Instructions (seem like a direct google translate from Chinese) are a little vague. Fiddly to set up, but you get what you pay for. It appears to affect my DAB radio too. Okay for a basic dash cam. No SD card provided with the unit.

Great little dash cam for the price. Bought this as was rated best budget dash cam by Top Gear and not disappointed at all considering it cost less than 40. Easy to set up and it runs on a 4 hour rotation plus very discreet when attached to windscreen. Doesnt come with a memory card but they recommend 32GB which costs around 10 depending on what one you buy.

It does the job. If you want to look at footage on the camera, the battery does not last more than a minute when it is unplugged. It also keeps falling off my screen from time to time and crashing to the floor.

I have deleted my previous review.

Problems I had were to do with using sd cards. With a high performance sandisk it all works fine. Good quality footage.

    Minor niggles:

Only 32 gb and fat 32

Still prefer the button layouts on eg a nextbase

Easy to set up, but controls/menus are more complex than needed. None the less the best of several we have tried. Clear picture, good field of view and excellent low light performance.

I was thinking about buying a dash cam for a while and I wasn’t sure which one to go for as there are so many but I bought this and it is perfect for my car. I have had to take footage from it a couple of times. My friend was in a car accident where I was driving behind them and I was able to send the footage to his insurance company. It sticks great to my window and had only fallen a couple of times but once it’s on it’s there for ages. Highly recommend. It plays a tune when you turn it on. This could probably be turned off in the settings if it’s annoying but I quite like it in the early mornings as it’s cheery haha.

Camera has a good quality feel to it. I charged it up indoors on opening it and went through the recommended settings. Very easy to operate and the instructions were clear and stright forward. No problems so far and would recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe product is a good reliable camera, I was inspired to get a dash cam after some idiot changed from a congested lane into my lane as I was moving 60 mph. Thankful have never needed any legal use of the footage but is always good to have. Only today has the SD card port just failed and the SD card fell into the camera, so after surgically opening the thing and retrieve it and try again, do I find out that, yes, indeed, the port has broken for some reason. Nonetheless, a reliable product, I installed it using a system of blue tack around my windscreen down the door and to the cigarette port, never caused me much of any trouble. Sad to say though I won’t be buying another one, however if you’re in need of a reliable dash cam which you can install yourself, this is a good optio

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersDecent daytime and night time picture quality. Buttons a bit fiddly for someone with heavy hands like myself. SD card a pain to insert and remove . I think buttons and SD card are put where they are for a left hand drive vehicle where the driver is accessing the buttons and SD card from the left side of the dash cam. The more you use it the more familiar you get with the buttons you can’t easily see but drive another car for a few days and come back to it and you will be struggling again. It would be nice to have a button to press to switch the microphone on so you can record abusive road users yelling through your window.

Like all these dash cams number plate recognition day or night is hit and miss – better chance during the day particularly if there is no bright sunlight but you can’t guarantee it and at night you might have a chance at low speed however headlight and brake light glare is a big problem. I Emailed Orskey to ask if they could help with a polarising filter to try to deal with glare but I have had no response from them – 1 out of 10 for customer service. Although number plate recognition at night isn’t great the general night vision is good even on some poorly lit British back roads. I previously had a similar camera from Orskey (which came with a reversing camera) and the night vision of both was hopeless even with decent lighting from street lamps. This camera is advertised as having IR LED’s and they do seem to make a difference.

In summary, if you don’t expect much from the night vision in terms of number plate recognition and accept a 50/50 chance of getting a number plate during the day when there is no glare from the Sun you should be happy with this camera. The 33 asking price is worth it.

Bought to replace what was a great budget dash cam that had served me for about 4 years.

The camera arrived well packaged with accessories which included power adaptor, usb cable for connection to computer, and 2 mounting options – sucker and adhesive pad. Power is via a mini usb cable so I was able to use my existing wiring for the new camera. I opted to use the self adhesive pad mount as it’s slightly smaller (although less robust looking) than the suction mount. It works well.

The camera is of great quality and I was surprised by its weight which immediately gives it a quality feel. Unlike other dash cams I’ve owned, the button functions are very intuitive. There are even symbols to the sides of the screen which indicate the button functions, which I found useful. Although the instructions are clear and in good English, I only used them to identify the buttons. Setting up is easy using the menu and navigation buttons.

