To download your Norton product, follow these detailed steps:
- From your web browser, go to norton.com/enroll.
- Click Sign in.If you do not have a Norton account, click create a new account and complete the sign-up process.
- In the Get Started page, click Enter A New Product Key.
- Type the product key and click >. Your subscription begins when you enter the 25-character key found on your product card or order confirmation email.
- Read the License and Services Agreement and click Agree.
- In the Annual Automatic Renewal Authorization page, update your billing address and credit card details.
- Read the Subscription and Automatic Renewal Payment Authorization and click Turn on Automatic Renewal or Start Subscription.
- Click Agree & Download.
- Follow the instructions displayed to Run or Save the Downloader file. If you save the file, make sure that you double-click the file from the saved location after the download is completed.Once the Norton installer is completed, your product is downloaded, installed, and activated automatically. Your device displays its current protection status and additional software can be installed from within your Norton account.
Common mistakes when entering product key:
-Spaces in the product key will cause an error.
-Make sure you are entering license information for the specific product you are using. License information for one Norton product is not interchangeable with another Norton product.
-If you still see a message indicating incorrect or invalid licensing information, verify that you typed the license information exactly as shown. Some characters (such as the number 0 and the letter O) can look very similar.

A really good price compared to direct purchase or in some shops. A bit annoying that you have to sign up to subscribe for auto renewal as was caught out with this before so I just went in and cancelled the renewal the following day!
Regularly user of Norton products for many years but always buy on Amazon.
Tried ebay (once) and was sold a pup – Chinese version.
Becoming slightly more complicated to install but check instructions and plentiful advice found online…
I’ve used Norton for several years. It’s a reliable product, but their new pricing policy puts the onus on you to cancel the automatic renewal. If you forget, then this year’s 13.99 (for 5 devices) will increase to 84.99 next year! However, it’s possible to keep buying the 1 year pre-paid subscription which is currently just 13.99.
First thing that’s strange- card details but you can set up notification next one is vpn sometimes connection is poor and the most important other app offers much more for same price.
I’ve used Norton security software over many years and never been let down. It used to be ‘bloated’ and slow down the functioning of my PC. Nowadays its much more efficient and probably up there with the best, although I must admit I’ve never tried any of the other top ones such as Kaspersky or Bitdefender. I suppose it’s just a brand I trust. Now for the but…
If you buy this, you will be asked to log in, give your card details and accept auto renewal. This is fine if you wish to pay 86 in a years time. I personally think its a dirty trick, so just remember to log in to your account afterwards and uncheck the autorenewal box. You won’t have to remember to do this because to be fair, Norton let you know that your year will soon be up.
Buy another from Amazon, let your subscription run down and on the last day re-register with your new passcode.
I also have it running on 2 Android phones and an iPad as well as my PC.
Nortons 360 does protect you from websites which might be dangerous to use and it also shows which sites are safe to use.

well worth the price as long as you cancel the auto renew or it will cost a fortune.
I started with this product several years ago and it is good.
Norton charged 89 for a two year renewal the first time.
Then the charged 89 for a one year renewal. This year it was 94 for a one year renewal.
They charge renewal 30 days before it is due (naughty) and then you have to try to claim it back.
So be sure to switch off automatic renewal, and buy again from Amazon.
Unfortunately the Amazon code can not be used as a subscription renewal on an existing account, but it is quick and simple to set up another subscription on the same account.
I recommend this product at this price.

Norton make decent home PC security software that’s priced well on Amazon. It performs well in the background of PC without hogging resources and seems to prevent any virus or malware issues.
The only downside with Norton products is the ridiculous auto-renewal costs which are pegged around 3 times higher than buying a new version.

