure its not really an issue. The buffer doesn’t last very long so I would get some extras. Stays shiny and only starts to lift around 14 days which is pretty standard I think. I bought some of the Mylee gel remover that you paint on, leave for 5-10 mins and then remove the old colour.. Much easier!

Wouldn’t buy again but only because I’ve progressed onto more expensive products during my beauty studies, however these are great for home use and for beginners.
Brought as a gift for my daughter who loves this so much she says she won’t be going back to the nail bars . Seemed expensive but you get what you pay for .
Great set! Easy to use, instructions are clear. Nail polish of great quality, easy to apply, did not come off by itself nor did it chip for two weeks. Easy to remove by yourself. Great colours as well. Will definitely order more colours.

However the led light has scratches on the top of it which is not nice considering the price.

Never been a fan of gel nail polish as it has a reputation of ruining your nails but I finally caved as I’m so sick of my nail polish chipping within 1 day of application. I am officially hooked and this set was such great value for money – brilliant quality too!
I’m on my 3rd colour and the first 2 shades I tried lasted up to 17 days (!) with no chipping or peeling. I only changed colour as my nails grow pretty fast. I’ve bought the Mylee Pro kit and I wish I’d had the confidence sooner!!! I’ve been paying to have gel polish done every 2 weeks for the last 9 years so Lockdown was the push that I needed and now I’m saving hundreds of pounds doing this for myself. Worth it!
Watch some mylee videos on how to take the gels off/ paint them before you do your own & there’s paper in the box on how to paint with a step by step guide – my only regret is i didn’t buy this sooner! The light looks stylish & the products are really high quality. I purchased a pack of cuticle cutters with a few more buffers/nail files to use alongside this pack & honestly it’s great! The cuticle oil smells lovely & all the products work great.
Don’t forget to use the nails prep on your nails before painting them with a a base coat, but just you tube a few quick videos on mylee gels tutorials & you will be away! Enjoy if you do buy it’s 100% a must have xx
The colours I received were very nice also with the exception of one but a family member loved it so it went to a good home.
Clean hands, thin coats and the prep and polish steps are key.
To me this is 100% worth it. It’s defo worth the money, the quality of the nail polish is so good. The bail vanish remover came with significantly less in it than there should be but I just sent a message to mylee and they sent a new bottle once I provided a picture. Perfect!
This is probably one of the best investments I’ve made.
Watch a couple of mylee YouTube tutorials and you are away. You won’t regret this purchase.

I have never been particularly good at doing my nails so used to get them done all the time before I had my lg.. that was 5 years ago and I’ve missed having nice nails so my husband got this set for me for Christmas! Not going to lie I was a little nervous about making a right mess of it but the picture above is my first try and I’m so so pleased! I am so glad my husband took the jump and bought this kit for me as I know I’ll be using it regularly. It’s nice to get a bit of me back!
P.s remember to apply thin coats as they definitely work better and last longer. It’s better to have to apply two coats of the polish than one thick one.

Great kit. Easy to use, includes everything you need to get started. This is my first attempt not too shabby. Lots of gel polishes on amazon too. Got it on prime day. Wouldn’t have paid full price for it. Could probably get everything in this kit cheaper if you ordered all the bits separately. Much easier to get it all in one go though.
After using a friends (different brand) I decided to buy my own. I bought the complete pack which has the extra cuticle oil etc. The product arrived in one box complete with everything you need for application. Reading reviews it’s really important that the instructions are followed as this is flawless to apply and provide excellent results.
Buff your nails to remove shine, clean the nails with the provided cleanser. Apply thin layers and do one hand at a time.
The colours supplied were lovely and a great base to start with. I can’t wait to add colours to my collection!

Amazing kit, has absolutely everything you need to do your own gel nails. Loved that it came with 4 colours and they’re all very different.
My nails look lovely and it’s nice to know they’ll last a while! Once I used the polish and wipe at the end, there was no tackiness and I could carry on as normal instead of waiting for it to dry, like you do with normal nail polish.
Really enjoyed doing them too, and not stressful or complicated in any way.
Only grumble I have is that the buffer block (possibly the wrong name for it) isn’t very lasting, I don’t recommend attempting to shape your nails even slightly with it as it ruins the block. I’ll be using it only to remove the shine from my nails in future which I think is only what it’s for.

Looked at this for 6 months, finally bought it and its amazing, for the first time I have nail varnish that doesn’t chip! Thin coats of the varnish us key, took a couple of tries to get it right, but I change them every week and look forward to doing it!

Great product. Only reason not 5 starts the light activation can be fiddly, but once you get use to it it’s fine. It dries my nails incredibly quickly. Highly recommend.
This is great! Since lockdown I have obviously not been getting my nails done so I thought I’d do some research on gel kits, this one came up with good reviews and I was not disappointed! This will save me a fortune on getting my nails and toes done, the colours that come with it are nice and I’ve ordered a few more since, I did my nails one week ago and they still look fab- I would definitely recommend buying this.
Very easy to use and no different to visiting the sLon except for the cost. Saving lots of money, good investment.
For beginners, just make sure you master painting your nails with regular nail polish before switching to gel. This is because I have seen very dreadful results that are unrelated to the product and absolutely the fault of the user. You have to avoid getting any of the product on your skin at all cost and apply very thin coats.
Remember manipulation of the product on your nails is much easier than normal nail polish because gel does not dry during application. So take your time blending the thinnest coats and apply as many layers required.
Really like this. I always have a professional manicure with tips and gel polish however DIY essential on lockdown. This came with everything I needed. Like the removable base plate clear instructions too.

