How do I set up my VR Headset?

1) Choose a VR Supported GameSelect a VR supported game from the list above. Unfortunately not many Switch games are compatible with this at the moment but the couple that are have given my husband great fun and a new way to play old favourites!
Bought this for my son to use with his Switch. Some games easier to set up than others (but that’s a function of the game not this product-& not all games have a VR mode).
Product itself is very simple, it’s just a lens for the Switch games that can be enabled for VR mode. Over time I’d worry that the connector straps at the top will break as they have to be pulled into place but overall good produc
Looks like a nice present for a child, just wish Amazon would have taken better care. Sticker was placed on the actual box of VR that is very hard to remove and one corner slightly damaged. Wish this was double packed.
I brought this for my daughter as she has been wanting a VR set for a while. Then I spotted this headset on Amazon for a good price. Given my daughter already owned a switch it made perfect sense. She hasn’t been able to use them yet as I’ve now got to buy her a compatible game. Otherwise they look really good.
My son is one happy boy. He loves this VR headset. There are only a handful of switch games that are VR compatible but as far as the VR headset goes, it was a brilliant buy
So this isn’t down to this particular company but more VR mode on switch. The switch wasn’t made to be a VR and I think that’s why these are so hard to come by. I think VR mode was probably a bit of a gimmick and I think that’s why switch disconnected their version. However, my six year old was insistent he wanted a VR headset for his switch and this one had the best reviews. The fact the modes on the games aren’t great isn’t this companies fault. This headset is comfortable and works well. Despite the fact people say these are heavy my six year old can wear it without complaint and my three year old had a little go too (him waving at toad so cute!) Me and my wife both tried tried the 3 games we gave with it too. Captain road was the best out of three we have it really felt like you were in game. Super Mario Odyssy was too far away not great. Super Smash bros a little glitchy but okay. Would I recommend this headset if you want to give VR mode a go on a switch this is probably the best you can get!
The headset is great and our 10 year old son is over the moon with it.
The headset is great. Very comfortable to wear. Only disappointment is that Nintendo don’t have more compatible games. I’ve used it on the Captain Toad and Mario Odyssey games – the Captain Toad levels are particuarly good (shame it’s not the whole game).
Arrived earlier than expected. Instructions were easy to follow.
Easy to adjust to fit different size heads. Good visual eyes effects. Great for bringing characters to life.
Would be really good if Nintendo had more games suitable for vr.
Used happily. Adjustable to fit a younger sibling too. No complaints.

Having loads of fun with this! Yes there are many better vr experiences out there but you’ll be shelling out hundreds of pounds! This is perfect for a good bit of fun and a great price point if you own a switch and are even slightly interested you have to give it a go! I’m really hoping Nintendo release more games that support vr but until they do there are loads of stuff on YouTube.

Works really well, easy to use. My 6 year old can just about work it himself. Only thing he needs help is to make sure the switch is clipped in properly.
This was a present for my son for Christmas, he already owns one of the Nintendo Switch Labo sets and finds it hard to keep hold of the VR headset element whilst playing games. This hands free headset is perfect and comfortable to wear for playing various VR games on the Switch.
Headset is easy to use and once adjusted is comfortable to wear.

My daughters love it, but beware only certain games can be used n this. Highly recommended.
My 8 year old (and friends) loves this. We got the Toad game to go with it and the limited number of levels compatible with vr literally added a new dimension.
He also enjoyed the videos on YouTube like Rollercoaster and swimming through coral reefs.

This was a very affordable surprise for my switch obsessed son. He loves it and hardly took it off on Xmas day. It’s very easy to use and a simple idea to make some of his switch games much more life like. The item was delivered on time and well packaged. Would recommend!

Thank you Orzly!! I bought this product for my son as a Christmas gift. He loves it! It’s easy to put on and play the games, you definitely have to play in short phases.
I did struggle at first to fasten the Switch into the VR headset, but once secured it was not going to move.
The only downside to it, is there are not many games for the switch that are Compatible

The product works as advertised. Nintendo needs to up their VR gameplay though because it is quite awful at this time.

This is a good VR headset for kids and adults alike. I don’t recommend spending ages in it as it does cause some dizziness after a while but for half an hour or so it’s fine. It works well and the quality is good for the price. Would recommend.
VR Headsets like this are really a quite simple technology, the idea dating back to the 19th century. Certain games (and Youtube videos) are presented in stereoscopic form and whilst wearing the goggles, give the appearance of a large 3D screen, whilst the game is controlled via the gyroscope in the Switch by turning your head.
Thus it’s a fun accessory, well made with high-grade fittings and presented in attractive branded packaging. There aren’t really a huge amount of games in VR on Switch, but this is a high quality product that would be a great affordable gift for a Switch owner.