I have always used Norton for a number of years always getting from anywhere but Norton. Always found that all I had to do was put in the new key. This as others have said no longer works and you have to put in some payment details. I like others did not like this but found that in my account I must have given my details at some point and although these are way out of date was still accepted. I will still be cancelling auto payment but it looks like Norton will still retain your details even though they will become invalid in time.
Easy to install genuine Norton product, far cheaper than the ridiculously expensive auto-renewal price from Norton direct.
Norton is vv important to make all items like mobiles, laptops, computers etc feel safe to use. It warns you if u try to use unsafe sites. Can be a bit faffy to install, but not too bad. Worth it. Object to ddm but u can cancel easily anytime, which I did and then got a good deal near expiry time.
I was already using Norton 360 Deluxe on my desktops and mobile phone but baulked at Norton’s high online renewal price. As is so often the case, they dropped the renewal price but by this time I had already bought my software from Amazon – I opted for the product key to be sent to me via post so it arrived along with another Prime delivery so no additional packaging required. After I’d entered the 20-digit product key, downloading the software was a doddle [which I did today, the day before my existing software expired]. I’ve used Norton [previously Norton Symantec] for at least a decade and have no issues.
Bought this in a rush from Amazon nas thought my previous subscription had expired (Norton gave me another free 60 days) but I am annoyed with myself as could have got the same for 5 less on the same Amazon site. I always use Norton as have generally found it to be the best. My advice is shop carefully though to get the best price possible. Renewal with Norton itself is always more expensive than shopping around.
Got this to replace my current subscription with Norton which had just expired. The renewal cost was a bit pricey for me, but when I saw this sale price on Amazon for the exact same product, I had to get it. It is a sound, comprehensive piece of software which will give maximum protection to your tech.

Changed from another well known security provider who hassled the life out of me for the whole of the last year to turn on renewal ……….. even though I had bought the 2 year protection!!!
Excellent value and SO MUCH CHEAPER than letting Norton auto-renew each year. Superb price that offers great protection across 5 devices, takes up very little resource so runs in the background with very little lag or slowing down of my PC.
It’s alright for quite a few devices but it isn’t good at all for my MacBook in anyway but it does seem to work a little for my iPhone. Not an Apple friendly application.
I tracked down a couple of websites for independent laboratories that test AV products. There’s half a dozen or a dozen that are top grade and Norton is one of them. I have been happily using Norton for quite a few years now.
You do need to keep an eye on the automatic renewal situation. If you don’t, you’ll regret it.
This is a good product for the money and is quick to install if you have a previous version installed as you can save your settings when you uninstall it. You have to give your payment details in order to complete the installation,which is outrageous, so as Norton can put you on auto renewal at over 4 times the price, this is simply sharp practice in my opinion, but you can easily log in to your A/C and untick this option before renewal time.

I had a previous version installed which ran out, I liked the fact it was easy to use across my browsers and files. it comes without of extras and when I bought my new version I just entered in the product code under my account and it carried on without any problems. It is cheaper to buy new versions every year than to subscribe unfortunately but I always check around for the best price anyway.

For an IT dummy I find it has a very vague interface so that the user is often unaware of the install state of the function in hand and whether more user input is required.
Live update used to auto update straight after boot. Now live update needs to be user selected and initiated

Just remember to cancel the subscription before the end of the first year and you won’t be hit with the high price of a second year sub..
Then go and buy at discount another copy on Black Friday or prime day deals.. repeat the sign up.

Covers a lot of viruses and spyware. Well worth buying but have to buy a new one each year. Covers PC, tablet and phones.
Unused to date (I am waiting for the subscription to expire on the existing Nortons 3600 but I am sure it will be excatly what it says on the box, as it is the same item>
If feel really safe when using this used it for a lot of years it only gets better. Got it at a really good price so happy. Easy to use, only thing I don’t like is you have to register for automatic renewal which you can turn off as it’s cheaper to but from Amazon.
Renewed my out of date one ,half the price Norton wanted. Dislike you have to put credit card to activate, but was mentioned on the box

When you connect to a public website software alerts you to turn on their fast VPN to protect your privacy and sensitive information.
Firewall looks over your internet connection and reports apps suspicious activity.
There is a cloud drive for your backups.
One more thing is a password manager that allows you to generate unique passwords and store them in a secure main password protected vault accessible from other devices with the same Norton license but also on your iOS and Android mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Easy to use and it’s like delegating to a professional. I find the password generator and vault is especially useful.

