It’s a great monitor – very discreet and really good motion and sound detection. It did stop working after a month but the company have impeccable customer service skills, they were fast to respond to me and sent me out a new monitor straight away. Cannot fault them at all!

We bought the Nooie so we could watch out baby after moving him into his own room. The night vision on this is amazing, and with the motion detection I am able to keep an eye on my baby. The set up was pretty straight forward and I like that you’re able to invite people to view the camera so my partner can watch from his phone as well.

Absolutely love the Nooie camera. In fact I loved it so much that I bought a second one for my parents house. Both cameras are working great. I definitely recommend it. Great product and great value!

I purchased this camera so I could see and hear my 3 month puppy when I left the house to see his progression when left unattended. The sound and image is brilliant, you can rotate the camera remote and zoom in, and I can also speak to him if I wanted. Great product at a great price! Would highly recommend

This camera was the perfect spare camera for my parents house. I actually prefer it to the expensive one I bought for the baby room!
Quiet when moving the camera into position, baby never wakes up when I turn it on, and I don’t keep having to reset it every time. On top of that, the customer service is amazing! They get back to you quickly and are very helpful. All my family now have nooie cameras.

Great and so easy to use. Good alerts for sounds and motion detection that you adjust so it can move around and also adjust the sensitivity.
Ideal that it’s an app and you can check on baby even if you are out the house and they are with a caregiver.
    Very impressed overall!

    Great for baby monitor!

Do not have a bad thing to say about this camera, other nooie cameras I have bought or company as a whole. Amazing quality day and night. Unfortunately after 6 months use my microphone stopped working. The Nooie team were extremely helpful. My camera was replaced under warranty. I had a slight scare that my camera had been hacked, I then discovered it was just my microphone thankfully! The Nooie team took this very seriously and looked into it right away. This was yet another confirmation of what a great company this is.

Of course reviews are a matter of opinion, but I purchased this baby camera as a gift. They are so happy with it that they decided to buy another one of nooies baby cameras to add to it. Easy to set up and fantastic quality, and easy to use. Would recommend to anyone who’s expecting a new born. Or just for use as a CCTV camera. They’re fantastic, well worth the money.

For anyone looking to have a decent baby monitor on a budget this is brilliant. VERY SIMPLE VERY EASY TO SETUP. That’s what I wanted to know when I was looking at baby monitors. Really hope this helps genuinely understand how hard it is to pick one. It is a wired one and quite short lead so might need to get a cheap extension cord but it is worth it. The app has bad ratings on the update so just don’t get update and it works fine. Honestly it’s easy simple app.

We use the Nooie camera to keep an eye on our 2 year old once she has gone to bed! (It also keeps an eye on Upsy Daisy as you can see from the photo!!) The picture quality is great & the sound/motion detection is all we need to know she is safe upstairs in bed. As it is a free-standing camera, it’s easy to move if she has a nap elsewhere during the day, & it can go with her when she stays round Grandma & Grandads. This is much better than our previous camera & monitor we had & linking it to you phone/iPad means you don’t need any separate equipment. We would highly recommend this, it’s an excellent product for the price.

    Marvellous camera!

Bought this to help monitor both my son who has a learning disability and my elderly dog. So easy to set up, picture quality is clear and so is the sound quality. Able to share the feed with other family members. Can’t rate this highly enough. Just what I needed. Camera makes very slight sound but hardly noticeable. Does have a light on but easily covered by blu tac if it bothers you. I’m so impressed, and I never usually get round to leaving reviews. Just download the free app and follow the instructions. If I can do it you can!

Pleased with this camera, good picture quality and 360 vision. Motion detection also has the option to follow the motion which is handy for toddlers getting out of bed in the night!! You can set different schedule for notifications so they don’t go off during the day which is also handy. The camera spins quite fast so you have to be delicate when adjusting the view to get it where you need it. The only thing I wish I could change is the notification sound so it’s not the same as a text message (iPhone), not sure if/how to do this but I’ve not found a way to change it yet!

I’ve had this camera for 2 years and occasionally it loose connection but other than that it is quite reliable and like the reassurance of knowing what’s going on whilst I’m out. My camera developed a fault and when through all the steps provided through Nooie support which still did not resolve the problem as it had a defect. Nooie provided me with a full refund for a replacement camera. Well done. Replacement working perfectly.

    Good motion detection.
    Good two way chat.
Good line of sight of room.
Easy to hang up on wall. (Drill needed)
Generally it is a good picture.

    Sometimes vision is blurry
    Sometimes the sound doesn’t work.
Sometimes there can be a few seconds delay in real time vs what is on the screen.

Good night vision, motion detection and picture quality. You need to get Nooie cloud to get the best recordings. It doesn’t cost too much a month for the subscription. Only downfall is that it can go offline occasionally but you just turn it off and on again and it’s then fine

Our old baby monitor had died after many years of use and we needed a replacement. We needed something we could monitor on tablet or phone. This option was fairly cheap and did what we needed.
We had to get a wifi booster to improve the signal strength due to the cameras location. Apart from that it works. We use it with an iphone and ipad.

We use these for Animals, ailing or / and in particular the tense moment of Birthing. They have a habit of birthing in the dead of night, so this amazing monitor, can help you see in the dark, speak to and listen to the animal and other animals in the area. Only issue being human error, in the placing of the item. She would rub her bottom on it, and pass wind very loudly at night waking the whole house…. The Zoom feature and moveable head is a god send where you loose an animal on screen and find it asleep under the camera. Strong Wifi is a must, or the picture is either distorted or it simply will not connect, but as soon as signal is good, you are up and running, very easy to set up. (in the end the birthing happened, not in the shed, but on the lawn, middle of the day, with everyone watching – great piece of kit tho. ) Thanks Nooie Support for all your help with other challenges faced (Emily and Juvy)

After reviewing plenty of cams to monitor a baby, decided to go with this little one and cannot be more happy with the purchase.
    1) good quality, soft touch plastic feels expensive for the price.
    2) SD card included (i’m did not have any plans to use cloud services)
    3) Image quality for day and night are relatively good for the price.
    4) App works fine on my android/apple devices including tablets. No lags or issues(as noticed by previous reviewers) after a month of usage. The only downside I noticed is a delayed sound detection. I can hear my child’s cry roughly 1 second earlier than the device output.
    5) Image sometimes buffering for a few seconds, but it’s not disturbing.

