So with this great dash cam I now have a video back up if required to go with my phone call if required.
Works perfectly well all day haven’t looked at the footage on playback but the screen image is sharp and clear and with a very wide camera angle I am get a good portion of the road ahead covered

After the window mount melted and snapped off, I emailed the company for a new window mount. The customer services is exceptional and my dash cam is proudly back on my windscreen.
I have been using the dashcam now for one month-ish and I can say that I am very happy with the product. The camera seems strong enough and it was easy to install in my car. The long cigarette cable provided enabled me to put the wire inside the rubber, making all the installation clean. I would have preferred a long USB cable as it would have worked better for my car.
The dashcam turns on and off automatically when I turn on or off the car. It makes me not be worried about forgetting the switching the cam on. On this matter, three times the dashcam did not turn on when I turned on the engine. I had to turn the engine off and turn it on again to have a response from the cam. I am still monitoring it so, it is early to say if it is an issue with the product. It is the reason why I am giving it four stars.
The cam produces good imagines. I would say that during the night it would be difficult to recognise the car’s plates. But, it is an inexpensive dashcam, so, I cannot complain that much. I am happy with this purchase and I recommend it. I feel more safe driving after having this dash cam.
If you aren’t looking to spend silly money but want a good quality dashcam on a budget with motion detection and night vision this camera is certainly a contender to be purchased.
Alongside recording video footage it can also capture audio clips as you’re driving and has a wide angle view to see all the road and footpaths. I’ve set mine up and forgot about it in the background whilst driving now!
My one draw back with this dashcam is the connection cable, it’s a fully enclosed cigarette charger connection point which I’ve had to create a solution using another USB to micro cable to enable use of multiple devices from the charger point (Sat Nav and Dash Cam) which I was not aware of on initial purchase.

Product received was as expected and I am impressed with the quality of the dash cam video. Looks stylish and was easy to install in my car – I was able to install it behind the rear view mirror so as to not distract the driver. The wire was quite long but was able to hide it along the sides of the car window and dashboard.

This dash cam is by far the best for value and comes with ultra quality picture, clear night time view too. Also has a built in mode to sense those around you car to switch it on if needed.

Good quality dash cam for the money
Very happy with all the features it offers, G-sensor, motion detector, parking mode. The quality of the picture is decent enough although night time recording is barely visible, even with maximum exposure. I park it in a dark street though so this could be expected. The only issue I have that it does not seem to have an option to automatically start overwriting the SD card once it is full, I had to do this manually (format the card) every time the card reached its limit.
My windscreen mount has broken after just 2 months. However, since sending supplier an email Saturday night and receiving a reply Sunday morning saying a new mount was on its way I am going to give 5 stars for exceeding my expectations as a custome