Gives you that immersive experience, takes getting used to as at first you might feel a little quesy, but the immersive effect is enjoyable.
Best used when alone or you will get poked and ridiculed by the family.
Absolutely impressed with this budget friendly VR headset which fits the Nintendo Switch. I chose this for my son who loves his Switch and who enjoys VR based stuff.
So far he’s played it mostly with Zelda (Breath of the Wild) and it’s fantastic as we’ve all had a play around with it.
It’s great with Mario Odyssey as well.
Using YouTube videos is also fun, you need to search for “Google cardboard VR videos” but a decent variety of immersive stuff comes up.
Easy to use, pop the head set on, adjust the straps for a perfect fit and use the focus dial to adjust the settings to your own personal choice.

My son is a big fan of the nintendo switch, so when I saw the opportunity to review this I jumped at the chance.
The first thing to say about this is that only some of the switch games have a VR mode, I had to do a little digging online but it appears that only 6 games at the moment work, which i have listed below (this is obviously only what i found so there could be more – do your own research to be safe).

Super Mario Odyssey
Super Smash Bros.
Spice & Wolf VR
Labo VR
Of that list of games i was pleased to see that my sons favourite game, Super Smash Bros was one of the games that worked with the VR mode enabled.
the headset itself is really easy and quick to attach to the switch as was enabling the VR mode on the game after a very quick google. In terms of playability, it added a whole new dimension to the game and reinvigorated a bit of interest but also making it a little bit more than simply sitting in a char playing a game.
one word of caution. i tried it myself and after about 10 minutes i felt really motion sick. my son, however didn’t feel anything so it’s obviously a very personal reaction to the VR effect.
My son loves it and i will be looking to add a few more games to the collection to let him expand a little in a lightly more active way.
It can be a bit fiddly to set up and get it just right so you can see through the lenses, but once in place it does work ok.
It ends up being quite a chunky thing though, with the switch out front making it feel a bit front heavy?
I think the price is changing for this unit too, as I type this I see it listed at 28.91, which isn’t too bad a price for what it is. I don’t think I’d want to pay any more than that for it.
Overall it does what is says, though given that it holds the Switch (giving it weight) and you have to mess about with the straps to keep it secure in use it’s what I’d call an ok gadget. Pretty good, but not outstanding?
This headset is suitable for both the Switch and Switch OLED consoles, not Lite.
If you haven’t got any games that are compatible you can still look at videos on YouTube which will definitely make you want to get all the games!
It adds a new dimension to the Switch console and feels more immersive when you’re playing a game. Just allow yourself plenty of room as you can’t see anything apart from the screen when the headset is on, you don’t want to accidentally whack your drink over or bash one of the kids.
It is well padded, with good adjustments for different head widths and the ability to focus the lens for a clear picture.
The only issue if the weight, having a Switch console balanced on the end of your nose is never going to be a joyous experience but it’s not as bad as I’d first anticipated, as you do get drawn in to the experience so don’t notice at first. I’ve found that 15 to 20 minutes at a time is enough for me.
For the price it’s a really good accessory to have.

This took a lot of getting used to. The videos that were made of the persons were it were too funny. Easy to wear and adjust. It did feel slightly heavy but i found it was ok for me because i would still need my glasses to see it.
My nephew loved this for his Christmas gift. Works as described. Surprisingly very clear and vivid for the price.
An excellent VR set which is really fun to play with, the Nintendo switch fits perfectly, slots right in. It is lovely in quality, very easy to use and it is fairly lightweight for its size. I have had one in the past from another company and it can be quite heavy. It also fits around the head really well and can be adjusted as well ast he lenses, does not work with every game but once you get the game that you like that is compatible with this device, you will absolutely love it and it brings a different type of excitement to the game! Not too expensive which i am surprised about, cheap, cheerful and a really fun product.

I am short-sighted. After wearing it, I feel dizzy when I look at the lens. The picture quality is high-definition, but it will be a little dizzy and dizzy for the lens.
You’ll want to adjust its elastic to the best size for you before using it.
The children had a great time. It makes the footage of the game more lively and interesting.
The kids have been playing Super Mario Smash Bros which is VR compatible and have been watching VR compatible YouTube videos.