The main deal beaker for it could be that you have to use one of your devices connected to a power supply for constant image monitor. But in 2022 i believe everyone now got a device that can be used as a spare for monitor.

If you are looking for a good baby cam, but don’t want to spend a fortune, this cam is the best choice.

The camera is friendly looking, silent whilst moving and the picture quality is outstanding. Truly the best value for money and probably better than most pricier cameras.

The IOS connection is faultless, I like that you can only be signed in on one device at a time, the security is fantastic.

The product is 5* really but I’m rating as 4 star as I bought to use with my Amazon show and the connection with that is very hit or miss.

I’ve really enjoyed using the product so far. It’s easy to set up and use, and the night cam is very clear. The only difficulty we have had is placing the camera in a fixed location. We are unable to wall mount the camera due to our rental agreement and putting it on a flat surface can make it slightly awkward angle on video. It would be handy to have an angled base with adhesive similar to a car phone holder to be able to fix the camera onto and tilt the camera when on a flat surface. To be able to buy this as an accessory would also be helpful.

EDIT: The company reached out and shared their flexible mount. I am eager to try it out!

  52. EsperanDibdin says:

My main gripe with the camera is that it is so unreliable. We just seem to be having constant issues with it not connecting to the app or the screen going black. We’ve been using this as a baby cam for nearly 7 months and it’s so frustrating, as we seem to be having these issues weekly. Usually the problems are rectified after turning on and off several times (or it just rectifies itself), but not ideal when you’re trying not to wake an infant.

The camera itself is fine otherwise, image is clear, night vision is good, easy to zoom without reducing quality, easy to rotate cam (although annoying that when you turn it on and it starts to rotate away). If we weren’t having the issues with reliability, I’d give it a 4.5/5! Maybe, we’ve just been unlucky.

Update: Fair play to Nooie, they got in touch following my review and offered to find a resolution. Brilliant customer service and good to see that they’re keen to resolve issues rather than just hide away. I’ve updated my review to reflect the excellent service provided. Thank you Nooie.

  53. VickiePurdy says:

Camera is of a decent quality (for the price point). Night vision is reasonable too. Pan/tilt function works well.

The product could have incorporated the standard 1/4-20 UNC 2A mounting screw/thread (found on camera/peripheral equipment around the world) within its included wall mount adapter. I’d imagine far more people could make use of tripod/stands/mounts than semi permanently fixing this camera to the wall.

Had to buy a 3rd party flex arm mount, just for the 1/4-20 UNC 2A alone. Costing me almost half of the camera’s cost.

Another slight downside, that it only works on 2.4GHz wifi. Most wifi connections would broadcast and switch between 2.4 and 5GHz automatically, but this camera requires you to separate the networks to achieve connection.

    Hi,
Initially i left a 1 star review.. trying to get the WiFi working was a nightmare.. but customer support was lighting fast and i got it working in no time. ( basically i hard to first connect it to a mobile hotspot for a small update then it connected to all my routers in the house)

I will strongly recommend this for anyone who needs a live feed.. I tried many cameras, but most cut out after 10 mins of use.. this one is been on in my puppy room 24/7 for 4 weeks and no signs of slowing down..

The video is almost without delay, the 2 way audio is very clear , if i had to pick on something would be the night vision is not as clear as i might like but for this price you cant argue !

I did try it with Alexa but while it is working the delay is bad, sometimes 8-9 seconds. Not really the camera fault, the dedicated app works just fine.

I do have to point something out, you can only log on 1 device with the username.. if you log on a different device it will log you out. You can have a workaround, you can share the camera with another user, so you can make multiple users if you have multiple devices . But even that has a limit of 3, so keep that in mind.

But yea, I LOVE this camera and does what i need it, i can keep an eye on my pet when not in the room at all times!!

I use this as a baby monitor camera and have it attached to my bubba’s cot. Conventional baby monitors are pretty expensive and most of them are clunky with poor quality imagery. The day and night images are crystal clear on this camera and I have the ability to zoom and pan the camera to check any details while bubba is sleeping (such as zooming on his chest to check his breathing!!). The app also allows me to take pictures and videos which can be useful. The motion sensor will be useful when bubba gets older as I will be able to track him around the room as he is playing. The alerts allow me to be able to hear bubba if he starts crying which saves me from having to constantly stare at the monitor. There is a 2-way talk function built in, however I have not been able to get that to work effectively as there is a lag with sending and receiving the audio, despite me having a superfast internet connection and that’s a shame as it would be fantastic if it worked. The camera images can be accessed via an app on the mobile phone or via an Alexa-enabled device. In addition to the lagging audio, my only other feedback for improvement would be to have the images available via a desktop browser or desktop app. This will free up my mobile phone because right now, I can’t use my phone while it is being used as the camera monitor screen. Overall, a fantastic product for the price point with good build quality and a stylish design.

I brought this for my daughter for her baby. We initially grew frustrated trying to set it up and was about to send it back because we could not get it connected. We persevered and got it working and quite happy with its functionality. We confidently put baby to bed and don’t need to be in the room with her. If she stirs we can unmute on the app and speak to her and settles well from anywhere in the house with her being reassured until we make it in to get her or she settles back to sleep. Night vision is great and it’s nice and colourful in the day. It is very motion sensitive even passing in the hallway, it is very aware. So for animal lovers out there it’s great for you with your pets.