I would just like to make people aware that this is not a scam but you can get scam very easily trying to redeem your code in a search engine it comes up with third-party websites who are pretending to be Nortons I nearly got scammed by someone pretending to be Nortons as I entered the details on the website they came up with an error saying it could not be installed on my computer and that someone will call me from Norton is Customer Services but when they contacted me they said they needed to take remote control of my PC to see what the problem was when they done this they tried selling me some other software and asking for my bank details which then I figured out that it was a scam Norton security then help me to sort all my problems out on the computer and got it all sorted. So if you were going to redeem it make sure you get it off the Amazon website and go directly to back website as I figured out afte

So far – so good, bearing in mind it has only been installed for a few weeks. To be fair I bought the same product last year and remained ‘safe’ for twelve months.
I have been using this security for a couple of months now and overall, I am quite pleased with the product. The security is good and I feel it protects my device well. The program on both my computer and mobile phone is easy to set up, use and maintain. When I first started using this product I did I have to input my banking details which is something I did not want to do, nor did I think was necessary however, I had no choice but to do it in order to use the product. I have been able to turn off automatic renewal so hopefully, I will not be charged for a subscription when this current one comes to its end. One massive issue that I do have with this product is the VPN that comes with it. Firstly, it was working fine on my computer for the first couple of weeks but now, it will no longer connect. Secondly, I have recently purchased a new phone and immediately had issues with disconnecting from the WiFi. I am quite tech savvy and after a lot of investigating, my conclusions is that the VPN was causing the issue. I booted the phone in safe mode and deleted the VPN and have not had any issues since. Overall, I do like this product and I think it is decent for the price however, if the use of a VPN is important to you then I would not recommend this. The product has good advantages, but it does also have some big pitfulls.
I consider Norton to be the best Internet security in that it operates constantly in the background without interrupting what I am doing albeit notifying important security incidents and blocking processes

Paid 9 instead of 25 if you go direct, so very happy with this purchase. I’m using this on my MacBoook Pro so it doesn’t have some of the features you get on PC. That doesn’t bother me at all as some of the additional features I would just class as ‘bloatware’ and I don’t want them anyway. Installation was relatively straight forward but the steps where you have to grant permissions in settings might confuse a none ‘power user’ so this could be better. Also the feature which scans for duplicate / similar files concerns me greatly – I just want to turn this feature off and forget about it to be honest! Other than these two things I’m happy with the software.

Purchased as it worked out better value than renewing my subcription thru Norton. Easy to use the code supplied to renew existing protections, and updates everything to provide the safety I need. I haven’t tried all the options available that could optimise my system. I haven’t noticed any performace issues. Norton seems to work very well in the background.
Norton tried to charge me 79- 99 for the same item on auto renew, till i told them no its too much and cancelled, bought this and did it myself for around 13 quid, but they wont let you install it without turning on auto renew which i had to do, but once installed i turned it back off ,problem solved.
I’ve been using this product for a good few years now and its served me very well. With no problems. Has all the modern conveniences that is needed in this digital tech world. And more so now with the new norm of working from home for most people. As most people have stated that although the description says “auto-renewal”, there is always an option to turn it off and it does tell you how once you’ve install and setup an account (if you haven’t got one already). Again, as most people have stated it is best to buy it brand new, just as long as you run your current subscription out so you don’t lose out on days. I bought mine a couple days before it was due to run out and on the next day I used the new product key and I was back up and running in less than 5 mins. All in all a happy and digitally safe customer 🙂
This product key gave my laptops a virus which I had to have professionally removed at an additional cost. The upside was Norton gave me some subscription ffor the trouble. This was the first time this has ever happened I have always used Norton and will continue to but via online subscription no more product keys.
6 months on and it seems to be doing what its supposed to do. Easy to install and does the job. Will certainly purchase again in the future.
I’ve been using Norton for years and never had any issues. The only thing I don’t like about it is the renewal price asked by Norton. It tends to be twice as expensive than buying it from 3rd party. That’s why I always buy it from Amazon instead of using automatic renewal from Norton.

Great product but do not like the new forced sign up to autorenewal. Who pays full price for these products. You buy when on offer. Wouldn’t be so bad if Norton give the best deals to their loyal customers, but they don’t. I’ve always found this product for less elsewhere. So if they want auto renewal with customers, offer great deals. Otherwise stop this stupid practice and allow us to use the product we’ve purchased without strings attached.

Even if you don’t use the VPN and backup, this is a dirt cheap way to get Norton on 5 machines for a year. Couple Norton with another AV such as Avast or similar and you cut down on the chances of dodgies. If you want some basic protection and don’t have the knowledge to fettle, just install adn activate, and don’t click on links from Nigerian Princes, HOT singles in your area and the like…
Great price. Always use Norton but I admit to having a bit of a huff installing. Anyway suceeded then spent a while clicking & discovered the VPN is not automatic – you have to turn it on if you want Norton’s extra secure connection. Works as expected and sure enough I will be looking to renew in due course.