This is my first dash cam for avoiding the unpleasant situation when someone is not willing to take responsibility for his/her fault. I chose this item, because it had one of the best price value ratio among dash cams (no wifi, no GPS , no rear cam etc) and had 5 stars customer reviews.
I’m happy, because my order arrived before Xmas within the expected delivery time. After inserting the SD card, it was easy to adjust the cam. It records in quite good quality, I don’t want to make any 3D movie. Recordings can be viewed on this device, or on your laptop. I am looking forward to use my dash cam, and I am sure, I will be happy with it.
Couldn’t get it to stick as I being stubborn and male only half read the instructions. It works a treat… Idiot tip as mine kept falling off. Clean glass + cup stick it then flip little black swith to avoid much swearing.. That or read the instructions
Good Little Camera
Well, all the settings were straight forward – except the infrared settings which aren’t explained in the manual, I found out that FLASH is the actual setting for INFRARED (i think).
The camera itself seems well built and has a good feel to it, Its heavier than the normal camera so let’s hope the sucker pad can keep it on the window, The picture is 1080p FHD and shows all the road, Don’t forget to format the 32gb card before you use it!
Overall its a good little camera
Bought this as it is recommended as an amazon bestseller. Haven’t been able to use it yet as I didn’t realise that there were different speeds for sd cards and I’ve bought the wrong one. Waste of money due partly to my eagerness to get stuff done coupled with a lack of initial information on the product. I’m now reviewing this before I’ve had chance to use it in order to claim the free sd card offer. All appears sound. Nice and compact. Easy to set up. As per other reviews instructions are sparse. Don’t see why this wouldn’t work well once I have the right card. If it doesn’t I will update this review.
This is a really good camera, high quality, reasonable price, very easy to install, wide angle of view from the camera and the lens is more than capable of dealing with night vision. The camera is very well built with easy to operate buttons the quality of the video is very good. Would certainly recommend this cam as an entry level one for your driving safety.
This camera is great it easy to install easy to follow instructions. The only issue I have with this is the car lighter plug has no usb socket on the plug so u will lose the use of ur socket completely unless u buy a multi socket. Which I think is an unnecessary expence when a little thought on the part of the manufacturer to install a usb socket on the top of the plug would have made this product the number 1 dash cam I would recommend to anyone.
This was a Christmas present.
At first I was a little apprehensive, but not to worry I fitted this early January, it has been in a month it takes good quality video switches on automatically with the ignition.
I have looked back through the looped footage and it is great quality.

There seems to be a huge variation in prices for dash cams. This one is much cheaper than many but nevertheless seems well built and I found the instructions reasonably easy (especially the ‘warm’ tips)!! It records automatically and overwrites recordings so it seems you can just leave the dash cam in a then forget about it until you need it in the event of an accident. You can also take still photographs as well. It records date and time, and you can enter the licence plate. I would buy another of these. Cannot see point in spending more money.
Just received my Orksey dash cam and the first thing that struck me was its robust construction. I recently bought my daughter a different make of camera, which was all made out of plastic. This dash cam is metal, and looks and feels like quality. It appears to work just fine, especially for the price. Its early days yet but I am more than happy with my purchase and in these days of more insurance claims being settled 50/50 I now feel more protected.

I purchased this product because i wanted protection against other people if an incident were to happen i could have proof. The product was very easy to install and easy to use and camera quality is great. I would 100% recommend this to all.
What i didn’t like was that it doesn’t come with a sim card and it doesn’t tell you this when buying it. Also the distance on the camera between cars is a lot further away than in real life. Charger snapped off the wire and hardly been touched a new one on way but taking forever to get here. Actually it never arrived this product is a complete waste of money. Don’t buy!!!

The only negative thing is it is screwed to the window mount so its a little tricky getting it on and off when you leave the car. Other than that it has a good quality picture.
The Orskey Dash Cam was very straight forward and easy to install the power cable is very long so tucks under Glove box and tucks under the cars trim and hides the cable and looks neat and tidy when installed-Power Shuts off 5 seconds after the key ignition is switched off-Great Camera and a great price.
I’ve uploaded a short sample of this camera’s output, so you can see it for yourself (assuming Amazon doesn’t downgrade the quality of the video). I would have liked to be able to read the number plates of the cars that pass by, but that’s probably unnecessary. The quality is quite good enough for the price. In fact, I’m happy with this little unit. The attaching suction cup is very tight on the windshield, and the charger cable is long enough to plug into the socket located in the rear cabin of the car.
Customer service is quite good as well. The car charger that came with the unit did not work, but when I contacted the seller they immediately sent out a replacement. The replacement arrived after a week, and worked fine, so all is well!
As for durability, I gave it 5 stars even though I haven’t had it long enough to judge, but it seems well-built and it should last well enough with normal handling.
This is the first dash cam I have ever purchased and I am very happy with it. The instructions are clear, detailing what each of the functions does. The camera was easy to install and is subtle when in the car; I installed mine behind the rear-view mirror and it is small enough so as to not block my visibility, whilst the long cable allowed me to the tuck it into the dashboard in an unobtrusive way.
Picture quality seems to be great on both photo and video modes – I haven’t had chance to use it much yet, but look forward to reviewing some of the footage. Build quality also seems decent for the price.
Having only just fitted it I can’t comment on its reliability but the delivery was first class and it seems well made (ie metal not plastic) if it works as well as it looks I’ll be well pleased.
It has been only few weeks and I’m satisfied so far, it does the job. Easy to install and to use. I would have preferred a bigger button for the “Emergency save”, in my other dash-cam is a big red button while in this one is a normal black button like all the rest and is hard to find especially in the situation where you need it.

