Decent for the price
This is my second one of these and this brand is definitely better quality than my first. I find the lighter (black) ball useless as it doesn’t have the right weight to bounce back. The red ball is slightly too heavy so I prefer the red ball from my previous one. I would advise to wear goggles when using this as the ball is not the problem but the string can give you a very painful sting and if it hits your eyes you are in excruciating pain. Otherwise decent quality product with a good headband.

This is great. I bought the pack of 4 which provides different levels of difficulty in controlling/punching the ball and I’m already really enjoying using them. The only negative I can think of so far is that it isn’t abundantly clear to start off with which colours correspond to the level difficulty – although once you’ve gotten used to using it after a few days that starts to become a bit clearer anyway. Top product, very happy, had never used anything like this before but would happily recommend.

OK, For a cheap piece of Gym Equipment, this is amazing value for money! and immensely satisfying as time progresses and you get better and better! I needed something like this to progress with my Boxing. When you first unwrap this and try and use it, you think to your self, “Well this is stupid, its barely unuseable!” However I then thought, ahhh perhaps its my total lack of coordination with this type of boxing exercise! As you improve and start to pull a few good Rallies of its very immersing and very satisfying! Then you progress to the red ball, and can receive quite a smack in the face if you miss! LOLS! My only gripe, is i really wish the manufacturer would have put a little elastication into the headband, as there is no give in it. However i still award it 5 stars across the board!
A few good "must-knows"
*The red ball is heavier, therefore travels slower, and so is much easier to hit for beginners.
*Just make sure you cut the elastic to around the same length as your reach.
*Be sure to secure it tightly to your head otherwise when doing turning routines, the headpiece will swivel around.
*Keep your guard up when using red; I’ve been caught in the eye a few times
*Not the best way to train striking, but definitely good for keeping your accuracy up and keeping your front striking somewhat on-point (especially during lockdown)
*Good tool for active rest periods between rounds/sets
*Be sure to tie the elastic tightly; if the ball flies off, you may just lose a table lamp

Great little tool, once you get going it’s good fun and you will work up a sweat and have a good workout. Would recommend some gloves or wraps as the ball is quite tough and I ended up cutting my knuckle after a while.

Bought as a last minute stocking filler for my 13 year old son. Well it was the cheapest present he got but by far the best. He has played with it all day and got the hang of it quite quickly. Absolutely loves it. Should have bought one for his dad too! Not sure how long it will last.

I’ve bought this as a stocking filler for my 15 year old stepson. The box was ripped badly, looking like it had been previously opened but the product seems ok. You get what you pay for.

Hours of fun for a very cheap price. This is a very cheaply made product, so don’t expect anything high tech or great quality. Its a ball on an elastic band attached to a headband.
Like all things that are rewarding you have to work at it. I took up boxing in middle age and have been doing it for 2.5 years. This product is great. I use it with some cheap thin gloves or bare knuckles. To begin with it was hard. I have a go every day in the lounge. Cut the elastic to your arm length. Punch it low and with practice work upwards with more force. Teaches accuracy and spatial awareness plus blocks! If the elastic breaks buy a bit more. So from a real if unskilled inexperienced boxer I recommended it. My coach told me to get one and I’m glad I did. I’m going to try to get as good as the guy in the video. It will take time but it doesn’t seem impossible as I’ve got significantly better in just a few weeks and I’m old and slow!

I think we’ve established that you’re not going to look your most aesthetically pleasing in this in fact I’m pretty sure the other say a neighbour of mine thought it was a ball gag. And YET despite this, this little device is very effective at getting you active and provides a super simple warm up / warm down for the arms if you’re a boxer or you do some form of exercise involving boxing.
If you can get over wear a ball dangling from your head (because that is what it is, a rubber ball attached unceremoniously to a piece of nylon that you Velcro around your head) it’s a whole ton of fun and you’ll be at it for long periods at a time.

So good for reflex working, and after a while you can really feel your muscles working out. Took it on holidays and used it under the tropical sun. A must have.

I love this boxing reflex ball it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought! I honestly am the type of person to not have any motivation for exercise but this adds fun and challenge to it so I can’t get enough, and therefore can’t thank you enough. You get two balls, one lightweight and one heavier, I use the heavier one most of the time and it’s great fun!

Helpful product to improve reflexes.
I bought this product with the purpose of improving my reflection. I work behind a desk for long hours staring at a screen, found out my reflexes were a bit slow, this product is very helpful, after using once a day I noticed a slight improvement abd of course since it forces me to move around, it helps a lot with my mobility.

This product I bought for lockdown where I didn’t have access to speedbags or heavy bag and it has definitely served its purpose! The ball can be quiet heavy for a beginner but once you get into it, it’s pretty good!

Clever way to get fit.
Firstly its great fun! Addictive as well, I try to see how many times i can hit it consecutively as well as improving my left jabs. My reflexes are improving and Its a great workout, does make u sweat but overall it ticks all boxes. Would highly recommend this product.

