I couldn’t find a stair gate to fit my stairs and this is perfect. I also think it looks a lot nicer than your standard white metal gate. Easy to install and very sturdy. 10/10

Haben es 2x bestellt und auf der berdachten Terrasse als Hundeschutzgitter montiert. Muss allerdings sehr weit unten angebracht werden, dass der Hund nicht unten durch geht.
my nephew loves it for his 1 year old & his dogs. easy to open for adults to get past harder for children to figure it out. very sturdy too

Using this product as an extra barrier to the front door to prevent pet’s getting out when the front door is opened. Works a treat and looks great. Better than a conventional baby gate as it’s only closed when needed to be, the roller mechanism is smooth and strong. Added bonus is that it comes with 2 fitting kits so you can easily use it in more than one place. 5 Star product and perfect for the application we’ve out it to.

This safety gate has been great to keep our little one out the kitchen. It saves so much space compared to the usual far as which open in or outwards. Was easy to install.

We used this to help keep the dog out of certain rooms when she is muddy, so far it has done the trick and sits away neatly when we are not using it.
Really like this baby gate. It was the only I could find that would cover the gap we had! It’s 6ft wide so can cover a double door space easily. Nice to install with the template on the side of the box so it’s easy to line all of the screws up.
This has been a life saviour for us…our LO started going up this stairs faster than we thought! Bought this to use as a baby gate and it’s been a blessing! Its sturdy and decent length…he’s unable to pull it open …sits well and has fixed well . Our 6 year old is also able to functionally use it …so it’s a win win situation ! Happy with the look and the functionality!
Fitted stairwell and looks neat, not the quickest gate to install but the instructions are good. We use it to keep the puppy off the stairs and also the grandchildren. Good value.
This is the best thing for an open door way with no door!!! It is mounted on the front of the doorway so not reducing the opening at all. Only problem is the adults who just don’t have a clue about locking and opening it. The toddlers could probably show them! But an ideal solution to a pressing problem

This gate was installed in a tricky location.. top of my basement stairs. Installed easily, very sturdy and soft gate material yet strong and taut. Wish I had purchased this gate years ago!
We are renters and didn’t want to put screws in on our base boards so we installed right above. Unfortunately, baby figured out how to crawl underneath. Maybe not the best product for renters. Eventually he will be too big to fit under but for now we are constantly blocking it off or putting something in front of it.

Good stair gate…….once its up!!
I found it actually quite hard to put up in the 1st place….maybe thats because of the door frames or maybe its because the instructions were not that good.
Either way took a good while to actually get It together and attached to the door frame.
Now its up its actually an okay gate although no good for the dogs as they have learnt to jump it.
Fitted across the back door which goes off my dad’s bedroom. He likes to nap with the door open but the dog likes to run out to chase birds or cats which come into the garden. This should keep her from getting into trouble during nap time

Ma femme est assistante maternelle, nous en avons achet 2: 1 en bas de l’escalier, 1 en haut. a coulisse bien, c’est joli, on ne se prend pas les pieds dedans. Clairement on ne l’ouvre pas tout le temps, on passe la jambe par dessus en journe quand les enfants sont l. a fait un peu de sport !

These are great easy to hang, also I got it him on one door so can go across my stairs too, there was extra parts so we could do Thai. Definitely would recommend for stairs as normal metal ones you can easily trip over. There is nothing on the step or floor with this stair gate for you to trip on 🙂 so highly Recommend:)

It’s so good although my puppy crawls underneath it which is annoying and shouldn’t be able to happen, especially for the price but it’s still good and comes in handy!
I was kinda scared reading the reviews. But all of the fears vanished once installed. It was quick 5-10 minutes baby can still see on the other side but not get in. It’s super easy to retract when she’s asleep and we need easy access to the other room. Some people were saying it retracts and hits their baby in the face. Well duh !! You need to keep baby safely away when you do. And don’t just let it go it’s like retracting a measuring tape you need yo guide it.

It`s not very often I leave reviews but this definitely deserves one, fitted at our side door to keep our choccie lab in, the gate is really easy to install with great easy to follow instructions, it comes with templates you can put up on the wall to mark holes, saving you having to measure the right spot to drill, it even comes with spacers so if you are fitting on a wall with a skirting board, the spacers ensure the gate is level, I purchased a cheaper version first and found that half the bits were missing so returned that one, glad i did in favor of this one, it is brilliant and I guess most importantly will stop the dog going for a wander on his ow
I bought another brand/same style and I liked that one better than this one. This one’s hooks are a lot shorter and sometimes my daughter realizes she can just push hard enough to knock it off. Overall it’s a good buy but I wish I bought the other one again isntead.
Bought in February and took 3 consecutive days of thunderstorms before my hound frantically crawled under it and broke one of the wall mount pieces. Good product….wish we could purchase replacement mounting supplies, because she’s just a big baby.

Have had this thing for about 6 months in order to keep a saint bernard puppy confined to a laundry area instead of using a crate. I really like the retractable feature because then it’s not always in the way.
However, he could fit under it when he was 12 lbs and can still fit under it at 120 lbs. He essentially learned that if it’s hooked, then he’s supposed to stay back there, but eventually he also learned he can take his giant paw, bash at it once and unhook it. We started finding him wandering the house when we got home from errands. He hasn’t broken the hooks or torn the mesh, which is impressive, so it’s definitely well made.
But if you need something sturdy to actually keep pets or kids at bay, this probably isn’t it. If you’re okay with a deterrent that is conveniently out of the way when you don’t need it, this is pretty good.