In conclusion, does the job and is value for money
I ordered the Orskey S680 Car Camera along with a 32gb Samsung Micro SD. A class 10 32gb microSD is the maximum size it can take. The camera was ready to go straight from the box. There are some basic settings that can be adjusted. It can record in 1080p or 720p. I have it set to loop recording every 5 mins. It stores the 5 minute recordings separately on the SD card, so it needs to be formatted once full. This function is built into the camera. The screen suction pad works great and the cable is plenty long enough for most cars.
Nice piece of kit for my new car! Fits discretely behind my rear view mirror and power cord easily long enough to work round interior windscreen and out of the way.
Made of nice quality plastic, the build is decent, feels heavy in hand, doesn’t feel like a cheap camera at all. Build quality is comparable to a mid-range phone (not aluminum or glass, but not cheap bendy plastic either).
Video quality is again very similar to a phone’s capabilities, sensor is a bit weak in low-light conditions, the poorly lit parts are suffering from grainy imaging, but sharpness and contrast is better than expected, licence plates are readable most of the time.
Exposition correction is quite fast, takes around 0.5-1 second, when switching from dark to bright, and the same when switching from bright to dark. (You won’t loose much footage when going through a tunnel, only entering and exiting it). It has infrared lights around the lens, which can be turned on from menu (it is labeled as “flash” which is a misnomer in my opinion). At first I thought it was not working, as I couldn’t turn on the LEDs, but then I realized they are emitting infrared light, which is invisible for the naked eye. However, on the recording there is a nice big patch of light visible, and it allows for “night-vision” recording.
You need to use a fast SD-card (class 10), otherwise your video quality will greatly suffer from loss of details. I would recommend a 32 GB one, as it allows for ~3 hrs of recording, before starting to overwrite oldest files. (Video length can be changed between 1 min, 3 min, 5 min so recording can be looped indefinitely)
Installation is quite easy with the provided accessories, and charger is long enough to hide it in the upholstery around the windshield, so no distracting dangling cables in the middle of the dashboard. The cable is mini-USB type, and is fixed to the cigarette-lighter adaptor, so if you use multiple devices, a USB-hub is recommended instead.
Video recording automatically starts on ignition, and stops when ignition is turned off. The device plays a chime during power-on and power-off (can be turned off, but it is a nice feature to have). Built-in battery capacity is very minimal, cannot be used without a charger, only purpose of the battery is to save the footage when you turn off the ignition.

I have set the unit in continuous loop mod and have seen the video output once which was fine and allowed me to read off number plates if I needed. I would recommend a 32 GB one, as it allows for ~3 hrs of recording, before starting to overwrite oldest files. (Video length can be changed between 1 min, 3 min, 5 min so recording can be looped indefinitely)
Installation is quite easy with the provided accessories, and charger is long enough to hide it in the upholstery around the windshield, so no distracting dangling cables in the middle of the dashboard. The cable is mini-USB type, and is fixed to the cigarette-lighter adaptor, so if you use multiple devices, a USB-hub is recommended instead.
Video recording automatically starts on ignition, and stops when ignition is turned off. The device plays a chime during power-on and power-off (can be turned off, but it is a nice feature to have). Built-in battery capacity is very minimal, cannot be used without a charger, only purpose of the battery is to save the footage when you turn off the ignition.
After our previous dash cam stopped working we looked for one that was similar but better. This dash cam used the same attachments ( from 12v adapter ) and same sd card so it was easy to install. The menu is user friendly and the image quality excellent even in low light. To be recommended.