This has been a life saver during lockdown. If you’re a nail lover and thinking of buying a kit this has everything you need and is super easy to use. I highly recommend this, it’s worth the money and you end up having swanks nails ! If you’re starting off with nothing the only think I’d recommend buying additionally is some decent nail files & buffer as the buffer has worn quickly.
Okay so positives: arrived quickly, everything was packaged nicely, the gel polishes look great, the gel nail prep + remover actually smell really nice, so does the cuticle oil. So the cuticle oil is the only slightly negative, it leaked in its packaging but luckily came wrapped, also the lid is chipped I believe? Maybe it’s meant to be like that but it doesn’t look like it to me? Except for that one inconvenience I highly recommend this everything is great!

Really happy with the purchase of this gel lamp kit. No issues with it at all, great value for money. I just use it on myself and friends, so not sure how it would last within a busy salon or mobile use.
Works really well if you just want to add a bit of colour to your nails. Chips after a few days but try not to apply as much product and you should be fine. You get better quality at a salon but this is a great alternative for those on a budget.

Amazing! If you’re good at this kind of thing, and have paid attention to the nail technicians while getting your own nails done then its SUPER EASY to use. Just do what they do. No tackyness, no stickyness, lovely colours to start with. If you’re buying to save money, fork out on a better kit (like this one) its worth it because the result is professional!
So long as follow the instructions, you end up with a salon quality finish. I am not the best at shaping my nails or sorting out my cuticles but even I was impressed with my first-time results. It will definitely be a case of getting better at it the more I do it but I can’t recommend this enough. Colours are gorgeous and I cannot believe how good value this kit is. It has everything you need it in (except an emery board which is pence) to get going.
If you go to the salon once or twice a month, this kit will pay for itself in no time and save you money in the long term.

I pay at least 25 for acrylic nail extensions not as a fashion accessory but because my nails are so soft they snap and split all the time. I bought this item to do my own gel polish to strengthen my nails to stop breakages. It is so easy to use and works really well. I keep my nails short now and two coats of gel polish keeps them really strong. I would definitely recommend this item.

Fantastic kit, has pretty much everything you need to do gel nails! Reducing by 1 star as I was sent two base coats instead of a top and base coat – something I only realised as I had finished putting the colour on! I used the base coat again in desperation but can’t imagine it’ll hold up as well as it should.

Excellent product. After having my nails done at a salon once before going on holiday and paying a hefty price for it, I decided to have a go myself. So far so good. I haven’t tried the other three colours yet, but here is the darker pink colour you get as part of the free set, the instructions are easy to follow and all be it a little less thick than the salon, I’ve achieved the same glossy results.
Bought this as don’t have the time to go to a salon for my nails to be done, so far I’m really pleased with the results, only criticism is the variety of colours, but other than that a really nice ki

This is my first time ever doing gel nails and I must say, this has to be one of the best investments in myself I have ever made. I have been spending between 20-50 per month on getting my nails done since January, and with a change in career I found myself looking for areas in my life to save some money. This will pay for itself in 3 uses! As far as I can tell, the colours are true to the ones advertised on Amazon (I used Pastel Chic on my hands and Requiem for a Pink on my toes), and the coverage and application of them is smooth and nearly flawless. Excellent lamp and polished. This kit has everything you need to complete a professional looking set of gel nails. I’m on day 3 and there are no signs of peeling so far. The key is to buff the shine off the nail and not to go near the skin or cuticle as this is usually what causes a gel polish to go wrong. This kit is so much better than the ones you can get on the high street and the polished are half the price so it’s a winner for me!
Used a few different brands of gel polish in the past and found this one to be my favourite especially at the price it is. I bought this Mylee kit during the prime 2 day offer a couple of days back as I had been debating for a few weeks if to buy it as I already own a UV lamp so wasn’t sure if to replace it . Well I should have done this sooner even at the higher price as the lamp is amazing and so much easier and quicker to use with the timers on it. Everything about this kit is high quality and I would highly recommend! Found it so easy to use and the gel polishes glided on and look extremely good even for a non professional like me. I work for a company that uses an expensive brand to do gel nails and I have had my nails done a few times by them but I believe the Mylee gel polish to be right up there with the more expensive brand. Don’t hestitate to buy it like I did as I won’t look back now!

Super little starter kit. Clear instructions, quality products. Gels that came with it were nice colours and pretty finish.
I am an ex beauty therapist and have been having my gels done at a salon up until last month. But it has always niggled me that I could quite easily do them myself if I had the equipment, so I decided to give it a go and save myself some money. Easy enough to apply, although the gels seem thinner than those at a salon. It’s only day 2, the nails look great, it will be interesting to see if they last the usual 2-3 weeks, hence the 4 star review. Looking forward to adding new colours to my repertoire! Overall, pretty happy.

This package comes with almost everything you need to get salon results at home. I would recommend purchasing a nail file, cuticle pliers and tin foil (for removal). All you need is a steady hand and the results are so quick and easy. The colour selection it comes with isn’t great but this is personal preference. It’s a great starter pack and so much better than paying a salon every time you want your nails done.
