The Nilfisk core 140 is well designed and manufactured. To date, I have used it for cleaning paving. It did a great job. It is not too big, and so fits easily into my shed.
I am delighted with pressure washer.
Good piece of kit, very powerful, cleaned my patio and paving in less than half normal time.
Everything is well stored on product.
Really good performance and the retractable hose is great. Streets ahead of the Karcher I had which felt cheap and went wrong pretty quickly.
Am I happy with my purchase? Basically. yes. Are the accessories expensive? Yes. I can however continue to use my patio cleaner and others. In use, this machine is actually very good, and I am very happy with my purchase. (But RTFM before assembly!)((If the acronym is new to you, the first word is read, the last word is manual and the previous is f***ing!))
After 12 yrs of reliable service my old Nilfisk gave up the ghost, so there was only one manufacturer I was going to replace it with! It was very easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Yes, it’s plastic, but it certainly isn’t flimsy! I particularly like that you can wind the hose up into a secure and semi sealed container. The pressure on this unit is higher than the one it replaced and you can certainly tell. It makes light works of patios and brickwork, and cleans the car with ease. All the old attachments I had for my old jet wash fit this model so I’ve got no further outlays. Brilliant bit of kit!!
Great pressure washer! Mine had to be returned due to a faulty nozzle but the replacement has been fine. Brought this to clean the car but also done an amazing job on my patio!! Which hadnt been cleaned in around 10 years!! Chose this over the yellow ones due the the more reliable metal pump
Great value for money especially when compared to a Karcher. Only criticism is the high pressure hose isn’t long enough, if you’re washing a large car you’ll have to keep moving it and longer hoses are too expensive in my opinion.
Great price, easy to assemble. Powerful and adaptable. Use it for cleaning the patio, the car and the boat – be a bit careful there. Very p[leased.
This needed to be put together-the kind where you need to secure the parts with screws but pretty straighforward and easy to assemble especially when you are familiar what it should look like and there are helpful assembly videos on youtube to watch in order familiarize yourself with the model. This is my first Nilfisk Pressure Washer so had to research. The illustrated User’s manual is easy enough to follow even for people who don’t like building things. The weight and size of this machine is perfect once set-up, not very heavy and bulky. It looks so neat and tidy with everything has it’s own home for storage. The wheels and the handle are very good, just wheel it around like a suitcase. It’s really easy to take out from our storage to use and wheel it back again to put away. The machine itself keeps the hose and lances organised neatly. We use our standard garden hose for water source and it all right as long as you have the click system fitting. The machine hose is 6 meters long and the mains cable is 5meters so it’s pretty substantial for how I need it as I don’t need to take and drag the machine close to me when doing a job especially going around the car. It is just always sat away from me without getting wet and dirty while I do the task. The gun is very comfortable to use but the power control switch is not on the gun so you have to walk back to the machine to change the setting. I enjoyed using this to clean our decking, concrete yard and bins. This may not be the strongest of all pressure washer I have tested but it’s packed with all the power (up to 140 bar) perfect for our household need for patio, decking, concrete floor cleaning and car washing when we desperately need to do it (we live right next to to a cheap big car wash so we go there as it is very convenient and cheap).
But one thing that suprised me is the recommendation/instruction to use a back flow valve or non return valve which is the first from all the machines I have tested. That’s additional 60 for a Nilfisk brand but around 20 from different brands! Is this really powerful enough to cause a backflow especially when using a detergent? I still tried and used it without and it’s alright, I just didnt use a detergent, just in case. We connect our garden hose to our bathroom tap and we never had issues.
having previously had a karcher for years – i found this much easier to use and lighter.
It did a great job on the patio and drive – it has a really useful switch for high ( drives) / low pressure ( car) switch….nd it has an automatic hose reel so no more getting tangled up.
Really impressed with it – really easy to use and simple to follow instructions.
Second nilfish ive had (first one lasted about eight years).
This one is great quality, high-pressure, lots of settings, and benefits from a retractable hose switch eight storage. Very happy overall
All I think is needed from a pressure washer is the ability to clean and if it does that then it passes the test. This Nilfisk high pressure washer certainly cleans and cleans well, see video. I think it has prolonged the life of my driveway and saved me maybe thousands of pounds in the cost of a new driveway.