Considering it is at the lower end of Dash Cams in terms of cost, its performance is great and should definitely be sufficient to be used as evidence in the case of an incident.

At night the quality suffers a little but I still think it is of good enough quality to sufficiently capture driving. I have posted a video of day and night driving (on everyone’s favourite road the M1) to give you an idea of the video quality.
Build quality is good, the side buttons could be a bit higher quality but they all work fine. The product is also very easy to attach to the windscreen using the suction cup provided. The charging cable (which you need to make sure is always attached as the battery life is very short as with most Dash Cams) is sufficiently long to ensure you can feed it around the side of the car.

This is my first dash cam and with so many to choose from I relied on previous customer feedback that gave this a high rating. The ratings were totally justified as this really is a great little camera, the picture quality is very good and it operates as it should. There are a lot of buttons down the side which you could say are a bit fiddly but once you have got used to what does what, I didn’t have a problem. Very good value for money and well worth buying
Great camera, good picture quality, all plates are perfectly visible and readable. Night mode is OK too. Easy to set up and install, manual is clear, interface is user friendly. Just set up date/time/language, insert the memory card, mount it, and plug in the camera. Camera is not too large, perfectly fits behind the rear mirror. Power cord is long and hides perfectly. Could have extra USB outlet to charge the phone as well.
When I had the product it did not work!! Contacted the supplier etc, eventually found out that an old 32gb micro sd card I used had malfunctioned. With a new card it is working brilliantly, it’s a great buy. I would recommend it.
This new dash cam v my older and cheaper one is like going from black and white TV to HD!
The camera is well made and feels like it should be much more expensive than it was.
The camera is so easy to use, I suggest you plug it in and play about as quite intuitive.
Buy a class 10 micro SD card and basically away you go.
The camera is excellent at night capturing quality videos at night.
The screen is wide-screen and captures both sides of the rd, but it means the picture isn’t or not as zoomed in as it could be. The camera comes with many extras like parking sensor and sensor to record anyone trying to steal your car.
The dash cam is full of great features considering the low price. It is extremely easy to install and is also very compact meaning it doesn’t distract you whilst driving. The wide viewing angle seems to capture everything which is great and generally the quality is great compared to other similarly priced dash cams. Overall, the features all work as described and therefore it is a great dashcam and would recommend to anyone needing one!

