Great Descale
Received product promptly as advertised. Value for money and descaled my kettle, thermo flask and coffee maker quite well.

Brilliant product. I live in a very hard water area down south, so the kettle gets full of limescale quickly.
This gets rid of it all quickly and easily, loads in this box too so have plenty to spare – will definitely buy again once I’ve ran out!

worked fine for my kettle, I had to use 2 sachets but I was dealing with terrible built up from hard London water.

I like the product as I use it all the time….I dislike the really seriously damaged outer packaging. The product was fine, can use it normally but come on…what do these people do with it?

I have tried various products and different methods to periodically clean and descale my kettle and steam-iron. Oust is the best product I have used over the years, and I keep returning to it.
I find it simple to use, and extremely effective.
The instructions for use are clear and set out in detail on each pouch of liquid.
Note that with a steam iron, you heat the iron before you add the Oust and do not reheat it or you could have clouds of “oust steam” in the room. Only use it on your steam iron if the Instructions say that you can – some irons have special cartridges and should not be descaled with something like Oust.
I have tried different products, but I find Oust the most effective.
keep my kettle clean and lime-scale free
We make lots of hot drinks daily (family of 5) and the lime scale is so annoying as it can develops over a week or a two. so i got this on subscription for the past 6 months and it keeps my kettle squeaky clean. i recommend this for the fam that finds it hard to keep up with the limescale.
Certainly DoesThe Job
Ordered Sunday, arrived Monday. First descaling was carried out on Electric Kettle and the inside looked as good as new after the process. Then the Tassimo Happy Coffee Machine – can’t comment on how the process went other than the fact the Red Warning light on the machine was no longer illuminated afterwards. Highly recommended!!
Works really well
Really please with this descaler. We live in a hard water area and this worked really well on our kettle. We tried some home remedies first like lemon and vinegar but they didn’t work very well but this shifted the lime scale really quickly. We even used it on our old kettle which came up almost looking like new. Would definitely recommend!

Normally use white vinega
I usually use white vinegar but I tried these out. They work really well and it’s really simple to do. So now I use either depending on what I have in the cupboard.
Why did i not discover this earlier?
always had a really gross limescaley kettle until i bought this product, discovered it by chance and never looking back!! this works like a miracle and i no longer need to buy a new kettle!

Restored my kettle
I lived in London for seven years and had a new kettle for about a year before I moved which was completely filled with limescale. I used this product it cleared the limescale up and now that I live in Yorkshire there has been no limescale in my kettle
Limescale remove
Very good for keeping kettles and other stuff free of timescale. Just take care as boiling water and acid are involved and absolutely don’t under any circumstances put any in your mouth.

Easy to use just add to a boiled kettle (not full) and let it eat away that scale.
Inside of kettle is sparkling
Used two of these inside our kettle which had a small build up of limescale on it. This was making the tea and coffee have a funny taste so used two packs of these into half filled, freshly boiled water and left it for 15 minutes. Had tried one at first but didn’t lift the stains so used another one and after another 10 minutes or so, came back and the kettle was truely sparkeling inside like brand new. Brilliant stuff.
Rinsed the kettle thoroughly and threw the first boiled kettle full away, then after that kettle was perfect with 0 funny or after taste etc.
Worked well on kettle
Used this to descale the inside of a black kettle. Worked really well – was satisfying to see the plastic and element starting to look like new again. And to my surprise, cups of tea tasted much nicer for some time afterwards.