It does come ready for home assembly and this was quite easy and accomplished in about 15 minutes taking my time.
One thing I did notice was the bottom corners of the cardboard box (pic 3) were badly dented and this did impact on the case of the washer. The body is a bit discoloured but this has no effect on the way the washer works.
The high-pressure hose stowage is very good and although the electric cable tidy could do with a bottom bracket it was surprisingly easy to stow that cable.
With 2 different hose/lance attachments for different jobs this is a basic pressure washer that may lack some frills of more expensive machines (like app control) but does exactly was it is supposed to do and does it well.
This compact unit comes in a smaller box than I expected, but it’s because there’s a bit of assembly to get you going. It’s all fairly straightforward though and shouldn’t be beyond anyone that can follow instructions.
The whole thing is really well thought out, with a built-in reel for the hose, somewhere to spool the mains lead onto, and a pocket on the side for the washer itself. Unlike my Karcher, everything stows away neatly.
The variable power is useful, although I like having it on the lance instead. You have to go back to the unit to adjust the overall pressure. It’s pretty good though and certainly up to the task.
It’s convenient having a handle at the top so you can wheel it around rather than having to lug it about. It’s fixed (unlike my K4) but overall the price is almost half that of a K4 and it has similar performance.
Only negative would be having the outlet lower down so if you pull on the hose it won’t topple over so easily. Otherwise an excellent machine.

Not the easiest tool to assemble requiring strong hands and patience. The illustration/no words directions are adequate, but take your time and follow them exactly . A long Philips head screw driver will help.
Once assembled it is easy to manoeuvre with a place for all the attachments and it has a sturdy, quality feel. A longer electric cable would be useful avoiding the need for a cable extension for most jobs. The hose is a reasonable length and the hand grip and trigger comfortable even during prolonged use.
The different power settings are a big plus as are the two nozzles which combined give a variety of settings for many different tasks. I look forward to many years use.
Overall , apart from the assembly, I am delighted with the Nilfisk core 140 power washe
Machine is lightweight which a bonus is although it does have wheels. A lot of parts to put together unlike a certain famous brand! But stored easily
The hose is a bit plasticky and not as long as I would have expected but it stores well in the machine by way of a wind up. Instructions not great either. Extra attachment pieces can be purchased separately.
Can be used in all the places one would expect such as car, driveway, walls, fences etc and you can set the settings according to the task you are doing, there are 3 pressure settings
Looking forward to actually using as given the regular down pours we have been having of late I have not had the opportunity to do so.
Really well priced compared to another very popular brand starting with a K!

It took my hubby and teenage son around 15 minutes to fully assemble this pressure washer. Everything is included in the box except a Phillips screw driver which you need.
Once assembled, I connected to my hose and tested out the two different nozzles provided. I connected the foam sprayer and went about cleaning my cars. I used the gentle nozzle to wash off the foam. I used the highest power setting to clean both of my cars as the lower settings werent getting the grime off. The hose supplied is a good length and I like the fact that it can be wound up into the machine for easy storage.
This pressure washer is reasonably heavy so it wasn’t easy to pull over when I was moving around my cars.
The trigger guard has a safety mechanism which is excellent if you have little ones running around – to stop anyone getting hurt.
Next, I went into cleaning my pathway. I used the rough nozzle and was amazed at how much dirt/grime/mold it washed away. The water pressure even dislodged weeds growing along the pathway.
This is great pressure washer. It’s easy to use and store away. It comes with a generous hose length which is more than adequate. It’s ideal to use on cars, patios, brickwork or yards.
This is a very powerful jet washer indeed on a par with krcher but not as fancy or as big, it’s small and compact and great for storing in a small space. It fits together very easily using the installation manual. We took this to my brothers to clean his decking that’s got all green mould on. This little thing did a brilliant job the power is fantastic it blasted all the mould and dirt off no time it looks like new now. This is a brilliant product and well worth buying if you don’t want to spend money on a krcher.