Turns on and off with car ignition.
Have hid the cable to cigarette lighter around the seals above, down car door seal and under dash.
After getting a memory card and turning on you can change the settings. For example turn the audio off.
Simple to stop recording if you want it to by pressing ok then press again to start recording.
I bought one of these dashcams last month and am very pleased with it. , so have got this second one. The body is sturdy and was no trouble to set it up. It takes good clear films while you are driving. I bought this one as a rear view camera and it is working very well. I previously had 2 cheaper dashcams which haven’t worked very well so thought I needed to pay more for a better one, although the Orskey ones are a good price.
Looks, feels and performs like a much more expensive dashcam.
Set up is a doddle and I am a female technophobe. It fixes very securely to the windshield, no chance of falling off when driving however bumpy the road. The picture is crystal clear even on night journeys. It switches on automatically when ignition is switched on. Lead is plenty long enough to reach 12v socket. Lots of features and a clearly written manual/instruction booklet. I am more than happy with my Orskey.
This is my first dash cam. Had to read the instructions a few times to get the hang of setting it up but got there in the end.I set the camera up in my Ford Focus 2017 and plunged into cigarette socket. Most reviews say it switches on and off when you turn the ignition on and off.I have found that my power point comes on as soon as I unlock the car and goes off 11 minuets after I lock my car so I am not sure how the parking mode works.I have found it easier to unplug when I get out of car. As for the camera it seems very good.
Dashcam installed easily, however some small issues when started/powered up. Instructions stated it would automatically enter the setup menu.
It didn’t.
Back to the instructions to find out how to enter setup menu manually.
A bit different in that a double click on menu required to enter setup, but easy once you knew how.
Camera appears to record clear pictures and offers what seems excellent value for money.
This is my second ‘Orskey’ Dashcam purchased within the last 3 months. I was so impressed with the quality and unobtrusive nature, (basically a fit and forget item), that I considered that another for the rear view was a ‘No Brainer’. Because neither of these Dashcams have not been fitted for very long, I feel I cannot offer any comment on their reliability. Both have now been hard wired into my car and it was surprising to feel that extra degree of confidence both when out on the road or when ‘Parked Up’.
You will not be disappointed, provided reliability does not become an issue then this is an excellent piece of kit.
Much better picture quality than expected. Excellent suction on the attachment piece. Long cable that allows the wore to be tidily placed along side visor and then running down inside drivers door and behind foot pedals. Ifi was to be picky, i would say the mute button could have been abit more obvious. Also the camera can turn easily and it should have been abit more stiffer, in the event of a colision its likely to move. Apart from these 2 things its a great product.
This is a no frills, easy to set up and use dashcam. Picture and sound quality is good. Screen is big enough to easily read but the camera is a sensible size and can be tucked in behind the interior mirror. The power lead that comes as standard is plenty long enough.
I got the product today. It was super easy to install. I even got to hide the wire around the edges of the door. It was long enough so that I could use the plug on the passenger seat.
Just bought this as a birthday present for my brother – upon opening the package I was very impressed – unlike my previous G1W dash-cams this one is made out of metal, so immediately feels of a much higher quality than any other dash-cam I’ve seen at this price range.
Picture is pretty good for the price, the UI is easy enough to navigate however on small devices like these it is never perfect.
Definitely would buy again/recommend to anyone looking for one.

Bought this as a gift for my mom as she has been talking about getting one. While looking through amazon this one jumped out at me as the star rating was high with great reviews so I took the leap and bought one.
I have to say I’m impressed. The build quality is great, the screen size is perfect and it is easy to navigate through menus. I’ve only used it on one journey, to test it out, and so far so good. Very happy with the product for the money.
A very robust dashcam,would probably survive a fairly heavy impact as it is mostly metal, i had to return the first one as it had the wrong mount in the box but the camera was fine.
The product was incredibly easy to install and set up, only took me ten minutes. All you have to do is plug it in, turn your engine on and it’s ready to go. I love how the camera looks, it feels very professional and sturdy in my hand. It’s the perfect size for it to not obstruct your view or distract you too much while you’re driving either. Overall very happy with it and the quality of how it records, can’t go wrong with the price.

This picture quality is pretty good considering the price. At night its ok. You can see number plates when stationary and its enough to see who was in the wrong etc. In the day the pictures is very good. Easy to see number plates etc.

I’m clueless about these things but decided to get a dash cam after a couple of near misses. My partner who is the expert tested it and is massively impressed. Excellent video quality and captures good footage while driving. Really quite impressed with this. I bought 2 one for me and a present for my partner for xmas. Think he will be pleased as he’s trialled mine and is well impressed!
I bought this dash camera for my second car. Although the screen is not large it is crystal clear with a good range of vision. The cost of this carcam is a little above the average for basic entry equipment. You have to add the cost of an appropriate SD card which in this day and age is a sad failure.
My card, of decent quality cost just shy of an additional 10.00.
I have prime membership and the camera was delivered very quickly. (Less than 24 hours) I cannot say what delivery will take for non prime members.
MY MAJOR CRITICISM AND LOSS OF STAR. The instructions booklet will be fairly useless to a huge number of users.
The print is incredibly small by least half of the print that you are reading now. Font 2.
I need reading glasses at power 2 but still had to use a powerful magnifying glass.
Instructions themselves are amongst the best that I have encountered as too many are incapable of making any sense.