The video quality is probably the best I’ve experienced. The sound isn’t the best, but is adequate.

One of the problems I had with my old camera was that the video froze occasionally and I found myself driving around with no video recorded. It’s useful to be able to see the camera display to check that the camera is actually operating. When I first set the camera up, the screen went blank after about 30 seconds. When I checked the footage, it was actually still recording – although the screen was black. Although you can set the screen saver to ‘off’ in the menu, when you restart the car it reverts back to its default 30 second time out. So, if you want the reassurance that the camera is recording by having the screen on all the time, it’s necessary to set the the screen saver to ‘off’ after you’ve started the car and before you make your journey. Now I’ve found this workaround, this is just a small criticism of what is a great piece of kit. Highly recommended!

Edit. The issue in the above paragraph has gone away. After a period of use the camera’s battery builds-up sufficient charge to be able to retain your settings.

Quite happy with this Dashcam. Great picture on the smallish screen, got a good deal of menu options to personalise, the only downside to it is that with it turned on,my Pure Highway 600 DAB receiver does not work. I initially had my Highway 600 hardwired via the fuse box,and a kit off Amazon to wire it in,but it make my DAB not work. Trying a work around using Ferrite Cores, and a cigarette lighter adapter, but this will mean physically turning the dashcam on with every journey,as my cigarette lighter does not go off with the key. But in all,I’m happy with this dashcam. It gives you the option to protect the video in the event of a crash. Its a great little dashcam

I’ve been first on scene or shortly after at several accidents over the years (that’s what happens to nurses!) and the last was just before Christmas at which sadly a motorcyclist died. The first thing the police asked me was whether I had dashcam footage and it got me thinking how useful it would be. It also made me realise what a poor witness I was and the video footage would have helped me to process it all too. After lots of research I decided on this one as a compromise between quality and the price I was prepared to pay. I’m reasonably tech savvy and set it up without too much difficulty (note that this one doesn’t come with the card, you’ll need a class 10 32gb microSDHC card, suitable for dashcams). The first thing I found when I came to install it is that the cable goes directly into your cigarette lighter (not USB into the lighter), which means if you’re already using it for a SatNav, you’ll need a new USB cable and a splitter for the cigarette lighter. Note that even with a new USB cable it still needs to eventually go into the lighter to get sufficient power. I also bought some super tiny cable clips to take the cable down the edge of the windscreen and along the dashboard. So having sorted all of that out I installed it, taking time to check the lens was pointing through a part of the windscreen covered by a windscreen wiper and not distracting for the driver. For a Honda Jazz that was behind the left side of the rear-view mirror. I read several reviews saying the suction attachment didn’t work; I’ve had no problems but make sure you remove the (almost invisible) clear seal and use your finger to slightly wet the suction cap!
The camera turns itself on about 5 seconds after the engine starts and off again when you cut the engine, so you don’t need to keep remembering. It took some time and a few trial runs to get the camera adjusted correctly for the best view. There are also several settings you can change from the menu. The screen saver – I have mine switch the screen off after 2 minutes so that it’s not a distraction while I’m driving, it continues to record. Sound – mine is off, I don’t need engine sound or my conversations on the recording, and it’s not particularly helpful in accidents as it mostly picks up what’s inside the car. I added our registration plate which is only visible on playback. I mostly left other settings except G-sensor, which I switched off as per the instructions on the very first page of the instructions.
The results have been pretty good for such an inexpensive bit of kit. Yes, number plates could be clearer, and night vision has quite a lot of halo effect around lights. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase but hope I never actually need the footage again.

Easy to install with intuitive steps.
I set this to come on / off with ignition. I know it can do a lot more and it gives plenty of options, but I wanted it simple.
Unusually with my configuration I mounted the unit on the dash rather than windscreen. This of course would invert the image but the camera corrects this. It doesn’t take the text with it, that stays upside down but it’s no issue for me. Playback on a pc requires software to get it all up the right way, again not a problem. This is a nice camera, solid, easy access with good field of view.