  57. Attila Tomaschek says:

I love how the motion detection is very quiet. It can follow the subject around the room without them feeling they are being watched. I bought it to put into a family members room with dementia to help alert me when they got out of bed. Sadly, they have since passed away, so I now use it to watch my car through the window, but without the motion option, as it was picking up too many motion events.
The nightime clips aren’t that good, as it isn’t really meant to be used in this way, but it’s excellent in the daytime, and cannot be interfered with from the outside. Really good value.

It does work still after 6 months, I can’t say the same for the BT baby monitor (5″ with phone app too) or the hellobaby one monitor. I wish the sound was better, basically a noise gate means you can’t hear regular breath only screaming (you may prefer this). I originally had struggled to connect 2 phones to the system but it turns out you just need one account setup per phone then you can invite the other user too, it seems there is a lot more you can do in the app too, top marks for support team helping with that. The picture is not quite clear enough to see breathing at night really but smallish movements will tell you they are still alive. Well made and with good mount for getting it on a wall or furniture for a better viewing angle.

Would highly recommend this camera to anyone with a new baby or dog. I have one on the baby and picture is very clear to see whether baby is asleep or has woken. The sound is also excellent quality and you can clearly hear whats going on in the room.

I thought it was such a good product I got a second for our dog and is great that we can an eye on her when we’re out.

It is extremely easy to set up and I wouldn’t be the most technical person and I managed it very quickly. This product is well worth the fantastic price and I would highly recommend it to everyone for an extra bit if security.

I am currently pregnant and have been looking at baby monitors but the prices are ridiculous and the reviews are not so great so got this on a deal and thought we would try it out. I’m very impressed. I set up an account and can share the camera to another person who sets up an account also. Have tried it while we was out and it picks up the motion very well, cats where the guinepigs. I think it’s only on colour when attached to the WiFi and black and white on phone internet. Sound quality is great also. You can also move the camera to look round the room and can save footage of your purchase a memory card or pay for a “cloud” account. So far very impressed

We use this for our 10 week old puppy so we can get some sleep; it is just amazing!!!
I know people have had rubbish experiences with this, but absolutely try it for yourself; if it doesn’t work you can always send it back.

We have found that the sound quality and the speakers are really great.

It also gives you notifications when noise is picked up. Even if it’s the next day you can click that notification and it shows you what it was.

What’s also great is you can move the screen to where you ant but bar all that; if you see something really cute on the cam you can take pictures!!! Even though it’s dark it does them as though there’s light, I’ve used it a few times when the puppy is in a wth position:))

The only slight tiny downside is that it Sometimes does a quick load screen. This is a downside as you can’t see what’s happening during this time.

Our little isn’t here yet but I bought this on a black friday deal as I felt it was worth a spin. The picture quality is fantastic and night vision is crystal clear. Only draw back (which is due to me not thinking rather than the product) is that it goes through a phone app so when the baby is eventually in her own room, I will need to use our hold sound monitor in the night as I’m not going to respond to phone notifications when asleep! There is a slight delay but om not that fussed as a second delay isn’t going to make a huge amount of difference when it comes down to it.

Basically needed a camera to keep and eye on how regularly my ferrets where eating drinking and pooping. Super easy to set up and great quality image. Not had a problem at all with connection and picks up on motion and sound great. Be wary this camera is not compatible with 5g WiFi as I didn’t catch that bit In the discription but luckily I have both and you also need an sd card or pay a monthly subscription which I personally think is expensive but I just got an sd card instead. Over all super happy I’m going to get another as a baby monitor the picture is that fab.

    Well chuffed

The customer service was pretty good but don’t be alarmed if the first camera does not connect, sent it back, this is normal I thought after reading other reviews that it was one or two cameras maybe faulty but it seems it’s happening quite often.
Another camera was sent out to me arrive very quickly, the set up went well only taking 3 attempts to connect.
it seems impossible to insert the Mirco SD card. The slot is in a very awkward place to slot in such a small card.
Also the movement of the camera is better than the other cameras on the market. There is a limited area where the lense/ eye will not rotate all the way down to enable to see the floor, which is the area where I wanted to view, keeping an eye on my pets.

Overall this camera is not bad, great for following my pets around the room at waist height, but there are slight faults with this product. If the product improves and amends the faults, I would probably buy another. I would give this product 3.5 out of 5.

Using this as a baby monitor in my baby’s room and I’m really impressed. So easy to set up and the picture quality is excellent, even on the night time setting.
You can also share your video with other accounts so I can check up on him on different devices such as my tablet, phone, partners phone.
The motion and sound detection is brilliant and there’s also an option to speak to baby through the camera.
    Very impressed so far!

I originally bought this in Nov 2020 and have been using it pretty much every single day and night! The product itself is quite good. My daughter is a light sleeper and we used to shut the windows and doors when we put her down for the night. The noise detection notifications on your phone are good enough. What was even more helpful was the motion detection once she started pulling herself to stand up.

Recently the night mode stopped working for no particular reason. I got in touch with their customer care. They were extremely prompt and super helpful. Tried a few OTA firmware updates and app beta tests and the camera during daytime would work perfectly but would not switch to auto night mode. A week later they sent me a replacement. Alma from customer care was fantastic throughout!

I got this camera so we can check on on my mother in law as she has dementia. It’s been very helpful as I can see if she is getting stressed and call her or visit to settle her.
I have also been able to hear if she is upset, as she occasionally is. She has carers so I know when they are in, they cover the camera if assisting her with personal care which is great.
I have not spoken to her via the camera as that would be extremely confusing and potentially distressing to hear a voice in an empty room!
Night vision is excellent and I can set the area that I want the camera to capture.
All in all it’s been an excellent purchase and let’s me know that she is safe.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat production, efficient and painless set up. Excellent picture quality
I bought to use as a baby monitor and whilst theoretically it works, in practice it’s isn’t what we require.
Two people can’t sign into the app at once so if I am going out, I have to log out, my husband has to log in (sometimes it triggers another set up) and whilst that sounds trivial, it’s a pain when you’re busy parents.
The alerts are great for movement and sound detection, however, you can’t put your phone on silent at night as the alerts will not be heard.
I would recommend the product, it’s just not for us

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe got this camera because the reviews and price seemed great, and it’s true! We needed a camera to watch our cat during our honeymoon as he doesn’t like being alone. The option to speak through the camera came in really handy, though sometimes more dependent on good internet. The image always worked no matter how bad our internet was, that was great too.