The picture is a little darker than I would like and I can find no reference in the instructions to lighten the recording pictures.
I have not used the review of filmed material.
The camera appears to be made of a moulded hardened plastic.
Connection to the supplied power cable is simple. The cable (which ends in a gigarette lighter type plug) is very long but this is intended to allow cable to trace around windscreens and similar.
A shorter usb cable is supplied for attaching to a computer or similar.
Overall, I am happy that all is as it should be. All is working as it should at present.

I was amazed at the quality of this Dash Cam. Very Stylish. The Picture is lovely and Clear day or Night. I would recommend this product highly.

I bought this to replace my old dash cam . And I can tell the picture quality is much better , especially at night. It’s quite small so not obstructing the view and the cam itself looks nice and well made. The power cable is quite long. Long enough to go around the window. So no obstruction of view there . And with clear instructions it was easy to install. Happy with the purchase.

I have been considering a Dash Cam for some time. A friend recommended this one to be honest I was sceptical the cam because of the price but I’m glad I go for it . I’m not good at Technology but this cam is easy to setup and use . Significant capture High definition worth it.

Great picture quality from this dash cam and very easy to set up. Delivery was very quick and parcel was well packaged. This is the best dash cam I have seen for the price. Bear in mind you will need at least a class 6 sd card and the maximum capacity of the card is 32g. I am very happy with the dash cam.
Easy to install, picture quality is good during day and night. The camera is relatively small so you can even tuck it in behind your screen if you have space which saves you needing to attach to the windscreen which can save you having to attach the wire around the car. I would definitely recommend this product for piece of mind should you get in an accident especially at this price point.

It looks good, it is very easy to use , actually you don’t have to do anything just plug it in and attach it on your dashboard. Very good picture quality at day and at nigh! If I ever need to use the records on it then I know that it would be the high quality one.

I got this dashcam as a replacement for a cheap and nasty one ive had for a couple of years now…
Firstly i was impressed that this only cost 10 quid more than my cheap and nasty one
When it arrived i knew it was a good decision because the build quality was excellent…it was well put together and unlike most polymer based shells….the shell fitted together very tightly and looks very professional
The cam itself looks quite stylish and definitely well built
Its not without its issues…i noticed 2 little things that bugged me a little
So despite the rest of it looking so good and very professional….the side buttons just look like a cheap addition
They are solidly attached and dont wobble unlike most like that but they just don’t quite fit the aesthetic of the product
Not that this matters when you’re driving this is just me being picky
The other thing is that the ball joint on the suction cup is just a little loose
Its set up same way as most of the sat navs but its a bit stiff to twist the hexagonal ring to tighten up and limit its ability to move
Whilst i haven’t had any issues with it yet if i catch the lead in my boot then it might end up pulling it out of position so id need to twist and align it again
But if this could be tighter so a little knock would make virtually no difference that would be ideal
Other than that ihavent got anything to criticize really

It auto turns off so i canhave it always plugged in
It has a cool feature called parking mode which though i havent used it yet when i was messing seems it senses when you’re reversing and beeps like parking sensors do (or at least thats what i thought it was doing )
It also has geostabilization so it senses when knocked or if the car is hit and automatically records and locks the footage so you can’t delete it onthecamera
To save space it has a loop function so if nothing hapoens in x time it rerecords over it
It also came with a very long lead which is great if you have to put it in your boot and train the wire
Although my car has a plug in the boot and im weary of long wires because lasttime it got caught in theboot and chopped itin half so i had to manage with a too short one
To solve this i have tied ut with a rubber band though wouldbe good with some cable tie or sorter of its own
Overall for the price I am really really happy…its about on par with my expensive 100+ one i bought about 2 years ago

was able to almost fully hide behind the rear view mirror
long power cable was able to run the power cable inside the head lining and down the pillar to the cigarette lighter
the dash cam powers on and off when the car is started and shuts down when ignition is off