All features work perfectly. Don’t forget to get an sd card, which is not included. Cable is long enough for me. All I would say is, familiarise yourself with the controls – the instructions are fairly basic and not very well translated, but with a little care you can figure it out.

Fairly inconspicuous device that I fitted high up next to the rear view mirror. Although in some cars with a lower dash it could be mounted in the lower windscreen (my works van) as it really is quite a small device. I didn’t spend a great deal of time trying to decipher the usual poor manual, but went straight to U-tube and found several “How to” video’s of actual installation’s and function set-up’s for this camera.
Getting the supplied wire back to the centre console power socket in my Merc A class was easier than I thought. As the headlining and window pillar trim could be prised off sufficiently with one hand and the cable tucked behind quite easily. Fed it through the glove box and into the console. Ok, I do have a foot of bare cable showing here.
All in all an inexpensive dash cam that does what I need it to do – be there to provide Police/Insurance company’s video evidence in case of an accident.

Relatively easy to install and set up.

I had a mishap yesterday. When the camera is mounted behind the mirror its very difficult for the driver to insert the memory card into the slot. The receiving slot is narrower than the aperture in the case. I managed to push my memory card into the camera but not into the correct slot. But the time I realised my error it was too far in to retrieve. After some hours chewing wasps at my clumsiness, and laziness at trying to do it in situ, I took my screwdriver and invalidated the warranty by opening the case to retrieve my card. The unit still works perfectly despite my vigorous attempts to dislodge the trapped card. I can attest to the excellent build quality of the interior circuitry and the external case. The picture quality is good too, though there is a magenta cast to the centre of the field of view in low light conditions. Highly recommended for the price I paid, 34.

it’s 1080p but i reckon it’s a lower bit rate as it’s not as clear as 1080p should be but it’s more than enough for recording events and license plates. good quality when driving at night. easy to set up. i hardwired mine into my fuse box so there wouldn’t be wires dangling everywhere. hard wiring isn’t for everyone if you want a tidy set up and aren’t sure about touching electronics or routing cables you should take it to a halfords or something.

When I received this dash cam I was impressed by the quality of it for the price. The picture quality is very good, very simple to set.
I have installed the dash in my truck, have used the 12 volt connection as this switches on and off with the ignition, as the power connection is quite close to the the cam, I did not need the long power cable, used a cigarette light socket and a short USB to mini USB and it v
    Charges ok
On the first day of use, I had a white man van driver do a reckless manoeuvre in front of me, had to laugh when I played it back later, not only could you hear me calling him all the names under the sun, but I got a certain finger gesture from him , which I had not noticed at the time all in 1080hd!!!!!

It is easy to set-up and operate and enables a wide view of travel. If you have a flashing red dot on the screen, this indicates “under recording”. It took me a time to realise by pushing the record button extinguishes the flashing red dot. This is not included within the instructions.

I bought it for recording when driving. The dashcam is affordable and serves the purpose for driving on road. However it might not suitable for those who require long recording eg. parking overnight, because it supports up to 32gb SD card which only allows for few hours of recording before overwriting. For me it’s good enough with affordable price.

Had bought this camera to record the rear traffic. Was easy to install and set up. Light enough to stay stuck on the rear glass. It comes with 2 mounts, which is a plus, as I’ve normally encountered mounts which don’t stay stuck and then gives problems to fix the camera. Not really checked out the night vision, but the day time camera quality is good. Enough to help identify who is wrong in an insurance claim scenario.
Together with the good price point, this is definitely a buy.

Does what it should and was expected to do, picture quality is good, not tried night vision so can’t comment on that. Comes with USB cable, 12v cable, suction windscreen fitting plus a stick on fitting. AVI Files downloaded easily straight from camera or can be viewed on camera reasonably on the 3″ screen. I’m amazed by how clear the image is not only during the day but also at night. When driving in the dark the picture on the camera screen shows more than can be seen by just the headlights alone.

Had this camera recommended to me by a friend, given the price compared to well known brands I was a little concerned that this wouldn’t be up too much. However after setting it up which was easy and figuring out the auto on and off, I was ready to use the camera. Had a incident within a couple of days of installing the dash cam and watched the video back and the footage was good. Its a little difficult at a distance to read the number plate but within a car length the image is clear. The product feels well built and will hopefully last the test of time.