Love it! Just what I wanted. Durable, simple to use. Love how it’s not in the way when not in use. Retracts smoothly and easy to install as long as you don’t read The directions because they make it more confusing than helpful.
We have a 100lb Shepherd/Lab mix who loves getting into the trash and has opened every pet and toddler lock we’ve tried in the past. Before we got this, there was an actual patio brick on top of the trash can. It’s tall enough that he hasn’t tried to jump it, and easy enough to open and close that the 7 yr old can do it himself.
Perfectly easy for a mother carrying a baby to use. Quick release/unlock, then unhook and it retracts as a roller blind. Make sure to follow fitting instructions and keep low to the ground or else smaller beings will escape.
Achet pour mettre en haut des escaliers pour viter la petite marche qu’il y a avec les barrires. Il a fallu quelques travaux pour l’installer mais ensuite trs facile ouvrir et fermer d’une main. Solide et ne se dforme pas mme avec mon fils de trois ans qui s’appuie dessus. Par contre il a vite trouv comment la dverrouiller, le systme est trop simple.
Mis en place a pied d’un escalier tournant, a la hauteur de la 2eme marche. Nous sommes trs satisfaits de la simplicit d’utilisation et de la rapidit d’ouverture/fermeture. Mme notre fils de 5ans arrive parfaitement utiliser la barrire.

I’ve waited until now to write a review on the product to see how practical and safe it is. I bought three of these together as we just bought a house and I wanted discreet gates in the house. Only one was installed downstairs until we made adjustments for others to be installed. I still only have one installed but I’m on my second gate in 3 months! The first my 14 month old lost her footing and went into the gate which then snapped off the bracket and my little girl ended up with an injury. We replaced it with another, hoping it was just a faulty one-off but the other gate broke in the same place and luckily no injuries were inflicted. I’m really disappointed in this product and really love the ease and discreetness but I can’t back the gate as being safe.

Brilliant that’s all I can say. Stops our puppy going up the stairs and as we could not have a normal baby gate as I have difficulty with stairs so I could not have any thing across the step so this suited us. Ease of opening and closing. Easy to install.
This really is an ideal staircase. You pull it across and hook it, then turn it taught.

Slightly frustrated by the “easy to install” instructions. We had to use the spacers and the instructions were not very clear on their use. Otherwise great. I also loved the drilling template! Make it so much easier!

Pose assez rapide, produit un peu trop souple mon gout mais une fois verrouill pas de soucis.
The rest of the installation was made easy with the ingenuously thought out methods of securing the hardware to the wall. Do not throw away the box as soon as you’re done unpacking, because on the side there is a panel you can cut out that has the distance between the two brackets already measured out. Just put on the wall, mark it, proceed to the next side.
The sturdiness depends on the screws you buy. I bought size #8 1 1/2″ brass course threads and it works just fine. You’ll need 12 in total.
The rest works as advertised!
Update: After one month of use, my son has learned that he can crawl underneath of the gate. This does not work if the gate is locked and it is taut, however getting the people in your house accustomed to doing so may take some time and a couple of unexpected visits from your child.

Love how easy it is to use once installed. Even the husband can use it 😉 The installation was a bit confusing with multiple attachments for the wall. They aren’t the same but says it can be used in multiple places. Still not sure about the 2nd set of wall attachments.

I like this design as it almost disappears when not required. I don’t know what I got 2 sets of all of the clips and twice as many screws. It could be cheaper perhaps with fewer spare parts. Overall a great product. Well designed.

I love the look of this baby gate. I have two toddlers that hang onto it and it holds up really well. Been using it for a few weeks so far. Install was simple with the template guides they provide. This gate can be easily stepped over as an adult on the stairs. So we don’t open and close it often just because it is more inconvenient than just stepping over it. Will be buying more as I find where I need them!

Good looking easy to use keeps the dog out of the kitche
We look after one daughter’s dog and he had to have an operation on his back so isn’t allowed upstairs any more so this is to stop him and it works fine. Easy to open and close and goes back out of the way when we don’t have to use it.
I bought this for my Dad’s house. He is over 80 and can be a bit unsteady if he gets up in the night. We fitted this across the top of the stairs to prevent falls. I’ve tested it by leaning against it and it is sturdy and reassuring. It is easy to extend and lock in place. The ‘oldies’ feel very reassured by having it there.
We swapped our conventional gate for this one because in the dark we kept stumbling over the bottom bit – we had to fix it to the stairs and the bottom part took over half of the stair.
This one doesn’t have any bottom bit so we are loving it! The cats can seep through the side, while the baby can’t. It is soft in case baby bashes her head on it. Easy to manipulate with one hand.
Leider eine etwas unverstndliche Montage Anleitung. Ansonsten ist es sehr robust hlt unseren Welpen gut aus, auch bisher keine Lcher oder Maschen gezogen durch die Krallen unseres Hundes.
We love this gate! It is easy to retract with 1 hand while holding my daughter in the other. We love that it came with extra brackets. We installed brackets at the top and bottom of the stairs and the actual gate is extremely easy to remove and move up or down the stairs. I can remove the gate and move up or down the stairs all with one hand! Highly recommend this gate!

We were looking for a white retractable gate at a cheaper price point than another one we already had. Of the two different brands we purchased, this was the winner.
This gate is sturdy when in the ‘lock’ position. Good quality for the price. The gate retracts quickly and you can open the gate with one hand. Would recommend!