Great little gadget to improve speed and reflexes
Using this as either a warm up before a session or to cool down with. Nicely made and the ball is quite hard so if you are not use to hitting something on with your fists then might be worth using wraps or even boxing gloves to start with!
Good, but use padded gloves
Works as it should, just use some padded gloves as the ball hurts your knuckles after using for more than 5 mins. Good product though, will develop accuracy and hand speed if used continuously. Not easy to keep it going at first.

A definite knack to using this
I bought this after reading reviews and seeing how they work on Youtube. I like the product, but I’m still very much a novice. I imagine that when this skill is mastered, it provides all sorts of benefits. Relaxation. Focus. General sharpness. Bare knuckle, the ball is quite hard. However, I felt this added to the experience. I have had a few painful elastic face twangs which I can’t seem to eliminate, but I can see the value in having this product in collection of fitness gadgets.

this product needs a lot of experience to use. I would recommend purchasing product with multi ball sizes to build up your skill level . this red ball is for experienced users, but it definitely works with practice and patience.

This is a great product for improving your accuracy but not so much fitness. The only problem is it does injure your nucleus as there is a pit of plastic on the ball regardless I’ve only found this after a couple of days hits them
It’s a great piece of training equipment.
This is a great product. It’s highly addictive and good fun. I bought it on impulse after consuming a light liquid beverage and watching Rocky II, one Saturday evening.
I haven’t put an eye out yet, which is good. However, I’m not a boxer and have never boxed so can’t comment on it’s benefits for that noble sport. Probably best asking a boxer for their thoughts.
Check out the YouTube for some great tricks you can learn through time. And for me methinks that will probably coincide with my retirement, in about 20 years or so.
Could be better for the price
The connection method to the headband could be a lot better as it just ties on and then flys off every so often unlike cheaper ones that come with a clip. It does what it supposed to do

Bought it to improve my hand eye coordination. Wish there was a bit of instruction as to how long the string should be. I kinda just tied it off where it worked for me. I’m getting better with it as time goes on and have noticed improved coordination (I think, I hope I’m not imagining that! Lol). Doing it for 10 mins a day has also helped with my anxiety, that small amount of time to focus on the exercise helps calm me down. Will be purchasing for family members too.

Bought as a gift for my son, very easy to use, is exactly as described.
The black ball is really springy, light and is for beginners, you can squeese it flat and could give it to a toddler and not have to worry at all. the black ball still has a little bit of give but is heavier and while still being padded, none of the balls could hurt anyone if you got hit in the face with it which is a good thing.
the head band fits well and stays on my head while in use which i would hope it would.

Bought this for my bf for Christmas as he’s getting back into boxing and he loves it says his coordination has gotten much better. A simple piece of equipment but works perfectly, the only thing I will say is that the box it comes in isn’t the most professional looking

No instructions on how it should be set up, plenty videos on YouTube though, very advisable to wear wraps to protect the knuckles as I went to work and people thought I’d been fighting, make sure you start slow as I got a rubber ball in the face and I thought I’d bust my nose, once you get the rhythm going though it’s really addictive which also gets your heart rate going.
Over all I’d say it’s great for getting your heart rate going providing you stick with it and if you are a boxer then it would be great for the reflexes.

The product is amazing, it’s simple and easy to use. My only complaint is that there are no instructions, so I had to look up how to assemble it. The length of the rope should measure the same as the distance from your wrist to your shoulder. The elastic is very stretchy and fun to use.
This is brilliant. What a great idea. As a beginner I had to shorten the elastic just by wrapping it around the headband and I imagine as I get more pro with this I’ll be lengthening it. It’s easier to hit wearing boxing gloves. I found the lower down on my forehead I wear the band, the less likely I get hit in the face with the ball. I’m addicted. My cat likes watching it too.

The product it’s ok for the price. However after a week of moderate use (10-15 mins per day) I could see the elastic cord deteriorating. It’s easy to replace, but I suspect the new one won’t last too long either. Also, the ball is harder than I thought it would be and it was hurting my knuckles. I’d recommend to use it with gloves or some sort of protection.
I’ve had this for a week now and its a really great way to relieve stress and get some light exercise in. I use it a couple times each day for 5 minutes or so. Punch it quite lightly and try to get a good rhythm going. As a beginner, if you throw power shots at it the ball will swing wildly away at speed and you’ll end up with it wrapping around your body as you miss the follow up punches.
So, it’s best to practise using fairly light punches to begin with. You may need to trim the chord to your desired length. They say that a good length is to have the ball hanging to around your belly button or just below. Experiment with different lengths to see what works for you best and then either trim the unneeded elastic or tie it back so that it doesn’t hang down your face. Fun light exercise, good for stress relief and concentration and very inexpensive.