This dashcam was very easy to install, and came with 2 mounting options, one being adhesive based to offer more strength, and the other a more traditional suction based one. The default options set up on the camera were all based on best practice recommendations from Orskey, only the date and time needed updating. The camera itself is very ergonomic, takes up very little space, in the passenger view, but at the same time provides a 3 inch . panoramic view out from the front of the car. There is excellent night vision, and great clarity all round. A great product, faultless, and at a bargain price.

This camera is recording in a good quality. Instalation is very simple. Materials are sturdy. Easy to navigate through the menu.
It’s perfect for occasional long trips. Doesn’t make sense to buy some expensive branded camera.

The dash cam is an easy to use piece of kit but the memory card would not click into place. I tried several times and thought I was going to break it. If I held it with my finger it stayed in so rather than send it back I’ve used a piece of celoptape to hold it into place. Not ideal at all but it works.

I bought this to replace a next base dash cam at a fraction of the cost. I am really impressed with the build quality and the pictures that this captures.
The unit is metal and solid with good responsive buttons and the image quality is very good.

Only one thing (as this really doesn’t matter to me), they recommend that you turn off the auto protect feature, if you have a bump it will auto protect that file)… But in reality if you have a bump, the recording will stay put for hours / miles anyway depending on the size of your memory card or you would just press the protect button.

That doesn’t bother me as my old unit would protect files if it go over a speed bump etc, but might others.

Affordable and sufficient for our needs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the power cable could have been a bit longer. Our power point isn’t by the handbrake/under the rearview mirror but within our centre armrest console so, to make the cable reach, I had to leave parts of the cable hanging out rather than tucked under and hidden behind the car lining.

I bought a dashcam as a gift to my father. He used to come home from work and constantly swear at other drivers who interfered with his driving and break the road rules. However, now we sometimes watch videos of his traffic accidents together, and on a regular basis everything turns out, to put it mildly, not the way he remembered. In general, dad no longer considers himself the best driver in the world, and everyone else an idiot who cannot drive. I highly recommend the camera to everyone.

My first Dash Cam, was a similar price to this Orskey S680, but looked more like a child’s toy with terrible instructions, which I could not understand because the Chinese/English translation. However this Dash Cam is in a different league. It is solidly built and the instructions are very clear — the Chinese/English translation is excellent. The buttons on the side are simple to use with a positive ‘click’ when using. It is easy to navigate to set up all the different features for the video, date and it can also take good definition photos. The photos and video can be reviewed on the 3″ screen and on a computer — I was very impressed with the quality and could easily distinguish number plates of cars. The wide angle is impressive, so when any vehicles approach from the sides they will be recorded on the camera. It also has a sensor so that if there is a sudden shock, the recording is locked and will not be overwritten, recordings can also be locked manually. The camera comes with 2 different windscreen mounts and connections for plugging into computer and the cigarette lighter of the car. This is a good camera, and I so no reason to spend ‘s on more expensive ones when this does the job well.

Prior to buying this camera, I used a GoPro for my dash cam. Anyone who has used a GoPro in this way will tell you it is overkill, and actually does not do as good a job on longer journeys due to battery life. For a fraction of the price, this is a brilliant bit of kit. Clear during the day and night and sufficient coverage to have both front pillars of my SUV in view. Set up is easy (mine is always connected via the cigarette lighter). Would highly recommend.

I bought two of the cameras to fit front and back screens of the car. Am very happy with the results so far – as with all these things it is about peace of mind rather than active need.

Easy to mount and worth the money. Came well packaged. The instructions as with most similar items are not the best but I was able to set up and have run for a couple of weeks.

For first time users can I remind that if you pull out the power lead from the cigarette socket you will lose the date and time – which might invalidate any claim.

Well the little dash cam is one of the best I’ve have didn’t want to think with it been as cheap as is. But I was very pleasantly surprised in how good this little thing is very very clear when driving even at night it’s very good to the end of your headlights and a little bit more all the features top Notch I’ve got 64g sd card works fine So I would very recommend this to others

Bought this ages ago but didnt get round to installing it. We used an SD card not compatible so ordered a better one and it works a treat. Good clear camera picture. Not really messed with the settings, i want it to record when the car is in motion and it does so thats all i need. Would recommend.