The camera itself is a ‘cute’ little thing that’s not too obvious. Very easy to set up and get going. The motion it has was very surprising and a handy feature that we were able to move it ourselves on the phone. You can take screenshots and videos of the live view on your phone. The motion detection proved to work well too.

Overall I would definitely recommend getting this camera whether you need it to watch a pet or just your home. The quality you get for the price is extremely good and it’s very easy to use.

Alma from customer service has been very sweet and helpful when i had a question too, great service.

    Perfect Pet Camera!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic camera at a great price.

Very easy to set up, download the app, show a QR code on your phone screen to the camera and it’s done!!

Then I added to Alexa and it shows on my echo show, to my surprise I can move the camera and zoom in on the echo.

The image quality is very clear and the motion detection is very cool.

Can’t believe something so good is such good value for money.

The 2 way audio is very clear and simple to use.

I can view the camera when I’m at work without having to set up my router, it just works!

Being able to move the camera is so much better than my old fixed one.

Records to SD card and then can view on my phone, tablet, PC, makes it so much easier than a recorder DVR and monitor.

Very compact size and very quiet, you can turn the LED off on the front if needed.

I’ve not tried the notification settings, but there is an area to enter an email address. I use it as a baby monitor, but also useful as a cat/dog monitor if you’re at work.

    Night vision is very clear.

Great bit of kit, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing value baby / pet camera

I had a couple of Nooie outdoor cams already, but since a new additon to family (a lovelable rogue of a Shih tzu puppy) I needed some indoor surveilance, i wanted integration with google home and to make it easier went for this indoor Nooie cam, have been very happy, the motion tracking is pretty decent, even though it freaks out the puppy a little. But at least I can also place the camera in a way that i can peer into two rooms with ability to pan and tile the lens from anywhere in the world once in the Nooie app. For the bprice this is decent option and im consierding a couple more for the in the home.

I used to use Ebitcam cameras and I was happy with them, but the starting up time when opening the app was very annoying, and also the constant need to reset because out of the blue the image would go black.
A friend of mine recommended Noiee BabyCam and I loved it, it is so nice and good quality and the app shows camera within 3-5 seconds sometimes even instantly and I never had to switch it off and on to get it working again as it has not stopped working or lost connection at all.

It is definitely worthwhile the price and quality of the device. Perhaps the only 3 things that I would recommend them to do to improve EVEN MORE its quality are:
    1) Create a software so that we can see the camera on pc (this is very handy for people like me that works on the pc and want to keep an eye on baby)

    2) Add the option to increase or decrease microphone volume when you are talking to someone through the camera.

    3) Fix the way we see the recording, it is a bit hard to understand this at the beginning as it goes in opposite directions.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersSet was extremely easy, the picture quality is fantastic. Adding to this the extra capabilities of the camera are great and for the price this nooie camera is amazing value for money.

We have previously paid double the price for a different brand monitor and it doesn’t come close to the quality of this camera

Having motion and sound detection and tracking is great and you can adjust the sensitivity of this options.

I will be looking at other products from nooie.

One point to add is that when I did set up I initially installed the out of date app which was causing a problem on my phone to view the camera.

I emailed customer service who responded in less than 24hrs and reconnised the problem and advised on installed the correct version. Problem solved great speedy response

    Fully recommend

I bought this, and I’m honestly surprised at how good it is considering the low price. It does exactly what it claims to do. The night vision picture quality is fantastic, also. It has full 360 motion tracking which I’ve found has worked really well.

You can monitor the camera feed on your phone or tablet which is really useful and actually use your phone to move the camera direction. The Nooie app is easy to use and the cloud storage subscription is fantastic and low priced. I think it’s about 95p a month for the basic package but even then the features of that package are more than enough. You can listen in to the feed, use the microphone feature to speak from your device through the camera. You can set the camera up to automatically record sound or motion events and the nooie cloud subscription allows you to save events recorded straight to your device.

I’m really pleased I bought this, I was looking for cheaply priced security camera that was easy to use. It took only a couple minutes to set up and pair with my phone and I’ve had no issues so far, so I’m really happy

This is a great little camera, although it’s advertised as a baby monitor it can be used for absolutely anything in the house. I have this in my spare bedroom over looking the drive way. The motion tracking picks ups movements and does exactly what it says it will do, it tracks until it can’t track any more. This is perfect for people with kids or pets if they want to keep an eye on them in a separate room. You can also set up motion zones in the app.

In the app you can move the camera around manually by moving your finger up/down/lsft/right there is sometimes a slight delay so do small swipes otherwise the camera shots around. You can record direct to your mobile from the app or sign up to nooie cloud services or if you have a micro sd memory card you can install that into the camera and it will record 24/7 on a continuous loop and just overwrite the oldest recording.

Picture quality is amazing for such a small camera and the night vision is spot on as well, I would happily have a few of these cameras around the house for total peace of mind and security. They can be wall mounted or even on the ceiling as in the app you can rotate the image, so placing these in the corners of the rooms would be ideal.

To set up the camera you will need to turn off the 5ghz wifi on your router as this camera only works on 2.4 once the setup is complete you can turn the 5ghz back on.

Great camera at a great price.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI think this product is great. I have used four other baby monitors over the years and I think this one is the best by far, especially giving the price!

The camera range is fantastic, as the camera can tilt and rotate you can capture every corner of the room. The motion and sound detection is great you can turn these features on and off and also schedule them to be active at certain times of the day / night. You can also set the area you would like the motion detection to cover. Although I use this as a baby monitor, I am considering buying more to use as a general security system also as I think it would serve that purpose really well. I use it with an Alexa Echo show and it integrates really well. The only feature it hasn’t got which other baby monitors have which would be useful is thermostat for the room. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAbsolutely fantastic value for money in this camera. So far I cannot fault it so let’s have a look at some of the previous issues which I thought I may come up against, and do to a degree, but they are not the cameras fault.

