eShop cards from Nintendo are very handy and safer way to let kids spend without needing to input your credit card for the kids, they can spend on what games they like or even save the money on their account and wait for some of the great offers that periodically appears on the eShop. The money never expires in the account. Handy way to control spending.
A life saver, since there is absolutely no explanation why nintendo are not accepting any debit or credit cards whatsoever it’s been going in for WEEKS and all the banks I’m with have no issues with the merchant. IT’S NINTENDO WHO ARE THE PROBLEM! My little boy wanted a game and I can only buy games via PayPal on my own ID and not his, since cards aren’t WORKING via nintendo. The only solution was to buy this voucher and I was then able to apply it to my son’s account and buy his game for him before the nintendo Christmas sale expired on this particular game. Nintendo need to get their act together, it’s been going on all throughout December!
It woks you put the code in your switch and you have credit. I read in another review if you read the code out loud it takes you to Narnia. I did this and have spent the last week fighting evil demands and witches. This has not gone down well with my boss. So don’t read the code out loud if you need to be at work the next day.

When you know they love their switch but don’t know what game to get, this is ideal.
I was a little apprehensive to purchase after reading reviews from people who had issues with receiving expired codes and that these cards are non-refundable. But I had no issues and it all worked perfectly. I received my code instantly after payment. It saved me a long trip to the store.

Although comments around random combinations may be correct, each code has a similar prefix to identify country of origin, so may be confusing to some.
There’s no physical product here, so if you’re purchasing this as a gift you might want to look elsewhere, although there’s nothing stopping you from writing the code in a card or something similar.

It is a top up code , can’t go wrong, and no need for the Amazon delivery, so they can’t muck it up.

Email arrived in seconds of purchase with redemption code on. Would be nice to have the option to print some with it on. Instead had to print email as it was a gift.
Issue 1: Originally tried to buy last night but my account got flagged and locked instead – just keep in mind in case this is your first time doing this! Order was cancelled tho and I was able to get back into my account this morning, so all’s good!
Issue 2: Code is not sent asap, took about a hour for me to get it (I’ve heard it should take up to 4 hours max, anymore contact support). Could just be because its my first time ordering a code via amazon for this, so please keep that in mind too.

What it doesn’t elaborate on is that you can use this to buy v-bucks in fortnite which is excellent for us. Our cards are more secure now and cannot use to buy v-bucks so this us a great way of doing it. Only thing is the lowest denomination is 15.

This is only an emailed code, not a card like you get in the shops, which I didn’t realise. Code works fine though, and it does reduce plastic waste – I printed a Nintendo scene easily found online with the code superimposed on, on A4 paper, to make it more of a “present”.

I bought it on Amazon for the full price. Very convenient and easy that way than going to a shop or supermarket. I have had no problem using it online to top up my Nintendo account. I would order it again.
Great present for gaming the only thing I would say is that it is a little bit confusing if you are not a gamer and bought for a younger person as the instructions of Nintendo switch are not clear.
On purchase it is not clear whether you will get the physical card as well as the downloadable code so if you are gifting it leaves you a little unsure of what to do next.
I supplied mum of the gifts the code but again how to redeem isn’t very clear. You have to work the puzzle out!
If you’re looking to bulk up your e shop funds this will do it the fastest, but don’t get 4 at once or you’ll exceed the 180 limit and have to wait at least 24 hours to redeem the last one.

I purached two eCards and whilst the purchase went smoothly and the codes worked ok, as these were a gft I wanted to print out the eCard to hand over to the recipient. I could see the two card purchase in the amazon digital video games and software, but when I selected the Print option it just diplayed a message stating “Oops Something went wrong” Not ideal when purchaing a last minute gift! I had to manually copy and paste the redemption codes into a word document and print that in order to have the codes to hand over.
I refuse to put my bank details or link paypal to my kids gaming systems so vouchers for me is the best way to control their spend. Being able to easily and instantly access the download code is perfect.
These really are a good bribe as you can get them as and when required. I’ve bought these in different denominations a few times now as they are truly hassle free 😉

word of advice though, you find your voucher code on you amazon account sub headings, it does tell you this if you read the small print. its in a sub heading of ‘Gift Card’
It’s a voucher and it does what it’s supposed to. You just enter the code in to the Nintendo Eshop and then your voucher will be added to your account and the recipient can use the cash to buy digital games. Good way to treat friend or family on Birthday’s, Christmas and other special occasions.
Less than five minutes to buy and redeem and use on my Switch. For some reason I have an error on the Switch that no longer allows me to use my bank card, so I used it here for the gift code. Problem circumvented. Email came instantly, and I found the code under my list of digital purchases.
Not gonna lie was the best decision I had made because Pokemon released an extension pack for the new sword and shield, so I guess I just got that for free. Smart thinking ! If you can’t decide what to buy on amazon gift yourself another gift card lol