This camera functions well. The screen is clear and a good wide angle.
Setup was a bit fiddly with the menus (manual could do with improvement!)
Placement was easy….good suction cup mount and long enough cord to bury and plug in to accessory socket.
If you are on a budget this is a good camera to get.

This is my third dash cam, the others having either just stopped working or suffered mechanical failure when transferring from one car to another. This dash cam has a much higher quality feel about it; it is more substantial and the controls are more responsive. Even down to the power supply – it doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall to pieces each time you touch it.
This dash cam comes with a much better instruction manual than the previous ones; it was very easy to setup and install, and there was plenty of cable to go from the dash cam to the 12V socket.
You will need to supply your own micro SD card; I have used a 32GB card and it looks like this can fit about 45 three-minute video clips (ie about 2 1/4 hours) at 1920×1080 30fps before overwriting. Recording quality is acceptable, although I haven’t done any recording at night yet, and the loop recording (overwriting the oldest video when the card is full) works fine.
Overall, I would recommend this dash cam

Great camera and so easy to set up and use. I’ve had more experience cameras in the past and this is just as good.
Comes with a really long power cable which really handy when it comes to fitting in the car as you can run it around the trims in the car so none of the cable can be seen.
It also came with a spare suction attachment which I’ve never had before with other cameras.
If you’re in the market for a new dash cam then you can’t go wrong with this.
    5 stars.

    Good quality camera.

Great little camera and amazing value for the price. Only problems I’ve had is needing to tighten a plastic wheel to hold the camera still and stop it moving as it was loose! Then, on only 1 occasion, the sucker holding the camera to the windscreen fell off, but other than that I can’t find any faults at all, and these aren’t really faults!! Very pleased with my purchase. Had it now for 6 months and no major problems at all.

Was not expecting this product to be so good, I mean it wasn’t very expensive! But it’s exceeded my expectations. I’m no technophobe and was worried while unpacking the camera that I wasn’t going to know what to do with it. However the instructions were easy to follow. I loved that when I plugged it into the car, it jumped into life, and when I returned from my test drive it turned off when I took the keys out from the ignition. So everything was really easy. I then plugged the dash-cam into my home computer using the supplies USB cable and the footage com straight up onto my screen, no messing about what-so-ever.. Strong metal body to the camera and feels great.

Good for added piece of mind when driving and cost isn’t bad. Only problem I’ve found is the wire from the device (for power) is a little shorter than needed so it’s restricted where I can place it. This means I can’t put it out of the drivers view, and the picture can be distracting to a new driver. Doesn’t come with SD card which is a little annoying and not very clear.

High quality product. Easy to set up. Make sure you get a micro SD card to go with it.
Set it up for my new car as needed for insurance coverage.
Captures the road view in full HD which is surely helpful. Just started to use so cannot comment on reliability but looks to be a solid product.

When you open the box it’s clear that this camera is of very high quality – it looks and feels very good in your hands.
To set it up it advises you put it behind your rear-view mirror so that it doesn’t obscure your view. Then comes the annoying part – you need to trace the power line around your car to reach your charger port in the middle… Wasn’t aware that was a thing! But the camera itself is great.

All three 5 x stars? It really is that good. Wide-angle camera to capture side roads (left and right). Picture quality (HD) very clear and night vision excellent brightness balance. Car’s headlights give good forward illumination and oncoming cars do not dazzle. Street lights too – non-intrusive. Day-night all automatic. With on/off automatic this product is ‘fire-and-forget’. Menu system (4 x to the left and 3 x to the right may seem a lot but it is quite intuitive. Well thought out. Easy to manage. Can format a memory card so totally inclusive to use. Recommended.