    Image quality:
Great quality and lives up to expectations. However some have said in the past that the quality is an issue. It is not so as depending on which device we view it on depends on the quality. On an Alexa spot, it’s quite small but well defined, on my phone (Note 10) it is perfect, on the portal (10″) it is somewhat blurry.

    Setup:
absolutely no issues there, extremely easy to do but bear in mind that you need a 2.4Ghz channel on the wifi as with most IoT stuff.

    Audio:
Fine for what is needed and we can speak through the device too, the only downside, which is of our own doing is that we have white noise playing in the nursery, so when we have the camera streaming to the bedside alexa… yes that’s right, we also have white noise.

    Movement and Sound alerts:
As to be expected, which is why this is a temporary thing, the device will send an alert to the app on your phone when movement or sound is detected. Now whilst this sounds great, my issue here is that it is set in levels, and rightly so for the price. The lower the level the more tolerance it has for movement or sound. Here’s where my issue lies with this and all other devices and why it is temporary.

If like us your little one gets up randomly at silly o’clock, blows raspberries for a bit, slams their feet on the bed and after ten minutes goes back to sleep, the camera picks it all up and alerts you. Now you could adjust the sensitivity so it picks up only the loudest of cries, however this type of cry is usually indicative of being awake too long and he is therefore throwing a complete wobbler. The sound of a wakeful cry is somewhere along the some level of a raspberry or his general cooing.

The only way I can think of sorting this (I am a software engineer btw) is to train an AI to listen to the room and decide for itself if the cries are for attention or they are just messing about. Of which I am in the middle of training. However this takes time and is somewhat individual to each baby, and also to their age, as it will need to learn as he progresses through infancy.

So why not just wait? well the prospect of getting aforementioned child into his own room and out of ours (6 months) was well worth the money for this little camera. The missus gets to sleep without the worry of whether he is dead or not in the other room and we both get to sleep moderately well without a baby in the cot next to the bed playing the bongos at all hours on the mattress.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Users6 weeks of use as a camera to monitor our puppy at night whilst in its crate and am really impressed with this camera. It’s nice and quiet in use so as not to disturb a sleeping pup. Picture clarity is excellent and it has a good wide angle view, along with zoom as well. Positioned on a low shelf 3 metres away it gives excellent coverage. Easy to set up and with separate accounts whole family everyone can view from the app. We power camera off when not in use and it powers up fine and within about 30 secs when turning on. Appears well supported with a couple of firmware updates since setting up. Our first WiFi camera and very impressed with quality and value for money.

The camera is mostly great, now that I understand how all the settings work. The night vision is really good. The motion detection is good when it works – but it is unreliable: sometimes a pet or person can walk right through the scene and the detection fails to trigger. The app is a little unclear in some respects (e.g. whether motion notifications also need to be enabled as well as motion detection, in order to get recordings to start when motion is detected). Overall, I’d recommend this if you can accept the unreliable motion detection.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI got this to keep an eye on my little one in the night, but due to poor Internet connection in the bedroom on the other side of they house, I repurposed it for overseeing the garden.

What I loved was the easy setup and how sensitive it is to detecting movement. The notifications can be switched off anytime, which is a plus.

Night vision isn’t doing much, as it’s facing a window, but it does the job I need when I let the dog out or my child naps in the buggy enjoying fresh air, while I can get on with work and keep an eye on her at the same time.

Edit: Used it to supervise my bunnies in the night after spay surgery – amazingly clear image, and could keep an eye on them when not in the room.

The camera arrived on time and well packaged. The camera is well designed and has a pleasing appearance that disguises the fact it is a camera. The SD card slot is in a well concealed location and not in view at the back like most cameras. The USB connector lead is different than any other fitting I have seen before, well designed and fits neatly into the back of the camera. Set up is easy by just following the instructions in the app. The app itself is very clean and well set out and very easy to use. Picture quality is good and I really like the motion tracking which works very well.
Overall I really like the quality of the camera and would buy other products that Nooie produce with confidence in the future.

Honestly the night vision on this thing is insane, it detects a lot of motion and sound too, the app is really simple to use and you can set up timings for alerts and also the sensitivity so your phone isnt going off all night
its a real life saver, we noticed our baby had her arm stuck in the bars due to the motion alert and quickly put her in a more comfortable place
    I’d recommend 100% to everyone
the cloud option is also a fantastic bonus for that added storage sop your phone doesnt get saturated in pics and videos
the only con i would say is i can’t seem to find a desktop app to monitor the camera, I work from home and cant hear her from my office, so if im on a late night call id like to have a screen dedicated to the camera
other than this small nit pick its an amazing bit of ki

We bought this as my mother in law had to move in with us following heart attack/stroke. [Prior to buying this product], she had a fall in her room and had to go back to hospital as we didn’t witness the fall and they had to ensure there was no head injury/broken bones.
Having this monitor gives us much greater peace of mind for when she is in her room. The night vision means we don’t have to leave lights on to see her. You can turn motion tracking on or off depending on your needs. I keep the sound notification on during the night so we can hear if she gets up or calls for help.
I am impressed with the quality of the camera for the price, and it has been worth every penny to ensure she’s okay. I was pleased that it was very easy to set up and easy to use.
Just ensure you have a very strong wifi connection (as it relies on this)! If I go out and my data isn’t working, I am unable to see what’s going on (issue with my mobile company, not this product).
I am very happy with this purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend- great value.

Never was able to connect to my network. You millage may vary it was a problem with my router. I contacted nooie, amazon and my is for support none were able to help at the time.

If you ate able to connect this should be a good device just take note there is very limited email support if things go wrong.