So much cheaper than renewing, which is a scandalous price. This is over 50% cheaper for the same thing. Works well and you get a VPN thrown in that I use daily.
First of all this is not a SCAM as other reviewers are posting on here as i have bought this fantastic value digitial download for quite a few years now and I have just purchased another one and installed it with no problems.
Yes you do need to give them Credit/Debit details and Yes that is for the Auto Renewal by Norton at the end of the years subscription? However all you need to do is TURN OFF Auto renewal at your leisure, even straight after installing it, and delete your card details if you have saved them on the Activation setup!
Some comments state that you have to pay an additional fee, this is not true as long as you install this properly and you dont click on the renew button when installing the software, if you do just close webpage.

Norton arrived OK but still waiting for the password by post so had to buy another one 1 and download from Norton not got any post yet for the code so got a spare one 5 device sitting on the desk
As with any AV they are all good in there own ways. For price and up to 5 devices can’t go wrong. Easy to use but my main problem is that even though I have paid for product and license when you are installing initially they want your card details for “automatic renewal next year” which I think ain’t right. They do say you can cancel before renewal but I thinks its a cheeky way to keep you and once they have your details who knows..

Installation of this version of Norton was not without its problems. In preparation I had uninstalled the previous version, but on loading the new version was linking itself to the pevious version through hidden traces which caused some confusion as to the validity of the new version. Problem eventually solved by a ‘deep’ uninstall of all traces of Norton and the reinstalling after a new start.
Working well with protection active when Coved19 messages use the dreaded word – v i r u s in the heading promptly places the messages in quarantine.
Using one of these with a pass key can be difficult to install you need to find the correct page on the Norton website. Be warned they ask for your credit card details for next years renewal to be able to use this product so remember to remove it at a later date or it will cost you a lot next year.
Had to get help from Norton chat to install the VPN, but the representative was excellent when he “took over” my PC to delete things to make things work.

I just wish the Norton Utilities was still part of the antivirus package.
I had to delete my last version (2019) of Norton before it would install the new one. I would have expected the new version to do that automatically. Otherwise as expected.
Have used nortn for nearly 10 years now, still not sure why you have to go to amazon or other selling platforms to get it cheaper than from norton itself, being said, amazon do great deals which is why i bought it on here. Good vpn too for added peace of mind.
The software was easy to order, the cost was reasonable and i was helped by my daughter on the installation which made it easier. I am very happy with the operating function.

Have used Norton for all the years I have had computers and, hope I do not jinx anything, had no virus problems to date. Not exactly straightforward to get it onto my devices but all seems OK at present.
Have bought Norton for many years now, buying from Amazon is not much of a price difference from anywhere else, if your buying Norton you know what it does and it does it well.
Have always trusted Norton and had no problems. Dislike automatic renewal as too expensive. Always cancel and purchase discounted online. Norton needs to sort this as feels like rip off. It is a pain registering afresh but worth the savings.
It just works with little tinkering needed, though you can do that if you wish. It also includes a VPN service that should help to protect you and your family these days. A Great all round program that does everything well, nothing to complain about, except you might want to turn off the auto-re-subscribe feature that will kick in after a years use.
Satisified that it does the job it’s meant to do, but would not pay full price for it. Also, ‘auto renew’ feature should be disabled to avoid paying over the odds for the next year’s subscription. Yet to seek technical advice, so therefore no rating for that aspect.

A repeat purchase. I didn’t read description properly and have had to sign up to an automatic renewal in order to use this but can cancel if no longer required next year. Note to self, pay attention! In any case, a great deal for less than 20 and covers up to 5 devices.
The interface is a bit dated but a fresh simplified view has helped alleviate this. For most power users however the new start screen is best disabled. Overall it provides very unobtrusive protection, low resource usage and remains one of the best deals especially for protecting multiple devices. The addition of private VPN is welcome, ome downside is that you do now have to sign up to automatic renewals, these can however be turned off.
Total Security for my Internet connected devices. Running Superbly at the moment, satisfied with the performance. However, I am noticing when my Laptop starts-up, for about 5 minutes, that its resources are heavily utilized. I believe it is Norton causing this !!