The Orskey S680 was purchased to replace a ‘similar’ unit that had been in use for several years, and which had become unreliable.
The Orskey was easy to set up and fix to the windscreen, although I had to adjust it’s position so that the flashing Blue recording light, and the red power light, both of which are quite bright were hidden from view.
I also purchase a long USB extension cable to fit, up through the door pillar area and across to the mirror, thus keeping the screen clear of trailing cables.
Access to the Micro SD is not difficult, and the fit is somewhat better than in some models, where the slot can be mis-aligned.
The unit recently ‘fell off the screen’ and because of slight mishandling when replacing it, having cleaned the mount to re-apply the suction cup, I discovered that I could not find the instructions easily.
When I eventually did, I remembered that it had been difficult to read, due to the print size. My only criticism is that I’ve been unable to find a PDF that can be printed using a larger font size etc.
All in all, a very affordable and reliable unit, which I have no hesitation in recommending to others.

I bought this wanting to help me as a new driver, and i cannot fault this item at all, the picture quality is nicen ad claer and runs at 1080P, its lovely, and the night vision is really really good, it shows a clear picture, theres some blurriness if headlights go directly into the carema lense but i think that is the inside of my windscreen, however i am not 100% sure.

The set up of the camera was really easy, it literally suctions to the window and it does not leave a terrible mark on the window, and the set up is as simple as plug and play. A memory card does not ocme with the camera which is a real shame but you can pick one up for cheap

This dash cam is actually very good quality, easy to setup and excellent value for money. Considering the cost of the dash cam it has some very good features like the date stamp and the car registration display in the videos. I have been testing out this dashcam for a couple of weeks now the picture quality is very good during the day, night vision recording is good too the number plates of other vehicles are very clear when they are in the proximity, I have the camera installed on the rear windscreen. I have been using a 32GB card no issues till date.

The only drawback or the negative is the suction power of the windshield mount it had come off a couple of times in the first week but has been holding strong for the last 2 weeks. I will update the review if anything changes.

Great camera for the money. I have been using it this a few months now and it has been no bother at all. Good picture quality and video playback. Capacity is plenty for what it does and a decent amount of lead to connect to where you power source is. This would have been a five star review had it showed the mph but that is my fault for not checking first when I purchased.

Purchased this dash cam in April 2019. Easy to set up and straight forward to use, once you have the hang of it. Video and photo is clear and the overall feel of the camera is solid and of good quality. I did have a problem with it in January 2020, but a couple of emails later the dash cam was replaced with a new boxed replacement, very good after sales service.

For a 30 Dashcam, I have to admit I cannot fault this product. Default configuration is excellent for any driver’s use and is also very easy to configure if you need to. If I had to mention anything detrimental, it would only be that it supports up to 32Gb, wouldn’t mention this if it was capable of using 64Gb (or anything higher obviously). Used it all day today for over 5 hours driving and it had ALL the video with space to spare so it hadn’t needed to overwrite any video footage which was configured at 1920×1080 Full HD with HDR and it had everything recorded brilliantly and clearly. I don’t really require audio so this feature was disabled. All in all, I would recommend this Dashcam. Great product!

This is a menu driven Driving Recorder which has a very good Wide Angle Lens.
Quite compact and provided with a decent windscreen mounting.
Being new to Driving Recorders I find some of the menus rather strange to me and the instruction book does not explain the jargon clearly.
However, on a trial and error basis it is possible to fathom it all out.
Would have been five * if the instruction book had been more comprehensive.

I’ve tried several varieties of dashcam and this one has been the best so far. Time will tell if it works well for a long time but at the price, you can’t go too far wrong. It was easy to set up in the house (using the supplied USB cable in a phone charger socket) before attaching to the windscreen of the car. The only problems were that I also need to power our satnav from the 12v car power socket so needed to get a 2-port USB car charger and the supplied USB cable was a bit too short so I used one that I had in my box of cables from the many other gadgets that come with USB cables. The cable is too short to go around the windscreen, but I’m not too fussed about it dangling below the mirror. The nicest things about it is its size (small but perfectly formed) and the fact that it almost hides behind the rear view mirror. I just hope I never have to rely on it after an incident.

Appreciate this may be considered an “entry level” dash cam but do your really need to spend more?
    Personally, I don’t think so.
Looks like good quality, works well, easy to use, easy to set up, video quality is also good.
Even comes with a spare screen mount and a long power lead if your want to hide it under the car’s bodywork.
For the money, I really don’t think you could get any better, does everything you should need from a dash cam at a good price.
    Very good!