I did get a replacement camera to see if it was a hardware fault but new unit also couldn’t connect.
Settings seemed fine within the router gateway but still couldn’t connect.

Nooie support have since been very good an issued me with a goodwill gesture.

This product is really good. I have now just bought my 4th camera for around the house.
The movement detection is very handy for the little ones and they will double up as a security device. When you leave the house or go on holiday you’ll get instant notification of anyone in you rooms.
The software is real easy to use. You can connect it to Alexa and then simply ask her to display the camera by name on any tv with a fire stick or one of the Alexa devices with a screen.

I would say it would be real useful if the software for tablets and phones would allow you to monitor more than one camera at once but sadly you have to choose the camera each time.

Having a last location startup position would be nice too, so when you switch them on they go back to that point.

But the software is easy to use and real easy to setup one or many cameras. It’s very easy to switch between them once setup too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor our second child we wanted to complement our more “traditional” baby monitor with a video feed.
After trying some other offerings, we discovered the Nooie camera that had good reviews in this use case.

Plugging it in and setting it up in the app was straightforward – similar steps to other cameras of this type.
The camera itself doesn’t have much “down” view, for example if it’s on a shelf it’s hard to see below it, but we overcame that by propping it up at an angle.
The night vision is excellent, very crisp and clear, which aligns with the high image quality of the day vision.

The critical point for us was the push notifications on noise, rather than motion – this is where other cameras outright failed to deliver. I was very pleased to see that the Nooie camera sends an alert to my phone within two seconds of the traditional baby monitor kicking in, and with adjustable sensitivity and a scheduled time option it is nicely configurable for our use.

I haven’t tested the motion detection as that’s not something I need from the camera so no comments on this.

Really pleased with this camera and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Looking for an affordable IP camera that doubles as a security camera and baby monitor, complete with usable software for instant checking? If so, Nooie Cam 360 is ideal for your purposes. Well, the name, 360, indicates just what the camera can do: rotate and spin through 360 degrees, covering every inch of the chosen area of observation. The camera itself is a plain-looking device, no doubt designed to blend in and avoid drawing attention. A tiny LED is the only indicator that it is switched on. It also records and streams footage in high definition and IR night vision. This is possible thanks to a high-quality sensor and 1080p HD camera lens. Two 940nm infrared LEDs assist the night vision, which works up to 32 feet (10 meters) in pitch-black conditions. You can also disable the status light. Motion and sound detection are also built-in, enabling the app to send real-time notifications to your phone. Note that motion detection can be disabled if preferred. If your Wi-Fi is strong enough in the location the camera is placed, it should be responsive and reliable. Aside from this, the only real issue is the limited length of the mains power cable and its unsuitability for outdoor use. Other than that, this is a great option, and considerably cheaper than most HD baby cams on the market.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersWe replaced our video baby monitor with a nooie 360 purely because we needed one that moved to see the whole room now our son can get out of bed. However when we set it up we were amazed. It’s so easy to set up, took us about 2 minutes to do, you can add people to view your camera, you can see it from anywhere, and turn it on and off from anywhere. You can move it yourself, or set it up to follow motion. You can even adjust sound and motion sensitivity for your alerts.

The picture quality is second to none. It’s so crystal clear even at night. Worlds away from our original monitor which was blurry and pixelated even in the day. Sound is much better than the crackly sound you’re used to on a monitor as well. Two family members have asked me to order them nooies after seeing ours! Would absolutely buy again, in fact we’ll be getting another for our front window to face the garden and front door!

Crystal clear, easy set up, access from anywhere!

I spent a long time researching various different WiFi cameras that we could use as a baby monitor, I looked at many different models, however I’m glad that I selected the Nooie cam as it has a few key features that distinguish it from other cameras that aren’t specifically designed for baby monitoring.

The most important feature that I find particularly useful is push alerts for noise detection, other cameras only provide motion detection alerts. The alerts come through to my phone almost instantly, allowing me to access the camera feed and see what’s happening in the nursery.

Another key feature is the Alexa integration, this allows you to view the feed via an Echo Show device or even on the Fire TV.

In addition to the above points, the video feed always loads quickly, the pan/tilt mechanism of the camera is extremely quiet and responsive, and the picture/audio quality is great. Overall everything works exactly as advertised and I’m extremely pleased with the functionality provided, especially considering the low price.

We got this camera in preparation for our little one arriving in September (approximately 4 months after purchase) so we could try it out and see how we like the camera. In the absence of a baby, we have been using it to watch our gecko who is mostly active at night.
The camera is fantastic for the price, and we are both very happy with the functionality so far.
The night vision is incredibly clear and bright to view, and with the “notification” light turned off, the camera is unnoticeable in a dark room.
The motion of the camera as it tracks movement (or when you control it) is noticeable, but unobtrusive and unlikely to stir a baby unless they are a VERY light sleeper. I didn’t notice my partner turning it around to check I was ok one day, so it is very quiet.
The app could be a little better to accommodate for parents so that two people can have full access to settings at all times, but a shared access setup does still allow for basic controls for a second user, you just can’t change settings such as turning on/off alerts without asking the main user to do so for you.
We use a 32GB SD card as we don’t feel the need for cloud storage, and this gives us around 2 week’s worth of recording we can go back through, which is plenty for most I believe.
As the app requires an account to be set up, this enables you to have easy access to what your camera can see even when you aren’t home, and we sometimes use this when out for walks when motion is detected to see what’s going on. The quality of streaming and the response of the controls to move around the room is surprisingly good from away from home, too!
We are very happy with the camera, and cannot wait to use it for what we got it for, and will happily get another one if/when we need it.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersUpdate:
After the initial bad experience and return of the camera (see review below), Nooie team contacted me as they where worried about the customer experience. They have sent me a new camera for free and allow me to test supporting me to resolve the issues.

    There where principally 3 issues:

    The Alexa Skill:
In Android Play Store, use the “Nooie app”, not the “Nooie Cam app”, and for Alexa there is few skills that show up when you search for Nooie, be sure to select “nooie” skill instead of “nooie cam” or “nooie home”.