There is a bit of assembly required with this item and I would suggest a little more than if you had purchased the a similar model from their main competitor. Do not be put off by this statement though as I believe that Nilfisk made really good pressure washers and provide purchasers with a good package for the price. All tools and fixings are supplied and it simply takes a couple of minutes to determine where the parts go!
We have an earlier C120 washer which I have now given away and am using this along with the additional drain/patio cleaner from that model as this item did not come supplied with them. What it was supplied with was:
+. The main washer unit
A nice compact unit with the added feature of storing the 6 metre hose on an integral storage reel: incredibly useful. The unit delivers up to 140 bar pressure and this pressure is user adjustable via a rotary power control on the front of the machine: I suspect most people will use it on full power though? I like Nilfisk pressure washer as they are much quieter than others on the market and “whine” when you release the washing trigger.
It has a trolley, but at 8kg I can easily carry it across our gravel driveway.
+. Nozzles
There are two which fit to the supplied lance. A tornado nozzle for use on harder items such as paving slabs and a power speed nozzle which I use on garden furniture and cleaning my car. Be very careful with the tornado nozzle as it should only be used on items that are very hard and certainly not on car paintwork.
+. Foam sprayer
A reasonable quality car foam. sprayer. We have used it with Karcher snow foam and it works quite well and covered our cars in a reasonable layer of white foam. it isn’t as good as a dedicated snow foam lance, but it is good enough and ensures that the concentrated solution is diluted and evenly spread.
All of the attachments can be stored on the main unit making it easy to store in a garage of shed without trailing cables or hoses.
In operation is is that good? Yes it is. I like Nilfisk products and whilst we also use Karcher products, Nilfisk are of a similar build quality and operate very well. Additionally I find them compact and a little lighter than some on the market.
For the home environment, I think that this pressure washer offer good value and more than sufficient cleaning power for the majority of jobs. There are also a good range of additional reasonably priced packages available for purposes such as enhanced car cleaning (brushes), dedicated patio cleaning (larger area), drain and gutter clearance.
There is nothing to dislike about this washer. It is light weight compared to other brands, the hose storage winder works really well and the choice of nozzles combined with the variable pressure range make this a really excellent machine for just about every task. I am very pleased with this purchase and the price paid. Much better than a karche
The Nilfisk seems up to the task required for the jobs around the house and so far has exceeded expectations. The only downfall is there is nothing mentioned about buying a non- return valve before buying the item which I then had to buy the following day – 23 before using the pressure washer.
Early days as yet but I am pleased with the pressure washer.
I bought this on a Prime Day deal and I am really impressed with the power. The power can be adjusted with 3 settings and the lowest is quite sufficient for car washing. The washer is compact, not too heavy and has wind-in hose storage. It came with 2 nozzles – fan and tornado – for the pressure lance and a detergent dispenser bottle so it has most of the accessories I need for the jobs I shall be using it for. Very pleased.
First time of use, All worked well. Cleaned our huge living room rug with the rotary brush and liquid laundry bio through the spray bottle, it worked just as i had imagined. Then used the lance to blast the soapy water out together with the dirt. Plan to clean our boat roof next with the rotary brush, which is a huge area to hand wash, and was the original reason for purchase. For the expense, i hope this pressure washer serves us well. Fingers crossed because the Karcher was difficult to use, moved awkwardly and leaked.
Good thoughtful design. Especially like the changeable heads. The hose to the lance is super flexible easy to deploy and wind back up, and all kit stored onboard.
It does what it should do. Seems a good sturdy pressure washer.

Initial impression of this product is that it is well-engineered, of high quality materials (internal & external), and should be durable. Time will tell of course …
First intended use was for jet-washing a tarmac drive of approx 20m length that is susceptible to heavy moss, (and on which I have tried various remedies). The Nilfisk Core 140 bar – used with high power head – was very easy to use and very effective for this task. Pleased that this relatively eco friendly solution worked so well.
Anticipated ongoing use – with soft power head – to clean bikes, cars , uPVC doors/windows & frames/conservatory.
There is however a lot of assembly required. It’s all easy to do and the tools are supplied but may put some people off.
Cleans perfectly well and is compatable with attachements and tools from older Nilfisk machines.