Some of the dash cam hasn’t got night vision and i bought 1 hasn’t got night vision but this has which i like it very much.
The product was really easy to assemble as well as simple to install onto my car. I found that it has really good camera quality and its night vision is exceptionally helpful as it is able to show a crisp clear image even in the dark. It came relatively fast and the package came with charging and a manual which was very helpful as it showed how to use the dash cam with clear instructions. Overall, this product was really helpful and very worth my money.
Image quality is great. Setup was very easy. Pulling videos off with the app is a very easy process. The camera is also very well build and looks good on the windshield. Impressive!

We had a car pull out and hit us and the cam we had served the purpose of showing the other driver was at fault but it was only then that we realised how poor the image quality was. So we looked around and the reviews for this were good.
The image on these is so good we bought another. Now have one in both our cars.
One thing to look out for is that after some weeks a message comes up on screen saying card full. That shouldn’t happen on loop recording but we looked into it and it is a common problem with dashcams. All you do is reformat the card while inside the dashcam (in options) and all sorted. We try to reformat every 3 months now if we remember.

his camera works well in daylight and captures video and sound well. however for night time use the glare created by your car headlights and other cars makes number plates impossible to make out unless your a few feet away, this problem isn’t specific to this brand of camera as I understand most cameras on the market have the same trouble, I think it has something to do with the reflective material on car number plates, I had a near fatal car accident recently and although the camera captured the incident I was unable to make out the number plate to report the car. one other problem I have with the power lead for this camera is that it scrambles my DAB car radio which as a car dash cam is rather annoying, I had to purchase some ferrite cores to clip on to the cable to reduce interference which has helped but not solved the problem. overall for the price you wont have many complaints its a good solid camera, if orskey can source their power cables else ware to prevent the radio interference that would be a huge improvement.

For a night view situation that happened to me recently, I have attached a picture of a recent near miss (of someone ‘accidentally’ going across oncoming traffic). Could not read their number plate in this picture. Yet, overall in right situations (like most cameras) provides good pictures. Having this camera has also made me an even more careful driver! I am on camera too! I would like to have had some more advanced editing software with this Dash Cam.., however for around 23 pounds no complaints.

I’ve never used a dashcam before and I’m delighted with how easy it was to set up the Orskey. Very clear instructions, simple to get it working and the camera produces excellent video. The only slight drawback is having to drape the connecting wire from the cigarette socket to the camera – in the end I got it almost invisible by tucking in/under various bits of trim (see photo – I edited out the neighbours passing in front of the windscreen!). Really pleased with my purchase

Super dashcam at a super price

The camera is great value for money, but would have been good to have the option of having a microSD card supplied for a few pounds more, so the camera would have been able to be used straight out of the box. You have to order the microSD card separately.
The standard delivery was very fast with the item coming in 2 days, a day before the earliest expected delivery date.
Fitting the power cord on my Citreon DS3 was very fiddly as there is no fittings included for the cord, you just have to try and squeeze it around the trim of the car, even then lots of electrical tape was needed to hold it in place until I can find some sticky back clips somewhere and fit it better.
The only 12V output on my car is on the centre console beside the handbrake and the cord was only just long enough after a little shortcut when fitting. A larger car with the same layout may find it too short. The company does say it will supply a free extender cable for long wheel based vans for rear cameras, so maybe they will supply the extender to cars that the power cable is too short.

Purchase this as a replacement for my last camera which I thought was intermittently knocking out the DAB radio in my Ford Kuga (DAB aerial is in the top of the windscreen). Camera is easy to set up and relatively easy to install. Only three issues: 1. This camera also intermittently knocks out the DAB radio. 2. The weight of the camera means it falls out of the windscreen often as the suction device isn’t powerful enough. 3. Due to the way the lock-nut works on the screw thread the camera has a tendency to move, and has to be re-positioned regularly.

There are so many accidents on the roads these days and they are becoming increasingly popular with motorists in the UK. I bought this particular product because of the many of positive reviews. The build quality is good and it feels heavy. The buttons are responsive and the features are good as well. Setting up the product was simple and I didn’t really need to the instructions. The accessories that come with the product are exactly what you need, especially the cigarette charger. The wide angle camera for the product gives a good picture quality as well. The only thing I wish the product supports’ is a bigger micro SD card; its not a deal breaker though.