    The SD Card:
I tried a transcend, integral and toshiba SD cards of 32Gb without luck. The Nooie team sent me a Sandisk microSDHC UHS-I that worked on the first try. Like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-microSDHC-Memory-Adapter-Performance/dp/B073JWXGNT To access the SD card, you need to drive the camera to the center and up using the app, the SD card slot, is right below the lenses.

    The Wifi:
As most of smart devices, the WIFI chip is not the latest. You need to use a 2.4g Band network configured as 802.11b/G, instead of the newer 802.11N/AN mode (some routers calls this Legacy mode). My router allows me to create several SSID, so I have kept a SSID network on the fastest mode for phones and computers and created a new SSID for this device. Once this is set it connects very quick. I also needed to remove the “802.11w Management Frame Protection ” and ” 802.11r Fast Transition” on the wifi used by the camera.

Updated to only 4 stars as there is as you can see still issues with the WIFI, and the camera only allows the stored video to be accessed by the main owner. If you plan to give access to other family members thru the app, they will only be able to see the live feed, not the stored videos and not able to change configuration.

    Original Review:
The camera has a slow and weak WiFi. To get it connected, I had to slow down the speeds and reduce security features.
The SD-Card wont work, 2 cards and it either says damaged SD card or no SD card connected. I tried the troubleshooting, was a waste of saturday afternoon trying to make it work. I think they do this so you subscribe.
Won’t work with Alexa, the skill is outdated.

    Updated, great budget camera.

Bought on a whim as the price seemed too good to be true. Was delivered next day having been ordered at 8pm.

Unboxed and impressed with the simplicity but effectiveness of the packaging with everything being individually wrapped and well protected.

Connected up in the house and tested. App was easy to sign in to, camera set up and then advised a firmware update was available. Downloaded f/w without fuss and updated camera. Factory reset as suggested and re setup again without issue.

Moved camera to garage location and installed in an inverted mode, easy to flip image using in app controls. Very impressed with both the daytime and night vision picture quality. Sound from camera is adequate, audio too camera isn’t the best quality but as I would only be using this to scare of anyone who shouldn’t be on my property I’m sure it could get the message across

Overall impressed and considering purchasing more.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Userswhen i found out we were having a second child i decided to check through the things we had from our first to see if they are still ideal this time around, steriliser etc, then i came to the over priced well known brand monitor that cost me well over 200! decided to stop working a while back and then i found it was a well known issue. this time i decided i will look for A) Something on a Budget and B) possibly something that would work with some of my other gadgets/tech – i didn’t hold much hope for getting both but boy did the Nooie 360 blow my expectations out the water! pocket friendly price and exceptional value for money AND quick delivery by Amazon and works with the Echo Show. already had a Show 8 but ordered another for the bedroom. works seamlessly with those and even more impressive: it also works with our fire tv stick!!! easy to use app on the phone and the amazing follow option allows us to have it mounted in the kids room using the flip image option and the included disc to ceiling mount the camera for when the older one gets up we can also see him making his way around the room. we are so please with this camera we have promptly ordered another for downstairs when the baby is asleep in another room. Great Product, Great price and Great compatibility with our current tech.

versatile and the best baby camera for value for money

This is a really surprisingly well built little device. The app is great (however make sure you have the most up to date version to connect to your camera) and easy to use. The quality of the picture is brilliant over wifi, and the pan and tilt is responsive. The range of movement on the vertical is a little limited but is good enough. I’ve also managed to invite family members to view the camera and they were impressed at how intuitive it is to access. The accessories seem high quality, and there is even an included USB power adopter and right angled micro usb cable which is a nice touch. If I were to complain about something… the Google Assistant integration isn’t great. It often doesn’t recognise the command the first time, and when it does connect to my chromecast the longest i’ve managed to get video out of it is about 3 seconds. Most other times its a grey screen with ‘Smart Video Camera’ across the middle. Oh well, it works perfectly on my android devices, so no biggie! Thoroughly recommended otherwise.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersGood quality packaging and a nice solid feel to the product. After downloading the App, it was an easy step by step process to set the camera up. In my case, the camera then immediately updated its firmware, which took a few minutes. During this time the camera was not useable but the process required no interaction from me and afterward the camera powered down and back on again without issue.

There are three levels of sensitivity for both movement and sound alerts. I’ve found the sensitivity okay on low and was enough to be triggered by my cat. 🙂 Overall, pleased with the purchase and it will be even better when the Alexa Skill & integration is supported within the UK in the coming months.

Golden Review Award: 114 From Our UsersAlthough this is sold as a baby monitor, a wireless camera is just a camera so it doesn’t have to be used just for monitoring babies.

I’ve bought it so I can keep an eye on my three dogs downstairs when I’m working hard upstairs. If they go to the back door they’re telling me they need a toilet break, but I can’t always sit downstairs all day with them just in case.

This camera allows me to monitor the door area and use motion detection to alert me when they’ve gone there.

I’ve had a good play around with this tidy little unit. I think it looks really good. I probably won’t need to use the night vision mode since evenings aren’t a problem with the dogs. Good to know it’s there though, just in case.

I do like the two way audio. It’s pretty good quality considering the cost of the unit. In my case being able to tell the dogs that I’m coming downstairs to take them for a walk can stop them having an accident. They understand the term “walkies” perfectly! It sounds daft, but being able to tell them I’m on my way can stop an accident. They seem able to hold it when they know they’re about to be taken out so the audio is a nice little feature.

It also has motion tracking, which I will probably never use in all fairness, but if I wanted to see what they were up to during the day (if I’m out) it might be fun. For my intended use it has more features than I’ll ever need.

The pack comes with a mount and screws so you can mount it on the ceiling. I don’t think I’d want to do that myself, but I can see that it’s a neater solution than having it on a counter top. I guess it depends on how tidy you are – in the example photo taken from the camera (the one with my staring into the camera) I’ve had to crop off the right hand edge to avoid showing my messy clothing drying on my radiator! But you get the idea, you can mount it in different ways to suit your own needs.