All in all this product is good for what I need and I cannot wait to try out the ‘night vision mode’, top dollar 🙂

Great product, good quality and easy to setup.

I bought this camera as I needed a Dash cam after a recent near miss in my car.
The ORSKEY Dash Cam appeared to have a very high spec, for the price. I am a professional in the broadcast industry and was sceptical of the high spec. However I was not disappointed.
This is a lovely device it is very compact and discrete and does not obscure your driving view. The definition is first class with a very good wide angle lens with no apparent distortion of the image.
Set-up the camera and leave alone to record all your journeys. It will capture and store any traffic incident you maybe involved in. A great buy.

After using my previous dashcam for about a year, I decided to upgrade due to not having the function of being able to overwrite previous recordings which were very time consuming as I had to format my micro SD each time it became full. Having searched amazon looking at many different dashcams, I was drawn towards the ORSKEY Dash Cam as it had many very positive reviews talking about its good functionality and excellent picture quality. Having used the Dash Cam for a few weeks I can confirm that the reviews are justified. The camera works just as described and the overwriting function is a very handy tool as you do not have to manually format the card all the time. If you are considering ordering this dashcam, I would highly recommend you do so as it is very good value for money and works just as it says.

With more and more cars on the road the chance of being involved in a crash or seeing one is increasing so in my mind dash cams are a must for everyone who owns a car. For a cheap dash cam it works well. The image quality is good and reading plates is fairly easy. The dash cam is ok to program, not the easiest however once you get the hang of it it’s not bad. The build quality is great and the fact that it comes with a cigarette lighter charger is great, so it starts up when the car starts and immediately starts recording. What’s even better is the fact it has motion capture so if someone dings your car and drives off you can easily see who as the camera automatically turns on when something moves in its view.
Overall good dashcam for the price and little to fault.

Been thinking of getting a dashcam for a while but wasn’t sure which one to get. Should I get an expensive one or a cheap one, I saw this one on special offer for 22 so jumped in and ordered it thinking if it’s no good it’s only a few pounds wasted. I have to say I was most impressed picture quality is excellent it’s quite easy to understand the setting up once you have read the instructions a couple of times. Once it’s set up it switches on every time you start the car. If you don’t like cables it will run off the battery but you have to turn the unit on each time you go out in the car. I would recommend this product no problem

I bought two, one for me and one for my wife’s car after realising how much our car insurance premium drops if you have a dash cam.
Having never had one before I was really happy with the ease of install and how you don’t have to give it a thought after it is set up.
I did lose DAB radio on the car as the camera and cables were so close to the DAB antennae. However 5 spent on some Ferrite Chokes Rings, one positioned on the cable next to the camera and one by the charging point stopped any interference immediately.
When taking out the memory card and attempting to play footage on my laptop I could only get VLC player to play it. The avi files did not seem to work on windows media player.
At 29 + 5.99 for a micro sd card it seems a bargain compared to other cameras.
This is a basic model and friends of mine have the more expensive ones which have GPS and show what speed you are travelling etc. But for what it is, it seems a good investment.

It’s pretty good for the price.

    Pros:
1080p for the price is amazing. (I paid 26.39 for it)
Good and solid build. Does not feel cheap/ plastic like some of the others.
Cables hidden and suction strong – does not fall off the screen.
Since it’s been up, it automatically starts when the car starts and stops when I leave the car. I never have to fiddle with it again unless I want to review footage in which case I just remove the memory card.
Does’t use 3m double sided tapes to stick unlike some others.

    Cons:
Files saved as avi – not friendly when sharing. I would prefer mp4.
Quality isn’t great. Unless the car is right in front, difficult to make out the number plate.
Night time driving, the quality is even worst.
32gb storage card is a little small.

In conclusion, for the price, it’s a pretty decent dash cam. Especially if using in the day. But if I had to do it again, i’d spend a little bit more and get a 4k dash cam with more storage.

Good solid build and premium product for the price.