Now I’ve had chance to install it (took about 12 minutes including updating the firmware and reading the instructions twice – I was a bit eager the first time!) I’m quite tempted to buy another couple and use them as security cameras to monitor the outside of the house through the windows. They’re certainly affordable enough..

I’m not sure whether it’s a big deal that they only work on 2.4ghz networks. I have a dual frequency router so it’s not an issue and I would doubt that it’s a problem for most of us. If you only use 5ghz networks then you’ll be out of luck with this, but I don’t imagine many people will be affected by that.

I’ve done what most people would do, I guess, and played around on my phone swiping up and down and left and right to move the camera. It’s fascinating, but as I’ve said for my use it’s not something I’d really need. Just a motion detection when any of the dogs gets near the back door is plenty good enough for my purposes.

Looks pretty cute and it works, plus you can share access to it if you wa

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is my second camera and though the picture quality of Nooie camera is sharp during day time.
It takes few seconds for the infra light to set in to power the night mode.
The camera paired up straight away during first setup but later Unswitching and switching the camera back on it started to fiddle around .
The biggest issue I faced was pairing the camera to the Nooie app
As the camera boot up , it asks for the firmware update and updates itself to the most recent patches, but then paired up straight away.
The 360 deg motion is not as sensitive , but for the price, it’s impressive feature.
Build quality of Nooie camera is good.

Bought this new product to add to my collection of Nooie cams. This product is up to it’s usual high standard that Nooie continue to deliver. For the price you really cannot argue with its 360 motion with motion detect, night vision and 2 way audio. They advertise it more as a baby cam but you could literally use it for any indoor task such as a security camera for a shop.

This is mounted in the usual way should you choose to roof mount it in the corner of a room or you could simple have it sat upright at an out of reach location.

I love how you can add the camera to the existing app with ease making it very simple to view all cameras in one place. Connection was even simpler with this cam, simply plug it in and it powers on by it’s self. Then load up the APP and select “add new camera” scan the QR code with the new camera and that is it, all up and running. It still needs to be connected on a 2.4ghz freq but you will find that most modern routers have 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz enabled as default so you should not have to go messing in the settings.

The biggest advantage of this design is that the power cable is actually detachable, unlike the outdoor product where it is fixed into the camera (likely for waterproof purposes). The advantage with having a removable cable is that if the cable is not long enough to reach the power source (as its only a few meters long) you could buy a longer cable and connect that instead. The ourdoor camera has a short fixed cable so you need to have it near a direct power source. I did try using a USB extender cable but it seems that the power draw suffers at the join of the two cables and thus the drop in power prevents the camera from working so with the removable cable on this camera i won’t have this issue.

I look forward to the next release from Nooie, i am hoping they bring out a cam door bell soon as that would complete my required collection. There is nothing worse than having to use two different pieces of software for two different brands of cam.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHaving only purchased this and starting using it 3 days ago, I can say myself and my wife are really impressed with this.

I had not heard about the company before so I did do my research and when I saw they have been at CES 2020 then I knew it was a company you can believe in.

The Night-vision is excellent quality and the motion detection with alerts are amazing too and very sensitive which is a good thing but you can alter it in settings. You have two options for recording – SD Card or Cloud which uses Amazon’s servers and are encrypted for improved security.

We use our iPad as the main monitor and its great that it stays on the screen and doesn’t turn off so will always been on all night if you require it. We also have it setup on our phones too.

Overall so good so far and have recommended it already to family. I would absolutely be interested in purchasing more products from Nooie and believe we will continue seeing amazing things to come from this company.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersAfter receiving this camera I was surprised by just how small the box was. It’s very subtle but that doesn’t take away from it’s ability to perform.

The camera is aesthetically pleasing, very contemporary looking and would look at home just about anywhere, it can be mounted using the plastic bracket and included fixings, but to be honest wouldn’t look out of place on a desktop or bookcase.

Once I’ve turned it on (interesting to see a beige USB cable which fits very snugly to the unit and clearly a lot of thought has gone into it) the camera sprung to life, and I was surprised by just how quiet the motor is when moving, a big plus for people who are using the camera as a baby monitor. I’ve got plenty of PTZ cameras and their motors are quiet loud, this is very muted. It also has a lovely little jingle when turning it on!

It’s very easy to pair with a mobile phone (I used my android) we were up and running in seconds. I was asked to create an account which with some camera systems can get really intrusive asking a lot of unnecessary and unnerving details, this needs your email and a password. Job done.

The picture quality is very clear and replicates the real world well, the audio quality using the speaker on the device is crystal clear and matches tone which is lovely if you’re wanting to calm your child with the sound of your voice. The microphone is pretty good at picking up most sounds, I tried to replicate the sound of a stirring child and it did well capturing it.

One great aspect is that if you have multiple devices you can have individual settings for each, meaning you can have motion tracking on some and not others, motion detection and sound detection, which will alert you when motion has been found or a sound has been heard above a certain level. These can also be scheduled so it won’t alert you if you know there’s going to be movement at say during the morning when people are wandering about the house.

It features a micro SD card slot to record pictures and video to, which happily supported my 128Gb card. I was fascinated to see the micro SD card went just below the lens of the camera, really cool and will keep it safe and secure ensuring it doesn’t get taken out by accident. Once the SD card has been inserted the camera will record to it. These previous recordings can then be selected from a timeline that appears below the camera stating the day and month, selecting one of these allows you to see recordings from that day. A feature I’ve not seen implemented this well before.

Once the motion or sound detection is activated it will alert you through a push notification on the application and once selected will allow you to go to that specific time/date on the application, very handy indeed.

Overall I’m very pleased with the device and it will fulfil my purposes, hopefully once we have children it can serve another purpose too.

A charming, subtle camera which would fit in anywhere!
